Cheap cheerful tasty food , with great staff and atmosphere 👌

I was in last Saturday for bottomless brunch for my mam's 50th birthday, I paid for myself and her and we were with a table of 10 all together. I'm very disappointed and honestly feel like I've been robbed blind. I waited 45 mins for my first drink despite ordering it 3 times. I ended up only having two cocktails and a glass of prosecco and my mam only had 3 glasses of prosecco. I can't understand how you can have a room that full and only have one person working the bar making drinks. It certainly wasn't worth £80 and in comparison to other bottomless brunches, this one was the worst I've been to for organisation and attentiveness, it seemed poorly organised and definitely wasn't worth the £80 that I paid. I contacted La Torre on Facebook and they responded by asking where I was sat and since then I have been ignored. People on our table were holding their glasses in the air for drinks and we were being completely blanked and walked past to serve other tables. They say that you can order another drink when your current one is half empty, I'd say good luck with that. I'd save your money and go elsewhere for bottomless brunch.

Booking for a party of 7 people for an evening meal. Warm welcome from staff who showed us to our reserved table. Ordered a drink & a calzone from the menu, which was a 30-minute wait, which we were preadvised, that's how long our food would be and the other 5 orders would be quicker. Well worth wait, good food and amostphere in restaurant. Everyone at the table enjoyed their meal and drinks. Two other parties at nearby tables celebrated a birthday. Would recommend.

Excellent Garlic 🍄 mushrooms. Service was very good as the restaurant was very busy. A little bit cramped. Will go again.

Spent a couple of hours there celebrating my mates 30th birthday. Top service, top food and great atmosphere. Portion sizes were like you get in the States. Class place you have there lads. Keep smashing it 😉👊

First time here excellent dinner and sweets were exceptional also staff very friendly and helpful. Make sure you are hungry as they serve proper portions.

Amazing restaurant! We traveled from Liverpool to stay not far from here and the food is amazing. So SO tasty and very quick service. My steak was cooked to perfection and my fiancé loved his starter and main! As a chef, that's high praise indeed. We also got engaged whilst we were here and the waiters and waitresses made a fuss and brought us a glass of champagne. Next time we are up these ways we will 100% be coming again. Thankyou for an amazing meal and an amazing evening!

Beautiful food! I ordered the muscles in garlic sauce for starter (it was huge) i would recommend they serve less as I was stuffed by the time my main arrived. They were beautiful muscles cooked to perfection 👌. My main was chicken in tomato and chilli sauce. The sauce was very nice and was obviously a specially made sauce, the chicken was boiled and cooked perfectly again, I'm just not a fan of boiled chicken but I still enjoyed it. Definitely will be going again as I want to try more on the menu and review it. Recommended, only down side was I am disabled and the disabled toilet was out of order and its quite a walk down a flight of stairs for normal toilets.

This is the restaurant where you want to be with family to eat or with friends to drink cocktails! We were here with the family, we were served very friendly, the food was excellent. La Torre is definitely recommended for those who love delicious food and want to be served like a king.

It was a bit quiet for a Saturday lunchtime, but it looked like they were setting up for a busier afternoon (parties). Portions were huge, could have just done with a starter! Really tasty. Plates could have been cleaner, service staff were lovely, friendly, knowledgeable about the menu. Overall very good and decent value

Catered for a familly event today. Generous food that was so different to other buffets. All excellent quality and helpful staff.

We always use here when going for an Italians, it's our favourite restaurant. Food is always brilliant, and the service is excellent. The staff actually makes your experience even better. We recently just tried Sunday lunch, and wow, it's absolutely beautiful. We got the 2 courses for 11.99. The portion sizes are actually huge inwent for a small lunch. We will definitely be back probably every Sunday 😄

First time ordering from La Torre. Ordered a Sunday lunch for delivery. Lots of beautiful, freshly cooked vegetables, the turkey was delicious cooked to perfection and a tasty gravy to add. The best Sunday lunch I’ve had by far. Friendly delivery driver too. Highly recommend La Torre and will definitely be ordering again. Thank you 😊

Dead fly on my pizza was told it wasn’t on pizza when it left the kitchen by person who didn’t serve it, it was deducted from bill won’t be back

Just the most fantastic meal.....carbonara linguine followed by sticky toffee pudding and my wife had the chicken stroganoff followed by mint brownie. The food was well cooked, portions were a good size and the presentation was fantastic. The price was exceptional, less than £35 including two diet cokes for a fantastic meal. The service was brilliant, all the staff were friendly and looked after us brilliantly. The decor is good and the atmosphere was lovely. It was quiet when we arrived but they were hosting an Ibiza event so by the time we left it was buzzing. We need to come back more often.

One of the staff said we cater for all which was lovely to hear blonde hair girl studying at uni in Hartlepool thank you for your customer service and chat. I had potato skins with garlic mayo and sweet chilli sauce dip Chicken kiev pizza with vegan cheese And desert gluten free brownie with ice-cream £17.95 for 3 courses where can you beat that with amazing and delicious food! Really disappointed phoned about 4 days ago to book a table for a Birthday meal for Sunday 3rd September 6pm. As the party arrived at the door we were greeted with a glazed look. I said my name and was told the kitchen was closed they were finished for the night. I said I had booked and left phone number they said no booking on the system no real apologies. This was chosen as the person who's birthday it was loves the restaurant. Luckily another Italian restaurant outside of Bedlington when I phoned them was open until 8pm and accommodated us. I will be returning back there and will think twice about visiting LaTorre again.

Amazing food and good prices, lovely home made chips and good gluten free options Staff were very knowledgeable and helpful, they have a separate fryer for gluten free and gluten free pizzas are lovely. They usually do cheap deals during holidays where kids eat for really cheap. Gluten free mint aero brownie was amazing! Worth going for that alone!

Visited for Sunday lunch and really enjoyed our food, however we waited 35 mins between starter to main which is in my opinion is a bit to long, I must say the restaurant was busy so can understand a slight delay. I would recommend a visit and we will be back.

Avoid at all costs.. where to start. Garlic bread oily and undercooked on the bottom, way to sweet. Battered king prawns there was more batter then prawn. Mac and cheese tasteless and sauce was sour and from a jar. Main course carbonara was bland and heavy. Chicken stuffed with chorizo?? More like the cheapest pepperoni. I won't go into detail but after eating here I've had to worst day in the bathroom. My partner and I eat out at least once every 2 weeks and this was the worst food we've ever had. Would give it a minus 5 if I could.

Music too loud, screaming kids. Starter looked like it had been plated up for hours, enjoyed the mains but won’t be rushing back.

Went for a family meal part anniversary and part birthday meal. Staff was friendly and helpful and I had the pleasure of everyone singing me happy birthday with a free limoncello and a sombrero on my head. As for prices well worth it for the food we got.

Found this amazing gem of a restaurant today. Staff was amazing they really went that extra mile. Food was home cooked, authentic and just delicious. Could not believe the price either two course meal for two people and a drink for under £35. Will definitely return!! Thanks guys keep up the good work x

Overated. I went with 2 friends for bottomless brunch on Saturday afternoon, and we were seated on a table for 2. We wouldn't have been able to fit our food on never mind any drinks. I asked to be moved to a larger table and the waiter didn't seem to happy about it even though I had booked 5 weeks in advance and there were plenty of empty tables. The food was nothing special at all and the drinks were atrocious, especially the cocktails. My friend had a blood orange gin and tonic served in a large cheap glass with a bit of shrivelled passionfruit in it!! despite us repeatedly asking for smaller glasses with less ice and a proper gin glass. The toilets were a mess with the floors strewn in empty toilet rolls and the handrail up the stairs was a sticky dirty germ harbouring mess. At £40 per person it is not something I would recommend to anyone. I certainly won't be returning.

3 of us went 30th December. The service and hhe food was first rate. A really nice friendly atmosphere. This is a real gem of a place. The details seem to be important. Such as, another table ordered a Brandy. This was served properly over a warm bath of water. Great pride is taken by the whole team in the roles they perform. They should be justifiably proud.

Drinks were disgusting, had no alcohol in but charged full price, didn’t even ID us and threatened with police. Chicken was rock solid and chewy , overall disgusting experience.

Shocking service, had asked to be severd, they didnt serve some of the starters till after everyone else had finished theirs, some mains missing, and some cold !! Not even apologetic just said they wouldnt charge us for the cold meal, which wasnt eaten. Sorry but would not reccomend.

First visit. Absolutely excellent. Staff attentive, friendly and efficient. Food excellent. Choice wide. Cost extremely reasonable. Ambience abound. Compared to other Italian restaurants in the area it is second to none. It was recommend to us and we will not hesitate to recommend to others.

We had a lovely evening. Staff so friendly. Food was delicious. We stayed in the monopoly apartment. Nipping clean everything we needed.

We were there last night with family (3 generations) and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. There was plenty on our plates, everyone’s was hot and tasty, the atmosphere and service were excellent

Overall lovely but there were a couple of niggles. The portion size for the starters were very small for the price but were tasty so it's a shame the portion size let them down. Mains were nice and a much better portion size. Puddings were absolutely phenomenal, best part of the meal! Chocolate fudge cake was to die for 😍 Service was a bit hitty missy, one waiter was rushing us a lot at first but when a different waiter took over it was much more relaxed. Will definitely be returning.

Lovely starter but my main was disappointing, the rice in my risotto felt like long grain, it was a bit tasteless. Staff were excellent though, lovely place. Would recommend (don't get the risotto).

There is always a warm friendly welcome from the staff at La Torre. There were three of us dining on Thursday evening. One of our party had been delayed but the staff were very accommodating and didn't hassle us to order until our friend arrived. The food on the other hand was disappointing. Ordered bruschetta for starter. Now I don't want or expect huge portions for a starter but even I was shocked at the portion size. One tiny (and I mean tiny) slice of toasted bread with topping and a bowl with about half a dozen olives. If this had been part of the Rapido menu I would have thought 'fair enough' but at £5.95 it was overpriced to say the least. Meatballs for me and friend's Lasagne for main course were both bland and tasteless therefore most of it was left on the plate. Needless to say the food was a let down.

Had an absolute fab night for my daughters 18th. The staff are the absolute best. Italian buffet was so delicious. I would totally recommend this place for your party's. The room is free. All you pay for is the buffet. And well worth it too. The staff go out of the way to help. Thankyou so much xx
