Zizzi - Henley in South Oxfordshire

Very nice spacious area, pleasant waiter, lovely cook Ricardo prepared everything very well and fresh for me and my friend. Nice room lighting, clean, fast service, and delicately delicious food, with good drinks with a distinctive flavor. Enjoyable place.

The food is very nice and when I was watching the chef make pizza he washed his hands every time he put the cheese on it

We love Zizzi, great for Gluten free and kids. One thing would be to increase the size of salads (they are v small for a main and rather expensive!)

This was my first visit to this Zizzi and the whole experience was very pleasant, we were greeted with a smile, our servers were both efficient and hospitable. We decided to sit outside in their wonderful courtyard and ordered a Pizza and Pasta both of which were very nice, hot, fresh especially the pizza. I would visit this branch again if I am in Henley and would recommend a visit if you are looking for both good service, food at a reasonable price.

Probably not the best Zizi restaurant 😕 I have been too. The food wasn't the greatest the breads and brushetta were very stale and not very nice to eat. What stood out the most in the restaurant was how dirty the place was. If I had noticed this beforehand I would certainly have not of eaten there. Shame really, a big let down for Zizzi....

Very enjoyable rustica pizza followed by back cherry cheesecake. Even better mostly paid for in Tesco vouchers. And a big thumbs up to the serene Faith.

Just went to zizis ordered a calzone and didnt know it had pork in it (im muslim and dont eat pork) i told the waitress and she was amazing she was understanding and asked me if i wanted anything I ordered a pizza and the calzone was taken off our bill. You guys were amazing thank you for being understanding and for the impeccable service.

Can’t rate the food as still waiting for my order. Can rate the attitude and atmosphere of my greeting though, which was terse and unprofessional. Venting ‘short staff’ issues and projecting your anger, annoyance and frustration towards customers WILL NOT help. Don’t put us in the middle of your conflicts, it’s simply not fare. Letting customers know you have some challenges in a cheerful manner and suggesting to them that if service is not up to standard they raise their concerns in feedback mechanisms is much healthier and friendly towards customers (the people you need for your business to be successful!).

Always love the pizzas from here asked for 2 bills but then when asked for the bill it arrive on 1, waiter said it wouldn’t be an issue but then took 10 minutes to sort out after Should have taken separate orders in the first place Ask for mayo and got charged £1 for a little dollop another rip off Wasn’t given the free snacks when others around us on tables were given - considering the bill was over £100 tell me what the difference was 🤷🏼‍♀️ An ok place place to go but wouldn’t return

If you’re in Henley and fancy pizza or something else Italian then you won’t go wrong here. The food was delicious; perfectly cooked pasta, great sauces and a gorgeous pizza. If you like spicy then I can recommend the chilli garlic bread 🥵. A very pleasant, well priced merlot to go with the meal too 😋. The staff were great and the service was rapid. A nice vibe too in this quaint olde-world restaurant. Definitely recommend. P.S. #Taste Card

It’s fine! It’s Zizzi’s - exactly what you expect. Perfectly nice pizza, nothing special. This one is large and they don’t seem to use at the space. Staff friendly /helpful

We went to Zizzi Henley for the first time on Thursday. We were not disappointed. We had three Courses, all of which were very good and brought to us promptly. A big thank you to Mark and the Zizzi Team at Henley for making our visit so enjoyable. We will definitely return

Ordered pizza because our gas stove broke down in our campervan when camping at Swiss Farmhouse on Marlow road. (Tip!) Delicious pizza, quick and friendly! Night saved.

Came to zizzi on Friday and sat outside in their courtyard. Nice setting with a good atmosphere and even better food. Service was fab from one of the managers in the green jacket who even ordered us a taxi home. Will come again and would recommend!

We had a big crowd of 20+, and everything went great. Tasty pizza and salad.

What an absolute treat? We returned to Henley upon Thames as the scene of the crime on the 20th anniversary of our first date. The restaurant was busy however we were never rushed or kept waiting by an excellent team who were attentive and interactive in a friendly, natural manner without being obsequious. The three courses that we had were well presented, very tasty and balanced. We will return to Henley and this time it will not take 20 years and we will definitely book Zizi! Thank you

Made a family visit to zizzi in henley for father days, the restaurant was pretty full nevertheless we were given a table very quickly, the staff was very nice and the service was superb!!! Food was surprisingly quick, my wife and i had calamari for starting and she had truffle pizza for main and i had truffle carbonara, the kids went for kids menu and we had really good time, deserts like always great! My son felt outside and scratched his back the staff was super helpfull and handed us a plaster, you can notice there is a good management team in this place. We will be back for sure !!!

I ordered the vegan lasagna which has a picture showing layers of vegetables in between the pasta layers. There were no vegetables other than spinach in the tomato sauce. Very poor, not worth the money and not comparable to the other served to the group.

The loos were a disgrace. The fist loo was in use, the second one was leaking on the floor and the third one had the seat skewed at about 45oC. To add to this, there was no soap to wash ones hands with. I would expect this of a garage but not of a restaurant .

I went here for a friend's 40th birthday. We had the upstairs booked for her party and the service and food couldn't have been better. Excellent venue, tremendous staff and the food was superb. I highly recommend a visit.

Nice enough place and staff seemed friendly. Had to wait for our tables to be pushed together as despite booking ahead there was no table for 5. Table next to kitchen and an open door to a storage/delivery area so a cold draught all evening. Food took ages to arrive, too many covers not enough staff. 7pm on a Friday and run out of non- alcoholic beer. Food was ok with starters and desserts the pick but wouldn’t go back.

Great food. Overall, the food was very tasty and all the ingredients of high quality. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and would highly recommend popping in for a pizza or pizza. 2 small negatives.... 1. the bill to ages to be settled after having requested to make payment 3 times over 25min. 2. There was a bit of loud verbal scolding of a staff member in front of patrons... passionate manager i suppose. ;)

We called in tonight as a first time visit , it’s a lovely building as a setting for a restaurant, team were very welcoming and we were offered a great table . Menu is varied with lots of choice we picked the lasagna & linguine with tiramisu after it was lovely . The team a great and friendly. A lovely experience we will be back .

Popped in for a quick lunch. Pizza and garlic bread with caramelised onion to share with my husband did the trick.

We had such delicious Italian food after a very long time. This place has so many kind of dishes and quality provided is the best. We ordered vegeterain food like Mushroom Brindisi, Fonduta Formaggi, Vegeterian Lentil Ragu and Chips here. Firstly, we were asked in case we have any allergies. The food was served very hot and quantities were also good. The Fonduta was mouth-watering. All the dishes took little time to prepare but after eating even 1 bite of them, you will forget that little wait you had to do. The ambience was pretty cool and staff was amazing too. If you are in Henley-On-Thames, then don't miss eating here. This place is just 2min from the town centre and really worth it. It was different from usual Zizzi chains.

Came 2 weeks ago on Sunday 5th March - with 2 boys and mum. Training going on, however soon finished and food came out very good. Great service and chef. Will be back, tasty pasta and pizza Mr Mander

During a visit to Zizi at Henley on Thames in September last year a waiter managed to spill a full glass of red wine over me and my Burberry hand bag. Immediately all the staff disappeared and we had to go and look for someone just to get a towel and paper wipes. The staff were evasive and rude and refused help in any way and stated that the public liability insurance details were locked away in the managers office. I contacted customer services and their response has been just as bad even though they have admitted liability they have refused to apologize in any way. My hand bag and clothes were ruined, stained with red wine.

Lovely friendly staff, didn't have to book we asked could we change tables as large family group came in no problem. Good food, great service 👍

Visited tonight meal much as expected for freezer food , no ambiance screaming children after 930pm , so no romance ! No desserts as kitchen shut ! Just not good enough as our table 830 pm ! It’s a no from us !

So busy with deliveroo orders we didn't get our food for over an hour. So we walked out.

Great food although working with a reduced menu so a number of dishes weren't available. The staff were excellent and actually the food we had was very tasty. It was a shame the specials advertised weren't actually available, I thought it would be better not to advertise these dishes. Apart from availability and without being too grumpy, def worth a visit and we will be going back

Disorganised...I went there on Sunday with my partner...we were the only table in the whole restaurant until other people came. They have mistaken our order twice...my partner just wanted to eat and leave, it was that bad...we were nice though and left the waiter 5 £ tip on card...but not planning to come back in that Zizzi or any Zizzi, at all...

Food was as expected good like others zizzy. But service was horrendous: almost empty restaurant and we waited long time even drinks. Got starters before drinks and need to ask for drinks. Completely chaotic service, other tables got their food 3x times faster. Missed extras in pizza as well. Waiting for service and upstairs 2 workers assebly the boxes for pizza at the same time. Need to think about prioritises.

Appalling service and undrinkable coffee… as for Speedy Zizzi ordering; laughable. Avoid at all costs or certainly for the £7 it cost for 2 ‘coffees’.

The building is amazing but food really average

Top marks for comedic value. It was hilarious and we can't stop laughing about the evening we just had. On a par with Faulty Towers. It was a complete disaster. The staff all seem to spliffed up and not aware of their surroundings at all. They did not make up out table or bring cutlery. Hastily gave us the food without drinks, cutlery, napkins. We bolted down our food, paid and got out of there as soon as we could.

Place was a mess... the table wasn't made so we basically we were on a bare table, we had to ask for cutlery?? We asked for water many times and got it 40 mins late. Barely any drinks, the waiter said there was mango juice, we ordered it, never got it, then found out they didn't sell it. Anyways what a mess but we had a laugh. Food was edible...

Very poor customer service from the beginning till the end. Avoid this place. Lack of experience from staff members. My boyfriend and I had to ask for cutlery and napkins. Our waitress looked like she didn’t know what she was doing and made mistakes with our order. We found hair in the arancini and waited an hour for the mains to arrive. The pasta was disgusting and tasteless I don’t recommend ordering King Prawns Linguine and Pollo Piccante. I believe the staff should receive better training and be taught how to interact with customers.
