Pretty italian restaurant in the city centre of London (at Leicester Square). The pasta was very tasty however it could have been spiced a little bit more. The waiter (Pawel was responsible for our table) was nice and attentive. We recommend choosing this restaurant during a stroll through the city and would come here again.

The pasta was not bad but the lasagna part is ridiculous, I don't recommend it. Quite expensive for what you eat.

Probably the worse carbonara I had ever had to date. I’m a good cook and I can literally make a pasta in minutes. It’s the easiest and quickest to make. But his place don’t cook it when you order. It tasted like it was put in a microwave. Seriously guys, about £15 for a small plate of carbonara like this is an absolute ripe off!!!! At least have the decency to cook it fresh and properly. Mine was undercooked and the meat in it will likely get me sick later.i complained in a polite way as I believe constructive criticisms is essential and the couple sitting near me heard me and said their pasta was bland and disgusting as well. I was whispering but she must have heard me talking to the waitress which was not my intention but it’s a small place By the way the seating near the gents toilet has a dead spider on the wall and filthy. Please have the decency to clean the place a bit as well. The walls need a paint job. The last time I visit this place. If that’s customer experience I’d hate to see your kitchen. Pizza and pasta are literally the easiest things you can cook. Also the most profitable as just flour with a few extras. I was expecting a lot more from this chain. No idea how you are still in business. Even Jamie Oliver can do it and he’s no chef and closes the majority of his places down once the public discovered the guy can’t cook either. This area has many tourists and his is likely why you guys are being lazy. Please get your act together and hire people that can actually cook a simple dish that takes minutes for an average person to prepare. Unacceptable.

The atmosphere was terrible, and the waiter was also a very careful repellent. I found a cockroach on the floor, a disastrous and disgusting experience. I wouldn't repeat it in my life.

They had offered us a good review of the restaurant in exchange for a free drink per head, and we accepted. We just finished eating and I had to change the review because the treatment they had with us was shameful, since they knew that we did not speak the language and thus deceived us with the final price of the food. They have charged us 10-15 pounds for the service and in my case 12 pounds for the cooking. In the end, all that money that they haven't gotten from drinking has been taken from somewhere else. Shameful.

The service is rubbish so they do it for you and when you ask for the bill they charge you between 10-15 pounds for the service which costs you more for the service than the food, be careful because when you enter they will ask you to give it 5 stars and This way they don't charge you for the drink. LIE THE DRINK IS INCLUDED IN THE SERVICE.

Very nice place, food is absolutely brilliant.

This restaurant serves pasta and pizza with mediocre flavors at prices that do not match the overall dining experience. The pomodoro pasta I ordered lacked any distinctive flavor and could easily be replicated at home for a fraction of the cost. Overall, it's an overhyped chain establishment that fails to meet expectations. I would not recommend it at all.

First of all, the food is regrettable, if you are looking for an Italian, don't go to this one. The food is amazing, the only thing worth it are the desserts. The attention, well, rather, there is no customer service, rude and with little desire to work.

Had a wonderful time at this Bella Italia ! Food was amazing and was made to feel very welcomed and looked after by my waiter Roni ! gave a wonderful dish recommendation and overall service. Would highly recommend this spot.

I had chilli prawn for starters.y daughter had garlic dough balls I had a seafood pizza my daughter had a ham chicken & mushroom pizza. My daughter had 2 of my prawns from my starter order. We both had severe diarrhoea. When phoning the restaurant to complain they ask you to repeat yourself 4 times

Roni is lovely and makes your experience even better. It is the second Bella Italia we have been to in London and this chef is also much better (they are franchises and not all are the same). Highly recommended.

I would rate it with 0 if I could. The waiter and the manager, the blonde girl with pumped lips, were super rude. Forced us to have food although I am a regular customer and usually come every day for drinks only . When I agreed to order some nibbles they mentioned they don t have them so was forced to pay for something I didn t even wanted .

Stopped in on a Monday night for a quick bite to eat. Baba was our waiter he was very attentive and noticed it was my wives 40th birthday he prepared a dessert with a happy birthday candle and even sang for her.He then produced a round of shots for the 2 of us. Really lovely guy and great service

Went here tonight and we were extremely disappointed. The man who served us was lovely but the food was horrid. I got pollo funghi pasta and my partner got a pepperoni pizza, my pasta tasted honestly rotten I had to stop eating it because it was starting to make me feel sick. It tasted like nothing, but horrible at the same time almost like the sauce was made from a powder packet that you microwave with water and there was VERY little chicken in it to the point it may aswell have just been mushroom pasta. The pepperoni pizza tasted like it was just a frozen cheap pizza rather than an authentic Italian pizza, we did overhear a waitress telling people looking to get food that if they wanted pizza it would be an hour wait so we don’t know if possibly there was an issue and we didn’t get their usual pizza. Really disappointing as we were expecting great things as it is a lovely looking restaurant and the staff were lovely too.

The food was good. The service was adequate but the places was the pits. Scruffy, peeling decor. Cramped, tatty furniture. Grim loos. We have eaten in Bella Italia from Inverness to Cheltenham and a dozen others in between but on the edge of Leicester Square this should be a flagship restaurant; it is appalling. To be fair, upstairs was a tad better but the staff don’t want to go upstairs so they cram as many as possible downstairs that you are touching elbows with customers the other side of the aisle and having to put stuff on the (not very clean) floor to have room for the food on the tiny table. This was really well below par for a chain we often use as the ‘safe option’.

We usually get better from Bella Italia, so we’re disappointed when this Restaurant which was well below standard. Firstly the decor of the place downstairs was tired, and needed redone. The fact that they are scraping plates right next to you and throwing bottles in a bin is very irritating. Yes the place is small, but that needs rethought. Some of the food was tasteless, and not of their usual standard. The staff were pleasant and the service was reasonably efficient. i’ll not be back.

Put outside away from heater, food got cold and waiter was exceptionally rude when we declined to pay the optional service charge due to poor service and food that become inedible just to the freezing cold temperature outside as we were away from the heater. He interrogated us as to why we didn't want to pay it and then left without saying anything and didn't bother to get a reciept.

The pizza here is amazing the dough is amazing and plenty of toppings. My partner had a pasta and loved it creamy with plenty of mushrooms. Definitely come here.

+ Staff all very friendly, helpful and polite + Lasagna was nice - Carbonara looked and tasted bland. “I’d rather a ready meal” - Bacon in it was burned and whole dish lacked any flavour - Floor in toilets had several puddles of pee, so deep, they actually rippled when I accidentally stood in it. - Way too expensive for what it was. Considering we could see them washing the dishes a few feet away and the food was mediocre, £16 each felt way too much.

Agata was so lovely - we had a wonderful lunch in the winter sun, and we were looked after so well. Can't fault this place and Agata was amazing. Thanks so much we'll be back!

I had high expectations for this restaurant, but I was extremely disappointed. After waiting 45 minutes for a pizza the pizza came hardly without any toppings and was almost impossible to cut through with a knife. The worst pizza I have ever had. Will never go back.
