Just been served by Tara, excellent customer service!!

To avoid . Sandwich ordered at the terminal, I thought I was eating a good fresh sandwich. In fact it is already prepared and placed in the fridges. The bottom of the sandwich bun is wet. I report it to the cashier but she can't do anything about it. So I only ate the top of the bread. I will not come back to eat here Very disapointed And no toilet either.

Great example of this small chain. This shop in particular has greatly improved recently and I love coming here now.

Every morning I try to go there before work. I go there at there opening time 7:00 and it is never open until 7:15 making me late for work and making me stand outside in the cold.

Tasty and hot no-frills pasta aimed at on-the-go and for ease and convenience in the heart of corporate East End, but I found their portion sizes and their meat distribution to be questionable (only received about 5 meatballs in my pasta bowl as shown). I liked the sauce, flavours and the freshness but cannot recommend them this time sadly.

Arrived before 3. Door open. Food on the shelves. Suddenly had staff shouting we’re closed. Ok well close your front door and stop shouting so I can ask if it’s ok to buy take away. Rude. Walked straight out.

The whole concept of the place was amazing considering i spent 1 hour walking up and down the area looking for food to satisfy my big appetite. Food was great i ordered the meatball pancheta pasta but i wish i tried the ragu 12 hour. Everything was awesome just wasn't that peaceful as the manager who was calling the order names out would scream to the top of her lungs if they weren't responded immediately. Bless them they were so busy amd obviously me being dressed like a builder they weren't aware of a very well seasoned chef amongst them. Ill definitely come back to try that ragu.

Used to be our favourite place to get coffee / breakfast in the area. Recently has gone very downhill since new staff started who act like they don't want to be there / make zero effort, which is reflected in the quality of product.

The new lady who works at the till is very unfriendly and sometimes even rude. They constantly overcharge me and then claim their prices have changed even if they display old prices, no apology or refund provided once they overcharge you.

Long wait time at the lunch rush. The food was ok and the staff were polite

Really really average pasta. I've tried a few of them always end up disappointed. The pancetta baguette is good at breakfast, but would avoid pasta from here, never worth the price. Cheesy garlice bread was also neither cheesy or garlicy.

Had Coco di Mama for the very first time. I went there for lunch as I did not get time to cook the evening before. The food is alright, nothing "wow" about the pasta. My pasta carbonara taste way better. I can teach you if you pay me. The service is fast though.

Rubbish! There’s a pathetic dribble of sauce at the bottom and about half a gram of beef in a bowl of tasteless pasta tubes. Better off getting a £2 microwave meal from Tesco opposite.

Avoid in the morning, 20mins for a porridge

The coffee was ok but I payed for a pump of caramel & couldn’t taste it …the coffee was already almost £5 . The door was open so we were freezing, on top of that they dint have a bathroom available to customers .

Been here twice now and both times the sauce was way too salty and served with well over cooked pasta. Below average and needs improving.

Ordered a carbonara, paid for it, and 5 mins later they say there is no carbonara left. They asked if I could order something else from the menu, from which the only other thing that is priced the same was also sold out. Ordered a Spicy Pollo, which is Italian for Spicy Chicken, and it literally has no chicken pieces in it... It's just a chicken soup with pasta and it's not spicy at all. Not to mention the prices in store are higher than the images on Google maps suggest, so yeah, pretty horrible experience. Don't go here if you're looking for a good pasta for lunch.

We were struggling to find anywhere in the vicinity that offered gluten free options, so was pleased when we saw this place. Despite the fact there were a lot of people queuing, we were served quickly and our food was ready within five minutes. Decent sized portion for the price, and it was tasty too. Can't fault it.

Really nice place, kind of a fast foods pastas. We came at the end of the day so he was out of most meals, yet he was really kind and the food was really nice.

Have been here for breakfast. Coffee is delicious and service is pleasant. Have tried the hot baguette the salmon egg pots and the decadent porridge all of which would recommend. Only place where they lose a star from me is the price. The large coffee size is about the size of a medium in other nearby places. Overall though will return and really like this place.

Decent takeaway coffee (by Aussie standards) one of the best chain coffee places (by English standards). Great that you don’t have to pay extra for soy/oat/hazelnut milk! Good breakfast options and salads which are always fresh and tasty. Good and quick customer service always.

Undercooked chicken salads and overcooked salmon. Eaten here quite a few times but have been put off the non-veg salads off late. I have tried multiple times to give them the benefit of doubt but still no improvement. Coffee is good but won't be ordering food from here again until I hear otherwise.

When the Monument branch gets busy the place decends into chaos. Wait to order, then queue again to collect your coffee. Wait times can be several minutes. Worse still is the surly attitude of some of the staff when under pressure. When my sourdough bacon baguette was served without tomato ketchup I went back to the counter to ask for some. A simple request I thought and I was perfectly pleasant about it. A replacement was thrust into my hand, no apology, no eye contact, nothing. Worse still, it was prepared by one of the cashiers who went directly from the till to the food prep area without washing hands / putting on gloves. I could be wrong but I thought there were food hygene rules about handling cash and then preparing food? After the ketchup request I didn't dare say anything! Too bad. I've routinely used other branches and never had a bad experience, so this review is very much aimed at the Monument branch.

Este es mi lugar ideal para tomar un café por la mañana. El café es genial, he desertado de Starbucks como resultado. Alway disfrutó de la merienda ocasional aquí, un menú bastante diferente de los Prets de este mundo. Siempre he encontrado que el servicio es muy amigable.

Great tasting food, quick and with a nice space to sit

Tasty chicken baguette - good value at £3.50 for chicken. A favourite of mine at lunchtime is the chicken milanese. Only critique is the quality of the baguette which should have been ciabatta instead of french baguette.

I used to love this place and come at least once a week but since about 6 months ago (coincidentally when it was bought by Venture Capital) the portion sizes have dramatically reduced whilst the prices have increased. Today's pasta had barely any sauce. Won't be coming here again, which is a shame. Cutting portion sizes is the one of the quickest ways of losing customers and I cannot understand the business sense in doing so.

Por 3 libras. 50 por un rollo de tocino (desayuno pancetta brioche) esperaba algo medio decente. Me dieron beicon fríos, un panecillo y una cantidad rancio desagradable de mantequilla (manteca y me gusta! ).No he probado el menú de mediodía, pero yo creo que pasa después de la experiencia!

He estado visitando Eastcheap por años. Servicio siempre amable y rápido, aunque la rotación de personal es obviamente alta. Gran plana blanca y amplia gama de excelentes pastas. Love this chain. Quinoa, rocket, chicken, bean and Parmesan salad filling, delicious, healthy, just superb. All their products are worth a try, really good, genuinely differentiated high street food chain. Recommended.

This is NOT an Italian restaurant! Starting with the name, there's nothing called "Coco di mama" the right spell would be "Cocco di mamma". Do you want real Italian food? Then keep looking; there's nothing Italian here.

Me pida comida a Dubai desde mi novia, esperando tener un buen embalaje de presentación, pero era muy terrible. . . Los envases de fruta está bien, la comida es buena, pero no es un buen lugar para sorprender a algunos. Yo fui a Dubai donde pagas 7 libras y el embalaje está en punto y la comida es estupenda. Soy un diseñador gráfico, así que para mí la presentación es la clave en todos los negocios.

He estado en el almuerzo. Pedí el pesto. Comida muy pobre, Sosa, y pollo carbonara no parece italiano (soy Italiana). Si quieres comer algo bueno Italiano, recomiendo más cerca de la estación de Scarpetta Cannon street o ir a Mangio, cerca de la calle de San Pablo.

Probamos el queso azul especial carbonara en la Tienda de la calle Victoria. Tenía un ligero toque de sabor a queso azul, y yo nunca he tenido una carbonara. . No sabe como una carbonara! El fondo de la olla era bañarse en aceite. De lo contrario, la pasta al dente. Debería utilizar la harina para hacer buñuelos de Nepal (Momo). Sin duda no es el Chanel de restaurantes de servicio rápido!

Top fast Italian food. Great for a workday lunch

The pasta was nice but I think you can get better value elsewhere (£4.40 for their small pot of pasta, which is enough for lunch). You can get a lot more for your money if you seek out Assenheims chicken sandwich or a falafel wrap nearby. Quite tasty though, just not particularly memorable!

Lunches are great, breakfast used to be until the scrambled eggs and bacon ciabatta were replaced. The crossaint also had tomato inside but not listed on menu. Head office acknowledged email but didn't respond to points. I recommend Scarpetta in Cannon Street now instead when asked.

Ordered the mushroom pasta. Was very quick to be made - as fresh pasta should be. However, I discovered the sauce had split which didn't give the pasta the nicest texture. The sauce itself was also incredibly rich and became a very sickly towards the end of the pot. The pasta itself was also overcooked.

But it's not my claim. The coffee is OK but won't blow you away. Breakfast baguettes are good and contain Italian bacon and sausage.

Pasta is average. Not bad choice of salads and sandwiches. BUT such a noisy place. All I want is to grab my lunch and escape this hell. Poor hygiene, one of the staff picked rubbish from the floor and returned to till without washing hands. Will look for another place to have pasta.

They have super fast service. Believe me you will take more time in queue or in deciding what you want than they take to make it. I will say it is the best Mexican lunch I had in central London.

A little bit on the pricy side but its still decent value for quantity. I had to slow cooked bolognese which has been good 9/10 times. That one time the cashier forgot to add chilli oil...and secondly they don't speak English very well.

I wanted to give it a try as apparently it has a few shops across the capital and I was not disappointed at all. A nice portion of rigatoni bolognese costs £5 and the pot with the pasta was handed to me less than a minute after I placed my order. There is another 4-5 sauces that I will try in the future (naked chicken pesto, chorizo and chicken etc.) but my first impression of Coco was really positive.

If you are after a simple pasta lunch, this is a good place to try. They normally have the pasta of the day and you get a choice of sauce, all round good value and tasty.
