Prezzo - Thame in South Oxfordshire

2nd take away, they have reduced the pizza topping so you have to buy additions (£1.5-£3 per topping) which we got 1/4 of a mushroom (pic below). This is the 2nd time, we will not get a takeaway from this restaurant again, £15 for small pizza that you have to pickup is not worth it, they must be trying to cut costs. Real shame.

10 of us out for dinner including small children but we had a lovely table just out the way to accommodate us, the food was delicious and the service was lovely we even got a couple of free glasses as my partner liked them so much and the staff was kind enough to give him some. We will definitely be back.

Great selection of Italian food, also. Iffering vegetarian options and gluten free course.

Went there for a pre-theatre meal before travelling to Aylesbury. Food was delicious, service was excellent and all at a good price. One of the really key things is that they listened to what we needed and delivered! Thank you guys! 🙂👍

I think it was nice time in this restaurant. The food and design they were very good. I want too say thank you for ( gentlemen ), The waiter from Greece was nice and helpful, I forgot his name again.. 💡I have a note!!!! The spaghetti with cream sauce was warm and I prefer it hot.

Food was good. The down side with this restaurant is that as it starts to fill, it gets a bit cramped down stairs in the main part. There is an upstairs, but not always available.

Great staff, foods amazing. Goats cheese and roasted peppers pizza was the bomb. Kate and Abbey, are the best in the whole of prezzo. They're great fun super happy and made the night so much more enjoyable

Very busy midweek. Although service was slow due to the number of dinners, and the presence of some more demanding customers, we were impressed with how professional the manager was in handling the slower than usual service and how she supported the waitresses. Food was very good.

We never went in but being asked to evalute Love prezzo so giving it 5s

We came to restaurant tonight and we stood waiting for several minutes. The chef looked up but said nothing to us. Eventually a waitress came past , looked at us and carried on doing something at the bar. No acknowledgement at all. A simple I will be with you shortly would suffice. We left and found somewhere with better service!

We really enjoyed our meal last week. I went with my family and a couple of ex work colleagues. We were given a table which had plenty of space for our pram and a high chair which was great. Service and food were excellent. We get take away or eat in as a special treat. Very glad to have a Prezzo in Thame. I liked the new "Spinach Creste Di Gallo with Pesto, Peas & Burrata" pasta.

Not our first visit to this branch of Prezzo and certainly won’t be our last. The welcome on arrival was friendly and helpful as usual. The menu has a good variety of choices which should meet everyone’s needs and when it arrived our food was nicely presented and cooked. They also have a good selection of wines and nonalcoholic options. The staff are always friendly and helpful which makes for a good experience and the restaurant has a good atmosphere and is comfortable. The toilets are spotlessly clean.

Got the 25% January deal , good service, food ok.

Service is good, great young people and very helpful. Starter was good and warm. But If you have a main dish like pasta or sea bass, which is around £18 was not warm and was cold. They were cooked and ready under light to get served. Prezzo is ok but over over priced for what you get.

Last minute group of 7, friendly service and pretty quick. Giving a chain 6 stars is always problematic for me so this is a very good rating. They did manage to miss a desert but apologised and sorted it quickly.

Lovely Italian restaurant in the town center. Staff very friendly. The interior is very good with lots of space. The menu has a lot of choice. The pizzas are excellent. Highly recommended.

Mediocre food and wine. It had been a while since I had been to a Prezzos and was left disappointed with the Menu they have now at much higher pricing.

The food was responsible but a bit bland and expensive for what you get ok if you use Tesco vouchers. The waitress was very friendly and helpful.

Good food and service. Fairly limited range of options. Seating is fairly cramped and too many tables are squeezed in on the ground floor. Upstair dining area but seems to be only used on exceptionally busy occasions - they appear to prefer to have a waiting line rather than open upstairs. Plenty of staff, a number of whom seemed not very busy and preferred talking to each other.

The food was okay-ish, but the portions were incredibly small. I ordered a portion of calamari, and I got back 7 pieces of calamari on a plate, the size of a coin each. It was not very clean either, all the tables were sticky, and I barely found one that wasn't. I will never go back to this place, very disappointing.

Incredibly expensive now. Used to be a good budget family restaurant. No one ever asks if you want chilly oil or cheese grated on you dishes anymore. Far to expensive for what you receive.

Went for dinner My partners pizza arrived with a uncooked base after waiting for 40 minutes. We sent it back we waited another 10 minutes then left. Would not recommend.

A pleasant restaurant set in Thame. They accept Tesco vouchers.

Opens after 9pm on a saturday which is great given the rest of Thame is a ghost town - Be warned the vegan chicken topping is vile.

Smart and spacious with a decent set menu including gluten free and vegan options. Welcoming & knowledgable staff and a more relaxing atmosphere compared to some more cramped locations like Reading. The Italian “humus” is really tasty and there are good gluten free pizza options. The penne could have been nicer for an Italian restaurant but the arrabbiata sauce was excellent and the home produced chilli oil appreciated! Beware, the gluten free cheesecake and vegan triple chocolate tart are very rich.

We went here after being unable to book the Italian restaurant across the street, that we have visited before. This was a pleasant surprise. We started with garlic bread to share, then I had the alfredo and hubby had the mushroom tagliatelle, we both had tiramisu and coffee. All lovely and excellent value as ordered off the set menu. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Red House wine perfectly acceptable.

Shame they had to close my 2 favourite prezzo because Thame is hit and miss with their food and service... they only seem to want to sell you things not give the best advice...menue online shows different to that in store..nothing mentioned about card payments only till you get the bill... Tastecard rewards seem to be at the detrement of birthday rewards... one or the other... Can't say I was impressed with much of our food.

Bellissima!! For a moment there I thought I was in Italy! The manager at prezzo Thame runs an extremely tight ship. With professional helpful happy staff everytime I come here. The food is consistent and always cooked and presented perfectly! It is an absolute pleasure to wine and dine here. Great experience from arriving to leaving 10/10

Haven't been to a prezzo in ages and pleasantly surprised. The pizzas are very good with tasty thin bases (no dough sweats!) and well topped. All reasonably priced which gets better as prezzo often sign up to any 2for1 3rd party promotions (we used meerkat meals) making it good value. The thame restaurant is nearly located to visit one of the many pubs in thr Town afterwards and a car park that is free for 3 hours is directly opposite. Recommend.

Nice restaurant, friendly staff nice food, just a bit worried about the cloth they were cleaning the glasses with behind the bar. Was on a table near the bar and the cloth did not look particularly clean and was dropped on the floor several times and not washed or thrown away.

Small venue trying it's best to social distance customers but profits come before safety. Nice food but they needed the table back almost the second we finished eating. Not a pleasant experience.

It's hard to say great things about a chain. After all, it is a chain. Good service, good food, and a good price. Nothing outstanding but then you'd struggle to get that with a chain. My expectations are average and I think they exceeded that with a 'good'.

Nice food and good service. Only down side was we were seated next to a couple with screaming kids. That reduced a star off the experience for me.

What a disappointment Prezzo was today. Booking a table for 7.30 and had to wait before people had finished... Menu price for father's Day was dearer than advertised on web site and the selection was very poor... Without complaining, because we knew the answer would involve Covid as being the culprit our meals were very bland... Some were not hot and the children's were very measly.. considering the amount of excellent Prezzo restaurant that have been closed, this was not up to any of their standards and we won't be rushing back.. Sorry Prezzo bring your standards back up..

If you like to binge on dough, then here's your chance. Unless you have the fish, then you will go to bed feeling like a bloated frog.

Had the set menu. Starter and mains for £10, good value in my opinion. Perfectly cooked pizzas in there own pizza oven. Every meal was well portioned, pleasant evening. Would go again in future with family, small social groups and even businesses partners. Respectful, friendly and helpful servers. A little loud at busy times because it's quite echoey, but it shouldn't be a big concern, that's the only reason why 4 starts.
