My experience with the different flavor lasagna was not positive, I didn't like the dish I ordered. However, I have to say that the restaurant environment was really nice and welcoming.

Great service Diana and Neree are amazing people. The view is great. Food is good and the service also great.

the restaurant is beautiful. The view is incredible, the service is very good. But the food is a 5. We ordered a Burata as a starter, and it was served with a salad with raisins that had nothing to do with it. Burata is eaten with toast! Nothing to do with Italy. There was no carbonara or tiramisu on the menu. I found it very strange for an Italian restaurant to not have typical Italian dishes. My pasta was good, but not enough, I was hungry and went to five guys. In other words, you pay for the view, because the food leaves something to be desired!

yesterday me and my friend went for dinning. I would say view and atmosphere is good plus no complaints for service but I won't give a single star for food. Me and my friend ordered vg pasta and it was tasteless plus it wasn't boiled properly, was hard to chew. And quantity wise it was not sufficient for one person according the charges. They give very small portion of food. We were really disappointed with the food.

We ordered a Pizza Marinara, which was average and as an antipasto, a fried polenta al ragù. In addition to the fried polenta being a single tiny unit for the price charged, almost the same as the pizza, the ragù tasted like cinnamon and was very salty. It's not true Italian cibo. The view from the bridge is spectacular.

I am sorry to say that all the dishes bad. Just don't come here to eat.

Terrible experience. Hostess was unhelpful. We ordered more to try different dishes but they didn’t have any carry out boxes for leftover. Overpriced fish with very underwhelming taste.

There is an amazing waiter called Sergio who is extremely kind! He served us very quickly and friendly, I have seen him giving attention to many tables! Definitely a star staff! Food is exceptional, slow cooked beef pasta is incredible I would order 1000 times! Won’t order again the warm chocolate dessert with vanilla gelato because the gelato doesn’t taste very good! All rest perfect!

We were served by a waiter who was so friendly that it even made us feel strange, as friendliness is not the hallmark of locals, as everyone knows. In the end we discovered that he was a Brazilian, and finally everything made sense! Sérgio's service was unique in making our experience positive.

The restaurant surely has one of the best views in London looking out over the Tower, Tower Bridge and the City skyline through a massive panoramic window. It's lovely and airy with music playing nicely. The menu is somewhat disappointing, there's a general lack of choice when it comes to meat dishes, and pricing also seems to have increased since this was a Strada restaurant -which makes sense with inflation. However the menu only has five or six choices per course, which is usually a sign of quality, but here the result is feeling like you're paying over the odds for something you don't really want. The food, when delivered had also clearly been sat under a heat lamp for some time, the oil and cheese having formed a skin. It was also surprisingly oily - even for an Italian dish - it seems that the sight of olive oil is taken as a sign of authenticity or something nowadays. I suspect it's actually a cheap way to make a dish look good. Finally, portion sizes too were underwhelming - ordering two courses would probably be needed if really hungry. Overall the restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and the staff were perfectly nice too, everything looks great in fact - but the food experience was disappointing. This is another restaurant where everything is calculated to process as many people through the doors as quickly as possible ensuring that no matter what the spend is per diner, the money flows.

Very good restaurant with a great view of Tower Bridge / the Tower of London and very tasty food! One of the best pizzas I've ever eaten! Also rolled out nice and thin, as befits a real Italian pizza. The staff is very friendly and attentive. There was hardly any waiting time to eat and the plates were cleared away quickly. The dessert is highly recommended. My tart was even really warm on the inside, that's what you call fresh out of the oven!

Geez….i have never had Italian food tasting so bad…. My wild red prawns pasta was a bit cold which wasn’t the biggest issue … but the one prawn , one prawn!!!!! Cut in 5 pieces…. I had to take a picture because anyone would say I am making it up. Kids pasta undercooked, none of our kids eaten it. None of the dishes at our table were good, cod was the worst, sent it back… Apart from the tower bridge view and nice waitresses unfortunately it’s a waste of money. Spot the prawn 🍤 cut in 5 pieces (on the menu says prawns (plural) but only one prawn was in the pasta

Tower bridge view improves any dish or drink. Aperol Spritz seriously? A lot of ice does not improve the taste. With all respect to the Chef burrata suppliers need to change. Assume in Italy any local shops have better burrata choice. The burrata side salad was mui buono. Pasta della pizza che si scioglie in bocca. Pizza dough was close to wow. Gracie.

We were looking for a lovely restaurant to celebrate my partners promotion when we stumbled upon this beautiful place. I had the the cod fillet dish with a side of crispy potatoes that was to due for. Thank you to everyone who made out evening extra special. I’d like to also highlight your lovely employee Nerea, she was nothing but helpful and knowledgeable. Bless her heart, we had so many questions. She’s definitely an asset to your lovely restaurant. The food wasn't very nice and the presentation was none existent. I didn't enjoy my starter as it had a funny taste and the main course resembled cat food with pasta. No side salads or accompaniments left the food looking and tasting very bland. The vegetable lasagne was very mushy! Overpriced and not enjoyable, we won't be rushing back!

Surely if you come to London you certainly don't expect to eat like in Italy... but I must say that we were pleasantly surprised here! Fed up with fish and chips and various burgers, we had the chance to eat a delicious steak with aubergines, not to mention the fried courgettes and dessert...excellent coffee finally! Worth coming back...even if it's a little expensive, it's worth it...shall we talk about the magnificent view? ..dinner with show

I am Italian and often when we go abroad we cannot find good Italian cuisine. In this place, however, I found quality in the food and service. Advised

First time here, and from the view to the waitress to the food, I mean just skyrocket to my top list of restaurants, not to mention the fair price. Food wise I literally had an orgasm from my month so bloody delicious. Straight from a Latin blood the food it's just to good! Well done definitely will come back!

We arrived in London that day, this restaurant had been recommended to us for the views and the food, the truth is that the views are spectacular and we loved the food. We were attended by a girl who I think was called María, super friendly, explaining many things about London to us. Very good quality-price ratio, to repeat if we return to London.

Sonali was amazing to us! She attended us graciously and with so much kindness! The wild prown tagliatelle was fantastic and got even better with a lot of Parmesan that beautiful Sonali offered us!

The atmosphere of the meal and the attitude of the waiters are all very good. What I like most is that they have soda.

Food was really great and portion size was generous, actually even better than my first visit. Gave a 4 only because it was on the slightly salty side. Not a good overall experience. We have made the booking very last minute and didn’t manage to get a table next to the window, but the view was still very nice, I had high hopes. It took a while until someone came to take our order, even though we had been seated in a very central location of the dining area, and the waitresses had been walking around the table for a while by the time someone asked if we wanted some water we were ready to order everything , and I usually take a while to decide. I ordered one starter to share, 2 mains and 2 side dishes. Somehow one of the side dishes came with the starter, I did notice on the menu that the specific dish appeared as a starter and a side dish also, I did specify that I would only want one starter to share, but if not sure why not just ask? Anyway they did taste nice. My pasta dish was nice as well but my partner ordered a stake that looked like someone took a sh*t on a plate and served it to us with some courgette wedges on the side that had mayo poured on it(??). The stake was well done on the outside and blue on the inside. He had a couple of bites but couldn’t finish it. Also had to ask for a stake knife after we received the mains course. He also ordered a pint of lager but when we got it it was clearly not a pint size. And when he asked the waitress if this was actually a pint she just order us another one. The price was definitely for a pint. Which is fair, I didn’t expect to pay less in central London in a busy location like that, and of course we have no problem paying for it even if it’s not the size we asked for, but it would have been nice if she actually explained what we’re getting instead of just ordering something that’s not what we wanted. In the meantime of course no one came to the table even though it was very clear that we stopped eating with our plates still being full, especially my boyfriend only taking a couple of bites of the stake. I do understand if it’s a busy night or short staffed but while we had these issues at the table the waitresses were chatting the the waiter station. We ended up just asking for the bill. Service charge had been added to the bill which is completely fine and have no problem paying even more than that if I actually receive at least the minimum amount of service. But that didn’t happen, so I have paid the amount without the service charge, few seconds later a waitress comes back to the table telling me I haven’t paid the full amount (the one with the service charge). I mean it’s one thing not receiving a good service, but it’s another one expecting me to pay for it anyway. On the way out no one actually looked at us or said thank you or at least bye. Definitely not recommended

An absolutely delicious meal with beautiful views

Lovely location for a restaurant. The view of the Tower of London was great. The experience was ultimately somewhat disappointing however. The member of our party who ordered the chicken Milanese said it tasted alright, but was nothing special. The red prawn and sundried tomato tagliatelle tasted good, but the serving of prawns in the dish was small. The sauce for the beef shin pasta dish was very tasty, but there were no actual pieces of beef in the food, which was disappointing. Only a few microscopic flakes of beef found their way into the sauce. This made 18 pounds for a dish of pasta with beef gravy seem a bit overpriced. I can't comment on the cocktails, as I didn't try any, but they looked ok. 50 pounds for four drinks however! This is probably fair enough by London standards, but seemed expensive to me for glasses of drink which were half-filled with ice. The service was pleasant, but a little inattentive - it sometimes took the servers quite a while to check up on how we were doing. All in all, I think one visit was enough. I will look for other venues next time I want to go out to eat in this area.

If you want to eat well while seeing some postcards of London and still pay a fair price for it, this is the place! I've had the opportunity to go more than once and each time the food was of impeccable quality! The service is incredible, with waiters always helpful and attentive. The pizza is wonderful and the pasta can be better than the pizza. The restaurant is great for a romantic evening or with friends for a great conversation. Make a reservation and enjoy a great night. Edition on 02/12/24 Once again I returned to Tavolino and once again I had a pleasant surprise in my best place in London. I would just like to highlight the service I received yesterday which was incredible, but I don't remember the name of the person who served us, but it was a woman and her name starts with S and we were at the top of the restaurant. She was incredible! And it improved my outlook even more. Just a suggestion, just try to be as careful in the women's bathroom as you are in the men's. I know that much of this experience depends on the customers who use the place, but increased attention is necessary.

Unfortunately both pizzas were cold and small portions. Also, unexpectedly, there was no cheese on the pizza. Not entirely convinced.

An obvious tourist trap where we paid a lot of money for poor food and unhospitable service. While the view from the top floor is fantastic, there were so many disappointments which detracted from the experience: - The kitchen didn't appear to have anything we asked for. No chilli flakes, no chilli oil, no salt and pepper, no vinegar, no boxes to transport leftovers. Everything we asked for felt like a massive inconvenience for the staff. - Miniscule portion sizes. I paid £18 for a pasta dish which could have been eaten in approx. 3 mouthfuls. Went home hungry (and sad 😔). - Friend ordered a pizza which had barely any toppings, and was essentially a piece of bread with cheese and tomato on top. It looked like the kitchen was running short of ingredients. - Ordered a coke that was 90% ice cube and 10% coke. When we asked the staff to rectify this issue, they explained that they couldn't because they only serve coke in tiny little mixer-style bottles. The waitress then bought us a replacement coke with no ice, but then charged us for both. A total of £6 spent on less than 500ml of coke is a joke. - The general demeanour of the staff was unfriendly and passive aggressive. By the end of the meal I was relieved that we could leave. Don't be fooled by the scenic views (which is the only reason this is not a 1 star review). You will spend a lot of money here for average food, in tiny portions, and receive poor treatment from the staff in the process. Best avoided.

Good view and location, caters for the weekday working and tourists. Food quality was good, presentation was average, service was average. Very poor option on beers. Limited menu. Apx £90 a head for 3 courses and a couple of drinks. Watch out for tip they include a 12.5% with the bill and also specifically ask for a tip on the card machine.

Very nice place, we showed up without reservation for a birthday there were two of us, we had the right to a prime place facing the tower bridge, the waiters were very nice and helpful, the food was good. We will come back

It's got a great view of tower bridge, great selection of food and drinks. They are well priced and I really enjoyed visiting here. It's also very close to. London bridge station. Foods delicious and good portion sizes. Cocktails were lovely and the prosecco was well priced. We had a great birthday party here. Service is good as well. Worth coming here for sure. Enjoy people.

First time visiting Tavolino; Tavolino team went beyond expectations, great service and very careful when handling my booking reservation for a birthday celebration for 2 people; a table with a great view on the Tower Bridge was offered as well as a special Happy Birthday desert. Absolutely thoughtful from A to Z. Great menu and efficient service! Lovely evening thanks to a great team and their special attentions. Highly recommend.

Mass produced food, better off going to a chain restaurant where food is same but way cheaper. Rating is purely for the v friendly waiter.

Everything was terrific here. Disappointed that they didn't have a favourite vegetarian pasta option available but they've made up for that. We all enjoyed the great service, quality food and excellent location. We will be returning soon.
