Prezzo - Northumberland Avenue in City of London, Westminster

The experience of eating at Prezzo was incredible. We went initially because I knew that you offered a menu for celiacs that was highly praised, and in fact, it lived up to the praise. My husband fell in love with the restaurant, so much so that during our entire stay in London, we went to Prezzo at least once a day for lunch or dinner.

The pizza dough is good, the topping is well controlled. A little disappointed with the service, the restaurant is very large and it feels more like a flunch than a restaurant. The servers are quickly overwhelmed by the number of clients.

Best Gluten Free Pizza. Regular pizza was also very good (according to my companions). Bravo Prezzo!!!

We were offered exemplary service, in particular by Dritan. Food arrived very quickly (not even 15minutes) and pasta was very delicious. Was quiet even at a Friday lunchtime would recommend!!

The pepperoni pizza was so nice with a really nice and fresh bread! My friend also ordered a burger which was nice but it doesn’t come with side and you need to order side separately.

Lovely big bowls of pasta served. Followed by a huge portion of sticky toffee pudding. No need to book early Sun eve they were empty. Discount vouchers for Prezzo are not valid here. Location is close to theatre land too.

Rude staff. Don’t hound people the second they walk in the door quietly looking for a friend, like we are up to no good.

Great location close to Charing Cross Station and theatres, and right next to Trafalgar Square. It took a little while to place our drink and food orders, but once ordered the food arrived fairly quickly and was of a good standard. London prices, but then again it is right in the heart of London. Would dine here again.

The pasta is good, I liked it / The burger is 6/10, as if it was grilled on charcoal / The pizza is good / The peach ice tea is good.. ~The service is not long in coming and their waist is normal 🙃

The wait staff were lovely, and inside it looks really nice. However the food was not that nice. I had gluten free pasta, but it was under cooked and really bland. The others said the (regular) pizza was nice, so maybe everything else is okay. Just not nice tasting gluten free.

We didn't have a booking, and they managed to fit us in. Ordered a pizza and salad, which came out in great time as we were sorted on time due to the short break in the theatre. Staff were great and helpful

Mrs. Monika, who served us, was very nice and talked us into a delicious sticky toffee pudding dessert. I highly recommend this place. The food is delicious and we got our order quickly.

While the food itself was sub par at best, the service was absolutely horrendous. We were scoffed at, treated rudely, and we felt extremely uncomfortable the whole night. Nice restaurant, good food, lovely atmosphere

It was delicious, frankly. We tried the margarine and the mushroom pasta, and we took whole potatoes, literally delicious. I will try again 👍🏻

Went around Dec 23 with my bf and his brother. Ordered carbonara, taste was ok, was mixing the food and noticed 2 hair, I told the server about it and she just seems so nonchalant. She told the chef who most of them has lots of long/facial hair which he doesn’t even look like he cares. She came back and offered another dish by this time which I declined as I already lost my appetite cause I was weary of the food by then and I was extra careful on what to eat as I’m pregnant and it’s my first time. Bill came and my bf was ready to pay. I double checked and they haven’t removed the carbonara from the bill so I called the server and ask them to remove it as I didn’t eat it due to the hairs. Server seems like she’s displeased and can’t be bothered but in the end it was taken off. Overall I didn’t have a good experience

Toda la comida era muy buena y el servicio era rápido, y con una pinta cada uno la factura rondaba las £ 80 , como era de esperar para un restaurante de cadena italiana en el centro de Londres. Nos gustaría comer aquí de nuevo si en la zona.

Ravioli and truffle chips were both excellent and the restaurant was comfortable, service propt and friendly. The music was not too loud!!

Where to start? Already if I could have put 0 I would have put it!! Disgusting welcome, disgusting dishes = intoxication for everyone! Waitress not smiling, then literally making fun of us! Payment only by card, scam! The French should really FLEE! There are much better elsewhere!!!! A hefty addition... my word it's better to relearn the trade!

The portions were massive - at such a low cost too. They taper the seasoning perfectly. They really know how to make sure the customers don’t fade away!

Well located. Not very warm welcome, rather cold staff. We ordered chicken burgers, the chicken was very poorly cooked and the burger had no flavor. Very long service. Price too expensive for the quality..

Considering we were there on the most busiest time of the year the staff were really friendly and helpful and food was excellent

We came for lunch with a friend I haven’t seen in ages, and left completely disappointed. The food was absolutely delicious however the service was horrible. I do understand that the restaurant was busy, having worked myself as a manager in a restaurant previously I understand busy times, but that shouldn’t sacrifice service. We waited ages for someone to take out order and when the food finally came the waitress just dropped the food on the table and run away, while i tried to quickly ask for extra plates as we were sharing. When I asked to remove the service charge ar the end, the waiter was giving a lot of attitude and acted extremely shocked. No one asked how was our meal, no one approached our table besides taking the order and bringing the food. When asking for the bill I had to finally stand up and stop someone to ask for the bell, as no one was noticing our ‘excuse me’. The food is delicious but the service is awful.

Hemos visitado Londres en muchas ocasiones a lo largo de los años y nos encanta probar nuevos restaurantes cada vez que estamos aquí. Sin embargo, cada vez que volvemos siempre terminamos volviendo a Prezzo al menos una vez por visita. La comida es fantástica, el ambiente zumba y el personal es genial en lo que hacen. No es nuestra primera visita y sin duda no será la última. Ya sea que esté cenando en pareja, en grupo o con una familia joven, este restaurante sirve para todos. Ninguna recomendación más alta podría dar. Visita, cena y disfruta!

La comida no era tan malo, pero estábamos completamente sobreprecio y nos cobraron mucho más de lo que deberíamos haber pagado. Teníamos un vale para usar pero no nos dejaron usarlo porque eran las vacaciones, así que eso no tenía sentido. (un vale de cumpleaños) También pedimos después de la cena el menú de postres y nuestro camarero se olvidó de dárnoslo, esperábamos unos 10 minutos y luego tuvimos que preguntarles de nuevo. Lo mismo sucede cuando necesitábamos pagar la cuenta, tardaron mucho en traerla y cuando sacamos a colación el hecho de que nos habían cobrado de más no les importó! We ordered pizza with prosciutto, calamari, and pancetta. the pizza was overcooked, hard and tasteless. I do not recommend this establishment.

We were very disappointed by our visit to Prezzo's on 14th December 2024. We arrived and were promptly seated which was great as we expected a wait. So far so good. The waitress came to us within minutes asking if we would like to order drinks and our food. We hadn't even looked at the menu fully at this point. So quickly ordered drinks. Drinks came and we ordered our food. We were then asked if we would like any sides I asked if everyone would like garlic bread to share, they agreed. So I asked of we could add garlic bread as a side and the response from the waitress was appalling. I was told (very sternly) You should have ordered that first, not now, I will add it this once but no more! I was horrified at the manner in which she spoke to me. My daughter even asked if I was OK as it was that bad! I'm not confrontational so I let it go (furious on the inside) our meal was served quickly. Full of flavour, and very nice. (Although the portion of chips on my husbands plate was a mouse portion) while we were still eating the waitress returned and cleared my plate away, she then took my daughters and husbands whilst my step daughter was still eating. (She had a pizza and it was very big - great value btw) As she picked up the last slice the waitress took her plate! I was flabbergasted! I have never felt so unwelcome and rushed in a restaurant! I'm sure other waiting staff are more pleasant than the server we had, but I cannot comment on them, just the experience we had. The waitress then came over with the bill. My husband paid and mistakenly put his PIN in incorrectly and she harshly said to him that's the wrong PIN whilst rolling her eyes. He became flustered and eventually put the correct one in. We left and it wasn't until we later checked that we realised the cheeky waitress had added a service charge!!! No way would we have paid it, we were treated appallingly by her. Our only tip would be for her to grow some manners and respect for paying customers. Rant over! Now a formal complaint is on its way too!

Tuve una experiencia decepcionante en este restaurante italiano. La pasta que pedimos estaba demasiado cocida y abrumadoramente picante, lo que enmascaró completamente los otros sabores. La Pasta Ripiena Spinaci e Ricotta fue particularmente decepcionante, se hizo con mozzarella en lugar de ricotta, lo que es engañoso y no es lo que esperábamos. Planteé mis preocupaciones al camarero, pero no se hizo nada para abordar el tema. En general, este no es un lugar que recomendaría para cenar.

10/10 place had chicken Milanese with spaghetti starters to share. My friend got the burrata salad and said best burrata she ever had. Amazing experience in the heart of London, the manager Ylli gave us a great table and recommended dishes, he was a star!

The service was incredibly slow, we were waiting for almost over 30 minutes for the desert.

Had a great night out. Our waitress Leticia was brilliant, she managed a party of 24 guys with humour, charm and efficiency. Pizzas were really good and excellent value.

Everything was wonderful! The food was absolutely delicious, we had spaghetti bolognese, a margherita pizza, and a piece of tiramisu. We got our food quickly even though the restaurant was busy. The staff were very kind and courteous. We loved the atmosphere, it really is a beautiful restaurant. 10/10 highly recommended!

Tasty meal and dessert! Our servers were attentive and kind. I enjoyed rigatoni arrabbiata and my mom got ravioli. We both really enjoyed the sticky toffee pudding for dessert! Thank you!

Me and another person in my family ordered 2 burgers which came out cold because the waitress forgot to bring them to us starter was fine after our food came out cold they were sorry and were quick to bring new food to us nice staff it was probably because it was a Saturday and the restaurant was very busy Thank you for bringing the new food out so quickly I know it was just a mistake

Started out nice, got seated, placed the order, and then, unfortunately, our waitress decided that prancing around the restaurant and coziness up to her coworker was more important than our food order. It took another waitress to realize we had been sitting around watching other couples enjoying their food before ours came out. What makes matters worse was watching the waitress who forgot us...eat off another customers plate on the serving line. Don't believe me, roll the camera back and have a chat about tonights service from your employee in the pink shirt!!

We loved this place!!! We are from Australia and were in London for four nights in November. We went to Prezzo on our second night. So impressed with this experience we went three nights in a row. Great service, super friendly and happy staff and the food was absolutely sensational. We totally and thoroughly recommend this restaurant and its staff/food wholeheartedly. Looking forward to returning on our next visit !!

Llegué a las 6 pm sábado sin reserva, pero encontraron una mesa para nosotros en unos 15 minutos. La comida llegó rápidamente y era delicioso. He visto algunas críticas negativas, pero para mí la experiencia fue excelente. La comida era genial y el personal era aún mejor. Personalmente pensé que los precios estaban bien. De hecho, para el centro de Londres diría que excelente. No podría recomendar más y sin duda volvería.

My pasta tasted like it was made in heaven. I still don’t understand how this isn’t a 3 Michelin starred restaurant. This is the unknown gem of London Italian cuisine.

My recent visit to Prezzo in London was, unfortunately, far from enjoyable. From the moment we stepped inside, the experience fell short of even basic expectations. The restaurant was completely empty upon our arrival at 8 PM, yet no one was there to greet us. After a few minutes, a server finally arrived and led us—curiously—to a table right next to the bathroom, despite the abundance of available seating. When I politely asked to be moved, the manager, Elena, responded with a dismissive and almost hostile attitude, insisting that all the tables were “reserved.” This claim seemed absurd given the empty dining room, which remained half-empty even by the end of our meal. It was disappointing to see a manager who not only lacked warmth but also appeared disinterested in her role; Elena was unprofessionally dressed and looked visibly irritated, making it clear she didn’t want to be there. Honestly, it felt as if her attitude cast a negative shadow over the entire experience. As for the food, it was mediocre at best. The bruschetta was especially disappointing—it came on a pizza-like crust rather than traditional bread, which wasn’t indicated on the menu. This was a surprising and unpleasant twist on a classic dish. The fries were unmistakably frozen, lacking any hint of freshness or quality, and the calamari was overly fried, resulting in a rubbery texture that was hard to enjoy. Overall, the experience left much to be desired. The poor service and lackluster food showed a clear disregard for both quality and customer satisfaction. With so many other fantastic dining options in London, I wouldn’t recommend wasting your time or money at Prezzo. This was, unfortunately, a memorable experience for all the wrong reasons.

Food was slow to arrive, it appeared there was 2 ladies who I'm guessing were managers that made service worse than better. It appeared they annoyed staff rather than helped #Teamwork Childrens garlic bread was 90% burnt and food was thrown on the table when it arrived. You had to throw in what you wanted from the waiter when he appeared otherwise he was off and never seen again until he wanted rid of you! Which is why the service charge automatically added is a slap in the face and when I heard another table ask if it could be removed, he said it couldn't!!! Waiter tried to give me a white wine when I ordered red. Then asked if I was sure it was definitely red I ordered - wow!! Children pudding came as the wrong one. But as I say you didn't have your waiter long enough to tell him!! I was grateful by the end of the meal to pay and get out!! My advice would be eat somewhere else if you can, unless you like being treated like rubbish for £100 for 4!

A restaurant where everyone is overwhelmed. First, other people who arrived after us and who did not have reservations either, were placed before us. A Caesar salad limited to a thin bed of salad, a few pieces of chicken and a bad dressing. No parmesan as advertised on the menu and the waitress told me that I should have asked for it before eating the salad! For 16 pounds... And I was offered the addition of another table, more expensive to finish. Instead, go push another door!

Very happy to be surprised by good attentive staff, no wait at all for food and this at 6 on a Thursday evening.

Good Italian restaurant in the center of London. The service was a little slow but it seemed like a temporary problem, the food was quite good with a reasonable portion and plenty of gluten-free options on the menu.

Lovely place to visit when stopping by for a relaxed dinner or lunch. I walked in with 12 people and got served with a table immediately by a kind hostess. The seats were clean and the food was great. However, when splitting the bill it wasn’t very efficient and one of us ended up paying the bill because they said they couldn’t split it. This wasn’t that big of an issue but maybe something they could improve on! - I will come again! 👏

Visited this restaurant on Sunday evening and just want to say a huge thank you to the waitresses who were extremely welcoming and friendly and made our little boys night with a paper chefs hat ! Our child has additional needs and the girls were brilliant with him ! Enjoyed a pizza and a chicken dish along with the children's fixed price menu, the service was quick also so we were soon back enjoying the sights and sounds of London on our last evening and our boy didnt take that hat off all night ! Thanks again !

I ordered the Chicken, Wild Mushroom Rigatoni but with the vegan chicken alternative as I have been vegetarian for the past 5 years. Despite ordering the vegan chicken alternative, they made the mistake of serving me real chicken. Having taken a bite of the chicken I immediate realised there may have been an error which was later confirmed by staff. All they did was take that one meal off the bill which didn't really make up for the fact that I had just eaten meat for the first time in half a decade. If you have any allergies, religious or moral beliefs surrounding the consumption of meat, I would be very cautious eating here.

The quality of the food was poor, the toilets were a disgrace and the servers try to bribe you to leave a positive review regardless of service received.

The biggest advantage this place can boast is the location - it's near Trafalgar Square. I ordered a seabuss with a side of roasted potatoes. Both the flavor and the presentation weren't impressive. The service was quite slow, but it was after 5 p.m., so it's understandable. Maybe they make tasty pizzas, but if you fancy fish, go somewhere else.

Had an amazing time genuinely the servers were all so lovely and sweet even though we had unfortunately come at a late time they were still extremely welcoming and very sweet and didn't rush us to leave even when we were trying to get take away boxes they insisted we enjoy and take our time and it was just such a lovely experience and I'm very grateful. Especially to (I hope I'm not butchering his name) Ilea who was very lovely and made sure we had a great time. Very lovely food, vibe and couldn't complain about a single thing. Thanks so much. Also the Morello cherry sour or what ever bangs 100 percent recommended.

I visited for the first time a few days ago with my partner, and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. There was no greeting upon our arrival, and no one checked on us during our meal. I ordered the gnocchi with pesto and added burrata for an extra £3, only to receive half of a small burrata, which was not as described. The pesto seemed diluted with extra olive oil, as if there wasn’t enough to properly prepare the dish. Additionally, both the Passion Fruit Martini and Aperol Spritz were made with flat Prosecco, raising concerns about how long the bottle had been open. This was my first and, regrettably, my last visit.

I came here because it was close to my accommodation. As I looked at the menu, I ordered Bolognese pasta, but what came out was a completely different pasta that wasn't even on the menu. I thought it was strange, so I asked, and he said that I had ordered it, and showed me the machine I ordered in an unfriendly manner. I had no choice but to eat it because it said so on the machine, but I ordered by looking at the menu myself out of fear of being confused by the English pronunciation, but it was very difficult to make a mistake, and even if I did, I had to confirm my order at the end. It's normal to do this, but it became my fault without going through that process. The food tastes so-so and the service is lacking compared to the price.

Nothing special... average pizza. Nice environment. High prices for what you need. I expected more. The garlic bread was half a pizza.. We found better during our stay in London.
