Efter ett besök på Churchills War Room så var det dags för lunch och det blev Prezzo vid Trafalgar square. Det tog tid för beställning av maten men efter en förfrågan om det så gick det fort med dricka och pastan. Stora portioner och god smak. Carbonaran och Spaghetti Bolognesen var helt okay. Ljudnivån var hög i restaurangen och en känsla av skolmatsal inföll sig. Prisläget är högt i och med restaurangen ligger i ett turist område med flera sevärdheter i närheten.

The dishes are very good and well stocked. The restaurant is quite well located and welcoming. However, the service is poor, and our waitress was not very friendly (even though it was the end of service in our case).

Attentive staff, good food, really pleased

I have been served by two Elena’s what a coincidence 😍 One of them happened to be the manager of the venue both has been so attentive and lovely they choices we made influenced by suggestions has been amazing! Always upgrade your pizza to “grande” it’s worth it! Venue has smooth service and very busy and good atmosphere

We were looking for a restaurant for having dinner and we found this one. They gave us a good attention and the food was quite good but at least my food was a bit bland (I ordered raviolis with pumpkin). It’s a nice place for dining with family.

Not the best pizza place, I went there due to difficulties to find other place to eat . But definitely won’t come back. Waiting time was insane long. Around an hour just for one pizza. Also be aware they don’t accept

I have been a here a couple of times recently and on both occasions the service has been good even though they were busy. Food quality also good and plenty of space. Would go again.

The waitress was quite apathetic. The food could be very improved. Bland pizza, excessively spicy and poorly made calzone. High price for the quality they offer.

Needed a bit of lunch and came across here. As soon as you are greeted, they let you know that it's a card only venue and no cash. Can't complain about the food or service but I was disappointed at the service charge. I decide if and how much I want to tip but not here. They tell you and you cant change it. For example, I wanted to split the bill with my own tip amount. They wouldn't allow this and said it can be split either with the pre calculated tip amount or nothing. So I said nothing then. We're not in America and you don't tell me how much I want to tip. As a result I didn't tip you anything. Be warned.

It was good but a quiet expensive (I paid still water 4,25 pounds)

Great pre-theatre location, right off Trafalgar Square. Quick service and food was good. Atmosphere what you expect from a chain restaurant. Our table was very close to the table next door.

Prior to this visit I was a huge fan of Prezzo which is why I’m so disappointed with my meal on Saturday. We booked & were taken to our table reasonably quickly and it was as you’d expect a busy weekend evening in London & I would be willing to allow some leeway for that. Being busy however does not account for really awful & overpriced food. The garlic bread consisted of a semi circle of bread that I don’t think had ever been introduced to garlic, even Dracula wouldn’t have been bothered (£6.50), the mushroom & gorgonzola bruschetta really wasn’t much better & think that cost over £9.00. On to the main course: The side order of fries were left on the counter for 10mins prior to being served to the table & by this stage stone cold. The lasagne was passable & least it was hot (the highlight), the rigatoni on the other hand was inedible. Lukewarm, watery & 5 (yes 5) pieces of undercooked anaemic chicken. I tried to persevere but couldn’t & asked for a different dish. The carbonara not much better. I did feel for the young lad doing his best under the circs & he did send the floor manager over & they listened to our feedback. An assurance was given that our bill would reflect our experience, it didn’t. Bill reissued & service charge & one of the starters taken off, small comfort. If I were you I’d avoid this restaurant, quite possibly the worst dining experience I’ve had in London. Perhaps they think they can serve this sort of slop to tourists & get away with it? Truly awful

Great value for kids. Food was delicious and staff were really friendly. Perfect pit stop.

Tried to book a table and apparently they were fully booked. Decided to walk in and 2thirds of the whole restaurant were empty. Food was delicious and their Poretti beer was lush but when we asked for the bill and asked for NHS/ blue light card discount we were told that they are not doing it. Disgusting scam and not sure what their game is at that particular place but we visit Prezzo quite frequently in Somerset and always get 20% off with blue light card.

Food was mediocre. Ordered pasta for mains came out frozen cold by time I got it back my wife was half way through hers. Only upside was staff dealt with my complaint well. Wasn't charged for my mains.

Beautifully decorated Italian restaurant with an extensive range of vegan and gluten-free options. Unfortunately my order was wrong, after which I had to wait a very long time and the others had already finished eating. Too bad, I think it would have been a good experience otherwise.

Bad customer service and average pastas

Nice welcome and sat down. Then completely ignored whilst more people came in (who has their order taken). Staff laid tables and continued to ignore me. I just got up and left. Waste of my time. Ps Bella Italia is far better round the corner

Administration in this restaurant is racist. Dear Prezzo Management, I am writing to express my deep disappointment regarding an unfortunate incident that occurred during our recent visit to your restaurant. My family and I were eager to enjoy a meal together, but unfortunately, we experienced a disheartening display of racism from both the administrator and the waiter. As first-time visitors to this country, we have never encountered racism before, and it was particularly distressing to experience it in your establishment. We were informed that there were no available tables for individuals like us (we are from Central Asia). This discriminatory treatment has left us profoundly disappointed, and we are compelled to share our unfortunate experience. Discrimination has no place in any establishment, and we believe it is crucial for your team to be aware of such incidents to ensure they are promptly addressed. We sincerely hope that appropriate measures will be taken to prevent such incidents in the future. Regrettably, this experience has left us with no desire to visit any Prezzo restaurant again. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Bad way for spreading money..The food was tasteless and not fresh and we didnt even had more then one bite and when we complained the just ask if we can do any thing with it and we payed the full bill

This place is chaos. We had booked a table for a pre-theatre meal but had to wait in a massive queue with people with no order. Once we were finally sat down and ordered our food, it arrived before our drinks. The waiter constantly ignored us when we tried to get his attention. Once we had received our food I was very disappointed. I’ve had better microwave meals… the bolognese was watery and dog food like. Following our poor experience we asked to take the service charge off the bill. This was met very badly with the man becoming increasingly aggressive, saying it wasn’t added anyway which was a lie as it was on our bill. He then wouldn’t let us see the amount we were paying on the card machine before tapping and had to make a point to see the value. Overall this experience has put me off ever visiting another Prezzo restaurant. Awful. Please hire more staff or train the ones you have on customer service.

Pizza was good, tasted good and had olives added on the top. One annoying this is the wait staff are constantly trying to upsell you everything. “Do you want some wine” “are you sure you don’t want some wine” “we’ve just got this new wine in”

Was going all good until we were charged £10 ‘service fee’ on the bill.

Dined in for a late lunch 3-Jan-24. Review based on what appeared like an understaffed team. Came into the restaurant knowing of the 3.9 rating but it didn’t even hit that mark in my opinion. Prezzo burger served with pitiful amount of fries. May as well not have given anything. Burger was decent enough. Chicken rigatoni served cold to room temperature - not great Flat white - diluted tasted like water. Asked for some water and some Parmesan three times before eventually getting it. Overall waiting time between ordering and food arriving 27mins.

Wir waren zum Abendessen im Prezzo. Wir hatten Lust auf die italienische Küche. Das Restaurant war in der Nähe und machte, zumindest über das Internet, einen guten Eindruck. Das Interieur wirkt auf den ersten Blick modern und einladend, aber auf den zweiten Blick wirkt das Ambiente eher ungemütlich. Man sitzt gefühlt wie in einer großen Halle. Es ist sehr laut, unruhig und man sitzt trotz der Größe dicht nebeneinander. Es dauerte dann ca. 10-15 Minuten bis jemand an den Tisch kam und die Bestellung aufnahm. Kurioserweise war das Essen schneller da als die Getränke ! Wir wollten den leckeren Chicken Cesar Salad essen, doch es gab keine Hähnchenbrust mehr. Und außer Garnelen gab es keine Fleischalternative. Unglaublich ! So sind wir auf den Orzo, Tomato and Ricotta Salad ausgewichen, also dann eben die Variante ohne Hähnchenbrust. Der Salat war geschmacklich ein Desaster. Es hat völlig an Würze und Geschmack gefehlt. Selbst das Knobi-Beilagenbrot musste zusätzlich erworben werden. Viel Liebe zum Endprodukt wurde hier nicht investiert. Die anderen Begleiter hatten Pizza die für die aufgerufenen Preise zwar dürftig belegt, aber geschmacklich in Ordnung war. Das Personal war sichtlich bemüht, konnte aber unser Erlebnis nicht verbessern.

23 June 2019 Prezzo was one of the best restaurant deals we found in London. The location was easy to find, the restaurant was very classy, the staff was friendly and attentive and the food was great! You can see our meals in the pictures as well as our final bill/reciept and a few shots of the restaurant itself and the menu pages. I recommend this place! The only reason for dropping one star is that their new appetizer/starter "pizza bites" are not as good as the could have been. The menu indicated they were stuffed with cheese and pizza sauce. But only barely. There is an opportunity to fill these bites up properly and make them live up to their name. They were "tasty" as bread bites... But hardly PIZZA bites as you would expect from the menu description. Other than that, I highly recommend this restaurant!

Atmosphere was top notch. Service and food and its presentation was for sure subpar.

Went here today for lunch and the service was great, only interacted with one server really named Hayley. She’s great.. quick, very friendly and helpful despite it being incredibly busy. I’d come back just to get have her service again. She genuinely made my day and made me fall in love with the restaurant. I’d recommended anyone to go there and when you do ask for Hayley

Poor quality food with plastic in the side salad, hair in a main course and somewhat tasteless kids bolognaise. Food was fast and bang-average however for central London, kids menu was a good price.

Standard Italian fare for a family-style restaurant. Not too expensive for central London with children's menu sub-£8. Food was average but service was good. When my wife expressed some reservations about her main course, they offered us free coffees.

I called in with a colleague for lunch. The food was tasty and exactly as you would want it. Service was quick and staff were helpful. What more could you ask for !

Genuinely the worst meal I've had in a restaurant for some time. The pasta was cooked well but had no flavour and it was like eating plain pasta with parmesan. It was also cold. Plenty of better options in the area.

(13th December 2023/ late afternoon) Food was average, not bad but also nothing special. It took ages for someone to take our order until we actually had to call someone's attention just to at least start ordering the drinks. We had to ask for the kids menu even if it's so obvious that we're with our two year old son. When the food was finally brought to our table, they even got my son's food wrong so we had to ask for them to change it to the correct one. Then one of the staff was rude the way she handled our query prior to settling our bill. Overall, the atmosphere felt awful for us as a family with a toddler, we didn't feel welcome, zero friendliness and professionalism from some of the staff especially the woman who brought our bill. Me and my partner both feel like the staff were just staring at us and judging when our toddler started throwing tantrums after finishing our meal. Overpriced for an average Italian restaurant with a bad customer service. It doesn't matter if the restaurant is in the central London, that doesn't mean that they can act like superior and above others. Not when you're in the food and catering industry.

My children and granddaughter went here on Saturday 9th of December. It was very busy but the staff were so friendly and helpful and the food was lovely. I want to thank them for making our visit and experience a great one. So a big thank you to all the staff and I hope the Chef is still wearing my Christmas balls.

10 of us came for a Xmas supper deal, either 2 or 3 courses, plus drinks. Worst dinner I have ever witnessed in a London restaurant. Genuinely looked like something from a Gordon Ramsay show. Appalling value for money, I had something sold as saltimbocca. Tap it into an image search on Google and you'll see loads of delicious images...nothing like what was served..2 bone dry chicken breast pieces, with a dry boiled potato, a morsel of obliterated parma or something ham like and a chunk of hispi cabbage poetically added but cynically undercooked. Dessert was a "slice" of biscoff cheesecake which clearly was being rationed by the accounts department in case someone complained of being overfed. The spaghetti served to someone was from a comedy pasta show and the best thing about the nick nick kids food was the sliced cucumber. Even the pizzas were dismal Seriously Prezzo...being a corporate restaurant involves providing value for money, quality and experience...we'd have had more fun, value and experience at our local wimpy. Shocking...I'd call Gordon if I were you, someone needs to be shouted at.

Shocking service - waiting staff were worse than awful! Took an age to take out drinks order, we were not offered any Parmesan with our mains, we were not asked if we wanted a dessert. Be warned they automatically add a tip which based on our experience they absolutely do not deserve!. Crammed in next to other diners and for us the best part was leaving. Save your money ! I suggest the manger talk to the front of house staff about how to treat customers

Not good - we were 3 people seated at a 2 persons table, they forgot to bring half of the drinks (forget the "vine" part of their slogan) despite repeated reminders from us, and everything was rushed... Food was ok but lacking (no parmigiano on the Cesar salad and no croutons for instance), and we were actually relieved when back on the street. Will not be visiting this Prezzo again.

It was a really bad experience because the waiter was so rude, we were not ready to order the food because 2 of our group were on the toilet and he said that he could wait 1 hour more and later started to said that we should relaxing and he could wait 2 or 3 hours more ironically. After that we requested talk with the manager and it did not arrive to talk with us. Really bad experience.. but the way the restaurant was almost empty.

Lovely staff, food ok. Very disappointed to see manager /owner berate a staff member for dropping a tray of crockery. We were sitting right in front of the service area when it happened. Manager /owner didn’t care who seen him belittling the staff member. Then he started to throw the broken Crockery on the floor in front of him. Totally unnecessary and embarrassing behaviour for a manager. I hope the staff member is okay as he seemed to be quite cross with him and other staff members around.

I personally think the quality of food is not worth the money. Small portions, with nearly no chicken in the Alfredo is just disappointing when I paid over 16 pounds for the meal. I also don’t appreciate the staff not answering when I ask for something. I’m not difficult but a simple “ok” or “yes” would do. It seems like the waiter was unhappy to happy to serve me. I don’t usually spend time writing negative reviews on here because I know it reflects badly on the restaurant but I think it’s important in this case. Hope you can do better.

Je laisse une étoile car 0 n’existe pas, sinon cela l’aurai été. La serveuse, d’origine Chinoise, fait l’arrogante alors qu’elle n’a rien pour. La cuisine est simple, cela ne vaut pas le prix. Au lieu de se la peter la Miss Chinoise elle ferrai mieux d’être plus compétente dans son métier, et plus gentille.

Came here with my family while visiting Londan , I was pleasantly surprised at how well they catered for the various dietary requirements of my large family , with separate lactose free,gluten free and vegan menus . There was something delicious for all of us . The food tasted great and the service was excellent. I would highly recommend this restaurant 👌

Came to celebrate our 4th anniversary here with my wife and the staff were really friendly and attentive. We were sat down quick, order taken within 5 minutes and really helpful with the menu as my wife is gluten,wheat free and dairy free. The food was delicious and we didn't have to wait long to receive our food. We will definitely be coming back again!

Came here with the family and the pizza was quite good. Our kids enjoyed the Bolognese pasta and the service was good as well.

Today I was robbed in the restaurant, I was sitting at a table near the emergency exit. Noboby had access to the table., apart from the waiters. Very difficult to understand who can have taken the bag. The staff was very unhelpful and unprofessional. I did call after a few hours to hear from them but the manager refused to speak to me.

Had the worst time at this restaurant. Came across an extremely rude waiter who tricked us into buying bottled water. He, then, made a huge fuss when we asked to remove 2 toppings and add 2 other 2 toppings from our calzone, for an extra charge ofcourse. On top of that, he bought us a pasta which we didn’t order. When we pointed it out that the we didn’t order the pasta, he started arguing that we bought it and also tried to make us pay for it in the bill, till we called the manager. Also, the calzone didn’t remove any of the toppings we asked to be removed. It’s okay if a restaurant can’t customize the order but we expect transparency from the staff and say this can’t be done and we would have appreciated that. However, the waiter now starts telling us that he followed the instructions and if there’s an issue, it’s not him who is cooking. Are you seriously kidding me? Overall, had the worst time of my life and did not expect such insulting and rude behavior.

내셔널갤러리보기전에 아이가 피자먹자고 해서 갔어요. 구글 리뷰대로 피자랑 파스타는 맛있었어요. 근데 종업원이 제가 아시안계여서 그런지 계산해달라고 하니 영수증도 안주고 카드결제 하더라구요. 이상해서 가격을 보니 제가 먹은 음식보다 더 많이 결제했더라구요. 진짜.. 런던의 마지막날에 안좋은 기억이 생겼네요. 더 결제됐다고하니 미안하다고 카드 캔슬하면 매니저한테 잔소리 듣는다면서 현금으로 돌려주겠다며 10파운드 주더라구요. 그래도 제가 먹은 피자값보다는 더 계산한셈이지만 매니저까지 불러서 항의하기 귀찮고해서 팁줬다고 생각하고 그냥 나왔지만.. 아시안이라서 영어 잘 못하니 이런식으로 등 쳐먹다니.. 이 식당 맛은 좋았지만 직원교육은 형편없네요!

The team is very nice, but the food is average. Carbonara was literally a pasta with cream and some ham:O my daughter, who is huge fan of carbonara, didn't eat almost at all. Very nice gelato though!

Amazing restaurant with top quality produce. The most friendly welcoming staff. I would highly recommend eating here. A great experience.

After a couple of mistakes with our main meal, the manager was extremely apologetic, went to great lengths to rectify the situation. Would I eat here again…yes because the service and compensation was more than adequate for the mistake made.

The food and location are great, I just thought the service was slow from time to time. Also I hate the fact that they charge a 10% service charge on top, then say it's 'completely optional' but you have to specifically ask to have it removed and they ask the reason why. It feels a bit like guilt tripping. Either raise your prices 10% or ask for a tip at the bottom of the bill 10-15-20% and leave it as that. It doesn't feel optional the way it is now.

Place is in a great spot. Service was good to start with then dropped off. Drinks waiter was to busy running outside to video 3 x Nissan GTR's who were revving their motors that hard I thought the windows would blow in... Pizza with ham had 1 x slice of ham broken up into 5 little pieces. Seriously, I get the cost of living but at least try to get a piece of ham on every piece of pizza, I am paying for it. In the end it served it's purpose but I wouldn't go back.

Prices are insane. £17 for a tiny Lasagna, that was no better than a £3.50 Findus. Staff were miserable. The Place was empty. Joke Restaurant tbh.

Schlechteste glutenfreie Pizza, die wir jemals gegessen haben. Total trocken, dunkel und mit dem Rand hätte man Fenster einwerfen können. Service nicht besonders aufmerksam - Wasser wird z.B. ohne Gläser serviert. Aber die Krönung war, dass ich mich noch als Lügnerin hinstellen lassen musste von der sehr energischen bzw. unfreundlichen Bedienung, die behauptete, dass mein Salat ohne Ei war. Komischerweise stand aber auf der Karte mit pochiertem Ei. Nach einer unnötigen und sehr unangenehmen Diskussion räumte die Kassiererin dann ein, dass es sein könnte, dass ich eine alte Karte hatte... Alles in allem poor experience und nicht empfehlenswert. Der Kunde ist hier nicht König (wobei es mir reichen würde, wenn jemand einen Fehler, der durchaus passieren kann, einsieht anstatt pampig zu werden).

Der Service war sehr freundlich und hat uns am Anfang der Bestellung nach Allergien gefragt. Das Ambiente kann sich sehen lassen und das Essen war ebenfalls sehr lecker empfehlen kann ich den Burger oben rechts auf der Karte.

We came here for food, and thought we can enjoy good time, but some asian woman in the reception who works here was really mean. Before we even got inside the restaurat, she looks she is annoyed by us, and she told to us they're taking only cards. Also one of friends asks if they got a plug to charge her phone, and receptionist was like "you wanna only use our plug or you wanna eat?" Than we said we're going out and she just throw menu on table and was like "ok get out".

Rude. The food overall was pretty ok, nothing special, but still good. The restaurant was pretty cool, nice looking. The only thing that made everything worse was the service. The staff was rude from the moment we stepped in there. The waitress (who I believe was the boss or something) came to us. I really care to say that English isn’t my first language, but I can understand stuff I hear. The restaurant was noisy (this is normal, not saying otherwise) but for this I had trouble hearing what she was saying. The only time I asked her to repeat what se just said she snorted and looking me dead in the eyes started overly slowly repeating. Not in a respectful way, like you talk to a foreigner who is trying to use you service, but almost spitting in my face using a tone and a face overly annoyed. I’m not even overreacting like someone might think, even my family and the few people behind us noticed. We sat and that was it. Second of all THE PRICE. Overly expensive. My review is just about my experience, I’m not saying the place is bad. I just care to say that not everyone has patience with foreigners.

Worst ever the food bad and service is worst??

Very very busy place. Because of it cannot say the service is was entirely good as everyone is busy trying to get work done. Sometimes do have to wait to get the attention of the waiter. But decent food, quite pricey I might add considering all.

Très bon restaurant, habitués des restaurants actuels italiens celui ci nous a plu, les prix sont corrects similaires à un restaurant italien en france, beaucoup de choix, ma fille de 10 ans a eu droit à une part de pates carbonara enfant et ce sont les meilleures qu'elle avait goutées. Pour les enfants elle avait le choix entre pizza margherita, pate bolognese ou carbonara et une glace en dessert. Le cadre du restautant est très agréable, moderne, spacieux et propre ! Service charmant. Seules les cartes sont acceptées.

So impressed this place is so beautiful and also delicious I can’t recommend it more.

Place was dead except maybe 2 tables, wanted some drinks but told only food and drink. Good luck filling the empty restaurant 👍🏻
