Yesterday we had one of the best Italian dishes ever as a family of 6. It starts with an excellent starter, such as the delicious bruschetta. This was followed by delicious pasta spaghetti bolognese and lasagne. Rounded off with an incredibly tasty dessert. If you're looking for an Italian restaurant in London, this is the place for you.

Cute Italian place with delicious food. Went on a Wednesday night and had the asparagi alla parmagiana, spaghetti Bolognese, and pollo con pepperoni and 2 glasses of wine each. For dessert, tiramisu.

A hidden gem. No GF pasta although plenty other choice. The food was amazing and fresh. The only thing was only me and my friend and another couple...very quiet and such a shame for the owner. Didn't agree with a 12.5% gratitude charge...we obvs didn't pay it!

What a wonderful hidden gem. A few minutes walk from London Victoria station and the Hamilton theatre. Lovely traditional Italian food, friendly service at a reasonable price. Bread and olives with oil and balsamic is good. Favourite was the crab ravioli. Also chicken with fungi sauce. Good house wine too. Highly recommended.

I found this restaurant through Tripadvisor and it did not disappoint. We went for lunch before going to the theatre for my sister’s birthday. We booked online and went on their first day back open after Christmas. The manager was lovely, we were talking for ages. The food was beautiful and fresh. Altogether a lovely experience.

We were the only 2 customers in the whole restaurant. They never had any campari. An espresso martini was too much work. So we both had aperol spritz. The penne bolognese was average at best (I make a better one at home if im totally honest). Positive the host was friendly. Apart from that, it was a very underwhelming experience.

Honestly their food is off the charts amazing Bolognese is best I’ve ever had and their tiramisu was top notch Can’t fault them at all 10/10 all around

This is such a lovely place to go for great quality food. I had the risotto alla pescatora whilst my wife the grigliata di pesce and both dishes was fabulous. Compliments to the chef and his team. The owner of the restaurant was very lovely and welcoming. This place is highly recommended for people who wants great Italian food with an great atmosphere.

Paid a visit to this italian restaurant on Kings Coronation bank holiday. Nice ambience and comfortable, not very busy about 4 other table covers occupied. Crab Ravioli was decent. Pricing reasonable by London standsrds

Simple Italian is a good Italian. This restaurant might be too simple in it's looks. Food was ok

2 Amici, erg veel geld uitgegeven voor het avondeten waarbij de lasagne koud geserveerd werd. De lasagne werd meegenomen om opgewarmd te worden. Dit duurde zo lang dat de andere hun eten op hadden. De lasagne kwam terug en was zo heet dat de onderkant verbrand was. Ik heb er wat van gezegd echter was de rekening geen cent minder hierdoor.

Excellent meal with great service and atmosphere!

We went to 2Amici on the last evening of our visit in London. Mario was a gracious and attentive host. The drinks and the food came out promptly. We ordered the bread and olive basket, the asparagus appetizer and seafood. The food was excellent. The level of music was just right - we could have a nice conversation. The decor was tasteful, and the restaurant was clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner.

Very friendly staff, tasty Italian food, quiet restaurant.

We’ve been coming here for years - my husband’s favourite local Italian, especially when he’s on his own - without fail he will pay Mario a visit for his usual Veal Milanese, or one of the delicious pastas. This time we had Penne with Chicken & Broccoli, and Spaghetti with Mushrooms & Ham - cooked to perfection & so tasty. The serves are always so generous. This is a cosy & comfortably place that offers great quality food.

We have now watched 5 other tables come in after us, get fed and ready to leave while we are still waiting for our food. Been well over 1 hour since we ordered. If you don’t want to be fed, eat hear. If you do, please go elsewhere. Can’t comment on the food as it appears we cannot get fed.

This is the best Italian restaurant in the area, the Napolian staff are lovely and accomadating, the food was sublime the spag bol and chicken escalope is out of this world! Definitely recommend, I went ona date here but sadly the girl wasn't impressed with the food (not seeing her again because of her bland taste lol) but Definitely loved my visit and hope to visit soon! Grazie!

Although we were expecting pizza, we were very pleased with the pizza-less menu, sea bass 10/10. Would definitely go back.

Todos se han visto afectados por la pandemia de coronavirus, ninguno más que los bares y restaurantes, muchos de los cuales ahora luchan por sobrevivir. Es triste descubrir que algunos de sus lugares favoritos aún no recuperan a su clientela habitual. Una visita reciente a 2 Amici para un almuerzo de cumpleaños resultó ser un placer casi en solitario para nosotros. No importa, porque es la comida lo que es importante y 2 Amici estuvo a la altura de sus siempre altos estándares de cocina y presentación. El menú es lo suficientemente extenso como para permitir algo adecuado para todos los paladares, con una selección de entrantes como Bruschetta, Verduras a la parrilla, Whitebait, Espárragos, Langostinos, etc. Elegí los Calamari fritti, anillos de marisco de textura deliciosamente suave con una ligera capa de masa: no podría haber sido mejor y definitivamente fueron las mejores que he probado en mucho tiempo. Hablando de lo mejor, los dos pedimos hígado de ternera cocido en vino tinto con cebolla y tan sabroso y tierno que ambos pensamos que es el mejor hasta ahora. Servido con una selección de espinacas y brócoli y papas salteadas, este fue un plato principal perfecto. Otras posibilidades incluyen pasta, espagueti, lasaña, linguini, penne, etc. o berenjena y mozzarella al horno, risotto con champiñones o mariscos, pollo y ternera, o atún y lubina. Una deliciosa y cremosa Panna cotta y helado de vainilla completaron una comida muy agradable y una que no podría haber sido mejorada para una comida de cumpleaños.

Tucked away at 48a Rochester Row, is this lovely Italian restuarant with great food & personalised service! Try the seafood linguini with the jumbo prawns. Amazing!

Pequeño restaurante maravilloso, con un personal cálido y servicial. Las porciones de comida son geniales, pedí el entrante de calamares que estaba delicioso y lados que eran geniales. Los otros tenían platos de pasta y risotto y estaban muy contentos. Los postres también eran excelentes, hechos en casa, el pastel de banoffee es encantador, ¡pero los otros también!

Authentic Italian food, reasonably priced

Lovely, traditional Italian restaurant. Beautiful pasta dishes and they can do classics that aren't on the menu if you ask like carbonara. Service was really good and quick, the restaurant background music was quiet so you can actually have a conversation and house wine was excellent.

2 Amici is a small outlet with family atmosphere in the heart of London. A good choice of meat, fish and vegetarian meals. The Italian staff guarantees Italian style hospitality and humour

Abbiamo ordinato una parmigiana, che in realtà era tutt'altro, un piatto di spaghetti al guanciale, e una frittura 4 calamari e 4 zucchine, un bottiglia di acqua... 80 sterline.Ah pure il pane, pagato 2.50 sterline.

The 2 Amici is indeed a traditional italian restaurant. But not of the 'like Nonna used to make' variety. It's a 1980's trattoria recognisable to many of my generation. The owner(?) is heavyset with the demeanour of a man who has done this job too long. Guessing, is his daughter, acting as front of house, more engaging and helpful. She looked pleased when I asked her to recommend a dish. The Seafood risotto was fine but made with frozen seafood. The tomato and onion salad made with beefsteak Toms and straight out of the cold cabinet. The house white wine was drinkable and the giant pepper mill made an appearance. There's nothing wrong with this place although it feels more suburban than central London. It would make for a good weekday neighbourhood place, especially if they could just seem pleased to see you.

if you want a lunch deal that baits passersby be explicit about it as the owner will happily assume you want the a la carte dishes even though they perfectly match what is on offer. food was enjoyable bar tiramisu

We were staying as a family, (I)granddad, (my wife)granny and our two granddaughters in Westminster Stylish Apartments at Emmanuel House,-not our President, Mr Macron's- 18, Rochester Row. So on the first night, we discovered the Italian restaurant "2 Amici", very close to our apartment. They proposed an ideal menu for 2 adults and 2 little girls (12 and 8), they served an excellent wine from Toscana, The desserts were delicious. The restaurant owner was so kind, as well as the waitress, that we decided to come again on the second and last evening in London, and we were delighted. We highly recommend this small prestigious restaurant with its typical Italian menus at very reasonable prices ! We won't fail to return to the "2 Amici"next time in London (now, after the Brexit ! No comment ! ).

Even ONE star is too much for this place. The food was OK but the service from the man who look like a owner or manager was horrible. So rude staff ruined my enjoyable lunch. I won't go back this restaurant again. No one want to be treated like that rude. It was very unpleasant experience.

This restaurant was just a few blocks up from where we were staying and for the most part got good reviews so thought it would be a good place to start our first dinner in London. From the start we were bothered by gnats flying around and even moving to another table the gnats were still there. A got a glass of wine and we asked for still water, receiving a bottle of chilled still water. There was never any offer of bread. What? How can you go to an Italian restaurant and not have bread???? Our pasta meal was delivered (which was good) but still no bread so I asked for bread. What came out as we finished our meal was burnt slices of bread with no butter or olive oil so I asked for olive oil and got a bowl of olives. Jeez. I drink a lot of water and when we finished the bottle of water, the bottle was simply removed with no question as to whether we wanted another bottle. Having had to endure the gnats flying around this entire time, I couldn't get out of there fast enough. The server said he took the cost of the bread off the bill. What! An Italian place that not only doesn't offer bread, but charges for it when requested? Come on. And to top it off, they don't accept Amex, so make sure to bring a MC or Visa. We definitely won't be back as there are just too many Italian places to choose from.

Passando per caso il ristorante ci ha incuriosito! Mangiato molto bene e personale molto cordiale e disponibile. Mia nipote ha mangiato gli spaghetti alla bolognese e devo dire che il sugo era ottimo! Le porzioni sono abbastanza abbondanti, non si esce di sicuro con la fame! Prezzi nella norma, niente di strano. Consigliatissimo!

This is a small, great, casual, family owned restaurant in the Westminster area. My picky-eating family found something for everybody. Generous wine pourings. The basic lasagna is great. The risotto pescatora is excellent adorned with mussels and giant prawns. We went twice in one week last year and five times this year.

Friendly people good service great food

We try and visit 2 Amici whenever we visit London and once again it did not disappoint. My Chicken and Pasta dish and my wife's eggplant Parmiagiana were both excellent. The service was great as usual.

¡Alguien debe llevar a este chef a un lado y presentarle el concepto de sazonar la comida! ¡Horrores! Esto era tan suave como puede ser suave. El pesto debería haber estado lleno de bondad herbácea, pero en su mayoría era crema. Asperagus debería haber sido brillante y crujiente, pero se cortó solo los tallos (sin tapas) y empapado. Gnocchi estaba bien y Banoffee Pie estaba francamente bien, lo que en conjunto es la razón por la que no le doy una calificación de "terrible".

Fuimos a este pequeño restaurante italiano porque está relativamente cerca de un nuevo piso que hemos comprado. El 2 de Amici estaba lleno el Viernes Santo, pero el personal fue extremadamente atento y nuestros amigos quedaron impresionados con sus diversos platos de pasta. El vino estaba bien, así que todos lo pasaron muy bien, como dicen.

Excelente comida italiana, toda las pastas y pizzas que probamos eran fabulosas, el servicio muy educado y rápido, muy recomendable para todos los amantes de la comida mediterránea e italiana. Si vuelvo a Westminster repito. Los precios razonables para la calidad del producto.

The food is beautiful! Well presented, and tastes amazing❤ the owner is lovely and so helpful. Never sat without a drink, makes sure everything's okay and has a lovely demeanour. Passez votre route. Trop cher pour un" italien" ou qd on sert le parmesan c la serveuse qui vous met une cuillère sur les pâtes. Mon mari à commande des cotelettes on lui amène une escalope panée qd à moi pas d'accompagnement si ce n'est trois épinards en branches factures 4£.

I first discovered this place a few years ago and have been back several times but am only just writing a review. This is an authentic restaurant with Italian staff that show great hospitality. The food is great and priced very reasonably. I'll definitely be coming back again and again!

Really good customer service from the waiter. The manager or owner was a little bit rude. The seafood rice (risotto) was amazing with many mussles and 2 big king prawns. My partner asked for a bolognese spaguetti that was tasty but the portion was little. The dessert menu sheet needs to renovate because it is very damaged to be in a restaurant. Also the chocolate cake should have to come with a ice cream ball next to it.

Local Italian that serves all the traditional dishes and also has specials such as spaghetti vongole. Portions are very generous, I was defeated by the Chicken Milanese. It’s really close to the Horticultural Halls so if you’re at an exhibition a perfect place to drop in for lunch.

We had dinner here, three adults and two children under five. The food was quite good, cooked to order. The staff didn't seem put off dealing with children. Salads were larger than expected, very fresh. We all had pasta and each dish met our expectations, which were very high, as we had recently spent a week in Italy. We would certainly return when in London again.

We went early for a pre=theatre meal and were out before 7p.m. The food service and wine were as good as ever
