Nice staff, nice restaurant, just quite cramped. We ordered scampi for starter, which was delicious, and pizza for main course. The pizza was good, but very soggy. Otherwise ok.

We were searching Italian cuisine in Paddington and found this restaurant on our last night here. We gave it a shot and we’re glad we did. The staff is friendly, we enjoyed our food and every moment we spent in the restaurant.

Bolognese loaded with salt, olive oil soup at the bottom of the carbonara pasta, and a £4 service charge to finish. Not the best restaurant of our trip.

While visiting this city, we came across this restaurant. Everything was alright. However, the only thing which stunned me was that we had to pay with the service charge included before having our meals.

Altonapoli is one of my usual go-to breakfast spots in Paddington with a delicious mushroom omelette (I’m notoriously known as the mushroom omelette with extra mushrooms guy) and they have authentic Italian coffee which is always great. Top tier service from Sylvia and an all around welcoming atmosphere.

We had pizza and lasagna. The cheese on the pizza was falling off in chunks. The lasagna was also disappointing. Additionally, the waiters kept coming to our table almost every 10 minutes, trying to give us the menu, practically urging us to leave. On top of that, they added a mandatory 12.5% service charge to the bill. I don’t recommend this place.

Restaurant italien agréable. Pizzas et pâtes très bonnes. Service rapide... voire trop ! Vous commandez et payez depuis votre téléphone. Du coup, si vous commandez les desserts au début, ils arrivent en même temps que le plat. La glace à le temps d'être fondue ! Comme quoi, rien ne remplace un vrai service, humain et attentif.

Very disappointing for what looks like an attractive chain Italian near Paddington. They’re usually a safe bet. Caesar salad was the worst I’ve ever had, only a rabbit would enjoy it, just a bowl of leaves chucked together. The other dishes weren’t great either, even the lasagne was no better than a supermarket ready meal. Our dishes arrived piecemeal, not together, and we had to chase as they were taking so long. It was mid afternoon and not very busy. This restaurant has a curtain around the front door but every time the door opened the temperature dropped considerably. There are other pubs, cafes and restaurants in the area which are much better.

I had an amazing experience here, the food was really delicious and the staff were lovely. I would definitely recommend coming here and I would come back again.

The food was very delicious, prompt service, the place was a bit busy but definitely worth stopping if you are in the area.

We reserved for Saturday evening and asked for a quiet table, which we got. Pasta was wonderful as was Hency from India, our waitress. Very helpful and welcoming. Good place to visit with nice food and staff. Would recommend!!

Although owner did not acknowledge our booking, he was welcoming and got us a nice table that was more towards the bar so it was warm and cozy. Service was good overall, but I deducted a couple of stars for reason that despite 12.5% service charge automatically added already, they still suggest you to add another 10% or more on their PDQ a they hand it to you. Food was average, chicken milanese was very dry, luckily being served with spaghetti pomodore added some sauce to it. It's a decent restaurant overall and I would still recommend passing tourists to give it a try. Keep your expectations average.

We were looking for a good meal but a simple evening as we were still adjusting to the local time. Our waitress was very pleasant and the restaurant was pleasantly quiet. The food was fresh and well prepared. The price was very reasonable especially for the quality of the food.

My 13-year-old daughter and I visited this Italian restaurant during our trip to the UK, and it quickly became our favorite spot. The first time we dined here, my daughter loved the food so much that she insisted we return. To our surprise, the staff remembered us on our second visit and even offered my daughter a free ice cream! When I tried to leave a tip, they kindly refused. On our last day, we went back one more time, and once again, they greeted us warmly and treated my daughter to a complimentary ice cream. Their genuine kindness and hospitality made our trip extra special. I’m incredibly grateful for the wonderful memories they helped create for my daughter. We’ll never forget their warmth and generosity, and we highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a heartfelt dining experience.

Good food, good wine, good atmosphere

Sylvia was a wonderful server - she even helped us when our tired child was having a hard time. The gluten free pizza was excellent and so were the Eggs Benedict.

The pizza was quite good. The ambience was ok. I think that a more dimmed light would be better. The restaurant did not have my reservation when I got there but we were lucky that it was empty. When I spoke to the waitress regarding my reservation she pretended not to understand. When I spoke with the owner I didn’t understand what he said fully but he said something like they were not using TheFork.

Stumbled upon this restaurant as we are staying at a hotel around the corner. Authentic Italian food - tried the margharita pizza, aglio e olio pasta, genovese pasta and mushroom risotto. Every dish was flavorful and on point. Great place and will definitely visit next time I’m in London.

The food was amazing…so much so that we ate here three different nights. The staff were friendly, attentive and appreciative. The mushroom and chicken risotto was perfect, and they served the best tiramisu I have ever tasted. You won’t find a better meal in London.

Apparently the reservation didn't work out. Lots of people came and there was no room. We were right by the entrance, the people waiting were right next to us. The waiters were very hectic and unfriendly. The food: Lasagne was sticky, the pizza wasn't as ordered, pasta pesto was OK. If you want to eat something quickly, you can go for it, but it's not good for a cozy evening.

Fizemos a reserva aqui pelo app e até então tudo certinho e confirmado. Ao chegar, o local estava lotado, mal dava para caminhar entre as mesas, mas nós deixaram na porta esperando por quase meia hora, e não nos atendiam, eu chamava pelo atendente e ele nos ignorava. Continuei aguardando pois era dia 31 e obviamente qualquer lugar que eu iria estaria lotado, mas ali eu tinha uma reserva feita com muita antecedência. Quando vi uma mesa sendo disponibilizada, corri e me sentei, mesmo não tendo sido atendida, o atendente não gostou muito, mas fiz valer os meus direitos. Apesar disso, a comida era boa e os preços compatíveis.

A warm welcome and excellent service, delicious garlic bread and fish course made a great end to a day in London.

Whenever I see a five star review, I’m always a little suspicious, but Antinapoli has the goods!! Started with the AMAZING garlic bread and then had the best Italian food we have ever had. The chef himself was our waiter and he was so fun and charming! Can’t wait to come back!

The truffle pizza and the lasagna were amazing! The atmosphere was so alive and fun; there was great music playing while we ate. Had a great night with lovely service. The interior is also very cute and clean.

Booking: They allow to make a booking on their website. You turn up they say they dont work with reservations and they treat everyone as walk ins (huh?) Table: sat down, table still with glasses from the previous guests, crumbs. Waited about 10 minutes before someone clear it and clean it. Food: calamari good, pizza good. Service: man at the door makes most of the mess, u have a booking and he says forgrt about tue booking. I ordered a small glass of wine and apparently i got a Large one, when i questioned i was told we gave you a large one and she drank it. I didnt know i should be one checking ...... Never again

Reserveringen waren teveel aangenomen. Buiten heel lang wachten. Grote rij. Mensen achterin drongen voor en er ontstond ruzie. Heel akelig. Eenmaal binnen was Personeel gestrest en Boos op elkaar. Negatieve sfeer was merkbaar. Eten was gewoontjes. Niet om voor terug te komen, maar wel oké. Als genadeklap had 1 van ons 4 een voedselvergiftiging opgelopen. 24u spugen en niet uit bed kunnen komen vanwege buikkramp en plotselinge heftige koorts.

We ordered 2 very good margherita pizzas and the same as those eaten in Italy. The girl who served us was very kind and the pizzas arrived quickly. Nothing to complain about, everything ok😊 The price is a little high but in London we know this to be the case.

Rip-off. Very mediocre breakfast - shocking £48 for two, and the waitress asked for a tip on top of the included service charge. Checking the bill I saw we’d been overpaid for two items - only a couple of quid, but it shows you their attitude.

The slot for our table was extremely small. There was no room to sit comfortably. We expected an italian restaurant, but there was no italian feeling, the food was only mediocre. Would not visit again.

The decoration is modern and the room is calm. The service is impeccable. The menu offers a wide choice of Italian dishes and I recommend the homemade tiramisu. I just have one caveat on the quality of the Chardonnay.

Would not rate this place it definelty did not give the Italian atmosphere. Waitress seemed rude and pushy always in our personal space. food seemed like it was just heated up not cooked from scratch and not cooked all the way through, edible to a certain standard but tasteless. Disappointing. Atmosphere put us off especially the one waitress who seemed to walk past us every 2 seconds and stare repeatedly while we were there for our short meal. Bit pricey as extra service charge knocked this place further.
