Really good food and service especially the sebadas. Knocked a star off as the mains were served on cold plates. We really enjoyed it and will go back.

The food was average at best and the pasta was sub standard. Starters were good but the mains were really underwhelming, one of the worst quality to price ratio in London. Service was rude and kept counting the minutes left to our dinner. Highly NOT recommend

Finally after over 30 years I've found an authentic Italian restaurant in London, excellent good quality food, not cheap, but you'll be eating top quality fish, served by friendly, competent staff in a clean and classy environment. I would give them 10 stars if I could!!!! If I had to be picky I would suggest more light. But everything else is perfect. Well done.

We had a delightful night at Olivomare, I'm surprised by a few of the reviews. The food was absolutely delicious - pasta perfectly cooked and seasoned, and large portions of all dishes. Lobster spaghetti is a must, and do try the sardinian apertifs and wine. Service was stellar too - attentive (but not too much), great recommendations, not pushy at all in having us pay or leave.

The best place in the city for Spaghetti Bottarga, and let me tell you, there’s nowhere else quite like it. We tried. The way they prepare this dish is simply unparalleled; the flavors are so rich and authentic that it's like a culinary masterpiece on a plate. Also they have a terrace, where you can escape the hustle and bustle of the city. The atmosphere there is so peaceful; it's quiet and sunny, making it the perfect spot to enjoy a leisurely meal. Sitting there, savoring every bite of that delicious Spaghetti Bottarga, I always feel like I was in my own little paradise. Also next to the restaurant is a small Italian shop with a lot of delicatessen ( you can take away some ready to eat food, or Italian groceries: if you reading this in December, and looking for a good Panetone this is the place)

It was awful!! Terrible customer service, and rude manager. Food was salty and unpleasant and way too overpriced. If you’re reading this you personally I would find a different restaurant.

This is some of the best pasta I have ever eaten and I spend at least two weeks in various cities in Italy every year. One of my favourite things to eat is spaghetti with sea urchin so I came across Olivomare when I did a search for restaurants in London that serve this dish. When we looked at the menu, I was tempted by the pasta with clams and bottarga so decided to order both. So glad that I did. The clams and roe were a revelation. I have been dreaming about it all week! Service and wine also excellent. My husband had the risotto and grilled fish which he also gave two thumbs up!

Super cozy Italian restaurant situated in the heart of London. I really enjoyed the food. I especially loved lobster pasta. Will surely come back next time.

Food is good but was expecting a bit more given price point. Pasta was dry and below standard of what you'd call a good pasta with seafood. 15% service charge is unjustified

High praises! They were kind enough to seat us, although we were 30 minutes late and the kitchen was closing. Even so, the service was perfect, fast and attentive, and the food absolutely delicious. Fresh seafood and a lovely desert. This restaurant is a precious little gem in Victoria.

Food is lovely although it is quite expensive and service is usually slow. Be careful of their deceptive commercial practices, they dare to charge an unadvised service charge on takeaways !

Very well serviced. Food was really good, needless to say the wine. From time to time they have special seafood like sea urchins or razor clams, you won't want to miss it. All are very high quality. Of course don't miss their pasta, they're simple yet so tantalizing. Now they have some summer desserts, I've tried a few, all very nice.

My wife and I had the Monkfish and the Sea Bass paired with Gavi di Gavi white wine. Our meals were excellent. The staff was welcoming and professional. The vibe is upbeat and chic.

Recommendation from a friend. Arrived early, staff welcomed us in,took our coats and granted a table switch when I asked. The ambience is just stunning, nothing over the top,perfectly lit,the right amount of patrons,everyone was perfectly spaced. Food was scrumptious,was our first time having Sardinian Cuisine, tantalizing on the taste buds. Staff were always around and making sure that you were ok or if you needed anything.speed of service was perfect.never felt rushed at all. Thanks again and looking forward to our next visit.

This visit left us a little disappointed. The food was very good apart from the octopus starter,it wasn't as tender as expected.The service was painfully slow. We sat at 12:45 and waited and waited and waited for our starters to arrive.The quality of the ingredients was excellent and ,when the food arrived,it was very well presented. I asked if the main could be delivered a little faster, please, but again, we waited and waited. Tagliolini all'astice were tasty but arrived cold at the table,terrible pity. The fish soup was very tasty and the grilled fish was also deliciuos.We left at 3:15, which is definitely not we had planned for the day .No explanation was offered about the delay, and no action was taken to apologise for the waiting. Enjoyed the food, but a real off-putting experience,sorry to say.

The best hand made pasta I had in London

Amazing restaurant! We will definitely be coming back! The atmosphere is lovely, service is top notch and the food is delicious. All the waiters were really friendly and happy to chat or explain something if needed. We had seafood carpaccio, pasta with clams and bottarga and prawn risotto - everything was quite tasty. There was a good selection of Italian wines and there were several ones that had 0.5l bottles.

Exceptional place from staff to food. Everything so tasty and, as Sardinian my self, nice to find the Sebadas as dessert. Special mention to the lady manager, top notch professional and impeccable customer service. Very nice dinner.

Best Italian in london hands down

Great service super nice decor. 100% recommend the spaghetti all’astice (lobster pasta) I have been a few times and have yet to find better pasta than that anywhere. The tiramisu is also one to go for always. A very enjoyable experience

We had a great experience in olivomare. We had the burrata, octopus, the gnocchi, wine and tiramisu and everything was delicious. Our waiter was Leo and he was so kind to us and he made really good recommendations. We had a wonderful dinner, is a must during your stay in London if you like Italian food. High food quality👌

The ambiance in the restaurant was great, the service was also very good. Our starter and main were both amazing. Very fresh ingredients and great wine pairing. The tiramisu on the other was a bit mediocre. In our opinion the ladyfingers were a bit tasteless Overall the experience was great, a good place to taste Sicilian cuisine

Absolutely stunning food. Their linguine with crab tastes just as good today as it did the first time I ever tasted it in 2005! Highly recommend this beautiful restaurant with an extensive menu of beautiful pescitarean dishes. The seabass cevice to start with, was also incredible! And tiramisu, was to die for...

Amazing Sardinian food, very special flavours, good house wine. The children in our group appreciated it less and we had no time for desserts, so I will be definitely coming back again to check if this is actually a 5 star place :) For now I can highly recommend spaghetti alla bottarga and the lobser spaghetti.

A great Sardinian restaurant I went with my amazing sardinian friends whom all gave me the seal of approval. 6 starters, 6 mains, 4 desserts later - I can happily say the 4 of us where very pleased and would 100% go again! Hat's off to the waiting staff and chefs!

We had a booking for 8.30pm for three people last Friday on arrival the maitre said our booking was for 7pm and for two people… which was strange and they she rather stubborn about it which was odd they “managed” to find us a table (it was like we were doing them a favour!) The menu was well filled, after starters are daughters main arrived and some 15 minutes laters mine and my wife’s main arrived which was rather annoying and strange.. our waiter forgot the glass of wine we ordered twice and then proceeded to bring the wrong type (red when we ordered white) Not the greatest experience I would have to say, the food was good but not jaw dropping that I would want to return again anytime soon.

Fabulous restaurant with mouthwatering array of Sardinian seafood dishes and Italian classics. The staff are very sweet and I love the quirky decor. A real treat.

Came here yesterday for a meal with my mother, straight from victoria station. The food is truly excellent and we were served by this dark blonde sardinian man who was great. I don’t have a single critique about the place except that the burrata con bottarga is not to be shared, it’s so delicious & simple that you’ll want one just for yourself, served with grated & shaved bottarga which is how the ingredient truly shines. I recommend the perfectly cooked monkfish & the spaghetti all’astice. My mother could not stop talking about the food all day which is not a usual thing nowadays…THANK YOU! :)

The pasta noodle was good, but the sauce was extremely salty that I couldn't finish. Service was very poor, they didn't even ask how the food was.

Food quality was quite bad and average service. Not worth the price!

I’d say that both the service and the food need improvements. The staff were lovely but there is lack of attention. We asked for bread 4 times and waited 15 minutes for it as we wanted to use the bread for the mussels broth, well, when we asked the bread for the last time we have been told that the main course were ready even though we didn’t finish our starter, so we had to send the unfinished starter. I have called in the afternoon before going to the restaurant as we went there just to eat the pasta with lobster and have been told over the phone that the lobster was fresh. Well it wasn’t. When we have received the main course, I knew that something wasn’t quite right. If a customer orders pasta with half lobster please make sure to keep the half lobster meat intact, so that customers know that they have received what they have paid for instead of mixing the meat in the pasta. The amount of lobster meat in the pasta was far less than half of the lobster we supposed to get, all the shells were completely empty, and we felt cheated, so this is disappointing and misleading to begin with. When I had a piece of lobster meat, it was mushy and disintegrated without me chewing it, this is a sign that the lobster either was frozen or was dead from quite some time when it was cooked. When the lobster is fresh the meat texture should firm. Unfortunately for them I’m sort of an expert in hospitality and can spot things very easily. It was very disappointing for us as it was our special occasion. We have researched and called in advance to make sure that it was a real Italian restaurant and that the raw materials were fresh, indeed the staff were Italian and the food too, but the quality of some ingredients were quite poor. On the positive note the mussels starter was delicious (that’s why we wanted to finish the broth with some bread), and the wine was good too. The tiramisu is absolutely overpriced £9.50 and is definitely not made in the traditional way, as it wasn’t made using eggs, and there was just a tiny bit of mascarpone, it was more double cream than anything else. Is a shame because we really hoped to find an proper Italian restaurant with quality products and service. We paid the full bill and the service charge of over £24, but we feel that the food and the service weren’t up to standards however the staff were lovely and welcoming. Overall the food is 2⭐️ out of 5 The service 3⭐️ out of 5 The Price based on the quality of the products and the service is 2⭐️ Renato D. You question the credibility of my review because it doesn’t suits you? Embarrassing. I have been in the industry for years and been development chef too, so I think i know 1 or 2 things about food, standards and service. Your Tiramisu was indeed made with few eggs lots of cream and a touch of Mascarpone! If you say the it comes with half lobster I expect half lobster meat in my pasta and not 1/3! The meat was completely mushy and disintegrated, if you say you cook it fresh the meat will still be quite a nice firm texture, so clearly the lobster wasn’t fresh, most likely frozen! But more importantly give us what we have been told and paid for HALF lobster not 1/3. Regarding the service can be better as customers shouldn’t demand 4 times for extra bread and definitely you shouldn’t take the plates away if we are not finished! Why do you think your serve those delicious mussels with broth? The broth isn’t supposed to be thrown away but to enjoy with the mussels and the bread! You really need to some improvements both in your service and raw materials sourcing as much as your management when it comes to reviews!! Regards

Recentemente ho mangiato una zuppa di moscardini eccezionale e una coda di rospo delicata. La quantità delle porzioni sono equilibrate; i prezzi sono adeguati alla qualità, ma non eccessivi. Its the same menu, the same decor, and the same old reliable quality. I think that this is the best amongst all the other Olivo restaurants in the neighborhood. I would have suggested a menu refresh, but then why change a winning formula. Crab linguine, tuna, lobster spaghetti, squid etc. and the few items on their dessert list - all are very good and worth a visit every now and then.
