Great day & thank you to team at Tavolino for lovely lunch. We went there for family lunch for 21st birthday - team were great and food was lovely

Alexanderos was a phenomenal waiter. The restaurant was incredible with the most wonderful views. We enjoyed the food which was faultless so I shall say that I'll return without a doubt. Thank you Tavolino and thank you Alexandros

Situated directly opposite the Tower of London with panoramic views of several iconic sites. The restaurant itself was surprisingly big and lovely inside. As we were a very large group, we were sat upstairs and had a specially selected 4-course menu that was served family style. First, we have focaccia bread with tomatoes and olives. Salami misti, which was as expected. Burrata with celery salad, for me this was spoiled by the raisins (never liked them)! Garlic bread - only ok. Then, I had 3 types of pasta: - pork tagliatelle - orchiette with tomatoes - cacio e pepe Omg, the pasta delivered on so many levels. It was beautiful, and I could still taste it. Chicken milanese and rocket was nice. I love my puds but found the burnt butter panna cotta with toffee sauce and hazelnut chocolate pudding only ok. The service was great. Given our numbers, the staff did a great job ensuring our glasses were topped up and that food was conveniently placed.

This restaurant has a truly beautiful view of Tower Bridge. The quality of service from the servers was inconsistent, and it was a bit surprising that the dishes were served to guests even though they had large foreign objects (not stains) on them.

One of my favorite Italian restaurants in London! The view and the food are excellent. My only complaint is that the food portions have been getting smaller.

Ate here 17 Feb pre theatre. Service not great, waited ages to be seated in a fairly empty restaurant. The person who took the order was efficient. Worst greasy focaccia ever. Drinks were made but sat at the bar unattended for ages. 4 prawns in the prawn tagliatelle. The couple next to us were so frustrated, they upped and left. A trip to the bathroom was grim, dirty and unattended. Really poor management.

The mains were very good and the views over London Bridge are pretty spectacular. Friendly and attentive service.

I had an incredible time dining out! The food was top-notch, especially the spicy pork and 'nduja ragu tagliatelle—so fresh and packed with flavour. The service was genuinely warm, making the whole experience even better. The atmosphere was perfect, and I felt I got great value for my money. Highly recommend this place if you're in the area!

Industrial dessert not good at all, I don't recommend this restaurant apart from the life which is superb or to have a cold drink while admiring Towerbridge otherwise the food is not good a disappointing Italian restaurant!!!

We had excellent valentine's dinner there with stunning views of Tower Bridge and the Thames

This was truly a stunning place. Came here, for the first time ever,for a meal with my wife on a Sunday evening for my birthday. We didn't have a reservation but thankfully the lady at the desk was able to find us a table (bear in mind, the outside was full to capacity, very warm evening, so we were sat inside which we didn't mind because they had air conditioning, but reservations are probably advisable at peak times). The service was prompt, friendly and helpful, can't fault any of the staff here. The menu was very Italian with a nice varied choice. Prices are very reasonable considering the quality of the food and location.Food wise it was all gorgeous, especially the Bucatini, that really was to die for, such a simple dish but done to perfection. Drinks wise the wine was very nice also. The atmosphere was relaxed, warm, friendly and yet a little touch a elegance somehow. Would highly recommend a visit here and will definitely be going again. Thank you for a splendid evening, can't wait to visit again.

Absolutely recommended - great Italian food, the pasta tastes like home-made! The pizza is also very tasty! Beautiful view directly of Tower Bridge and prices really OK - especially for what is on offer! Waiters very friendly and accommodating!

An extraordinary place with a view of the beige tower. Excellent food. We ate pizza, first courses and meat. Friendly and helpful staff, both the waiters who served and Stefania who welcomed us at the entrance. We will happily return. Beautiful evening

It's a lovely restaurant, with a spectacular view, great food and attentive service.

An unbeatable experience. My boyfriend and I went to dinner and were served by a Spanish girl who, despite arriving 15 minutes late, left us the best table with the best views of the restaurant. Not only Nerea, the manager, welcomed us in an extraordinary way, but the two waiters Alessandra and Danielle served us with maximum kindness and professionalism. You really see the level of the people who work in this restaurant when when it came time to pay, my boyfriend and I had problems with our bank accounts and we couldn't make the full payment for the dinner, so without thinking twice they decided not to charge us the water and the cost of the service so that we could pay. We offered to come and pay it the next day and without hesitation they told us that it was not necessary. Without a doubt, not only a very good restaurant to recommend, but the service really makes the difference.

We had the best time at Tavolino. Julia our server was incredible and so so so nice and kind. she was very informative about the menu and the service she provided was 10/10.

Terrible experience. We booked tavolino for our dad’s birthday well in advance. I called up the week of the booking to ask if we were allowed to drop off a cake the day before and leave it at the restaurant. The person on the phone said we were welcome to drop off a cake but that they wouldn’t be able to store it in the fridge - no problem. I come into London on my day off to drop off the cake, and am told by floor staff that it will cost me £40 to leave the cake. £40 is daylight robbery!!! The person I spoke to in person was fairly polite but just kept telling me I could buy deserts instead? Absolutely not okay, what the hell am I supposed to do with the cake. Whilst I understand there is sometimes a charge for leaving a cake I specifically rang up to ask and this was never mentioned. Booking cancelled we will take our business (and cake) elsewhere.

Tavolino Café near Tower Bridge is a fantastic place to visit. The pizza is incredibly delicious, the atmosphere is cozy, and the views of Tower Bridge and the River Thames are simply breathtaking. The staff is very friendly, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this café!

Went in for a date night and the food and staff did not disappoint. The food was delicious and the service was quick however the restaurant can get very noisy very quickly with all the birthday celebrations so keep that in mind if you want a quiet place to dine. Hence one less star for atmosphere!

Magical settings restaurant very well placed magnificent seen during the meal which was also very good the pasta is excellent and the service very kind in terms of the bill it was reasonable I recommend 100% you would not be disappointed

Waiters who make fun of people who don't speak English, don't listen to allergies and charge for water when you ask for a carafe... the quantity is tiny and the service charge calculated as a percentage quickly changes the bill. Otherwise the view is magnificent and the atmosphere subdued

Tasnim and Nerea are the best. The food was great and we had a lovely birthday celebration. Nothing beats kind and polite customer service.

Incredibly delicious. Good sized portions. Lovely wine and great hospitality. We had the spicy pork tagliatelle and the prawn tagliatelle.. garlic bread and a bottle of Pinot Grigio blush… followed by cheesecake and espresso martinis ☺️

The view is great and the atmosphere was pleasant. The food is not bad, even if we were told that something was unavailable only after we ordered, when it should have been said at the start. What I really didn’t like was the way the bill was presented to me. The waitress was holding the bill which was folded in half to cover the part where it said that a 12.5% DISCRETIONARY service charge was applied. I would have paid the service charge regardless, but “hiding” it from the customer is really wrong and it felt like a scam, as I realised it only after I paid and the waitress gave the receipt to me.

We had a very good time at Tavolino. I messaged ahead mentioning it was a birthday celebration and the team went above and beyond! Window seats and amazing service throughout the evening. A special thanks to our waiter Mohammed, he did everything he could to make the evening as pleasant as possible. I will definitely be back!

When ordering we were told items that were unavailable instead of informing us before we made our choice off menu. Focaccia bread not warm. No balsamic vinegar available. Oil provided with bread was not of a good extra virgin oil quality. Mains arrived shortly after starter No chilli oil available on request. No atmosphere in restaurant.

Great location, fun atmosphere, amazing views of Tower Bridge and the city. Excellent food and we were looked after very well by our servers, Giulia and Tasnim. We were a large office party group and the manager, Nerea, took care of us superbly. Would highly recommend!

Best view of London Tower Bridge! You will think it’s a touristic spot but the Italian food they serving is mouth watering and the staff was super friendly and attentive to my dietary restrictions. I would definitely recommend to everyone in London to go at least once! The tiramisu was too good!!

Fourth time I visit Tavolino and this venue continues to impress friends & family each time. There's always a new delicious dish to taste and never disappoints, service is flawless! Incredible professional staff, great attention to detail (table next to us was celebrating and we got to see what a great time they had) The best Views to enjoy from the comfort of an elegant setting, excellent food and outstanding service each time.

I had a great experience at Tavolino. Really interesting Italian food, enjoyed everything I ate. Friendly, welcoming service too and loved the view over Tower Bridge.

Go somewhere else!! Tourist trap with an afwul service. Even though we had a set menu since weeks, it took them ages to bring us food. Between each course we had to wait at least 30 minutes just to then be rushed because they wanted to close early. We could not even have a coffee as they already shut the machine down, which is clearly not our fault if the service is crazy poor. Staff had been rude and unhelpful all night, since the beginning of the service. The only good thing about the place is the view, all the rest is utterly bad. Just look at the Tower Bridge from outside, it will be more pleasant. Super overpriced.

I visited this spot recently and really enjoyed my time there. The drinks were top-notch, and the service was friendly and attentive, making me feel welcome from the start to a warm farewell. While the food was good, a bit more flavour in the dishes and a crusty focaccia would have taken it to the next level. Overall, it was a great experience, recognised both my son and wife's birthday, very pleasant, especially for value! I’ll definitely be back next time I'm in the area.

Amazing. I recommend this restaurant and I will definitely come back! The prices are so reasonable for London and especially for the view we have in front of us. Magical place opposite Tower Bridge. Simple but very good dishes. I was able to book a table for 6 last minute on December 31st and we had a table within an hour. It was truly a wonderful experience. The service is great, the only negative point would be the desserts which are not the best. But enjoy this magical atmosphere for little money!

Chegamos as 16h no restaurante, que estava vazio. Perguntamos se havia alguma mesa com vista disponível, e a mâitre meio mau educada disse que não e nos colocou numa mesa com apenas vista parcial, okay. Fizemos os pedidos, e para as crianças, escolhemos o menu que vinha prato principal e sobremesa. Logo em seguida o garçom veio com os dois sorvetes.. mandaram a sobremesa antes do prato principal. O refri veio um copo, e metade dele era gelo. Para mim, pedi uma pasta cacio e pepe, e era pimenta pura! Sem queijo, inclusive sem oferecerem queijo ralado por cima. Meu marido pediu uma pizzq 4 queijos, que veio com uma cebola caramelizada que roubou completamente o sabor dos queijos e deixou a pizza doce. Além disso tudo, as porções são muito pequenas, e não valem o preço. Atendimento ruim, garçons discutindo na nossa frente, comida ruim, e o que poderia ser o melhor do restaurante, que é a vista, não te permitem sentar. Não indico!!

We had a delicious lunch at Tavolino prior to going to Tower Bridge and Tower of London. Beautiful views, great atmosphere and tasty food. We brought our two kids and they also loved it. Muhammad, our server, was very friendly. Definitely recommend if your looking for a lunch spot in this area.

View great, service 0 out of 10, go somewhere else. Booked months before our reservation expecting the normal menu, but then sent a New Year’s Eve menu two days before which half the table didn’t like. I emailed asking if there is a kids menu available which they emailed back saying there is, however when we arrived they said they aren’t serving the children’s menu. We were unable to claim the deposit without eating meaning the kids couldn’t have any food.

If you are not lucky enough to get the view. Its a waste of time.

First visit, and for a business lunch with colleagues - quick and attentive service, and excellent pizzas. restaurant was quiet that day but nice atmosphere overlooking the Thames.

Tavolino's is on our favourites list of restaurants in London. It has a typically Italian atmosphere, lively, relaxed, a great bar and lovely staff. Foods great too! It probably has the best view from a restaurant in London. Enjoy!

Terrible, just terrible! We were so disappointed with this experience. We took our three year old, only to find out that the kids menu available is PATHETIC (I cannot overstate this!). All that was available on the kids menu was tomato pasta and another average meal option. We asked if there was an option to get basic chicken arranged for our toddler, like what all restaurants have offered previously for little ones when not on the menu. However, when we enquired, the waitress abruptly dismissed our request. We ended up leaving, as our little one would have otherwise gone hungry. So, so disappointing - please improve the kids menu, otherwise, we will never visit again. It was a disgrace!!!

Ristorante frequentato per anni quando vivevo e lavoravo a Londra. Anni fa da expat apprezzavo la proposta di zucchini e pizze. A distanza di anni sono tornata per un pranzo con i miei vecchi colleghi e non ho avuto lo stesso entusiasmo. Le slices di focaccia hanno un costo impegnativo, fried zucchini sempre buoni e in generale i costi sentono di un ulteriore rincaro ( già cinque anni fa i prezzi erano up). Non ci ripasserei per mangiare tutt al più per un bicchiere di vino.

I had ordered the Confit Duck Leg. The lentils were uncooked and were quite smelly. I had the first bite and could not eat anymore. The service was good and the atmosphere was nice as well. Probably a bad choice of the dish. My boyfriend did love the cod he had.

Tourist trap. Disinterested staff. The food is only passable at best; mostly pre-fabricated slop, that seems to be assembled rather than cooked at all, much like you might get in an institutional cafeteria. I had the cod which was utterly miserable, with the sauce being cold and saccharine sweet, with absolutely no relation of any kind to the fish, as though they'd just dumped the grilled fish into a bath of canned tomato. The pizza was lacklustre much like something heated from frozen. The bread was nice but that's about it. The desserts are marginally better but nothing special. Waiting for them to open the Gaucho nextdoor. Wish they'd get on with it. Don't bother. Total waste of time and money.

Setting and view was excellent however food very average. Disappointing as potential for a memorable experience was not delivered by average tasteless food

Service was fine. Location, atmosphere and all were nice. But ultimately the food makes or breaks it. Food is actually nice. But not £20 nice. Not worth the price and amount. Not enough pasta for a £20 dish and doesn't taste amazingly good to be worth £20 with the portions.
