Casa Mia Restaurant in City of London, Westminster

Stumbled upon this place after sightseeing for the day and thought I’d give it a try. Ended up being some of the best Italian food I’ve ever had. Garlic bread and anchovy pizza was absolutely insane

Best food I have ever had in England and I have been coming here since 1980. The Salmon Parmesan was one of the best meals ever, and the salmon with roast potatoes in a tomato and oil sauce was only a half step behind it. The tiramisu and lasagna are also world class, and yes, I have literally been all over the world. 3,000,000 + million airline miles after 23 years in the Navy and Air Force,which took me to many places as well.

We've been to 3 Italian restaurants during our trip, and up until now they've all been at best just OK. This one was really, really good! I had lasagna and garlic bread, and it was exceptional - the lasagna was delivered to my table with the cheese still literally bubbling. And they did not skimp on the cheese either, it was close to 1/4 inch thick! The atmosphere and service was great as well. It's a small place, but very nicely decorated and they even include pillows for the bench seats by the wall. I've never been to a place that did that before, and now I wonder why they all don't - what a great idea! Do note that they include a 12.5% service charge in addition to the menu prices, but even with that it was still very reasonable - we got two entrees, soft drinks, and garlic bread and the total including everything was just barely over £20 a person. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for great Italian food at a good price.

Lovely place, great food and the staff are friendly and welcoming.

The service is very gentle and polite, the food is delicious, also there are not stairs so everyone can come. I have eaten the salata salmone, it is very goood, i recommend the place 100%. Very delicious ❤️

Stumbled across this small restaurant. Really pleased we did, reasonably priced excellent food. Nothing was too much trouble. The menu is limited, but had plenty for our family of four to choose from who each ordered something different. We all loved the meals we had and the arrabiata sauce was the best I’ve ever had. Just wish I knew the recipe!

The service was pretty good,but not the same for the food. The pizza didn't have any flavor, the Bolognese spaghetti was kinda tasteless... the soup with the mushrooms and parmesan was pretty good actually. I dont think i would recommend it.

We ordered mushroom pasta with shrimp and red sauce, unfortunately it was normal, and we ordered pasta with salmon and white sauce, which was very nice, with a margherita pizza. They took 7.5 pounds and 10 to open on the Christmas holiday. They took 17.5 pounds unlawfully.

El restaurante es bonito, elegante. Aunque el baño de un poco de asco, desentona bastante. La comida es económica pero insípida, le falta algo, le falta sabor. No me ha gustado que cobren un suplemento del 12'5% sobre el precio del tiquet. Ok que lo avisa en la carta, pero no estoy acostumbrado. Propina no he dejado. Considero que ese extra será para eso.

Best italian restaurant we've been to during our stay in London. We had the Penne Pesto and Burger Americano, which both tasted genuinely made. Would definitely recommend, especially if you're on a budget considering how pricey London is becoming.

Well, very dirty place, very dirty,full of muck everywhere you looked at ,i cant imagine what's the status in the kitchen, we had pizza and spaghetti,food below average and nothing fresh about it, or in a few words an one star experience.

Rude service . We went here for dinner and the man there who took our order kept pushing us to order more and also pushed us to order more drinks inspite of us saying we had already ordered enough for all of us and that we did not need any more . He would not listen and said it was a Saturday night and we could not have water and HAD to have something to drink ! We were extremely irritated and left the place . I wonder if he would have behaved the same way if we were of a different nationality ....

I went twice with my parents almost two weeks ago and it was PERFECT. We will definitely go back when we have the chance to visit the UK again. Too bad in Spain there's not any restaurant that is near as good as this one. The first time we had risotto, boloñesa and the steak and everything was perfect. The second time we had a pizza with my mother (the pineapple one) and my father ate a hamburger, which was delicious. I definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for good food at a good price. Thank you so much for everything!

We just had a lovely evening at Casa Mia in Queensferry. There were plenty of people eating inside which gave me confidence and other reviews weren’t bad. I really wanted a Pollo Arribiata so I was looking forward to it. I wasn’t disappointed with the flavour or texture of the meat or the rest of the dish. No pasta but potato and capsicum included. It was beautiful! My son enjoyed his burger too, we were both full after our meals. The staff members were very friendly and got our orders correct, were not rushed and made a very pleasant evening for us. Thank you 🙏

Nice restaurant with delicious food, however we had a slight incident when we visited. My daughter found a metal fibre in her burger which looked like it was from a pan scourer. She almost choked on it. Luckily she pulled it out of her mouth and she was fine, but that could have been more serious if it had gotten stuck in her throat. I didn't mention it to the staff but I should have done, as my daughter just wanted to leave. I'm sure it was a one off, but the chef should be more vigilant about this in future. Nevertheless our meal was lovely. But I have to deduct points for the metal fibre.

Our food was salty and the waiter confused our order three times. The food is worth for the price, our main was 10 pounds, but it won’t be the best option if you are looking for a really good italian restaurant

The food is not just bland, it's just bad. The Pizza tasted like a frozen supermarket pizza, the Caprese was drowning in some strange pesto, and risotto was more cheap parmesan than anything else. We didn't get sick, so that's a plus, but yeah, do yourselves a favor and go somewhere else.

I loved this restaurant! The waiters were very friendly and immediately took our order. We had the Pollo Burger and the Burger Americano. Both were served with chips and ketchup & mayonnaise. The food arrived quickly and the burgers were very delicious. Only thing that could’ve been better were the fries, they could’ve been more crispy. Everything else was great. Beautiful ambience and nice music, very quiet and calm restaurant :)

難吃到我必須上來評論一番。 首先那個前菜calamari是炸魷魚卷，魷魚完全沒有味道就算了，口感像台灣的年糕，是糯米的口感…到底是什麼做的？居然有網友說是全倫敦最好吃的魷魚，是不是瘋了！？ 義大利麵味道還可以，但是就是一般奶油味灑上起司粉，麵條的部分太過軟爛，我第一次全部都沒吃完，超難吃的。到底為什麼會有4分以上？

This place is really confusing. Tiki Hawaiian themed + musical instruments + playing horrible country music... Wow I can't even make this up. I am not giving a bad review for the "ambience" but for the horrible food. Noodles were barely cooked/boiled and very hard. Sauces tasted like jarred. Or there was no sauce. Either no flavor or well... No flavor + salt. I gobbled up half of it because I was starving. But wow. Go there if you're starving and everything else is closed. Don't go there expecting good. This was horrendous. The waitstaff was super friendly - so don't blame them for horrible food!

The food looked like pure prison slobber. I was so disappointed. Every bite was so forced because I didn’t want to waste my money. I finally had enough as the overwhelming cream taste infiltrated my senses. It might as well have been rice pudding from a tin. Absolutely traumatised and I won’t be able to eat a risotto again without thinking of this ordeal. The cucumber in my salad was not even chopped properly it was like lego pieces. At least it was a fresh cucumber.

Food was very tasty but not sure if the host/waiter was having a bad night or this is usual. We heard other diners complaining that their meals weren’t what they ordered. Sure enough it happened to me - I orfdered spaghetti alla carbonara but instead received spaghetti salmons. I ate it since I was hungry but it seems they screw up on your order. Beware

Una estafa! Yo os aconsejo huir de allí y buscar otro sitio. Para empezar la masa de las pizzas no llevaba sal, en segundo lugar el queso de la margarita olía a que estaba en un estado dudoso, y la calzone iba bien rellena de cebolla y pimientos en crudo. Te cobran un 12.5% de la factura, por un servicio pésimo (no nos traía los cubiertos y se le olvidaban las cosas todo el rato). El agua de plástico (del tiempo) cuesta casi 3£, por ese precio espero, por lo menos, una botella de cristal fría. Para terminar el camarero ya se terminó de coronar, cuando no nos devolvió 6 peniques de cambio directamente, sin devolvernos la factura. Sé que es una miseria, pero cuando ya me has cobrado el 12,5% de la factura en propinas, espero poder decidir yo si dejo algo más o no. Nada recomendable

Il peggior posto dove io abbia mai mangiato... la cosa più fastidiosa è che usano il nome di ristorante ITALIANO ma di italiano non c'è proprio nulla! Risotto ai gamberetti orribile...gli manca proprio la base al cuoco! Sono scioccato, mah!

I had a wonderful dinner with my boyfriend at Casamia. The staff was very polite and attentive, and the meals were absolutely DELICIOUS. The steak I ordered was one of the best steaks I have ever had, and the risotto my boyfriend had was divine. I would definitely recommend this place to all my friends, and will come back to Casamia next time I am in the are!

Vår familj på två vuxna och tre barn i åldrarna 9, 12 och 15 år åt middag. Barnen tog pizza, pasta och stor hamburgare. Jag tog risotto med kyckling och frugan tog lax. Allt smakade bra, väl tillagat och varmt. Bra service, maten kom in lagom fort. Vi var mycket mätta och nöjda. Liten lokal, inte för mycket stim, vi kunde prata utan att skrika. Inredningen dämpar ljudet till skillnad mot de andra restaurangerna vi tittade på först.

This place is dirty and has nothing To do with Italian food, it’s just a cheap take-away pretending to make Italian food and on top of that we got a hair on our food.

This place is a gem in an ordinary environment. In my experience, not many restaurants in this tourist district care much about what they are serving. Finding exellent tastes and fresh quality product at Casamia was a revelation. I´ve had calamares, bruschetta as starters and various pasta dishes, all exellent but the Carbonara was sublime. This restaurant is worth a better location to be able to build a steady clientele and not have to rely on chance one-time customers. I do hope these rewiews will help to attract guests to this superb but unassuming place.

An excellent place for dining with friends.

The location of this Casamia restaurant on 27 Queensway, in the tourist district, is a tragedy. It prevents it from getting a steady clientele it so well deserves. Tourists happen on the place, marvel at the tastes and quality and leave for home. During my recurring visits to London I have eaten my way through the restaurants of Queensway, always close to my hotels, but after finding Casamia I change no more. They serve dishes of a marvelously exquisite taste, no frills, and always pleasantly presented by an attentive personell. Let me specially recommend the Carbonara! Don´t miss it!

Miam miam miam. Quel délice !!! I am on holidays and I stopped by this incredible Italian place in London, and honestly... No regret. The food was so Yummy. For sure, I will be back. It was absolutely disgusting and terrible meal and place. Table and dishes smelled very bad. I said to the waiter and the owner. They said me their dishes never smells. What a explanation it is…I could not eat my meal. Even if they say they are using extra virgin olive oil in their meals, I saw the cheapest oil in the kitchen side.

On the first night of our London holiday we went to Casa Mia for dinner. We had garlic brea, a Polo Picante Pizza and a bottle of Montipuciano red wine. We are foodies from Australia. We were so impressed we came back a week later on our final night to have the same meal. Well done and thank you. One of the best pizzas we have ever had.

Ambiance chaleureuse et agréable. La pizza végétarienne n'est pas faite maison, la pâte ressemble à du surgelé. Le fish and chips était bon.

So cosy restaurant with lovely stuff. The pizza and steak was very delicious, but greek salad…that was gorgeous! I really love this place and want to recommend it! If you want to feel calm in noisy London-this place is perfect.

Don’t judge a book by its cover. The place definitely needs some updating as its a bit worn out inside, but the food we had was really nice, service was good and the waiter was lovely and helpful. A ‘no frills’ Italian, good for a quick lunch stop.

Amazing! The waitress was nice and welcoming, the portions are big we tried salmon spaghetti and lasagna and they taste sooo good. The chocolate cake was delicious as well! Approved by italians, we'll definitely come back

Waited 30 minutes for a pizza and in the end it gave me cancer. I could fly to Italy and back for cheaper and get a real Italian pizza, and it wouldn't give me cancer. Wouldn't recommend

Restaurant italien sur le papier, pizza digne des plus grande marque surgelés. Base de margarita surgelés qu'ils complète en fonction des ingrédients de la pizza choisi. Pâte dur et goût de pizza surgelés. Pas d'eau du robinet, bouteille à 2.5£ les 50cl.. Serveur peu agréable. Passez votre chemin
