Easily the best pizza in the local area. This was a five star review until maybe nov 2023 Never used to have an issue on any order, in the last couple of months we have had two orders incomplete and wrong with items missing each time.

Proper good food, decent portions and always a friendly reception, weather it's pizza or pasta just can't fault it

Collected the food only to get home and have the pizza wrong and found we had been given two portions of chips that we hadn’t ordered instead of aspen fries. Rang up to be told I would have to wait an hour for my food if I didn’t want to collect and no refund was offered as I had been over charged. Disappointing and poor customer service.

Always enjoyed the pizzas from Francesco's but really disappointed this evening. After waiting 90 minutes recieved an email advising me the order had been cancelled as we hadn't answered the door. We were watching out for the driver and there was no knock on the door. Didn't see anyone arrive. Rang up to check what had happened. Couldn't get a word in edgeways, no options given. Order cancelled. They may have been too busy to deal with us but I feel poor customer service. Poor.

We ordered a large take away on Saturday evening.The staff were helpful and friendly when we phoned our order through.All of the food including various pizzas, pastas and garlic bread was enjoyed by all....hot,tasty and freshly prepared.We will definitely be back.

Easy to order, prompt delivery. Very quick to sort a mistake and felt like it wasn't an issue to rectify. To top it off the food was lovely. If you haven't tried this place, you must.

The best pizza in Lancashire, bar none. It doesn't matter where I go, and I travel alot for both business and pleasure - nothing beats their pizza. Also, the staff are super friendly on the rare occasion I've eaten there.

Ordered a pepperoni pizza and Mexican garlic bread. Fast nd promt delivery and both were made in proper Italian style pizza. Very very tasty the best I've had since Toni's pizza sold there souls a few years ago. With both Italian takeaways now gone from Great Harwood, this will be my new go to Italian. Would highly recommend 👌👌

Delivery ordered, was told it would be hour and quarter, it eventually turned up over two hours later. No apologies from driver, in fact he was extremely rude. Predictably the food was luke warm. Pizzas were pretty tasteless, won't be using again.

When ordering, I was told our food would be delivered in an hour and a quarter. It didn’t turn up for two hours! And no apology. Won’t be ordering from them again.

Delicious authentic Italian pizza and pasta, also recommend the aspen fries they are extremely tasty, fast delivery service too

This is not Italian. No meat on Bolignese pizza for a start..what was it? .Zero chicken on pollo pizza and paid extra for mushrooms. Poor salad, no rocket, spinach, cheap cheese and rubbish chicken and paid extra for onions. Aspen fries absolutely awful, cheap frozen chips coated in cheap garlicky seasoning. first and last time. Yuk! £32.00 , DISGUSTING

Pathetic...If I wanted to eat cold pizza I would have gone to Iceland. Two in Two. Should have learned the first time... Menu now in the bin.

The food was amazing and the owner was extremely friendly. They are very accommodating and will let you order things that aren't on the menu as long as they have the ingredients. Definitely worth a visit. The pricing is very fair too as your getting freshly cooked food not the usual takeaway greasey mess

A couple of things we observed while there included, the pizza boxes placed on the floor and one of the staff kept rubbing the cornmeal (the powder used when shaping pizza) and his dead skin cells from his hands all over the cornmeal on the counter ready for the next pizza 🤢 The pizza was meant to be 12” but it was more like a stretched 9” as the base had little substance-it was very floppy and they don’t even use Garlic Butter on the garlic bread, how strange. For those hygiene reasons, we wouldn’t recommend

Francesco's i rate him 101 if you really want italian pizzaa original italian specially napoleon that is the best place if you want temporary pizza can go any where i just suggested gust try and reply online uber up to you guys

One of the best Italian Pizza restaurant in Clayton. Have tried ,Veg and Chicken Swetcorn Pizza and few Pastas the taste was really delicious. Will recommend this restaurant.

It used to be a good pizzeria but not for the last two orders we've had. Pretty tasteless and TINNED mushrooms on the pizza. How lazy do you have to be (not to mention the total lack of care of fresh produce that you use) Wont be going again I'm afraid. Plenty more options out there.

Outstanding food and service. Celebrated our boy's 10th Birthday. Francesco and his fabulous team provided everything from familiar atmosphere, fantastic aromatic Italian custom made pizza and add ons, mouth watering desserts, velvet coffee, Birthday card with handwritten wishes from all, gifts and pictures not to mention cosy interior and heavenly aroma at the entrance leaving forever memories of that special day. They made our spontaneous visit with no booking extra special. Recommended wholeheartedly.

ordered last weekend for the first time and the pizza was fantastic, even the chips were very good, all piping hot. Ordered again tonight, and the pizza was cold, as were the chips. Very disappointed!

Best Italian ive had in a long time

The sauces are fantastic . Pizza was a stodgy base but toppings were very good. Ribs were very tasty but a lot of muscle gristle compared to meat. Seems to be a bit hit and miss with each visit

Excellent quality every time. Love that tenderstem brocoli is on the veggie pizza. Not too sure on the mushrooms though, they would be better if they were fresh and not tinned.

Absolutely amamzing, top class pizza, Halal chicken used, customer service exceptional and for the icing on the cake Francesco Alex, Amir kindly played one of my favourite artist from Itay Andrea Bocelli! A wonderful end to my evening, Thankyou so much will be back here for sure :)

Love love love this place !! It is our favourite take away and we use it as a fantastic treat!! The pizzas are really tasty and I have also had the pasta on different occasions too, all really tasty and it is like you've ordered and eaten in the restaurant rather than take away. Worlds apart from the generic greasy Pizzas you get in most places. The dough is amazing and really light instead of being really stodgy. Restaurant quality.

Tried for the first time tonight.what can I say it was absolutely lovely.we will definitely be getting takeaway from here again.

After await of just under two hrs which we was told that it would be, unfortunately the food was Luke warm, mushrooms missing off the garlic bread, otherwise would have been a good pizza. Wouldn't rush back

First takeaway visit on recommendation, brilliant , tomato paste was sweet not bitter plenty of toppings 9/10, second visit not as many toppins so average , third visit well below average tomatoe paste bitter Quattro less less toppings . Veg abysmal, sorry but not consistent so never going a gain

Best pizza takeaway in a 20 mile radius, trust me I've tried them all. You only need ho smell the food cooking in the shop for that true italian experience. They also do pasta dishes which I need to try soon ,cant wait 👍

Love both clayton and clitheroe, great staff, friendly atmosphere and fantastic food, what else can you want.

Would honestly recommend to anyone (and often do!) the food is consistently delicious at both the Clayton and Clitheroe premises. Always my first choice for pizza or pasta. They certainly have the best garlic bread I've ever had from anywhere.

Cant begin to tell how nice their pizzas are, fresh and hot when delivered .

Just had a lovely meal at Francescos with all the family for two birthdays. Food was freshly made and staff were very attentive especially Alex. Will definitely visit again.

Restaurant quality food. You are greated by friendly helpful staff who are willing to help in anyway possible. Food is all fresh and produced in front of you whilst you wait. Customers need to bear in mind busy periods you will have to wait a bit longer but quality cant be rushed, will be back very soon.
