Came for the Sunday set menu - phenomenal value!! Every course was superb, portions were generous and service was great too, highly recommended!

We had a great time at Artusi - booked a table for our anniversary. Food was fantastic and not your average menu, albeit a little limited. We had a cocktail and some wine, and both were great. Service was nice and friendly. It was a sunny evening and they had the front folding doors open which made it even nicer. Will definitely be back!

Cozy spot for incredible fresh pasta. Their menu rotates every 2 weeks so definitely coming back to try their new seasonal dishes.

Great neighbourhood spot, incredible 3 course lunch deal for £29 on a Sunday. We ordered the whole menu and it was delicious.

Excellent service and a pleasing ambiance. For me the food was just ok. It was all cooked and presented well and very flavoursome but I found it to be somewhat insubstantial.

Had a very nice meal with my sister last night! The food and wine were delicious, the staff friendly but unobtrusive. I was surprised by a salad ingredient that I had never seen before and wish I could remember what it was called - it and the dressing were really tasty. The ambience was busy but chilled - good for a Tuesday night! All in all a very well spent 3 hours! We shall be back xx

Fabulous food and service. Manager was so helpful and friendly. The food was sublime, and great to be able to have a small plate of gnocchi. They were the best I've had for a long time, melt in the mouth and delicious sauce. Will be back for sure

My wife and I have lived on Bellenden Road for twenty years but had never visited before. We decided to have our anniversary dinner there. What a disappointment, it was not worth the wait. The restaurant lacks warmth, both in atmosphere and the personnel. The food was okay, but my wife can cook any of those dishes to a high degree. The pork loin was completely flavourless, no seasoning in the breading (which was a surprise, there was no mention of it being breaded) so I had to ask for salt and pepper just to make it interesting. For the prices we expected food to a much higher quality. Worst of all was the service. Both servers were inattentive, indifferent and ineffective. I resented paying the service fee added to the bill.

I first came here soon after it opened and have been hankering to return ever since. The Sunday lunch set menu is good value, with three courses at £29. I started with a tasty pepperonata (stewed peppers, tomatoes and olives) served with very good bread and ricotta cheese. For main I had a decently sized cotoletta alla milanese which came with a delightfully mustardy salad and well-cooked potatoes. Rounded it off with a silky mascarpone ice cream. Won't leave it so long until my next visit!

Amazing food, top quality. Service was good too. All round excellent experience, the mandarin sorbet was the best sorbet I’ve ever had! 🍊

I had a wonderful meal at Artusi to celebrate my birthday with my family and friends. We were able to have the group table at the back of the restaurant and it was a perfect setting. Lovely atmosphere, delicious food and great value. Would definitely recommend to others and the staff were also lovely.

Really disappointing experience, as I’d heard such good things. The menu was extremely limited - only three main courses to choose from, two of which were vegetarian. The pasta dishes were really bland. The wine list wasn’t good. It honestly felt like the kitchen had run out of ingredients and could only whip up some bland pasta. The service was unenthusiastic and lacklustre.

Top quality food. Refreshing to go somewhere with a ‘curated’ limited menu that reflects the fact the dishes are fresh, chosen and developed by the chef, rather than being generic. Good value for the quality of food.

Everything is done incredibly well. Difficult to impress a diner with a bowl of pasta on a Sunday, but you do it exceptionally well. I love how much thought has gone into your wine selection (please keep that Valpolicella!), service is wonderful and prices sensible. Thank you!

Great neighbourhood Italian. They know their stuff when it comes to flavour combinations. Can’t stop thinking about the sardines and bruschetta. Perfect. Dropped a star because we couldn’t relax between courses as they needed the table back. We were made aware of this in advance and understand the need to maximise covers but 1 hour 45 is not long.

We booked Artusi for a birthday celebration for 14 of us and the staff were absolutely amazing, quick to respond to my queries before the booking and on the night our server was so friendly, attentive and amazing with all of our dietary requirements and requests. The food was absolutely amazing, cooked so well and so tasty - would definitely come here again!

Absolutely wonderful. The only thing that’s going to dent the experience is its inevitable popularity once foodies cotton on to the fact the small menu is delectable. This understated establishment uses locally sourced seasonal ingredients and makes just the best fresh pasta in town

Fabulous, tasty rustic Italian food. Lovely atmosphere, although quite noisy when full. It's a popular restaurant, quite understandably! So close to other tables we got chatting to our neighbours who all agreed what a lovely place it was. Menu is very short so choice is limited, but that didn't worry us.

Had another fantastic meal at Artusi. Great, flavoursome food; a good and well priced wine list and friendly, knowledgeable service. Artusi has never been anything less than excellent.

Food was very tasty, and very reasonably priced, it was a set menu on the day we went so it was extremely limited choice. But well worth what I payed for the quality of the food.

Firstly, lovely staff who made us feel very welcome. Secondly, £29 for a 3 course in these times is unheard of, incredible value. Thirdly, the food was delicious. Hearty, wholesome and seasoned well.

Really lovely, neighbourhood vibe, well-balanced dishes, seasonal menu, nothing too fancy but really tasty and interesting, and they accommodated every single dish without dairy for my girlfriend. Couldn’t ask for more, loved it.

Been meaning to visit this place for a while and finally made it there last night. Lovely simple decor and friendly staff. The menu is small and changes frequently. Everything was delicious (the leeks in particular), we will definitely be visiting again.

Rather disappointed especially given the good I've seen. Visited for the Sunday set menu. The starters were ok. The main dish was disappointing, with watery sauce and little flavour. The dessert was good, but the caramel was too dark and very bitter, not in a nice way. Bit sad as I expected this place to be better. The place got busy so plan your visit and book ahead.

A really lovey small restaurant with a short, but delicious menu. There is an interesting selection of cocktails to start and snacks if you like. The menu had a vegetarian, fish and meat choice for starters, pasta and main courses with a couple of desserts. Everything was absolutely delicious and perfectly balanced, a real treat for the tastebuds.

Had the early bird meal. Was very impressed with the value and food quality, it included a main, drink, desert and it was absolutely perfect for a nice early dinner. The staff were friendly and helpful and the place had a nice atmosphere with good lighting. Will be going back to try the full menu!

My boyfriend and I enjoyed another amazing dining experience at Artusi on Saturday night. A cosy yet buzzy environment. The staff are always so welcoming and friendly, the food is delicious - the menu changes regularly - serving simple seasonal Mediterranean dishes packed with flavour. I had the pasta with Cavolo Nero to start followed by the fresh Mullet. A great wine list to complement the cooking. In would highly recommend a visit. Book in advance as they get busy!

I’ve been wanting to try Artusi for 2 years since I moved to the area and today I finally stepped inside for their Sunday 3 course set menu for £29. Every single dish was full of flavour, the staff were attentive and there was a really nice ambiance, I’ll be back.

I think I’ve just found my new go-to spot! I was driving to a bakery nearby when we stumbled across this gem of a restaurant. It was a Sunday, and we booked a table right away for later that day. The food was incredible—super fresh and bursting with flavour and the service was spot on. Honestly, what more could you ask for? Thanks for making our Sunday evening so lovely!

Don't know where to begin with this excellent spot. The menu changes every 2 weeks. It's an extremely short menu which I absolutely adore. They have a great menu of really delicious aperitif cocktails & a great wine selection. The icing on the cake was we could get any of the dishes gluten free, including the pasta. Service was great too. Literally 0 complaints, can't wait to go back.

Really good restaurant with excellent food and service.

Every now and then I come across a dish that surprises and truly delights, here it’s the pickled sardine starter. The ragu was also so very good, we noticed the starter size has a different pasta to the main, perhaps they ran out but whatever the case the starter was delicious. The mains were nice too but we thought the starters were more stand out. One thing that could be improved is to serve cocktails in nicer glassware, served in a small water glass filled to the brim is not the same experience. Looking forward to next time.

Artusi is consistently great, the service is personal and generous, the food is beautifully prepared and the atmosphere relaxed and friendly. I had my birthday lunch downstairs next to the kitchen with 13 friends which was a lot for the space but it never felt too cramped, it was perfect! Everyone loved the food! Great well designed summer menu, very well executed. There’s a very small choice of dishes but given the small numbers of covers, that means quality is at the forefront. A small but interesting wine list. An excellent neighbourhood restaurant with a much wider reputation.

We had a fabulous meal at Artusi last night. There was a large group of us and the staff looked after us so well! I have eaten at Artusi many times in the past and the big family style table at the back of the restaurant is our favourite place for a big group (up to about 12 people I think). Last night the food was even more delicious than normal and we had a fabulous time. I can’t recommend Artusi highly enough!

This is my favourite restaurant locally. The food is always perfection - I'm never disappointed. Plus it's fantastic value which you can't often say about a London restaurant. I've had birthdays, baby showers and mid-week treat lunches (there's an excellent pasta + glass of wine deal!) here and I hope I'll be returning for years to come.

Adding an update to my previous review - the best team, food and atmosphere. Recommend the chef’s table for groups of 8+. I’ve been for lunch and dinner and both are well worth the visit! Great for groups with amazing platters of food. Staff were friendly and good atmosphere.

We had a delicious, joyous lunch at Artusi after getting married at Southwark Register Office up the road. The restaurant accommodated our large party and a number of tricky food allergies with ease. The staff was incredibly accommodating and made the celebration so special. Artusi is one of our favorite local neighborhood restaurants but I can’t overstate just how world class the food is. Folks visiting from NYC and the far reaches of East London were blown away by the set menu — watermelon and ricotta, pickeled mackerel, homemade crab butter pasta, pork and salsa verde and olive oil cake with fresh peaches. It was all divine!

Absolutely delicious food here, as always! Lovely ambience - relaxed and friendly vibe. We’ll obviously be back!
