Service was impeccable from start to finish. Nice wine and overall good Italian food. The only thing I would say is that I would have liked a richer taste to the lobster spaghetti. Would definitely recommend for special occasions.

Scalini is an absolutely luxurious restaurant with an elegant atmosphere. The food is incredibly delicious, with every dish prepared to perfection. The vibes are simply amazing—warm, lively, and truly welcoming. My experience was beyond excellent, making it my top favorite Italian restaurant in London. Highly recommended!

The food is amazing lasagna is yumm. The pasta is yummm and the futtichine is yumm all flavors are amazing , the burrata was fresh and cold I love it and tiramisu is amazing I love it very light love it. The service is very fast staff are friendly but it is bit noisy.

Everything was beautiful. Even when you enter the shop from outside, you feel warm inside. The atmosphere inside is wonderful. Everyone who deals with you is very friendly and polite. Everything we ate was delicious. Thank you.

One of my favourite restaurants in London by far.

Absolutely amazing food, great staff. Cannot find a fault with the food BUT, they need to revise their lighting. Currently it is hospital white and its very uninviting, this can be easily solved with those rechargeable lights you can put on the tables, makes everyone look nicer even the food, and makes the place sexier in general for punters.

Atmosphere and staffs are really authentic Italian!!

The food was excellent, but I did not like the service. You feel like they are serving you against their will, and this is something I noticed with most visitors, not just me.

Wir bekamen ohne Reservierung einen Tisch gerichtet und wurden freundlichst begrüßt. Die Speisekarte hat uns sehr gut gefallen sodass uns die Auswahl schwer gefallen ist, weil es so viele schöne Sachen gab. Von allem waren wir sehr begeistert, wundervolle Qualität und auch schön anzusehen. Weine exzellent und auch das Dessert, der Espresso war große Klasse! Die Ober haben uns freundlichst umsorgt Preis/ Leistung hat auch gestimmt. Es hat uns so gut gefallen das wir für den nächsten Abend reserviert haben - wir bekamen den gleichen schönen Tisch alles paletti!!!!! Da gehen wir bei unserem nächsten Londonbesuch sicherlich wieder hin.

As usual, cannot go wrong with Scalini if you want to invite someone.

Main dishes are tasty (4.5 if googles allows half point per category), including sea bass (natural and light flavour which I like), sea food pasta (lobster pasta would be v good choice). Passionate and welcoming staff! Quite warm inside but it’s on me :p.

We tried burrata salad, spaghetti red sauce, lasagna and risotto with mushrooms. Everything was so good 👌

They dont allow children in strollers in their restaurant. Location was almost empty. Never experienced something like that before.

We expected more based on recommendations. The lasagna was beautiful but served cold. The pasta dish sounded great, shrimp, mushrooms, asparagus in a cream sauce with mozzarella cheese. It was basically congealed. I wasn’t impressed but a fellow diner liked the taste.

Great Italian restaurant with really friendly staff and an amazing menu. We had the crab tagliolini and ossobuco and they were sublime. Hearty, authentic italian cooking.

The branzino was good, mushroom risotto fairly good. The rest okay.

The varieties are few and the prices are high The food changed when the owner changed And the chef. Unfortunately, he is no longer the old Scalini

Very noisy, terrible food. We were served lobster linguini so spicy that covered the delicate taste of lobster. I could go on but was really a poor experience in a very noisy big room.

too loud atmosphere i could even talk to waiter in a normal voice as he did not hear well & I could not shout. Bread did not taste fresh at all Parmiganno not same It used yo be yummy veal picatta had too muscles , i could not chew easily , i had to return Senior waiter was not happy He judged before listening yo tge Customer! My arugula salad with avocado was nice as i was hungry. Younger staff was more accommodating and relaxed . Disappointing experience. I certainly had better experiences before . in addition they rush you when u reserve to make sure more turn over of Customers , Ofcourse

- Good food, and great friendly staff, with personal touches and accommodations to dietary preferences. - Both the restaurant and the staff are very accommodating to all varieties of personal celebrations. On consecutive days we celebrated a Masters graduation and a family friend birthday. - It was nice celebratory with a “familiar” vibe without disturbance to the general atmosphere of the restaurant.

The quality of the cooking is always of a high standard. The minestrone soup is outstanding The seafood pasta is brimming with crustaceans. Service is faultless and sophisticated. The dining crowd is always lively and exciting to behold. Not a stuffy place but rather a taste of Italy at its best.

This place deserves a higher rating! The service was excellent and the staff were so attentive. The food was beautiful (highly recommend the lasagne) and the atmosphere is classy. Will definitely come back on my next visit to London!

I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. The different types of pasta we tried were really bad, lacking flavor and quality. To make matters worse, our waiter added a tip to the bill without asking for our approval first. This left a negative impression and we won't be returning.

We celebrated a birthday at Scalini last night, and it was fantastic! With a group of four adults and one child, we enjoyed incredibly delicious food in an atmosphere that truly felt like Italy. The Zucchini flowers are not flowers with riccotta just small courgettes for £25 that is a scam- The veal liver with Salvia was over cooked despite specifying a pink very pink cooking ( the only way liver can/ should be served) This dinner was completely a no no - So disapointing! You can not give more than one star for a cooking that is really from a third rate restaurant at exorbitant prices.

Delicious Italian food. Smaller portions so you can eat different dishes. Portions are also fine for children. Friendly staff and pleasant atmosphere with pleasant Italian music in the background. Also worth mentioning: the toilets are very clean and luxurious. Highly recommended if you want to eat well in London (next to Harrods).

The BEST Italian in London. Massimo and singing Nicolas are a joy and make you feel so happy like you have been transported to Italy for the evening. Highly recommend plus delicious food

Had heard mixed reviews about Scalini, but we had a great time catching up with a friend there. The food is Italian homemade perfection and the service is on point, but Mr. Nicola is fantastic! He made our night. The salmon fettucine was the best, but every single dish was cleaned off the plate. The restaurant was quiet at 7pm when we sat down, but was packed by 8.30pm The crowds are mixed, from dates and friendly catchups, to birthday dinners (we had two such celebrations the night we were there). Would highly recommend for the Italian family feeling and for the comfort food.

Scalini is a great Italian restaurant with lovely staff members. food is unreal!! So tasty and wide range menu. You can even order the classic pasta dishes that you desire that isn’t on the menu. World class!!

Great staff and hosts, however they pack the tables so close I felt uncomfortable. And noise level was very high. However my experience was hopefully a one off a I will try again.

Terrible customer service, they were rushing us ans taking our almost full plates off the table multiple times and they were overly charging us for expensive wine without giving us any drink menu. On top of that, the food tasted horrible from the starters to main courses. We ordered lobster starter ans there was only few tiny pieces in there ans the rest was the mayonnaise sauce, the beef starter tasted horrible too and the main course veal steak arrived cold and tasteless, they mentioned that it comes with bolognese spaghetti ans we got charged for that too. There is nothing special about this place at all apart from getting ripped off with the prices. They will speak to you in Italian and confuse you with the order and make yoi order.. in summary, If you want to get scammed FEEL FREE TO COME TO THIS PLACE. 0 stars👎🏼

Excited to test out this restaurant after hearing about it. Start off strong with a good coperto, which was tasty and authentic. The starters were nice but after offering to refill the bread they simply didn’t come. 3 falling forks and knives later the Escaloppe Milanese arrived. I asked for a side - didn’t arrive at the same time - didn’t arrive at all. Obviously on our bill but disappeared into the abyss. In agony we looked up and around to see fake plastic lemons and green leaves stiched onto a wall. Terrific!

The worst experience ever. We paid double the amount of the bill! The day I noticed, his excuse was a mistake, but he returned it at the same time after I politely treated him and I spoke to the manager and did not allow him to complete the fraud. I would be surprised if they saw Arabs making these movements and I only got the money back to me! It is impossible to repeat the experience, there is nothing wrong with it, no food, no service, no place 🤢

A lovely upmarket Italian restaurant in Chelsea with a great busy vibe, good food and service. Nice round tables for family or friends groups making it perfect for a celebration or other occasion.

It was very crowded and they sat us in the centre table and it was a disappointment, but the service was impressive … we ordered ravioli and it was delicious 🤤 also the risotto was to die for but the pasta was not that good really , the vibes gave Italian 🇮🇹 night

Food was better before, front desk ruder than before. They don’t welcome guests nicely not sure the reason for this and they make you want to leave as soon as you enter the door. Shame use to like this place although service seems to get ruder by the minute literally.

Very rude staff. When I refused to pay the 10% service, the waiter told the receptionist to Block me!!!! Honestly, I dont care because I will not visit this resturant again. The pasta was not well cooked pasta and the fish was cold. The machine dont accept international visa to pay!!!! The place was small and the chairs were not comfortable. They don't deserve to pay 10% service and even they don't ask me if the food is good.

Classically Italian and that means delicious. Pricey but not at all unreasonable given the location, portions, quality and service.

Nothing special, staff not very nice, also was put off when we saw waitress serving food with her hair hanging down into the plates of food, her hair should have been tied up! Way nicer italian restaurants in London.

First came here about 20 years ago and have been a return diner on and off since. Living abroad means we have only been there a couple of times in the last two years. We took my family and mother in law there last week and a lot has changed. In short what was a convivial “bon viveur ambience” had sadly changed. Not for me thanks.

Bad experience. The setting doesn’t give a vibe of a nice restaurant in London. Also the table almost broke and is really low quality material. The food tasted bland, Good quantity though but still way overpriced.

Italian food at its best Ultra fresh high quality ingredients - the spaghetti with lobster is mouth watering i had it with olio sauce and so is the spaghetti with parmesan cheese and truffle (after taste can get any better) Pricy but worth the penny Bravo - i shall come again

DISAPPOINTING service, waiter was sarcastic and a bit rude, I would rate the food okay at best - nothing special - and certainly not worth the hefty bill, overpriced for what it was and especially when they didn’t pack all the leftover food as requested more then once Just felt a lack of respect for their customers
