Mamma Mia Ristorante Italiano in City of London, Westminster

Friendly, chatty. Wrong food order was quickly corrected. Stingy on the quantities of green vegetables (which we anted to help down the generous quantities of stodge). Otherwise fantastic. Brought us complimentary nibbles prior to our mains. They make families welcome.

Seafood pasta was one of the best I have ever tried. Very fresh and sauce is just amazing!! The waiter (and me too tbf) forgot about the wine I ordered and doubled the portion as an apology, which was really nice. Definitely will be back

Very good service, very close and friendly. We ordered lasagna, rabioli and garlic bread. We liked the first two dishes a lot and they had forgotten the garlic bread, we reminded them, they brought it to us and did not charge us for it no matter how much we insisted, very good detail. Grazie mille e ci rivedremo presto!

We ate at the restaurant. We got 3 different pizzas. They all tasted really good, so we would love to come again. 4 pizzas, two beers and 2 cokes cost £99.

It's a simple pizza pasta place. The service is friendly. We went on Saturday night and there were people queuing outside, plus lots of Deliveroo drivers waiting for orders. We had a table by the window but had to keep asking for the door to be shut as people kept coming and going and leaving it open. It was windy and cold and at times felt like we were sitting in a corridor. Food is respectable, but expensive for what it is. It was fine, but wouldn't rush back tbh.

A very attentive, friendly and uncomplicated waiter. The atmosphere is inviting. The food was fresh, didn't take very long and was tasty and recommended. Definitely worth a visit.

I popped in on a Saturday around 3PM when it was practically empty looking to grab a coffee and some dessert. I was told by the waiter that 'this is a restaurant' and got shown the door.

(Written perfectly by my wife) On our last night in London, my husband and I and 2 friends ate at Mamma Mia. My spaghetti Bolognese was the best I've ever eaten, including my own made from freshly ground meat and home grown tomatoes. Oh that I could get my hands on chef Luca's grandmother's recipe.The sauce was rich and flavourful, the pasta al dente. My companions ordered penne Arabbiata and spaghetti aglio olio also cooked to perfection. The service was friendly and the owner/manager went out of his way to make the experience memorable. That included ensuring that my husband's forgotten jacket was returned in time for our departure. p.s My wife would love to have the Bolognese recipe!

This restaurant surprises with totally homemade food. Cozy, quiet atmosphere, with good background music at the perfect volume. In particular, Rabib has treated us great, super nice, making an effort to understand our home English, and he has even prepared a kalimotxo that was very delicious.

Very good. When we arrived it was full and they had the courtesy to make room for us as best they could. The service was a little slow, but it was completely worth the wait. We ordered two pizzas, they were delicious. I think two pizzas and a drink (I almost always order tap water) were £40, a more than affordable price for London.

We went for lunch one day, we had spaghetti with garlic and oil and two spaghetti with pesto, I must say they were good, whoever ate the pasta with pesto however immediately felt ill for a few hours I don't know what hurt, one vomited the other one was sick all evening...coincidence? I don't think two people there was definitely something wrong..

We love Mamma Mia! We had dinner twice while in London and both times were excellent. Food is great, attentive service, restaurant is clean. Dessert is to die for! You won’t be disappointed.

Absolutely loved this restaurant. Our host was such a lovely gentleman and made us feel so welcome. Food was fabulous and we didn't feel we had to rush our meal - we sat for over 2hrs enjoying the food and catching up with our friend. Would highly recommend and would definitely go back next time I'm in London.

Really upset experience. Service is really slow. Definitely not a real Italian restaurant. The pizza is not the Italian pizza I expected. Ravioli is dipping in the oil/butter. Seafood risotto is not too bad. Not recommend and will never go there again.

Delicious and cheap food (For Europe), the food arrived quickly, and the comfortable armchairs and the chairs, I don't know, I didn't sit in them, I made sure with the chair.

Nice welcome, attentive service, good food combined with a cozy atmosphere. Extra requests were also taken into account. All in all a nice experience.

I was impressed with the variety of food choices on the menu. The customer service at this restaurant is SPECTACULAR. I’ve never been to a restaurant so attending. My partner disliked something he ordered and they were very attentive. The staff did not get upset and had various options depending on his taste. The next plate he received tasted AMAZING!! I rate this place a 10/10!
