Delicious pizza and desserts. The staff is extremely nice. If you are looking for a great Italian food in London, visiting this place is mandatory! Sometimes it might be difficult to get a table since the place is very popular, but it's definitely worth waiting.

Crowd pleaser, very tasty pizza at reasonable prices. Recommend the potato and stilton, or chorizo option! You can get a bottle of prosecco here for less than £30.

We reached very late when restaurant about to close but Eva helped us. She gave us really good service with smiley face.

Amazing Italian pizza ; love the simplicity and the food

Everything was outstanding except for the pizza. Maybe we were there at the wrong time but the pizza was mediocre at best. Soggy, little flavor, buffalo cheese was just ok. With so many great options nearby I don’t think I will be returning.

My heartiest thanks to Eva at the Bermondsey street branch for making us feel so welcome and warm. She really looked after us this evening! The two pizzas we ordered were fantastic! I don’t think I’ve had a better Negroni anywhere. And ofcourse-the chocolate hazelnut cake and caramel pecan cheescake were the perfect finish.

Went here for a birthday and it was lovely. Really nice food, not too busy during in the afternoon, and drinks were great as well.

My son and I had lunch here and it was absolutely lovely. The pizza was amazing and the service was really good. My son says that pizza is now one of his favourite foods.

I have no complaints. The food and service was excellent. As for the pizza, the dough was soft and slightly crunchy, the tomato sauce was delicious, and the salami was good and spicy, the caramelized onion added that extra nice flavor to it.

We stumbled upon Franco Manca as it was around the corner from our hotel. We loved it so much, we came back 5 nights in a row! Service was prompt and always with a smile. Shout out to Blo! My eldest and I split a pizza - it was more than enough for the two of us, but heartier appetites could certainly devour a whole pizza to themselves, I'm sure. Their lemon sorbet finished off the meal perfectly. Wish we had a Franco Manca in Canada. We'll be back!!

As a Friday night it was busy, as tourists we’d been recommended this restaurant for pizza. Food was reasonably priced, pizzas - as you would expect from a pizza restaurant - great. Service excellent, our waiter Darius made our evening. Call ahead to check availability on weekends.

It was late and we only really wanted take-out so this was just right for us. Lots to choose from on the menu and we choose one of our standards. It took less than 10 minutes and we carried away a hot pizza to enjoy at our leisure.

Sour dough pizza was amazing! Great flavor. Large size. If coming for lunch. Great to share 1 pizza with another person.

As always the service was very good!!!! Alessandro the assistant manager and Valentina were very nice and they have a particular attention to details that nowadays in very important ! Definitely coming back more often

I ordered two pizzas for me and my daughter and they came undercooked and cold !i was cery disappointed as we usually dine here .I can see in a recent review pizzas are left by the front on top of a bin…disgusting ! I left feedback but nobody responded to me.

Good pizza on sourdough. Unfortunately, the music was so loud that it was impossible to hold a conversation. We escaped elsewhere for dessert. Too bad.

I wish we had found this place sooner. Pizza is superb and vegetables are bursting with flavor. Burrata and buffalo cheeses are so good!

Came here for dinner tonight, and whilst the food was good (the halloumi pizza was rather bland though), I was rather shocked and disgusted that the takeaway orders were placed on top of a bin, in full view. Glad this wasn’t my dinner. Definitely won’t be ordering takeaway from here.

Got a burn pizza They are not so fast and very unispired

Not the best pizza I have ever had, it was below mediocre, place was not clean, there were spiders webs near where they gave me a table. Service was not terrible but it was poor. I was disappointed to be honest. Tables were small. Definitely not a place for a date. Visited as a solo diner, they made me feel welcome, found me a table and I was able to order quickly, the food was delicious as always, hot, fresh and so so good. Staff were friendly and overall vibes were relaxed and pleasant. Prices are good for the portions and I would highly recommend.

Popped in for dinner for the second time this week, pizza no.s 7 & 9 chosen on this occasion, plus a bottle of sangiovese. All delicious, ingredients and flavours putting many other pizza houses to shame. Waiter Stan is both a gentleman and a scholar.

Went to 2 other bars on the same street which we didn't receive any service in, just funny looks. We walked into Franco Manca's and received the friendliest service before we even sat down and the longer we stayed the better it got! Pizza was delicious, everything they say it is and more! Great little place to get a bite to eat. The waiter (Stan) was just so pleasant and professional. If you looking for a warm smile to greet and some delicious pizza, then you have found your place.

Our meal wouldn’t have been the same without Stan. Great guy, great chats, and great taste in shoes. Highly recommend visiting this branch to have a pizza but mainly because Stan will treat you like Kings and Queens. Thanks Stan and we will be back (in my wallabies)

We came to Franco Manca - Bermondsey street, for a last min dinner. We were served by the amazing Stan, who was so friendly and accommodating. The pizza was absolutely divine and so was the negroni! It’s not very often you get a waiter who goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and welcomed, so this branch is worth visiting just for him. Thank you Stan, We will be back!

2024 Update to a 6 year old review: I love this place. Have been coming here many times over the past 2 years, and was always happy. Thank you. --- 2018 Pizza at Franco Manca is good, but this particular place needs more staff or something. Waited for the table in an empty restaurant for 10 mins, then waited to be served for another 15 mins. Decided to leave as a manager of the place was paying more attention to giving a performance rather than serving the customers.

As anyone who knows anything about me knows, I am a big fan of Franco Mancas. Massive. I've visited branches in Leeds, Liverpool, Bristol, Manchester...and now London. And this one didn't disappoint. Tucked away just a stone's throw from Tower Bridge, we were greeted with open arms. The service was excellent and the menu wide ranging and relatively cheap, I thought. It always is at Franca Mancos. Love it here. Just love it. My boyfriend and I shared a simple yet highly effective margherita pizza and some sort of Italian flatbread - the name begins with F, I believe. Foccachia? Excellent place. Cheaper and better than Pizza Express.

We tried it for the first time a couple of nights ago, and we will definitely be back soon. Excellent offer quality-price, and Alessandro's service was exquisite. We will visit him again and continue trying everything he recommended us!!

Came for a very late lunch/ early dinner - Allesandro and the team were so friendly and accommodating, fantastic service could not fault. Food was 10/10 (as always) but the staff were stand out

I've always loved this place and the pizzas are always good but the last time I went the service was really not great!

The food and the service were actually very good. But my salad was advertised with roasted walnuts as one of the main ingredients. After a long search I did finally find something that fitted the description. Even though it was microscopic I enjoyed it. Especially after the challenge of the hunt.

The starters were enjoyable and pizzas were all set at a good price. I was very impressed by Thomas who was not our main server, but was friendly and checked in on our table’s needs.

Went in for a pie and tiramisu. The venue was very lively for a Friday night. Staff were plentiful and attentive. Pizza felt as though it had been sitting for a while, otherwise I would have rated it 5 stars. Would certainly go again.

Don't order for delivery. They don't check orders, miss items, Uber eats then fob you off with nonsense.

Update 2024: still very good. Went for an early Dinner before a team event for work. Ordered in advance over the phone because we only had an hour and they were super helpful and had everything ready for us to eat as soon as we sat down and ordered our drinks. Service was very efficient and we even had time for desserts! Staff shortages have obviously been resolved. Still great value for a meal out in Central London too Good Pizzas at reasonable prices, especially for London and the specials are always worth a look. Service was a little slow to take our order and get and pay the bill, but this was likely due to the current industry-wide staff shortages, which are obviously outside their control and hopefully only a short term problem. It was also quite busy for a Wednesday lunchtime during the Easter school holidays. Otherwise consistently reliable, having visited a number of times before and now after the Pandemic and it remains one of my preferred lunchtime options. Would definitely recommend and go back again

The restaurant is near the London bridge station rather than the Bermondsey station and has some of the swift service out of the franco Manca. Really love the pesto and cheese and the dough!!!!

Decent service. Beef ragu pizza was ok but might not get again as it tasted a bit too much like spaghetti bolognaise Drinks were nice and the ambience was also good!

One of our pizzas we ordered came without the egg that was on it because it had run out. But instead of saying this before, they told us after the pizzas had arrived at our table.

Today's lunch at Franco Manca featured the usual delightful pizza, but the overall experience was marred by slow service. Surprisingly, with only nine tables and three floor staff, the service fell short of expectations.

I've ordered from them often and it was always good. This was the first time that i actually got to sit in the restaurant and enjoy the environment of it. My dad ordered the gluten free crust and it was really good! They also offer vegan and veg options. The only downside for me were lots of kids.

This is my second at Franca Manco which I try and avoid because they are everywhere so I only dine here when I run out of options. To be honest, their pizzas are not bad. I had the Traditional halloumi D.O.P. cheese, organic tomato, roasted potatoes with onions, mozzarella, marinated baby plum tomatoes with mint & seasonal pesto (light tomato base) pizza. The pesto is actually quite nice but overall a bit plain so adding the optional lamb sausages may have made it tastier. Finished with the chocolate with blood orange ice cream which was not bad but the chocolate flavour wasn't too smooth and it was powdery while the orange was not refreshing.

Best pizza in town, also excellent service. I highly recommend if you want to try the original napoletan pizza. Number 7 my favourite

Called 3 times to make a reservation. After saying “hello, I would like to reserve” Franco Manca hung up the phone each time. Rude.

Pizza was ok. It could be more flavoured but it's fresh and decent. The butternut squash and goat's cheese salad was disappointing. You can tell it's made of one of those Tesco mixed leaves salad bags, and it wasn't too fresh. It hardly has any roasted walnuts, cranberries or sultanas, so it was quite poor.

They seated our party of 16 in about 5 minutes of walking up. The food was amazing.

Wir waren am späten Abend vor Ort. Der Service war mit der Situation sichtlich überfordert und der Aufenthalt mit 1x Getränk, 1x Vorspeise und je 1x Pizza (2 Personen) erstreckte sich über knapp 2h. Auf die nicht mehr verfügbaren Zutaten wurden wir leider erst bei der Bestellung aufmerksam gemacht. Die Speisen waren lecker jedoch wurde auf beiden Pizzen das Basilikum „vergessen“. Auf Nachfrage teilte man uns mit dieses sei ebenfalls aus. Der bestellen Dip blieb leider aus und eine Nachfrage war bis nach dem Essen nicht möglich, da wir ignoriert wurden. Alles in allem trotz leckerer Speisen ein sehr enttäuschender Abend.

Service was slow, it took nearly 20 minutes for our deinks order to arrive. Food was great, although they did get my order wrong, then corrected it so most of my table had almost finished by the time mine arrived. The pizza was delicious!
