Bella Italia Cranbourn Street in City of London, Westminster

We had a very poor experience at Bella Italia in Leicester Square. There were no avaialble indoor seats, so we took a table outside (which was ok initially). We had to chase the service staff to take our order, as we waited a long time for this, and it was cold, due to the outdoor heating not working. When the food finally came, we found a use by date sticker on the bottom of our daughters pizza base - this indicated it was 4 days older than the date. I complained and they replaced it. After another wait of course. Then my wife went to use the female toilets, but they were a disgrace, with the sanitary towels bin overflowing with used feminine products. We also point this out, they said they couldn't do anything about it because outsiders clean the toilets and they weren't available over Christmas. The only consilation was that they didn't charge us for the meals because of all of the above. This is the worst dining experience I have had, and I will not take my family here for a meal again.

Food was bland, lacking in taste. I can tell that the mushroom was natural but the food didn't have enough flavor or contrast of flavor. The service was good, and they accommodated us, party of two

Food and staff were great, but the service itself felt very rushed. Our table for two was small, so felt very crammed by the time all food and drinks had come. Nice pre Christmas treat though and the food was yummy 😋

I was served by a very kind and attentive woman named Roxy, the food was very good but it was a little expensive. I would return without a doubt, I love this place. You have to come here to eat.

The food took ages to arrive, and when it finally did, the risotto was like soup. I ordered a dessert, but they got it wrong, and it took ages to correct the mistake. Frustrated, I gave up, paid the bill, and left. The waiter upstairs was clearly stressed from dealing with so many complaints, God bless him

I recently went to the Bella Italia in Leicester Square ( Cranbourne Street ) . I had originally booked but when calling to confirm on the day, we were told they couldn’t find the booking . However I was so surprised how Aga put me at ease and accommodated our party of 14 ! Aga and Roxy went out there was to ensure we were looked after including moving some of us away from the sharp sun . Although inconvenient and not their fault, they still offered us alternatives and made many suggestions. I can’t thank them enough for being so patient and providing an amazing service . Just goes to show that if both parties remain calm , then a solution can always be provided . An awesome example of great customer service . Thank you ladies , we will most definitely return !

Food was decent yet they charged a 12% service charge onto my bill that I later realised wasn't mandatory. It says in the small print optional. Very miss leading for expensive food anyway I would have certainly not payed it.

We ordered a calzone and a pizza - the food was just average, I think that when it comes to pizza for £12, next time I would definitely choose a pizza hut or another chain, because the level is the same. An alcoholic mojito is actually melted ice with a light aroma of lime and mint, at this price I definitely do not recommend it. Additionally, the cleanliness of the place leaves much to be desired - whether it be the toilets or dried remains on the cutlery. When we asked to pay the bill, we only received the receipt and only the second waitress we asked for the terminal brought it to us so that we could pay. The layout in the restaurant itself is also really bad, but that's the least of the problems. Overall - I wouldn't come back again.

Was able to come in without a reservation before an evening show which was nice. Had eaten at a different Bella Italia previously on this trip, and the food was just as tasty. Seating upstairs was nice work a view of Leicester Square. Service was a little slow but we made it in time for our show. Food was quite tasty. Overall very pleased with the meal.

Llegamos sin reserva, pero nos dijeron que podrían sentarnos dentro de una media hora, lo que hicieron. Lamentablemente eso fue tan bueno como se puso. Una vez sentados, tuvimos que esperar siglos para cualquier servicio, intentando frecuentemente, generalmente sin éxito, coger un servidor, ya sea para bebidas comida o cualquier cosa. La comida era extremadamente lenta y cuando nuestro hijo pidió una pizza grande para niños, obtuvo una pequeña. Se lo comió ya que tenía mucha hambre debido a la espera. Pero se cobró una gran cantidad. Consultamos la factura y argumentaron que teníamos lo que estaba en la orden pero finalmente reducimos la factura. Nos dimos cuenta de otros allí que tenían theare boletos y estaban preocupados de que no lo harían tal fue el tiempo que se tomó para pedir y ser servido. ¡Tristemente bajamos cuesta abajo desde hace unos años!

Had a lovely meal here before seeing the Mousetrap. We hadn't booked a table but still managed to get one. Service was really quick, and there's an excellent menu with something for everyone, including vegetarians and vegans. I had a veggie calzone, and it was probably the best one I've had. Packed full of veg and really well cooked.

Fui por los 3 cursos por £ 23. 95 y estaba muy contento con mi entrante (setas) y pizza. Lamentablemente el tiramisú, que realmente esperaba con ansias, dado que era un restaurante italiano, era horrible, rozando lo no comestible. Lo que arruinó mi experiencia fue cuando llegó la factura - no eran 23 libras. 95 , ¡Eran 30 libras! El camarero explicó que los 3 platos no eran 23. 95, pero 25 libras. 95 - los menús eran un poco anticuados! Había un cargo por servicio encima que había aumentado el total. Revisé varios Bella Italias después y todos sus anuncios y menús tienen la misma oferta. No pude comprobar lo que realmente estaban cobrando, ya que el de Shaftesbury Square insistió en que estaban llenos y no podía apretarme - a pesar de que había varias mesas vacías cuando pregunté y las mismas mesas estaban vacías 40 minutos después cuando volví. Una experiencia muy decepcionante en general.

What a fantastic evening at Bella i in Cranbourn St.. The food was delicious and the staff were fantastic… they were knowledgable, fun, charming and whilst really busy, they were super attentive . A film premier was taking place outside in Leicester Square so it was buzzing and people were coming in trying to get a table. … the staff could not have been more helpful…a huge thank you to Jolanta, Roni and Pawel..👍

Visité este restaurante el domingo, 10 / 11 / 24. Todo estaba bien. Nos sentamos en nuestro asiento y nos preguntaron por una bebida, y nuestro pedido, la camarera, estaba ocupado, y había otro miembro del personal, posiblemente a cargo. Pensé en preguntar por mi tarjeta de sabor que me da 2 por 1 comida, se lo mostré a la responsable, y ella dijo abruptamente que esto es Cranbourn, no Irving Street. Luego me alejé rápidamente, volví a revisar mi tarjeta de sabor y encontré a Cranbourn, esperé a que volviera a pasar. Le dije: "Disculpe y ella respondió que sí en un minuto, señor. Nunca me habían hablado así antes de que me pareciera tan grosero. Tuve que irme. Definitivamente no volveré a usar este restaurante de nuevo. O cualquier otra bella italia. También noté que rechazaron a 6 personas a pesar de que arriba estaba vacío. Y el restaurante no estaba lleno.

Extremely slow service. Not advised prior to sitting down of things not available on the menu. 2 pizzas and a kids meal. Doughballs took over an hour to arrive. Asked numerous time on an update on food and staff were not interested. Tasty food ruined by lack of care from all staff.they knocked 20% off the bill but still ruined a great day we had had. Would not recommend this branch to eat at.

I recently dined at Bella Italian in Leicester Square, and unfortunately, it was one of the worst dining experiences I've had in a long time. The service was incredibly disappointing. The staff were rude and seemed more interested in chatting with each other than attending to customers. It took ages for someone to even acknowledge us, and when they finally did, they acted as if they were doing us a favor. When the food arrived, it was shockingly small for the price we paid. The portions were tiny, and it felt like they were cutting corners everywhere they could. I left the restaurant still hungry, which is not what you'd expect when paying London prices. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend Bella Italian in Leicester Square. With so many great places to eat in the area, you’re better off spending your money somewhere that actually values its customers.

Rubbish food order 2 pizzas and I can say that the doll was not even cooked …too much noises and I’ve been ignoring by waitress few times and was even busy….one off the waitress seat down…drinking coffee and talking to the phone and when I was asking if we can order she didn’t look at us….I’ll never come on non off Bella Italia restaurants….if was zero star to give I’ll give …..

The atmosphere in general is great and comfortable

Thinking of finding the warmth of an Italian restaurant, we encountered the coldness of waitresses who did not treat us coldly. Food is justice. Everything goes better with a smile.
