You can eat pizza while looking at the view of the Thames River. The turnover rate is fast. I recommend Classic American.

Excellent dining experience, staff were superb and super helpful. Food was stellar and kitchen was surprisingly fast. Perfect location on the Thames waterfront would 100% recommend and I will dine here again

The food was delicious but it took almost an hour to bring the entree and another 40 minutes to bring the pizza. A disaster. I do not recommend this disastrous service at all.

Pizza Express at New Globe in London is a fantastic spot for a meal during a busy day of sightseeing. Its excellent location, right next to the Tate Modern and the Globe Theatre, makes it a convenient choice. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, which adds to the overall pleasant experience. For those with celiac disease, it's a safe haven, offering a variety of gluten-free options. The food is delicious, and the gluten-free pizza is among the best I've ever had.

I had a lovely dining experience here after watching a theatre performance at Shakespeare’s globe . The ambience and atmosphere was cosy with a spectacular view of the river Thames and London’s skyline . Lilika was a lovely server who took great care of us and was accommodating to our requests . Would recommend this place if nearby to Bankside

We had the BBQ meat brisket, potato chips, and drinks, and everything was absolutely delicious! The flavors were spot on, and the overall experience made for a thoroughly enjoyable

They informed us that we will need to order 8 pizzas because we were a group of 8 just because they were “busy”. The guy who we talked to was extremely rude as well. He also seemed overwhelmed because it was busy and seemed to be taking it out on us. Food was still good.

Yes this is a Pizza Express and yes it’s on Southbank, but if you’re in the area and getting hangry I recommend it. We were seated quickly, the pizzas were tasty and the front of house team were really friendly. Plus there was a promo on so it was a bargain.

We waited for an hour and when the food came, it was cold and dried up. We left most of the food (pizza and pasta dishes) on the table; extremely disappointing experience.

Food was delicious. A few issues with voucher redeeming but Jarka managed to sort it :). Staff are very helpful, very well-run and organised.

We booked this branch of Pizza Express for our Christmas meal solely for the views of the Thames. However, a poster completely blocked the window, and the staff outright refused to remove it, despite our repeated requests. This ruined the experience as we couldn’t enjoy the view we specifically came for.

we were in london a few days ago and we needed a bathroom, they were so kind with us that didn’t ate there before! all the staff was so kind and friendly with us! absolutely recommended! especially the lady who welcomed us, the location is real cool and elegant and it gets a view of london that’s magical!

Overall, we had a great time at the pizza making party. Alex made our experience very fun and enjoyable. He was attentive and kind. The only downside was that the pizzas took over an hour to arrive.

I came here with my granddaughter today. It was super busy but Alex P was so helpful and attentive throughout our whole lunch, from finding a seat and advice re: food. The young waiter who served us, sorry, I don't know his name (a young black man) was so friendly and polite. A big thank you to you both. All the staff were working their socks👏👏👏

We popped into Pizza Express the other day and ordered two pizzas. Honestly, for the price, they were really good—no complaints there! But what really stood out was the service. Lilika, our waitress, was amazing—super attentive and genuinely lovely. She made the whole experience feel extra nice.

We got a great table with a direct view of the Thames. The waiter Nuno was super friendly and accommodating. The pizzas we ate were great. Everything around us seemed a bit hectic as there was a lot of customer traffic.

My child’s menu was great! He enjoyed it. My salad was ok and although it was missing the croutons Lilika our waitress rectified it straight away! Her service was excellent.

I had a fantastic experience at Pizza Express! The food was delicious, as always, but what really made the visit special was the service! Jarka was exceptional - so friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. It's rare to find such great service, and Jarka truly made our meal memorable. She also give us great recommendations for the food, and I really enjoyed the vanilla cheesecake ! Highly recommend this location for both great food but especially because of the outstanding customer service! 🙌❤️

I recently visited Pizza Express near the river in Bankside, and I had an exceptional experience. From the moment we arrived, the service was top-notch. After a long time of not being able to visit Pizza Express, we decided to bring memories back. We received warm welcome right from the doors, amazing service throughout whole evening. American hottest Lagera Padana love that classics are still on the menu !!! But diner needed to be finished with honey comb slice, just delicious. Professional staff, they really know what they do- bravo.

I ordered the food 2 hours before it's delivery time to fit in with a meeting lunch break. It hadn't left the restaurant at the time it was due to arrive causing issues with the timings of the meeting meaning the afternoon didn't go to plan.

Lovely dinner! Nuno gets all five of the stars and gave excellent service. So kind and hardworking. The managers however were awful, shouting at their colleagues and standing around doing nothing.

Two floors - downstairs has good views but upstairs has even better views of the Thames between Blackfriars and Southwark bridges, with St Paul's, etc. in the background. The food is great if not a tad on the pricey side if you're used to non-London prices. Some tables are well-lit, and others were quite dark (which made reading the menu not as easy as it could have been). Tables downstairs opposite the kitchen, serving and drinks area were very noisy with oven doors, plates and cutlery rattling and bashing around. Service was friendly, but we had a few minor issues that were resolved but nevertheless left a slight mar on the evening's visit.

Very very tasty. All three pizzas were great. Price okay for the location.

Every restaurant the staff are excellent! Truly. The food is incredible and this is our favorite place to go for pizza (the only place) when we visit London from the US. Tonight was no exception. The restaurant was busy, but Nuno made sure we felt taken care of.

Part of a chain of restaurants. The location is charming, on the banks of the Thames. The Niçoise salad and lasagne were good. The pizza was good, but not up to the standard of an Italian-style pizza. Efficient service.

The Pizza Express—should come with a warning label—“for serious pizza lovers”—the pizza crust options are extensive. The kitchen knows what they are doing. The table side service? Ask for Nora—she represents Pizza Express really well!

Bankside branch has lovely views of the Thames/Southwark Bridge/St Pauls. We thought we would have a nice evening. Far from it!. Waiter approached us just as we sat down asking if we want a drink, we asked waiter to come back in a couple of minutes while we decide. He didn't come back. I had to ask another waiter 15 minutes later. Drinks arrived quickly but the food didn't arrive for another 45 minutes (The restaurant was about 75% empty). The food was cold. We spoke to the manager who asked us what we wanted (I thought it was the manager who should make decisions). My partner had a Leggera Pomodoro which has a whole in the middle for some salad. There was more whole than pizza. Everything apart from the view was awful. It looks like they don't care about customer service or quality of food as it is in an area with a high footfall of customers.

Camarero se acercó a nosotros justo cuando nos sentamos preguntando si queremos una bebida, pedimos camarero volver en un par de minutos mientras decidimos. No ha vuelto. Tuve que preguntarle a otro camarero 15 minutos después. Las bebidas llegaron rápidamente, pero la comida no llegó hasta dentro de 45 minutos (El restaurante estaba aproximadamente 75% vacío). La comida estaba fría. Hablamos con el gerente que nos preguntó qué queríamos (pensaba que era el gerente quien debía tomar las decisiones). Mi compañero tenía un Leggera Pomodoro que tiene un todo en el medio para un poco de ensalada. Había más que pizza. Teníamos las pizzas frías como teníamos hambre, pero no pagamos por la comida, solo las bebidas. El Gerente ni siquiera se disculpó convincentemente. Todo aparte de la vista era horrible. Parece que no les importa el servicio al cliente o la comida de calidad, ya que está en una zona con una alta pisada de nuevos clientes todos los días.
