This place is EXACTLY what I needed after a day of busy London sightseeing. Of all the coffee shops I could have stumbled into, I'm so glad I ended up here. The atmosphere was calm, peaceful. The music was gentle and perfect. The staff so kind. Food and coffee were good. They had indoor and outdoor seating. I chose to sit inside, where they had super comfy, plush chairs. Highly recommend if you need a respite from the busy city.

The male employee working in the cafe thoroughly blew and wiped his nose with a thin napkin, then proceeded to grab a bag of bread, take a slice of bread out and make some food without washing or sanitizing his hands. He did this in front of us, while addressing us, with no second thoughts.

Very average / poor food, tired arancino served nearly cold and panino that was underfilled and underwhelming. These two items plus a small bottle of water for over £17. Non buono

As an italian I am very picky when it comes to food and ice creams, I found the best italian ice cream in London , so good, I can still taste it in my mouth. I will definitely go back.

This is a Sicilian cafe, they have the freshest cannolis I have ever tasted. Various sorts of gelatos, sandwiches etc all made by the owner and staff. A perfect stop 5 minutes away from Tower Bridge in London.

Nice little Sicilian cafe. My rating applies to cappuccino and hot chocolate. Like almost everywhere in London, the cappuccini are too big, which makes the consistency a bit watery. Actually cozy inside, but with both doors open it's more like a wind tunnel. Some tables outside in the courtyard are very nice in the sunshine. Nice toilet, but only one is occupied almost all the time.

Great espresso Italian style with the welcoming baristas

had a terrible experience of Chai in my hometown, but the Chai Latte here was so perfect to break my fear. the flavor of spice was just right, not too strong. in addition to the soft music brought total relaxation. hot chocolate was brilliant as well. thorough taste of cocoa with smooth texture. should have taken a picture of drinks, but i enjoyed them so much that I forgot the action.

Italian cafe with traditional dishes, ideal for a quick breakfast or snack. I wholeheartedly recommend the panini with different fillings (quite filling), but also the sweet ones.

Unlike the Starbucks that you will pass by if coming from Tower Bridge, this cafe is quiet and cosy. The staff did not pressure us while we took our time to look over the menu before ordering. There is a good selection of breakfast items and the toast and full English breakfast were made to order (meaning you need to wait, but you get warm and fresh food). Cannoli is also worth a try. If you are looking for breakfast, give them a try.

On the morning of November 20, 2023, my wife and I found ourselves at Caffe Paradiso, indulging in a breakfast that will be etched in our memories. The barista, a gentleman maestro of the espresso machine, presented us with an espresso and cappuccino that transcended the ordinary. The skill and professionalism on display were unmistakable, offering a taste so reminiscent of Italy, it was as if we were transported to a quaint Roman café. Such an exceptional experience is rare, and we are already looking forward to our next visit

One of our favourite for coffee and pastry. Hot chocolate is lovely, hot and creamy, and oat latte is the best. Way better than neighbouring Starbucks! Tall, young lad with the beard is very polite and friendly, so are others. We do come back regularly.

Visited this Italian cafe for the first time last week. Had the beef ragu arancini and peach frollo biscuits. They were both OK but nowhere near the standard I had in Florence earlier this year. A shame really.

The place is nice to chill with some good music. I ordered a double machiato with a small cookie, and got served on my table. The girl was super nice and helped me browsing the menu. Had to ask three times whether what I had ordered contained dairy. They didn't really seem to understand the question, which is strange, given this is a pretty normal thing for customers to ask. Also the place stank when I walked in so pretty unpleasant. The food is also disappointing. Only thing I'd recommend it for is if you use Too Good To Go, then it's very generous. Also no music playing, which I personally prefer: the atmosphere is relatively quiet. Otherwise don't bother coming here.

Bad quality coffee and non fresh cannoli.

The gelato was just extortionate priced £4.20 for a scoop that was barely worth £1 and not even tasty. The service was terrible too. I had been here before and really liked it....such a shame!!

Leaving a review so everyone is aware that the hours posted on maps are incorrect. My friend and I went this morning at 7:15 am thinking it was open because maps said they open at 7:00 am. The door was open so I went in and asked if they were already open and the person who was there was very rude asking me what do I think since the chairs were still upside down on the tables. He told me the hours posted on maps were wrong and told me to go next door to Starbucks. Very unprofessional of him!! Was excited to try this place but since I’ve read other bad reviews I don’t think I ever will go again.

We came in planning to order coffee and decided to wait to use the toilet first as we needed the restroom. The tall blond woman behind the counter asks if we want to order anything and I said yes we just need the toilet first. She said “I don’t believe you.” So we left. I’ll go somewhere else. There’s many coffee places around with better customer service.

One of the most unsatisfactory brunch meal I ever had. Well located, warm atmosphere true, but the price and poor portion ruined everything. I come here to have a brunch meal “eggs on toast” and an espresso. The dish was well presented, but really really small, the egg fully covered the bread and it ended to me eating the egg yellow by it’s own. Price for that little portion : 8,90£. Too much unbalanced between the quantity and the portion. Not suggested at all. There are better place to spend money in here around.

Not recommended if you are looking for real Italian food and good service. The staff never told us that we should wait for our coffee at the counter after paying (for sit-in) and she was annoyed when I’ve asked where the coffee were after a 20 minute wait (she didn’t actually make them at all, but made them right there). The macchiato was just coffee with non frothed milk and the flat white was just a cafè au lait. The cannolo’s filling was rancid and definitely not fresh; when questioned it, the waitress told us that’s how ricotta tastes like (I’m Italian, so I definitely know what ricotta tastes like). The only good thing is that they refunded us the cannolo. Absolutely terrible.

This is a cute little Italian place with a pleasant vibe. I was passing by and thought it would be good to check it out. Didn't disappoint at all. I had their hot chocolate - it was really good and the quantity was amazing for the price. The ambience was very nice.. you could just sit there in peace and probably read a book.

We came here on a Sunday morning, I checked the menu online and thought it looked good for breakfast. When you get in there is only a menu on a chalk board above the counter which isn’t much choice. The lady serving me at the counter seemed very confused when I asked for smoked salmon eggs and avocado (which I had seen on the online menu) and said there was no salmon. We then ordered a full English and I asked if they could do scrambled eggs and avocado which they did. It all seemed like too much trouble to be honest I didn’t think it was very friendly at all. The tables are set out for drinks rather than eating and we ended up on two comfy chairs bending over a small table to eat, very comfortable and because of the where the furniture is we were getting bashed by people walking past to get to the counter. The coffee was really nice, I would recommend for drinks and the food was actually tasty but for the price and service I wouldn’t come back here or recommend. Over £40 for breakfast 2 coffees and some juice, not worth it for the experience.

This little cafe is A-MA-ZING! The Sicilian Arcanine is out of this world! Caffe Paradiso is a quiet little place to grab a drink, whether it be warm or cold, and a delicious bite to eat. We will definitely be back as soon as possible!

I ordered FULL engilish breakfast and got so little on plate. I was trully dissapointed. There wasnt even beans served. The local was called so i asked the Staff to close the door and they didnt allow me. My gf got served food when i have finished eating. Food was good But too little for that price

My poached eggs were hard boiled, solid. The eggs in my wife's Eggs Benedict were also hard boiled and the sauce was cold. Not cheap. Very disappointing.

I only had coffee here but it was good coffee and the service was good, nice indoor & outdoor seating and the food at the counter looked DELICIOUS I would have been very happy if I was there for lunch

This is legit one of the worst café in London. Food is super pricy and tasted awful at the same time. The lady taking the order is also rude and unpleasant. I would not recommend anyone coming here for their own good.

Super little cafe tucked away near Butlers wharf. We had a lovely breakfast, great service and all very quick and easy. Stark contrast to the dreadful Ivy just around the corner.

Stopped into this small but genuine Sicilian cafe. We had coffee and a pastry and porridge. The porridge with fruit and honey was excellent.

On a sunny day like today the choices by the river are multiples and today i have chosen to stop by this Italian Coffee shop in Shad Thames with my family. It is a very small place with lots of Italian products and fresh food on the go as well. We sat outside and had flat whites and croissant (I should have got the cream one like my wife). The 3 staff team was brilliant and super friendly; Tonya who devotedly looked after us and quick was the star explaining my wife the differences between coffee drinks. Got also ice cream for my daughter to go as we were leaving 👍. We surely be back on our next trip to south of England.

I enjoy the food at Olivelli's, a sister restaurant near Waterloo, so assumed this cafe would be good for coffee and cake in preference to Starbucks next door. It was a hot day and there is no air conditioning inside so we chose to sit at the outdoor tables although there are no sun umbrellas. You have to order at the counter and take things to your table yourself. The "Americano" coffees weren't very good and came in small cups. I wanted some milk for mine and too much was put in by the person serving, usually it comes in a jug so you can choose how much for yourself. I complained but she wasn't interested and certainly didn't offer to replace. The staff do not seem to care much about their customers or smile. There wasn't a huge selection of cakes and they are very overpriced, £5.25 each! They tasted OK but nothing special. We won't be back.

Next to a coffee chain we opted for a smaller cosy place. Big mistake. We sat down on comfy chairs to then be adked are you ready at the counter. I pointed to our choice. Coffees were just plocked on the table, mine spilled over the cup with no ask if we need sugar. The Koala arrived just put down no idea what it was, had to open it. Expensive and would not return!

I was fully expecting to write a bad review for this place when I asked or breakfast and they looked at me blankly. Over their shoulder was a big sign saying English Breakfast. But it was good. Not cheap by any means but thoroughly enjoyable and cooked properly. And it’s just a few metres past a well-known coffee place. But, here you get coffee how it should taste!

Amazing italian gelato, real delicious coffee

I went for brunch and had the eggs Benedict. It was terrible. Soggy oily toast, bacon was gross and fatty, and the sauce was just melted butter with balsamic vinegar. Worst breakfast ever!

The two of us went in mainly because the sicilian cakes looked delicious. There was no queue. We stood by the counter waiting for someone to take our order.However the woman working there completely ignored us and carried on serving the customers seated outside. We waited patiently, hoping she would say something like 'take a seat I wont be long'. However not a word, it was as we were transparent... she looked flustered, then another lady appeared behind the counter and I looked at her, hoping she would take my order but she just ignored me too. So we left.

Visited with a friend on Sunday, we were just walking around and stumbled upon this cafe, thinking it looked nice from the outside and was surprisingly quiet for a Sunday morning in the area (think we missed this red flag!). I ordered the full English breakfast and a latte which came to £17 something, bit pricey but I'm used to London prices. My friend ordered eggs Benedict. The coffee was good. When breakfast came, our poached eggs were completely dry - solid even! The rest of the breakfast was ok but had balsamic vinegar drizzled over it, which was too sweet for my liking. My friend was disappointed that her eggs Benedict wasn't on a muffin but thin pieces of toast. My friend went to the counter and politely mentioned about our poached eggs being hard boiled, and the lady at the counter agreed to redo the eggs (no apology though). Eggs came done the second time were fine but rest of my good was cold by then. Overall, fairly disappointing experience, perhaps we were unlucky as I can see some good reviews on here.

Three women were stood chatting while I waited to be served. With no one else in the queue. I then asked for a cup of tea. The woman making the tea didn't know how to make tea. She poured the milk in with the tea bag. Which made it look disgusting.

Went in to this charming looking cafe near my new office. Was hoping i had found a daily spot. However the woman working there was awful. Theres no music in the cafe (which is fine) but the woman behind the counter was BLASTING her phone. Apparently looking at TikTok since every 15 seconds was a new obnoxious song. Completely impossible to sit back and have a relaxing coffee in such an atmosphere. May as well go to a McDonalds as the atmosphere is just as "pleasant", Cannot stand people who lack the basic respect to not annoy others with their phones, will never go there again

The café is charming and full of character. The staff were friendly and make you feel incredibly welcomed.

I was introduced to this cafe by a friend and fell in love- from the mismatched gloriously decadent cups and saucers to the real Italian dishes and sweets on offer. Plus you can look out on the amazing fountain complete with bathing ladies and their discarded possessions around the tub- a camera, ballet shoes, a watch, a purse, books...a quiet little retreat on Shad Thames that transports you to somewhere else- somewhere relaxed and beautiful and quiet- and recharges your soul.

We went for brunch and we really did NOT enjoy it. Service was terrible and there is no proper kitchen so the strong smell of cooked food remains in the café. Food was the worst brunch we’ve ever had. Full of butter, uncooked mushrooms and sausage… My poached eggs very overcooked. Overall, very disappointing.

Worst Italian experience! Ordered a cup of tea and some cake but drank with timer as the shop had to close in 30min. Very bad staff and owner included: no smiles, no thanks no greetings. No service at table, after paid my food, the owner called me from the counter telling : your tea is ready! (Just thought come and get it to the table!). Unbelievable.... I m an Italian and unproud and disgusted from them!
