Cafe Concerto in Kensington and Chelsea

Very good english breakfast ! We have had a good time here ! It was very nice and the service was perfect in center london….

We are from Canada. We went at this cafe an evening. If our memory is good, it was the 16 of october 2024. The deserts were so yummy. The guy who was in charge of the service (we dont have his name) was so nice and so good with the customers. Thank you !

The food is always good at Caffè Concerto. The pasta dish I ordered was really good. We were served by Sharin who did an excellent job being attentive with a light touch.

Our least favorite spot during our London trip. Service was ok, food was not great. Prices were high for what we got and also didn’t match the menu. Wouldn’t come back.

Poorly welcomed at the Covent Garden branch. We asked if the cheesecakes were vegetarian and the waitress went to double check with the other staff/ colleagues. When she came back to us she was positive that the cheesecakes were vegetarian so we ordered 2. Now that we’ve checked the website, we found out it was NOT vegetarian, and had gelatine in it. Therefore, they have spread misinformation and I am VERY disappointed. They have lost a customer!

As regular customers of Caffe Concerto at multiple branches across London, we visited the High St Ken branch on the weekend of the Notting Hill carnival as we wanted to dine in a relaxed setting. Upon arrival, we were taken to our seats and we had about 3 -4 minutes to read the menu, until one of the waiters politely came over and asked if we were ready to order. We also politely stated we needed more time, mentioning we'd need 5 min. But within ONE minute, 3 other waiters/waitresses approached us, within 15-20 seconds apart from each other. The restaurant is small enough for all the waiters/waitresses to hear and see we had already been approached by their colleague yet, every 15-20 seconds, another one approached us asking us if we were ready to order. We appreciate it was a quiet day for them but the unnecessary repeated pressure to order quickly, particularly from the last lady that approached us, with a noticeably negative attitude resulted in our decision to leave immediately and dine elsewhere. While we continue to appreciate the quality of the cuisine and ambiance at other branches, we felt that this branch's service reflected an overly aggressive, fast-food-style approach that detracted from the overall experience. We will continue to dine at other branches but we don't intend of going back to the Kensington one anytime soon.

Incredible food, huge variety of food options and also an amazing desert menu. Highly reccomend the Rose Latte which is a special here!!

Very poor value for money, clearly understaffed. Quality of food is very poor. We will not be visiting again. We had tried once before at the Westfield branch and was again a bad experience.

Prices outrageous - small gnocchi pasta £19.95, tiny Greek Salad £19.95. Cafe latte with very little coffee £4.50 expresso 3.50?service ? 12.5%. £55 - very poor deal . Not recommended

We ordered tea and scones. The scones were brought first and the tea 15 minutes after. We couldn't even cut the scones easily for the jam as they were like rocks! Service is apalling. Not recomendable !

We celebratedmy husbands birthday atcaffe concerto last 12th of June. The food was great, ambience was perfect and the service was excellent. Razvan (forgot his name) I guess was the one who served us and he was outstanding! Great customer service I should say. Well done guys! Keep it up.

Very tourist trap-like place. We came for afternoon tea and the sandwiches were very bland. Was very expensive for small portions, do NOT come here for afternoon tea!!

Had a really nice time here, the young waiter was really lovely. He was very attentive, polite and friendly. However, we did find the other gentlemen were slightly less friendly. Overall though, a stunning place, great food and a nice ambience.

Caffe Concerto is one of my favourite places in London, I have been to its other branches many times for an afternoon tea and lunch, however it was my first time at this branch. The service was extremely slow, we waited around 40 minutes for someone to get out order and after asking for few times. I had to go and ask for my coffee and kids drinks which apparently were left on the counter to be served but forgot about it so it was cold. I didn't receive a proper apology either, the lady stated in a rush that they were short of staff. This place is not cheap at all which I don't mind when my family and I looked after well there and have a nice experience but unfortunately it didn't happen this time. It was disappointing experience which is really a shame.

Great food and excellent services. The staff checked ofnwenhad ant allergies and the chef made an excellent salt beed breakfast. The place was comfortable,warm,and friendly! I highly reccomend this place!

A good place to meet on busy Ken High St, where the tables are not jammed together, allowing a proper conversation. One small omission: it was a day of pouring rain but the place did not have a coat rack. Customers had to drape their wet coats over chairs.

I had a very good experience during my lunch time, all thanks to very friendly waiter, called Razvan. He was so polite and helpful all the time.

I’ve never been a big fan of any Caffe Concertos as they are overpriced. Their food & drinks are nothing special. My friend chose to sit in & we ordered the same cake & tea. The cake was the vegan pistachio cake & quite dry. It was end of the day when we set in. The service by Yuri was great. He even stepped in when his colleague forgot about the tea my friend asked for.

The food was good. We had coffee and cake but the best thing was the service from Yuri. He made our visit seem special. We returned for breakfast the next day.

Always calm and elegant. Raluca and Ravalny service was exceptional. Food is quite good and desertsxare lovely as well.

Service was atrocious! It took 10 mins to get some hot milk ! My family had already finished their drinks by the time it eventually arrived. It was requested three times, and when it did arrive, it was gestured rudely. When I complained at payment time we were then told they were shortstaffed. Well, why not tell us that during service. No excuse it’s just hot milk for a coffee!

Wow, this has got to be the worst breakfast I have ever eaten and I’m not a fussy eater. Where to start! Ordered the overpriced scrambled egg with bacon, arrived with a salad on the side which I found very strange. Scrambled egg freezing cold, tasteless and with egg shell in. I honestly didn’t think you could go wrong with scrambled egg but I actually found this inedible and I was starving hungry hungover so that says a lot. The ‘bacon’ was undercooked and more like ham. Asked to send back due to the egg shell and obviously complained. Was asked if I would like something else so asked for some toast, can’t go wrong with toast either survey? Arrived and was literally like warm bread I couldn’t believe it! And they didn’t even offer this complimentary after the terrible scrambled eggs, we were charged. Nearly £9 for an orange juice and similar price for a late which tasted like warm milk, barely any coffee in it. I think I was so upset by this experience as not only did our whole table not clear a plate due to the terrible food, but it was an absolute fortune for what it was. I wouldn’t return here if you paid me. Gorgeous decor but that’s where it ends the prices and food are absolutely terrible.

Good food with a friendly atmosphere, we were served by Raluca and she was very helpful, welcoming and professional. This place is so great for every occasion and we will definitely come back.

Disappointing visit. Went back to Cafe Concerto after a great prior visit. There was no atmosphere, it was cold in the restaurant. The food was disappointing. Service so so. Overall no great. We won’t be returning to Cafe Concerto.

I was really looking forward to my only full English breakfast of my UK trip…. Sadly it was cold and disgusting with arrogant service. I didn’t eat most of it because I thought it would make me sick… it was brought to me pretty quickly so I’m guessing it had been sitting around for a while rather than freshly cooked. Though the toast was fresh as it was brought to me at the end of the meal. They added a service charge to my bill and only handed me the receipt showing the extra charges when I had paid. Also they were debating if there milk was off or not whilst I was paying. Nice furniture but really crap….

Service was slow nit much of an atmosphere afternoon tea was very nice once I got my pot of tea which was sitting on the counter for around 10 minutes after the sandwiches had arrived. Twice I had to ask for it

Came here for cakes and coffee in December 2023. Elegant decor within the restaurant, let down by poor service from the waiting staff. We ordered two cakes and two teas and were sat near the front of the cafe. One of our cake slices (strawberry gateau) was left out unattended for nearly 15 minutes and, in the end, we changed our order to another cake slice. There was also a mix-up with the two teas that we were served.

The food was very good and reasonably priced. Fun atmosphere. Very pretty inside. Enjoyed “afternoon tea” special very much. Great desserts!

Food arrived quickly and was fine. However although the restaurant was not busy service was inattentive. For example we had to ask for the menu again to order desserts. No one came to take our order so we decided to leave. We then had to ask for the bill twice.

We are for the first time in London from Germany and we like the service very much… For a great tip order the gingerbread hot chocolate ☕️…. it’s fantastic!!!

Lovely ambience and delicious mulled wine served by sweet Mohammed. I am a regular at Caffè Concerto on Kensington High Street. They have good customer service as well tasty food at reasonable prices. The place looks so pretty adorned by pink flowers and the chairs are so comfy!

We came back here for a dessert after an Iranian meal round the corner. The hot chocolates were good but all the cakes we wanted were out of stock. Cakes are ok but very expensive. The service was ok but we had to ask again for water. Very overpriced.

The venue was decorated extremely well and the customer service was excellent. I thought the afternoon tea was slightly overpriced especially given the venue's infestation of fruit flies. These flies crawled over our scones and sweet treats - once replaced we had to eat very quickly. We were constantly batting away flies during our 2hr session which was very annoying and we were not the only table to experience this.

Terrible service - rude staff - single measures served when ordered doubles - AVOID. Ended up walking out after being shouted at by a waiter who insisted I’d been served a double even though the bartender said she’d only poured a single!!

We booked at this outlet due to having a voucher for an afternoon tea as an anniversary gift. On arrival the manager advised that he was not sure he would be able to redeem it as he was not familiar with it. We waited over 20 mins whilst he made various phone calls and then advised that he would honour the voucher redemption. If cafe concerto are going to make vouchers available via third parties then please ensure outlets know about them to save any customer embarrassment

After waiting quite a while for service I asked what was the Soup de jour - waiter said 'I dont know' and walked off - came back after a couple of minutes and asked 'do you want me to find out'??? I never did find...

Very disappointing experience sadly. Although the place was mostly empty, service was quite slow and not terribly attentive. The cheese from the ham and cheese toasted ciabatta was not even melted, so clearly not toasted. The fries were cold. The drinks came after the food....

Not sure if you receive different offerings if you use a Voucher or not, but for Afternoon Tea for Two (as in our case) I would have been incredibly disappointed with our food had we been paying the price of £62.95 as per the menu. The sandwiches were squashed down, with part of the crusts cut off but not entirely so and only cut into two (made from 2 slices of bread); not delicate and small as for many other Afternoon Tea's that I have experienced. The scones with jam & cream were lovely but could have had more jam & cream (but probably healthier not to have anyway). The cakes on the top layer looked beautiful. I'm sure for those cakes lovers, they would score highly. The tea was fine but served straight away before any food had arrived; personally I would prefer this with the food.

Beautiful restaurant opposite Harrods . Food was delicious . Sea food risotto was so good with king prawns and seafood was generous . Ambience was good. Classy fancy restaurant . Waiters a bit too busy and forgetful but eventually you get what you need ....

The food was great but the Service really ruined our evening. We had to get up from our table twice to get our orders taken. We’d have understood if it was busy but there were only few tables there. The manager did not seem fair at all while approaching tables!

Ordered the luxury creme set and the coffee was really good. The scones were great too but I did not like the cakes so much as they were too sweet for my liking. Service was good. The staff were attentive and they served fast (as compared to the reviews that I read before). What I just did not like the most was the fact that there two fruitflies roaming around our table the entire time and I had to make sure they weren’t touching the food. It was annoying.

Go for Breakfast! Huge portions. Delicious proper and garden breakfasts. Service was great. Be aware they add 12.5% to the bill for a service charge so don’t over tip.

Again cafe concerto, l love it. l came with my brother to have a cup of Jasmine green tea... it was marvelous, the smell was so nice. The guy named Saboor, was polite, kind and hospitable. Concerto is my favourite place. Thank you Concerto.
