Great place great food my favourite Prezzo

We didn’t realise Prezzo did take away nor did we know they did GF food. Managed to order online with ease. Picked up at the time it was booked for and was very tasty. Will use again in future.

Couldn’t fault the service by Freya. Used a 50% off food voucher which gave us a great saving. Great service. Great food.

I love a good Prezzo, and this one didn't disappoint. We were on a large family trip and we actually came here for dinner two nights in a row. Great location, spacious restaurant, friendly staff and gorgeous food! Shout out to the blonde Romanian(?) lady, whom I think was the manager - chatty and friendly 😊

We could not fault the service and the food was perfectly cooked. We had a lovely relaxing meal at a table overlooking the High Street. All in all we would recommend the Aldeburgh Prezzo.

Went with family. Pizza crust ok, but no topping within an inch of the edges, and what there was on the middle part was extremely meagre. I had goats cheese and roasted pepper. There were two thin pieces of pepper on the pizza. The other pizzas were equally stingy. Very poor value. Unfortunately there is no competition for this end of the market in Aldeburgh so they don't seem interested in improving. It's worth a drive to go somewhere else because you will be disappointed here.

Worst prezzo we've been in. Rude staff, poor food, pizza base rock hard, missing fruit off dessert. Very disappointing and will not return.

We live locally and visit this Prezzos all year round. Both the ladies who run the restaurant are fantastic and always run off their feet. They work so hard. As do all the staff and the chefs. Food has definitely improved . Try the breakfast really good and lots of choice. In fact we are going tonight !

- wasn’t busy when we came but there was only 1 staff who was on duty - asked for ketchup , didn’t bring it, no-one was around (the lady wandered off so couldn’t ask anyone), our food was getting cold so had to get up and find it at the kitchen counter … no salt on table either , just pepper - kids burger looked dry, nothing just a burger patty on a bun - my meal was very tasteless (crab linguine), - dirty place, flies everywhere and landing on our food wouldn’t return again

Table booked for 5pm. Ordered drinks that came fairly quickly . The food which we then ordered being basic pizzas all round took nearly half hour. Clearly short staff. It became busy & the staff were running around seating everyone. Eventually arrived. I ordered a one scoop ice cream for my young grandson who was getting bored at this point, took a good 20 mins. I might as well got it myself. I've been to other Prezzos down south east England & not experienced it for bad.

Overall a great lunch in this brunch, very nice staff and tasty hot food! Will come back and recommend

Sorry Prezzo but your restaurant has gone downhill. The waiters looked scruffy and unkept, not a smile between them, pretty dire really. Our calamari was fine but our main meals were served cold, they were removed and "nuked" in the microwave which resulted in rubbery pasta. There was hardly any crab in mine but an awful lot of chillies, which overpowered everything else. We were given a free dessert to compensate. This restaurant used to be fantastic but sadly now it's overpriced for poor quality food. I think your staff need changing as well. They looked unhappy and scruffy. Maybe a new uniform would be in order, with neat and tidy hair If I didn't have my gourmet card with me last, I certainly would not have paid the right price. It's going to be a long time before we go there again. Sorry Prezzo, but you must pull your socks up. You have a commanding position in Aldeburgh and your restaurant should reflect this, but sadly it didn't

Poor food - dry sea bass, mediocre over peppered sauce. Wilted (not in a good way) pea shoots and a handful of peas with ordinary gnocchi

Visited Aldborough Prezzos for a treat with the parents. The ambiance was gloomy, and the seats were tatty, and was cold. Firstly I was given lager when I asked for cider, then mother was served Rigatoni Arrabbiata when she had ordered Cannelloni. It took less than five minutes from ordering to receiving our food so couldn't have been fresh, and prepared with care, reflected in the taste which was very much the standard of microwave meals. Deserts were fine, but the hot chocolates were nearly cold. Father used gift vouchers to pay for his meal, so although we paid in separate couples, the stroppy waitress said I was unable to redeem my 'Meercat' 25% discount, because father had presented vouchers, although we paid separately in couples. She went on to say that head office were watching her so she couldn't allow it. Somehow i got conned out of a £17 discount, and it wasn't the 'Meercat'. Unfortunately they don't take cash anymore, so I was unable to leave a cash tip. This restaurant has gone shockingly downhill in the last couple of years, not a treat anymore, just over priced especially drinks! I won't be returning. I'll be giving my custom to the nearby Wentworth Hotel next time I visit Aldborough.

Welcome was good as was the food. Fairly standard Prezzo really and we got what we expected. The downside was the service as both waitresses, although lovely, spent a lot of time talking to other customers while we waited for our plates to be cleared and the desert menu to be brought.

I haven't eaten here for over two years but now that Prezzo,s are again offering special deals I was temped to give it a try again. I ordered a 250 ml malbec and alfredo rigatoni chicken ( no side dishes) which cost £26.50. The wine was ok, The pasta was very dry,it was a case of hunt the chicken accompanied by a spoonful sun dried tomatoes, and red /yellow peppers which were not on the menu. I SHOULD HAVE SENT IT BACK IMMIDEATLY, but I was very tired and hungry and thought if that's the best that the chef can do it was my bad choice to go to Prezzo's. As a resident of Aldeburgh their are so many proper restaurants to eat in that offer really nice food and are far better value for money. I would not be surprised if they close this Prezzo's shortly. My advice is give Prezzo's a miss until they start getting 4-5 star trip advisor reviews and increase dramatically the number of customers they currently have which is reflected in the small number of reviews (6 ) that they have here january - may this year.

What an absolute delight this Prezzo has become under its new manager. How one person can transform, or break, a place always amazes me, but there we are. 10/10 for service and delightful food. Well done. On a rainy day, you made the sun come out!

Horrendous. Ordered 5 pizzas for takeaway, went to pick up as instructed 45 mins later. After 15 mins wait they told us they hadn't made any of them because they were missing one ingredient for one of the pizzas. Avoid.

We really enjoy a prezzo usually with the kids, we’ve been to this one a few times and had very mixed experiences. Prezzo is usually great for GF but last time we went my mozarella pizza bread was served still uncooked in the middle and pasta only had a tiny bit of meat in it which is unusual for a prezzo. They also informed us at the end of the meal that you couldn’t use Tesco club card vouchers there which is contrary to the Tesco website. All round we were just a bit disappointed.

Places like this need to go the way of the dodo. Food as artificial as the dusty plastic plants they see fit for use to dress the windows. Deserving only of being rated amoung the worst value culinary experiences in the UK at £6.50 for a 330ml can of beer served luke warm in a greasy glass to wash down the mass manufactured pseudo Italian gruel these places have the audacity to serve. Utterly shocking that anyone still has the stupidity to patronise businesses like this.

Attended the restaurant for a birthday party. Left very dissapointed and underwhelmed. Will not be returning. The service was very slow, was not offered any further drinks and had to ask the waiter/waitress for a dessert menu. I appreciate Saturday nights are busy but your service needs to be far better.

If your not hungry have a meal here. For the price I expected alot more on the plate, I've had bigger and tastier ready meals. Even the desert wasn't special so won't be dinning at any of pressos ever again

At best mediocre at worst dreadful. Prosecco warm - not a great start. My wife’s chicken Saltimbocca was awful. My rigatoni was just okay. Service was good and pleasant. Our first and last time visiting a Prezzo. Prices are far too high for quality of food. Drinks are ridiculous price - £6.95 for a pint; £4.95 for a cheap can. We got the Prosecco free for joining Prezzo for first time - best bit of the meal (although warm!)

Had a quick lunch there today with my daughter, I ordered a Gluten free Pizza, absolutely excellent! Couldn't fault it! My daughters food was spot on to. Service was great. Definitely upped their game. Also kids eat free at half term, what a winner

Very busy restaurant, staff were very attentive. A bit loud when your down the end surrounded by big families. Lovely food, fresh and hot.

We usually visit every few weeks. A pasta lunch and a walk along along the High Street/sea front. Sadly our last visit was not up to our usual standard. It was fairly busy with a 2 for 1 offer on main courses. My cannelloni was burnt, I had to prize it away from the dish, and it was burnt around the sides and underneath. The pasta was hard and the cheese solid! I mentioned this to the server. There appeared to only be two servers in the restaurant. My partner had a pasta dish that was fine. Due to the 2 for 1 offer I did not have to pay for my item.

We came away for the weekend to celebrate my 60th birthday. We were seated next to a cold draughty grubby window. Gave order but had to repeat it several times and still half of it wasn’t repeated back. Starter was ok but we both ordered the …Chicken Prosciutto & sage saltimbocca. We saw our meal heading our way and then disappear again. It arrived back before starter plates were cleared so 2 staff members trying to slide plates on while stater plates on table. All felt very amateurish. That was the good bit….. the burnt, dry chicken was stone cold with no sauce in sight. Potato looked awful as did the stalk ( with a little bit of cabbage on). Was absolutely shocking and the food isn’t cheap . We ordered extra chips which were cold too. Also told halfway through ordering we were at the wrong table ? Will not be returning.

Ordered a take out. Spag Bols and a Pizza. Spag Bol incredibly bland. Watery pasta and a sauce that was very low in taste. A jar of Dolmio tastes significantly better than what I paid for here. Feels like the recipe has been changed to cut costs. Doesn’t feel special, delicious, lush or something to look forward to anymore. Pizza was cold and dull. Not good value for money at all.

Like 2 different restaurants We went about 2 weeks ago and it was fab last night was just awful. The meal of 7 of us last night was just horrendous, took our order for drinks and starters all lovely the main courses on the other hand were awful. First 4 mains came out, plates hot food cold! All sent back 2 of the other main courses looked so bizarre “ CHICKEN, PROSCIUTTO & SAGE SALTIMBOCCA” I can only describe as half a cabbage, 2 strips of chicken and a baked potato sliced! Those were sent back twice the last time they were returned (no sauce first time) this time they returned with white wine just poured on the plate! No apologies, no offer of anything ..such poor customer service. What a shambles and we’re not the only ones who were unhappy customers, we heard 2 tables near us return food. Going out celebrating should be a fun and happy experience, we had fun as its was 2 of the groups birthdays but as for happy, Prezzo fell way short.

Fab food and fab staff !! The GF menu was delicious but they are no longer serving GF lager !!🤷‍♀️ Sorry to complain but GF peroni was always available but it’s no longer i was told by the waitress … and there is no other GF lagers available ,excuse me for being rude but why go to all this effort with excellent GF foods but you can’t purchase a GF lager to go with it … just buy some bottles surely !! Once again I have no words for why this would happen ! I’m coeliac and surely I’m not the only person who is missing GF lager with their GF pizza .. 😞 Come on Prezzo it’s not difficult is it !! Then you are offered a glass of wine ?that’s not really a substitute for lager is it !! Many places are catering for all dietary needs but this is just poor I’m afraid . Iwill be back as soon as GF lagers return at Prezzos

Extremely disappointed. For the price expected so much more. The chicken Saltimbocca looked horrible and according to my daughter didn't taste great either. The potato was grey and inedible. She ended up eating only the chicken and bacon. The server did his best to rectify the situation but the damage was already done. The spaghetti bolognese was watery as the pasta hadn't been drained properly so diluted the ragu too. Garlic bread was lovely as was the waiter. Will definitely not go to any Prezzo again as it's too much of a risk as to whether the food will be ok.I can't believe how much standards have fallen. Didn't stay for pudding ,went to a bakery instead. Toilets needed refurbishing too. There's only so much a cleaner can do.

Very disappointed with the service and quality of the food and drink. Food wasn’t served hot enough and came up too quickly to be freshly cooked. It seemed like it had been precooked and microwaved. Coffee took ages to come and not hot enough. Disappointing experience and Prezzo standards are much lower than they were pre Covid. Didn’t enjoy it at all and feel it is overpriced.

Went for a teenagers birthday meal and booked alcove room that we used 2 years ago during COVID, 2 years ago understandable some items were off, fast forward to 2023 can management please explain why at least 6-8 main dishes + additional desert items were off from a small menu anyway at 7pm on a Wednesday evening!?, including hamburgers! A problem with an 11 year old in the party who eats little else! Quite ridiculous, the Beccles preZzo now closed never had that problem. In the disabled toilet there is no running water, the central tap unit is just loose and doesn't turn on at all, this must be known by the management so why hasn't it been fixed? The service was friendly and attentive but it must be quite sole destroying working there, next time I will bring my ration book! Shame 😔 frankly!

Sat outside and waited for 20 minutes before going in to an empty almost restaurant to get a menu. Were told someone would be out to get out order asap. Sat outside for a further 20 minutes and we were just about to leave when someone finally turned up. I ordered the risotto and it was like a soup with a few lumps in it. When I complained I was told they could do me another one, but it would be the same as that is how they make it. I think that means that is how it comes pre packaged before it hits the microwave. Was not given the option of having something else instead. I had to ask for a spoon to eat it. I have never seen a risotto like that in my life. How can you claim to be an Italian restaurant but change a risotto to a soup! At £15.25 it was a tiny, tiny portion of soup as well. I had to go home and have a sandwich as I was still starving. Two mains, a couple of drinks and a shared starter at £75!!! No wonder the only Prezzos that have survived are the ones in tourist areas. Our local one closed years ago as no one would eat there.

Cold pizza, picked up our take out last night, 8.30pm as ordered. 10 min walk home. Food was cold. Had to crank up the oven and reheat it. We had planned to eat in but decided last minute on a takeaway and drinks at home. Think we dodged a bullet with that choice.

Decided to eat here As wanted a no fuzz meal. After searching we came across Prezzo and Had a lovely meal, calamari starter was delicious. The gnocchi and prawn starter was tasty.. the mains a calzone and Marsala chicken were yummy, deserts v nice and the bottle of montepulciano v pleasant. Service was fine. No complaints for this eve meal

Sadly this branch has gone a little downhill. We visit regularly and recently the place has been short staffed, the food average and generally a little disappointing. I do hope they can get their act together again soon as it's a much needed local, easy-dining spot.

Whilst down in Aldeburgh on holiday we thought we’d try it our first night as most places were full. We asked for a table and after deliberation the manager told us the main chef wasn’t in so food service would be slow and we accepted that. We ordered food and drink however the food came before the drinks but the water we asked for didn’t arrive. When our main course arrived we asked again for some water and again it never arrived but sat on the bar waiting to be brought over. I get it that you were busy and I accept it but we were sat 6 feet away from the bar but never got our water. Pretty rubbish guys really compared to the other restaurants in the town that are equally busy but manage to get the basics right. Food was ok-ish, but under seasoned but don’t they all. I hope you improve as you seem nice people but totally clueless on running a restaurant.

Awful,please don't waste your money. Used to visit regularly as a local but haven't been in the last few years. Staff rude. Food came out minutes after ordering. To give you an idea We were in, out and paid within half 25 minutess even after being ignored at the desk on arrival, the place was virtually empty on a Tuesday evening at 5.30pm. Food microwaved slop, had to leave chicken as it qas cold.All but one member of staff in thier own clothes, I wasn't sure who worked there and who didn't. Overheard Staff say not to worry that a walk in had sat on a reserved table as they could turn it over in 20 minutes, and believe me they do! Never again, and we are not fussy eaters.

Went in on Monday the 21st of august at around 8pm with a party of 8. We all ordered everything was okay until my pizza came and i found a very sharp piece of plastic on top of my pizza it was like a piece of plastic cutlery had been snapped in half. It was around 3cm big and white so luckily when i went to eat the pizza i felt it hit my lip otherwise i could have easily have choked. Being 16 however i would have been advantaged of knowing that it shouldn’t have been there however if this plate was given to a child they wouldn’t have known and they probably would’ve swallowed it and choked because it was sharp and could have got lodged anywhere, its disgusting. I told the waitress and she looked at it and took my pizza away then brought me back another one. This pizza was burnt to a crisp underneath as it was rushed. Its not acceptable nothing was done either. No money refunded nothing taken off the bill not even an apology it was a disgrace. After all this we get the bill it comes with a £17 service charge after what had happened its not good enough. Would not recommend, can get a lot bigger portions elsewhere for your money.

Prezzo staff are obviously very demoralised. Prezzo used to be our favoyrite chain. Not any more. Food ok. Atmosphere POOR. Waiter had to be asked again to add extra ice to water. Tables outside had not been cleared and one inside by us despite there being only two other custmers. Awful to look at dirty tables. Food mediocre. Didnt have main item we wanted. Dont waste your time or money!

The food was tasty but not the ingredients that were stated in the menu. The staff were friendly but stressed . Drinks were asked for three times and it was frustrating to see three members of staff drinking behind the bar when we were without. The experience was neither relaxing nor enjoyable due to two young toddlers constantly running up and down the restaurant past our table for well over an hour. We appreciate that it is a family restaurant and the parents had been spoken to by the manager.

Ordered via just eat (2 pastas and a pizza). The restaurant accepted the order. When I arrived to collect, they said they'd run out of pizza dough (!) But also that they couldn't refund me for it via just eat (!!!). The pasta that I had was completely tasteless too. Won't be back.

We arrived on time for a meal to celebrate my birthday. Our food did not arrive at all. After an hour and a half and two polite requests as to when we could expect three bog-standard pizzas, 95 minutes after our arrival we walked out....

Disappointing. When we arrived we had that feeling that we were wearing an invisibility cloak. Eventually someone saw us and we were taken to a table. Food arrived reasonably quickly. Spaghetti carbonara was good. Calzone looked as though two piles of ingredients had been put on the dough but not mixed together - it looked like a pasty with a lump. Nice side salad. Nice iced coffees. Staff seemed more interested in talking with each other. Overall experience could have been so much better.

Food as expected, service exceptionally quick, I had pasta which went cold quickly as not much sauce to help keep hot, and cold plates. Thursday lunchtime, but almost empty. The main issue though being the overwhelming damp musty smell, I had to leave early.
