Crescent Cafe in Northumberland

Rude staff and a service charge for sitting in if you wish to use the cafe, so just decided to take out. Ruined by customer service.

The best ice cream but it's very expensive to sit in.

Best plain Italian ice cream I’ve had anywhere.

Cake and coffee after dog walk. Very nice people let us take the dogs in. Pear frangipan cake a bit mushy and too much almond essence but still a treat. Delicious oat milk hot chocolate. Other cakes looked good too. Unfortunately no gluten free so my sister could have nothing 😕

Lovely home made ice-cream. Don't call it vanilla, you'll be in trouble... True Italian Coffee and delicious Italian food. Beautifully clean, Just Go.

The ice cream! I used to cycle here when I was a kid and it has been many years since I had the opportunity to go back...and today brought me back to my childhood in a swift lick of the ice cream. Just as amazing as it always was.

Simly the best ice-cream...I've been coming here since I was a little child with my parents...I brought my kids here...now I'm bringing my grandkids...a little pricey but so worth it!!

Fabulous icecream, best you can get

Visited today after 20+ years and it's the same family made ice cream as it was back then. Genuinely the best Italian ice cream I've had anywhere. Flavour is just incredible and the ice cream is super smooth and creamy with no icy grains.

This place serves exquisite food, you get what you pay for, quality. The risotto is to 'die for' and the apple pie is like how ya granny would have made it, and this is not to mention their best ice-cream anywhere. Don't drive passed this little gem on Seaton Delaval roundabout

Ice-cream and milkshake were both nice. Service took quite a while considering they were quiet - almost left before being served. Staff were friendly though and nice selection of seating areas inside.

The ice cream is fantastic, but we had a Sunday roast and it was all freshly prepared to order. The 15 minute wait was worth it, no microwaving just a great lunch at a good price. Very impressed👏👏👏

Our family loves coming here every time we visit England. The ice cream has a lovely creamy texture and the original recipe is delicious! This time we also enjoyed lunch twice and everyone had something they enjoyed. The Lemon Pasta was a favorite for its light sauce, and the tuna salad had a pesto flavors that made it shine. We always feel welcomed and looked after, which is saying something when you come with a group of 10. Stop by for ice cream and enjoy taking pictures with Paddington!

It's difficult to get to and park. But always very busy, so speaks for itself. Lovely ice cream, staff, and selection of sweets.

Food was mediocre and over a 30 minute wait for a cooked breakfast and a breakfast sandwich. The toast looked like it hadnt even seen any heat. Fried eggs were also under done, Also Wasn't offered any condiments. Very pricey for what you get won't be back

Ice cream cannot be beaten anywhere. Sadly for the money the family have made from the community they live and serve in, and the decades they have lived in it you would think they would be a bit more welcoming, hell they could even crack the odd smile!

We bought loads of ice cream. The vanilla tastes amazing. we bought the biggest tubs they sell, and we wished we got more as we ate it all on the way home 😊 price is a little dear but definitely worth it

Reconmend to try and ice-cream was good, ordered and pointed to choc coated sugar cone but got stand plain sugar cone.

This ice-cream parlour has been here ever since I have been in the UK. People I used to work with in Newcastle used to mention it like some place in a legend. I had no idea I lived so close to the place. The ice-cream is incredible and always hits the spot. If you are passing by. Call in. They have an outside seating area. The coffee served here is really good too. Five stars.

The ice cream and the place looks nice since the extension was built. I have to say though I didn't feel remotely welcome by the people serving the ice cream, I almost felt like a nuisance to them.

Wow! We had Pancakes with Chocolate and Ice cream. They were out of this world! I 100% recommend this exceptional place.

Really nice family-run homemade Italian ice cream shop! Staffs are friendly and nicely. It’s being refurbished and upgraded , but it still kept traditional style and feels, with more room and more comfort! Love it! The ice cream is so smooth and creamy, and it’s not too sweet. Healthy 👍

It's been possibly 20 years since I moved overseas but glad to see some things don't change. The cafe may have been modernised, which looks great, but the ice cream (original) is still as excellent as I remember. No wonder there are still queue's out the door.

The best ice cream you will ever have! You can choose the size of the container you want the ice cream in, the prices are reasonable. The flavors are amazing! Always plenty of staff on hand to help and are very friendly too.

If you don't know Arrighi and you are local, then you have your head in the sand. Recent deco update working well and the outside section is good addition. Pity about the busiest roundabout in North Tyneside out front. Ice cream, old style sweets and Italian sweet offerings make up for it.

I live in London. Every time I visit Northumberland I insist we come here for ice cream. I get a 500ml tub and it's the happiest 15-20 mins of the week. Last time I had banana and fior di latte and it was incredible.
