We absolutely couldn’t recommend Francos enough! We have been at least twice a month for the past three years and we have never had a bad meal! Everything is made fresh so you can add or remove any ingredients from almost any dish. The whole staff are all absolutely fantastic and couldn’t be more accommodating! The atmosphere is beautifully cozy and welcoming, the perfect amount of intimate without feeling crowded. Brilliant for absolutely any occasion, date night, birthday meal, get together, Francos is the most perfect place. Although having been open for 35 years it speaks for itself🤍

Quality fresh breakfast on a cold day

We had a fantastic experience at The Italian Taste. Celebrated my Dad's 70th birthday and the team did everything they could to make the evening special. Thank you to Kate who was our waitress. She was wonderful ❤️.

Shabba saves this place. We’ve been when he’s not in and it is a disaster! We had red wine in champagne glasses, decaf coffee with no coffee…. Mugs of hot milk. Tonight he’s in and it’s fab again. Impeccable customer service and we got what we wanted (even if you’ve taken calabrese off the menu for no explicable reason). Seriously why is there no way to tip an individual or send messages to management about how good a staff member is because I’m not joking. He is why we go back!

What a find !! This has to be the best Italian food I have EVER tasted, including Italy! If you want amazing food, with a great atmosphere at reasonable prices this is the place to go . Home made puds to die for , worth travelling to x

This is a really fantastic restaurant which we've visited on a number of occasions now. The food is always fabulous - especially the penne alla Adolfo - and Giuseppe is a wonderful host. Can't wait to go back.

Always a favourite! Excellent italian food, amazing attentive service by Jolanta this evening, and beautiful solid authentic interior and decor. I usually have the ragu pasta sauce but went for the seafood pasta with gluten free penne and it didn't disappoint. Other half had pizza with buffalo mozza and nduja ...fresh basil on top. Starter - had the GF DF octopus fennel salad. Not usually keen on octopus but this was so fresh and the dressing was lovely. Quality of food is really good, if you've not been - book a table and see for yourself. *(Would love it even more if they did GF pizza but appreciate that may require a seperate pizza oven....can't have it all lol! ;)

One of my favorite restaurants in London. Excellent food. The staff is all Italian and extremely gracious. The pasta dishes are some of the best I have ever had. The meats are excellent. Entertainers excellent.

This little restaurant used to be very nice and special. Grilled meat is still quite good but prices have risen and the staff despite still being friendly are very slow... no longer using the butcher services either after a couple of disappointing attempts, including where they didn't have even meat we had reserved in advance...

It is not great to see hair in your plate. And the restaurant does not do anything about it. Not even a genuine apology….

Beautiful restaurant with a great atmosphere and extensive menu. The staff were lovely and helpful, food was incredible and the cocktails were fantastic! It’s easily the best restaurant in Carlisle and I’ll definitely be back, can’t recommend it enough!
