Fine Cut Butchers in Southwark

Fun, friendly experience at Fine Cut. Enjoyed the atmosphere and set up inside a butchers. The owner was very welcoming and friendly, explaining the menu (although a new member of staff was confused about how the all you can eat deal worked). We shared the all you can eat Rodizio, which was good value and more than satisfying. The meat was good, although not fantastic quality, and arrived a bit slowly and erratically at first. If you were being cynical, so as to fill you up on sides first. But very good value. Excellent wine at great price and nice cocktails too. Would definitely go back, especially with a group.

Food was nice but we arrive at 16:30 (half hour before our book time so didn’t expect anything until 5). The first bits of food didn’t arrive till 18:00, had to chase the steak multiple times, eventually got that at 18:20 and the rest didn’t turn up. Was no point getting the all you can eat because there was not enough time to actually try what you wanted. Also, the waiters were constantly banging into our chairs when we were sitting down. They did say they had problems with their system, but considering it was a set price, all you can eat venue, it would have been easily rectified by the waiters asking if we wanted anything or chasing things up. Unfortunately , they didn’t, we had to chase them. All a bit of a shambles really.

Tastes just like my mum’s. Legit picanha steaks and delicious sides. Highly recommended!

I had a horrible experience at the place, we didn't have a wide variety of meat as it says in the ad, the meat took a long time to arrive and when it arrived it was all hard and raw, my wife ordered fried chicken which took a long time to arrive and when it arrived she couldn't eat it because the chicken had feathers because it wasn't cleaned well, I don't recommend this place to anyone at all, waste of money and get angry

The food was decent although the waiting time was ridiculous (despite being the only people in the restaurant). No incentive to return.

Food is really good but experience was bad. If you order rodizio it’s not an actual rodizio experience. All the meat comes at once in a huge quantity and if you don’t eat everything you have to pay extra charge 15 pounds per person. And you cannot take it home either so they have to throw away. You either have to eat everything that they put in the table otherwise its going to be a very expensive experience. They didn’t even ask us how we would like the meat or if we want certain quantities of each thing.

Great food and atmosphere, it was a little busy, so service was a little slow, but the food made up for that. Definitely go again with an empty stomach.

Wonderful experience, delicious meat and amazing quality food. My wife had selected skewers with side dishes and I had premium meat, which I recommend only if you are really hungry because there is a lot of food, lots of food, remember that, lots of variety. The owner was very polite and served us very well. I hope you enjoy your experience.

This is a great hidden spot in Bermondsey. I had the ribeye steak, and it was cooked to perfection. I will visit again for the all-you-can-eat menu.

The whole experience massively underwhelmed. Their signature meal is sold as an “all you can eat rodizio” but the food arrived extremely slowly and isn’t a genuine rodizio experience. In theory you can ask for extra items after they deliver the initial food, but we had to beg for extra items and these then took over 45 minutes to arrive (we nearly left due to boredom in the interim waiting period). Sadly, even the food that did come was average (at best) - if you want Brazilian food in London there’s so many better options! Only slight positive was our waitress, who was kind (the opposite of the waiter who ran around the restaurant like a mad man). Try elsewhere if wanting rodizio…

Food can be better. All you can eat at 33 it’s the same as Preto in Shaftersbury. Also they send you a set of things, Service is slow and need training. The Bill with 2 water bottles was around 80. It does not worth … The restaurant was very cold inside .

We were really looking forward to trying this restaurant but it was not as the hype would have you believe. Pressured into having over priced cocktails - that were frankly acidic. Starters were a little haphazard,coming out individually, with a 5 or so minute gap until the next one arrived. I had the prawns, better at half the quantity and half the price please. Mains. Ok I had ribeye, was good, but where was the mustard? Read me

This time we went ( Sunday) the food was hot. I enjoyed it very much. The tortillas need to be cooked a little more. I don't like them white. I enjoyed it very much.

Services are really good apart from a bit of waiting due to another table’s calculation. Food is amazing too. The meats I had were good quality. However, they should be more flexible about the all you can eat. I arrived the restaurant 15 mins before their kitchen closed, but they wouldn’t allow me to take the all you can eat order. Even though I suggested I wouldn’t mind to order everything at once. Instead I had to order a la carte. I am so disappointed. Moreover I booked via google and fork, I did double check with the official website. There was not mentioned about the last order of all you can eat. I know all restaurants close their kitchens an hour before closing time. But I could still make a booking online before that, so I assumed I could order what I wanted when I get there. They should put on the last order time of all you can eat on all the booking websites as well as their official website. I came all the way for that but ended up getting unsatisfied.

The food was very good, but you can't enjoy it because of how cold it is in there, they don't have a good extractor, either you get all the smell of food on your clothes and hair, everything else is fine!

Cozy and family atmosphere. The food is homemade, very tasty and the desserts are divine - I recommend the churros and prestige cakes. The buffet is really worth it because, in addition to the meat, there are side dishes. The perfect place for lovers of good meat! I highly recommend it!

Disappointing Experience I rarely leave negative reviews, but I had such a frustrating experience at this restaurant that I felt compelled to share. My friends and I decided to visit after seeing positive videos on social media, but unfortunately, our visit was far from what we expected. Despite having a reservation for 8:30 pm, we were told upon arrival that the kitchen was closing at 9 pm and they wouldn’t serve us. This crucial information was not mentioned anywhere on the website. When we asked a staff member about this, she responded unprofessionally, stating that she didn’t know because she didn’t create the website. This lack of courtesy and respect was disappointing and completely ruined the experience.

Terrible service, the website does not explain the booking time, we made the reservation and were unable to place any order from the butcher shop. Served by the owner of the establishment and when asked about the website she was super rude and said that she wasn't the one who created the website and didn't want to answer it even though it was 15 minutes before the “barbecue” closed. I advise you not to come

Terrible experience! We had a confirmed reservation, but upon arrival, the restaurant outright refused to serve what was listed on the menu. We were treated with complete disregard and unprofessionalism. A restaurant’s purpose is to serve what is on the menu, especially when a reservation has been made in advance. However, we were completely ignored. I do not recommend this place to anyone who expects respect and good service. Disappointing and an absolute waste of time.

Terrible service. Made a booking with my friends for a special occasion and they refused to serve us. When we got to the restaurant they refused to serve us as the kitchen was closing in 30 minutes however the website did not specify the that even though our booking was for 8.30pm and the table was reserved for two hours the kitchen was closing 9pm and we wouldn’t able to eat at a RESTAURANT. Also, the staff members was extremely rude! Do not recommend!

Service was one of the worst I’ve ever experienced I came to meet some friends and asked for the menu but didn’t received it. The food was subpar and not cooked. The taste was bland and the owner again, was very disrespectful. Do not come here.

This little restaurant used to be very nice and special. Grilled meat is still quite good but prices have risen and the staff despite still being friendly are very slow... no longer using the butcher services either after a couple of disappointing attempts, including where they didn't have even meat we had reserved in advance...

Amazing Brazilian restaurant and steakhouse!! As a Brazilian I have to say that I loved everything at Fine Cut Butchers. The picanha was so juicy, the homemade sausages, the chicken heart and if you are looking to try a bit of everything, the all you can eat options are also a great way to go. Their caipirinhas were outstanding, especially the one with açai. If you are still having some space, I highly recommend trying their desserts, the passion fruit mousse with chocolate, oh my goodness I can’t forget about that! We highly recommend this place!! Thanks for the wonderful service and for having us there.

Really disappointed with this experience! After seeing a well known food vlogger visit this establishment, paired with their (now, slightly suspect) “glowing” reviews, we went in with high expectations. However, most elements fell short by many accounts. The service was painfully slow (as in, it took almost an hour to bring out a single plate of food) which was surprising as the restaurant was not busy. At the point of being seated, they had 2 other tables (of 2) eating in, and it was 6:40pm on a Wednesday night. The majority of the food (of what they managed to remember!) was tasty. Side note - some explanation to what they were serving would have been ideal as all the meat was just plonked on the same plate. However they forgot so many items! For reference, we (3) did the “all you can eat” and asked for everything except for chicken heart and chicken sausage. Therefore, we expected to be flooded with all the different dishes that were otherwise mentioned as 'included'. If I recall correctly, we didn’t receive any cassava, or the beans with egg. We were brought too many of the same meat skewers in contrast to two singular sausages (bear in mind there were 3 different types included and we only asked for no chicken sausage). We had to ask several times (nearly 2 hours into the meal now) for the halloumi, garlic bread, and garlic sauce (which we intended on ordering more than once!) to receive them in dribs and drabs. By this time, we were so fed up of waiting so communally decided to not re-order. This was really disappointing because the garlic bread in particular was exceptionally good! One of the waiters completely misunderstood us (we requested for a third time he bring us garlic sauce - an included item by the way) and instead, brought us 3 lots of rice, salsa and mayo salad. They have a no waste policy (which I totally agree with) but obviously this unwanted array of additional dishes (that ironically, we had already consumed) plus his unbothered attitude negatively tainted our meal. A quick comment on the price point (£32.99pp) as this didn’t feel like great value for money. Yes - if it lived up to its “all you can eat” label then it would have been. With all things considered, I honestly think it would have been cheaper for us to select (a’la carte) everything they (intermittently!) brought instead. All in all, it felt like the team were very inexperienced. There was an obvious lack of care reflected in the slap dash nature that was felt amongst us all. The whole service was disorganised and quite unimpressive. Such a shame!

Half mouth feijoada, it says complete but doesn't come with steak, comes with little mix and little rice, rating 0! I don't recommend Ps: I added a photo of the dish to show “the variety of meats” that didn’t actually come, it’s very far from being a complete and authentic dish, I would be ashamed if I were the owner of the establishment.

My partner and I decided to try this place as we were following the hundreds of positive reviews for this restaurant. However we were met with very average and sad quality of food. We ordered white rice (had a fishy smell) the tropeiro beans (also super fishy not pleasant in the slightest), the mix skewers (2x rump, 2x sausage, 1x chicken wings, 1x bacon & cheese) out of all of those only the wings were best. The rump was bland, the sausage felt undercooked, the bacon cheese thing is literally a brick of cold halloumi wrapped in pale bacon. It was just really sad, an absolute shame as it was meant to be an anniversary meal. Very mediocre wouldn’t rush back.

I was here for lunch. We went for the rodizio. I liked the skewers instead of the big spits as the food. It gives you the option to chose choose exactly what you want and the food is always warm. Choice of beef cuts is not as wide as other places but it is good quality. Costela and picanha are very tasty. Price of the food is in line with the quality, drink prices are a bit high. Service is very friendly and attentive.
