if I am honest there was nothing wrong with the food just the service was the worst I've ever had in my life. They didn't come round to get our used/empty glasses which made the table cramped, and at the end after our meal gave us those crisp things that they usually give to you on arrival. the worst part was the Bill, how can you speak to me so rudely! I went to pay for the meal but the lady serving me started saying 'NEXT TIME TELL ME ABOUT YOUR ZIZZI'S APP BEFORE I BRING YOU THE BILL!' there will 100% not be a next time. she should've asked us if we had the zizzi's app like what they've done at every other zizzi's I've been to. (I WOULD RECOMMEND GOING TO THE PIZZA EXPRESS A FEW RESTAURANTS DOWN AND YOU'LL STILL GET A BETTER VIEW OF THE THAMES AND ACTUALLY HAVE GOOD SERVICE AND FOOD.

Really very expensive for a pizza with very little toppings on it. To really avoid...The framework is not everything, customer satisfaction must be your priority and you are clearly not there...

Spagbol was bland and barely a portion Was 18 pound. Surely can afford some sauce and meat. Honestly had better packet meals. Was my first Zizzi, not sure I would bother again after that although everyone else had nice looking meals. Saving grace was the 25 off for first visit bring it to nearly 30 quid without starters.

Decided to come here for a birthday celebration as I have had great experiences in the past but the staff couldn’t manage the tables, not that busy either. We waited around 50 minutes for our food, could not get anyones attention and they got our order wrong too, was given a pizza on the house to apologise but I am really disappointed as someone who has been choosing Zizzis for years, the bruschetta was disappointing.

So I'm currently sitting in here - it's been well over 30 minutes, and our waitress has yet to take our order. If I were alone I would have left long ago. When we entered the waitress rushed us to order before we had a chance to look at the menu, so we asked for a minute - I guess this is how she's getting even. Other tables have come, ordered and left, and we're still sitting here. UPDATE: Never even got the appetizer we ordered, and we ended up leaving without eating. I will never come back here.

It’s been a while since my last dinner experience in this branch of Zizzi. Still, great atmosphere and food with a nice view of River Thames.

Never go around 3:30 pm The staff can’t handle groups (we were 16) Just one cook bc I don’t think he was a chef We were willing to wait for the service but The server has bad attitude and zero welcome / service I hope the management or owner read me and say something about it

What a great food, service and spectacular view overseeing the St Paul’s… Staff was very friendly (Ariana was superb).

Chicken milanese was made of reconstructed chicken, not whole breast. "fudge" cake was really bad. Other dishes didn't impress us either. Service wasn't very good either. Nice view of the river.

Ok food, ok views but exceptionally long wait for food of over 30 minutes and that was just for basic pizzas. Restaurant was half full at most.

Ok food, nice view and all went smooth with ordering and getting the food, but what is a bit annoying is that they include 10% tip on the bill and they just wrote the total sum on the machine. So if you would like to tip differently or not at all you need to tell them. Not the way it should be, I think!

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant has a nice view of the river although headroom by the window is limited! But the food was awful! I had the Linguine with King Prawns described as "King prawns twirled up in a seafood and Roquito chilli sauce, served with courgettes and pea shoots". I had maybe 4 or 5 prawns in very overcooked linguine and no taste of chilli. I had no courgettes and maybe 1 or 2 pea shoots...

Super friendly staff and the food was very good

My mum and I went here yesterday during our day out and was immediately met with incredible customer service, and I was given help to choose what I ordered, which came incredibly quickly. I absolutely loved the pizza I ordered, and my mum loved her sausage meat lasagne, which really twists the taste of lasagne into something you wouldn't expect. The cocktails/mocktails here were also delicious, the passion fruit one was delightfully refreshing. The chocolate melt I ordered was also fantastic. Overall, I'd HIGHLY recommend Zizzi, as its one of, if not the best restaurant I've ever been to. The atmosphere is lovely, the customer service is incredible (shoutout to the lady that served us for the most part who was incredibly sweet and helpful and fully deserved the tip we gave her), the food is delicious, and it's incredibly underrated, there were fewer people than you'd expect in there; you'll probably get a table. So if you're out for the day down by the Southbank, take a walk down to Zizzi (about 15 minutes straight down from Southbank's Merlin attractions and Westminster Bridge). You won't regret it.

Service and food were amazing. I had pizza, it was the thinnest base ever, just how I like it! Watch out for variations on opening times, you might be disappointed.

Amazing view of the river if sat next to the windows. Relatively small place but ate here at 4pm and it was not busy at all, and the service was quick. 5 stars overall, but 4 stars for the atmosphere as I feel the music was a bit too loud and distracting.

Not a great experience overall the food was bland and the portion size was small. There were only 4 prawns in the prawn linguine The strawberry mocktail was awful.

Experience overall is ok, food is pretentious, meaning portion size is meagre and as if smaller portions are more fashionable and fancy! Food taste is just ordinary, not really commensurate with the price, I guess the price you pay is for the place where you eat your food! The restaurant ambience is great, by the riverside and view is just fantastic. Service seems ok but feels a bit pressurised as they keep asking if we wanted to order something else, as when we finished eating and were just chatting. The bill automatically includes 10% service charge with a small print says optional, which we discovered once we already paid the bill. Management takes the service charge as tips for the employees, which supposedly goes equally to all staff, which may be a questionable system!! Clearly see no reason why anyone should come back to this place once have eaten here!!

Good was good. Service improved as they had a change of shift. But it’s a funny location. That was utterly deserted when we arrived and yet we’re still kept waiting to be seated.

Very good, welcoming and attentive staff. The view is perfect, and the atmosphere was calm, we will come back without hesitation.

My daughter visited with 2 friends yesterday - it took 45mins & for them to ask to have their order taken. The food was good but the service was terrible. At the end when they split the bill they decided not to pay the OPTIONAL service charge as hadn’t received good service they were told it was too late to take it off as the waitress had already put it on. I would have insisted - they are 16 so just paid it 😢

Really poor service when i arrived had to wait 2 minutes to be seen even when it was almost empty. I wasn't asked once how the food was. Ordered the chicken &firey roquito pizza- it was so bland no spicy roquito chills- only 7 bits of chicken shoved on top seems like the chefs didn't care about this order. Really disappointed with the entire meal. WONT BE COMING BACK TO THIS BRANCH.

We have now had two visits to this Zizzi with a large family group including children. The place is busy and buzzing. The staff were lovely and helpful, the pizzas very good. Enjoyed both our visits and the fact they will accommodate a large group in London (booked well in advance)on a Saturday is always good

I don’t normally leave bad reviews, I am a big fan of zizzis and actually come every year for the past 5 years I’ve been in London for the 3 course festive menu to kick of my festivities. It’s something I greatly look forward to! This year unfortunately, really was such a disappointment. I booked pretty far in advance for myself and my partner, we turned up early to get our table earlier which was fine as the restaurant was not that busy. We ordered cocktails to start, mine came out incorrectly as the tiramisu martini (I ordered gingerbread) but I didn’t mind and we ordered our starters and mains. Starters came which were lovely and then an hour passed and we still hadn’t received mains, I went up and said to our waiter we had been waiting along time to which she replied “I know I’ve chased the kitchen” then another 15 minutes in which we decided enough was enough, asked to cancel our mains and move on elsewhere. I hate being the person who complains but I really am so let down by something that may seem silly, but I look forward this so much every year. We got told our starters had not been charged as we left but everything else was fully charged and a very poor apology with no real explanation as to what happened.

I came here about 2 months ago the service was absolutely awful no one bothered to come up to me and my dad. I had to get a member of staff every time. The staff has a attitude like they didn't want to be there, it wasn't even busy. Food was so so. I definitely won't be coming here again or any zizzi restaurants it has definitely put me off !!

Dieses Restaurant war das beste Restaurant an unserem Aufenthalt in London. Die Servicekraft war sehr freundlich und hat uns ganz lieb nach möglichen Allergien sowie Unverträglichkeit gefragt. Wir haben gute Tipps für vegetarische Gerichte bekommen. Die Pizza war gigantisch groß und so köstlich! Als Nachtisch gab es den Rapsberry Cheesecake und das war ein kulinarischer Traum. Das ganze Ambiente war sehr schön. Die Getränke und die Gerichte wurden sehr zügig an den Tisch gebracht. Abends hat man eine wunderschöne Aussicht auf die Themse.

Upon arrival, my party and I were promptly seated, and the initial impression of the restaurant was positive. However, our excitement quickly turned into frustration as we waited over an hour for our food to arrive. The lengthy delay was not only inconvenient but also unacceptable, especially considering that other diners who arrived after us were served before us. When our food finally arrived, it was evident that the wait was not worth it. The service was subpar. The staff seemed inattentive, failing to provide updates or apologize for the extensive wait.

The waitress didn't bother telling us that they weren't going to serve us: we needed to order the food via an app. So we sat around for 25 minutes waiting. After we finally ordered on the app, it took another 25 minutes for our drinks to appear. The pizza came at quarter past seven when we had a show booked at the Globe 15 minutes later (we had arrived just after 6). My son managed to wolf down his £20 gluten free pizza (with extra toppings) in 5 minutes, I ate half of mine and found a piece of plastic in it. The view of the Thames was lovely though.

Really lovely restaurant with an overlook of the Thames and southbank, reasonable London prices and the food was excellent on balance of flavour and portion size!!! The staff are really friendly and helpful and the range of cocktails,spirits, beers and ciders is good for an Italian restaurant!!! I will definitely be back again!!!

The food took over an hour to come. Had to ask for the starter numerous times which came well over an hour after ordering. The mains were cold 🥶 on the top which was not great. Super slow service in the restaurant. The couple next to us also experienced very slow service. Wouldn’t recommend.

Decent place but not great. Probably not enough staff but they got by. Not hugely attentive and forgot some things. Nice view but clean the windows! Like a lot of London not the cleanest. Pasta was over cooked. Pizza and garlic bread was nice Overall average.

I had the unfortunate experience of dining at this establishment recently, and I must say, the food left much to be desired. It tasted as if it had been pulled straight from the freezer and hastily reheated. To make matters worse, the fruit in my cocktail seemed to have gone beyond ripe, bordering on rotten. However, I must give credit where it's due - the service was impeccable. The staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming, which was the only redeeming quality of my visit. It's a shame that such wonderful service couldn't compensate for the subpar culinary experience.

This is the worst zizzi’s I have ever been to, I have been a customer of this brand for a long time and love eating at their restaurants but this particular branch I will never step foot in again and do not recommend anyone else to either unless they have money to waste. The only good thing about it is the view of the Thames. 1- when me and my wife entered for lunch we wasn’t even greeted by any of the waitresses, they stood at the far end of the restaurant at the bar chatting away and drinking drinks while we stood there waiting for a table. I had to call them to get their attention, which we still waited 5 minutes before one of them decided to come to attend to us. 2- when we finally got a table the seats was dirty the bar had loads of used glasses and drinks which looked like nobody wanted to clean up. 3- after waiting for someone to finally attend to our table even though the restaurant had maybe 6 customers a waitress came to take our order after 15 minutes without a pen and paper to write anything down which I said to my wife I bet she will mess our order up, so this is what happened. The food took ages to come, I ordered a bruschetta with added buffalo mozzarella, which came out without any buffalo mozzarella which I had to inform the waitress who took it back and rectified it. The bread was so hard I could’ve broke my teeth eating it, the tomatoes was shrivelled up and soft which shows they was old. Secondly I got a burata caprese which once again had these shrivelled up tomatoes and half of a buffalo mozzarella. I ordered a large calamari which came out with maybe 5 pieces on the plate, I asked the waitress is this large and she told me no it’s small so I told her I ordered large which she apologised and took it back to the kitchen which I had to wait another 10 minutes before a large batch came out. When it did come out it was completely bland with all the pieces stuck together. I asked for extra aioli sauce which took another 8 minutes before the waitress could bother to get it to us. We ordered a strawberry and Raspberry mocktail which they waitress put a bit of syrup into sparkling water and brought it out to us. Finally ordered a margarita pizza which was so thin and burnt this was the worst food I have ever eaten. We ate the food because we was really hungry and hate wasting food but really the chef does not care about what he is sending out to his customers. 4-now on to the service, the waitress didn’t want to put any attention to us she spent most of the time behind the bar constantly pouring herself drinks and talking to her colleagues in her language. I even spotted her spill some of her drink on her hand which she then licked it off, which is completely unacceptable in a restaurant and didn’t bother washing her hands. She was rude and looked angry as if she just didn’t want to be there. The atmosphere was so bad in this place 5-after paying I asked for my receipt which once again this rude waitress came and handed it to me with an angry look on her face. I am not a person to write a review on a restaurant but this restaurant was just a disaster from the minute we walked in. They owners need to really consider they staff they employ and maybe get someone to clean up the place…what a disgrace

The pizza are thin bread, quality is ok but if you're Italian you'll feel the difference

Restaurante italiano con vistas al rio. Pasta muy rica y pedimos una pequeña fondue que estaba muy bien. Pizzas muy buenas de tamaño que pueden comer hasta dos personas. Fuimos un día laborable y existe la posibilidad de pedir un menú de dos platos mas postre. Precio correcto.

Went to this restaurant for an anniversary lunch, we had Tescos clubcard vouchers to use towards the bill , when inquiring about the vouchers was told by the waitress they didn't accept the vouchers where as other Zizzis near by did accept them ,i asked to speak with the manager whose name was Michael and explained it was an anniversary lunch as we had met there years previous ! He couldn't have been more accommodating and the food and service was excellent. Thankyou Michael.

What an awful experience. The food was dire. I'm giving it zero stars and that's generous. The bruschetta was no such thing, it was just soft baguette with watery tomato on it. The pizza was ridiculously thin, to the point where the crust was crumbling like a cream cracker. The fonduta board was atrocious, with tasteless arancini, deep fried gnocchi which were almost inedible (and a stupid idea) and horrible bland doughy garlic bread. My son's pasta was badly overcooked and mushy. And the caprese salad featured a tiny bit of mozzarella, I would estimate one quarter of a standard size ball. I could go on. I urge anyone giving this restaurant a good review to broaden their horizons and eat at some local independent Italian restaurants. There are thousands and they're all better than this embarrassment. What you get at Zizzi is terrible food cooked to spec, by people who, whilst willing and somewhat able, cannot really be described as chefs. Thankfully my complaints were heard loud and clear and the manager waived our entire bill, so I can only praise the service. This was kind, but only fair as we basically hadn't eaten anything.

Absolutely disgusting service from a manager… blonde hair, tons of makeup with rosey red cheeks! She speaks down on you and can’t even apologise for the service that was atrocious!! She needs to get sacked and find a different occupation as dealing with customers is definitely not her forte!!

They won't even look at you if you don't have a booking. Walked in for 1 and no would even acknowledge me for minutes. Finally asked if I had a booking and told me there was absolutely no room. I checked online and was able to book a table for 1 immediately.

Always nice here. Get a window booth and watch the boats on the river and people on the path below go pass. Food is always great and we've visited many times.

We came in for lunch and the person that seated us acted as though we were an imposition. The servers we say seemed apathetic and annoyed at having to be there. We waited several minutes and no one ever came to our table. Rather than cause and international incident or bring the situation to anyone’s attention, we left. We realize London is a busy city, but service is service.

Visually it’s great, location is good. The girls on the shop floor was just loitering about - not dressed for the atmosphere. Waiters and staff taking orders and bringing us food was great! Did not get a warm welcome when we walked in but atmosphere was good. Charged us a team tip £4.50 and they didn’t even ask us about the tip! For central London food is okay price.

Apart from the location, there is nothing which will excite you. While most people are good, however one of them is so rude, that it felt like she is held there against her will. Making faces while taking the order, poor body language, and outright disrespectful. Food is OK, if you can’t walk any more to find another place, as we were, after a long day of walking, you can visit the place. I wouldn’t again.

Booked a table, for confirmation on e-mail. Got turned down at the door , because they decided to close one hour early.

Happens to me for the first time. The service was awful, we was waiting 40 to be served. We tell the lady that we ready to placed our orders, we been ignored. We end up leaving the restaurant without food and drinks. Lady just look at us, didn’t say nothing.

We've come here a few times and the kitchen is always closed by 9:15. Should change the times online plz!
