Franco's Ristorante Pizzeria in Hyndburn

Last minute decision to go here for an impromptu meal... having not booked we waited about half an hour for a table,but so glad we did...the food(cajun chicken penne and beef tagliatelle plus a garlic bread n fries) was superb,hot and delicious.and at just over 20quid each(plus a tip) including a drink,really good value. Definitely worth a visit.

My 4th visit to Franco's with family. Always great food, outstanding service from Steph and the team. We will of course return!

Best Italian restaurant around, food is amazing and the staff are fantastic

Been here loads of times but tonight was rubbish menu had changed slightly so couldnt have my usual not a problem but i choose chicken instead carrots hard but could eat .Broccoli so hard inedible and chicken poor no gravy apparently extra ! spaghetti short on meat garlic mushrooms not as good as usual Very dissapointed as this has always been our go to place

Visited with my partner ( who’s birthday it was) and a friend, was greeted immediately and shown to a table, restaurant was clean, the decor is amazing, drinks order taken within a few minutes and arrived soon after all 3 drinks we’re lovely. Food order taken by stacey, what a lovely staff member very personable as if we had been friends years, this young women is a credit to your business and deserves a big shout out, food we had were - starters were bruschetta, and cheesy garlic bread all very tasty, mains were cannelloni, salmon and mushroom pasta, deserts were apple and cinnamon crumble and ice cream, all food was lovely and cooked to perfection. We were extremely well looked after from start to finish, also need to give a shout out to the young lad ( sorry we never got your name) that brought out our deserts he was as lovely as stacey, want to say a big thankyou for the happy birthday you sang to my partner it was a great touch. I hope the owners / managers know how much of a great staff team you have you can see all the staff actually really enjoy their jobs. Again thank you Francos for a lovely evening . Francos is such a lovely restaurant and still is. We arrived tonight to be greeted by Giovanni who always gives everyone a warm welcome & is such a lovely gentleman. We chose starters and main meals and shared a desert all of these were really nice. It was mid week and the place started getting quite busy which was good to see a local business getting on its feet again post pandemic & long may it continue 💕

Fab place, quick service food was lovely, big portion sizes. Prices are comparable with the area. Staff were friendly & helpful.

Food was excellent and well priced. We ordered the pizzas and one was gluten free. Both had been perfectly cooked and fresh. Restaurant staff are friendly and the food did not take long to come out. Would highly recommend 👌

14 of us dined there this evening. We had 2 starters, 4 mains, 4 desserts and 1 glass of wine for £85. I think that is fair value compared to the majority of restaurants. Everyone enjoyed there meals in a nice friendly atmosphere.

I had no idea this place existed until a friend invited me for tea and it was absolutely stunning. The people serving were really friendly and helpful, the food was incredible and we couldn’t believe how reasonably priced it was! Plenty of choice and everything was delicious. We also liked that the main meals came as a choice of small or large, all of ours were “small” but definitely enough! Would also like if they offered custard with the crumble. Will definitely return!

Such a shame the food let it down , the garlic mushrooms were very bland , the sauce was thick and no taste , would’ve been better with fresh garlic and fresh herbs and the sauce less thick and more flavour. Had the pizza and asked for fresh garlic , it was lazy garlic , which does not give it a good flavour also the cheese they used on the pizza and garlic bread tasted strange , had an unpleasant texture and was certainly not authentic mozzarella cheese ! If they changed to fresh garlic and real mozzarella cheese I would go back as the place was great , little dated but the staff and atmosphere was great

We had a group of 25 on a Sunday night and every single person had a delicious meal, one of the lovely ladies even got colouring things for the kids and took photos for us as it was a farewell meal. Infallible food, incredible value and beautiful atmosphere/staff. Highly recommend!

Amazing food, which came really quickly. The staff were so nice and gave the children so colours and book so that we could all chat to our group of friends. I can honestly say if you have never been you are definately missing out. Highly recommended

Lovely welcoming restaurant with a great atmosphere, we had olives to share as a starter, canelloni and steak for main and lemon sorbet and sticky toffee pudding for desert, perfect portiin sizes all tasty and fresh, loved it

Loved the atmosphere in Franco's! The staff are something else - I've never felt so attended to, nothing was too much for them. Special mention to Stacey who really took the time out to chat with us and just clearly loved her job. The food was great and I was bowled over by how reasonable the price was. Will definitely be back!

Amazing from start to finish, seated immediately to a lovely clean table, menus brought straight away, drink order taken no wait at all. Starter was a garlic bread with half of it having cheese on, lovely tasty and hot. Mains were chicken pasta in a tomato, garlic and chilli sauce, very tasty and filling. Deserts were the edible garden, this was presented lovely and was tasty with edible sugar bugs. All the staff and the new owners were lovely and friendly, but would like to give a big thankyou and shout out to stacey who made sure our evening was lovely, she is a credit to the owners and an asset to your business. Visited this restaurant for the first time 30/03/2023 for a family meal for husbands birthday and will definitely be back. This place is excellent ,a pleasant welcome on arrival, staff very helpful/ friendly and attentive and the food was excellent. Restaurant has a lovely warm atmosphere Will definitely be recommending to friends and family.

We have visited twice both times we booked last minute and both times we have been accommodated. The food has been lovely each time and you can physically see how hard the kitchen staff work. You can see the staff and the kitchen communicate well. The food is fresh and tasty and the service is good.

Turned up to Franco's on a busy Saturday night to find out we hadn't booked, one of our party of 6 had forgotten 😳 The staff were extremely accommodating and rallied to find a table for us, they were extremely helpful and friendly. The service was brilliant and the food on every course delicious. We had a lovely evening. Thank you to all the staff.

My first visit to this place. Quite impressed by the menu. Italian is not my favourite but I enjoyed the starter and main course I had It appeared to be very busy but the service was excellent and prompt. Recommend booking if possible before you go.

Lovely restaurant, with great priced food , very friendly waiters , nice atmosphere .

My wife rang at approximately 6pm to ask how long the wait would be for a table for two, (they only take bookings for parties of 4 or more). She was told if we arrived in the next half an hour we might have a short wait of half an hour or less. We arrived to be told we would have to wait due it being busy and told to go upstairs and order drinks. . We didn’t mind the wait however after waiting for over an hour, I approached the woman at front of house to ask how much longer we would have to wait. She told us that there were still 2 couples before us! We have been regular customers for nearly 4 years since moving to the area and until change of ownership we have never had any issues. The food and service had always been excellent. They need to have a more organised booking system or tell people that they’re fully booked when they’re that busy. We ended up leaving without eating and by then it was too late to go elsewhere.

Visited with family last Friday night . Asked for a table for 5 at 5.30 pm but were pushed forward to 5pm . Not a big deal for us . Food was very good and the service was fine . Reason I didn’t give 5 stars was because we were served by 5 different members of staff . Two young lads served us mechanically , no great charisma and interest in us at all . Overall well worth recommending as a good valued Italian restaurant

Been going to Franco’s for years and it is always stellar. Visited again in July this year and the staff are friendly, food brilliant and the prices reasonable.

I’ve been coming to Franco’s for many years and have never been disappointed. Visited recently with my partner and as always the food was great, the staff really friendly and all at a reasonable price.

Average. But nice food. Never been before. And would go again. Not overpriced and nice staff. 1st time here. They are very accommodating and will alter your dish to your taste. It is not exceptional. But if you want to treat yourself for a reasonable price. It is still a nice go to place.

Great value and nice family atmosphere. My partner and her family have been coming here for years and it's easy to see why. The staff are really friendly, they're happy with kids around and you can't fault the quality for the value, so every time we come it's always an all round pleasant experience

Great staff friendly Food Amazing. They always welcome us and our young person Liam who is Disabled. The smile on his face as we enter Francos says it all. Its definitely Wheelchair friendly.

went to Franco’s for a date night with my other half last Saturday now this sounds like a weird complaint but the food was far too quick and not great quality. We ordered starters and less than 3 minutes they were at the table. My Brie starter was defiantly not fresh it tasted pre-made or frozen which is disappointing as we came to francos last year and I got the Brie and it was great. The mains were out even quicker. Me and my partner had drinks and 2 courses in half an hour we barely felt like we’d had a date. Felt very rushed and The food was nothing like what we had last time we went. so disappointed.

Fantastic food brilliant service best i have had in long time

We booked for a hen party of 9 people. The table wasn't ready for 7pm, the booked time, they also had a large private party of 30 people for a birthday party as as the usual Saturday evening crowd. As s result the service left s lot to be desired as they were obviously short staffed. We arrived at 7pm. The table was ready for around 7.10pm. We had to ask a server after 20 minutes to take our drink orders. We had to chase the drink orders with the server taking our menu order 20 minutes after our drink order was put in. Our starters came to the table 30 minutes after ordering. Our main meals came more than an hour after our starters. By this time the birthday party had broken up but the damage was done. The food was OK but not worth a 3.5 hour stay at the restaurant. Overall, very disappointing

Excellent food, shame about the service. We booked here for a hen do but they had a party of 30 upstairs. It took them half an hour to get our drinks ordered another 20 mins to order our food. And we had to keep asking them when the food was coming. Let's just hope we don't get a parking fine for overstaying at the 2 hour parking car park behind.
