Nice food a bit on the expensive side bring your earplugs though

Went early but had a large party in got sat down straight away drinks ordered and waited to choose our food .once ordered our main came quick food was nice a little expensive. We tried to order another drink 🍸 but it was getting busier so had to wait ..mains finished and our plates taken away we was asked if we wanted a pudding and the menu came pretty quickly but after half hr of trying to get someone's attention to order we gave up and got the bill .the place is lovely and clean and looks popular but we won't be returning

I came here for my birthday and I genuinely haven't had any worse food in my life. The bruschetta for starters came burnt, the monkfish for main was absolutely tragic - it stated it was served with risotto but it came with basmati rice, don’t advertise something if you’re not going to serve it. The whole dish was so bland, if you’re not going to put salt on the table at least make sure the food is seasoned. My partner had the chicken in peppercorn sauce which came out very raw which is just what you want when going out for a “nice” meal. There was one waiter which couldn’t be more helpful but the rest were very rude, when I told the waiter about the risotto he just replied “risotto is rice” and walked off, risotto and basmati rice are completely different things my friend, understand your menu and lose the chip off your shoulder. We weren’t the only ones sending food back, there was at least 3/4 tables with pizzas who were sending their food back which then led to the staff arguing. All in all, my birthday meal was tragic and I wouldn’t return with a starving dog. I’m not one for writing reviews but this just had to be done.

Wasn’t overly impressed last time but thought I would try again. Waited to be noticed join arrival but no one came so we went in ourselves. Starters were fine. Chicken dish was pink. Waiter simply tried to reassure my friend it was fine when she wasn’t comfortable eating it. Small error with size of drink - but happy to pay for a pint since it was accidentally served. I ordered a seafood dish and was astounded to find it was minced up seafood - what a waste of seafood (!!) it was full of grit so crunchy at times but couldn’t be avoided since all the seafood was minced up all together. Huge disappointment.

We go here a lot. Love the food and the staff are fantastic, especially loved the cheeky one ... only downside is it is so noisy

Not enough choice in main meals. Staff no smiles on their faces. Too many screaming kids and running sbout. Not a place to go to if you want a nice quiet meal and background music to relax.

Chose to visit Capri for a Saturday night meal with a friend. When we entered the restaraunt we were waiting for over 5 minutes for someone to greet us at reception before bring seated at the table. Short man with dark blue shirt, grey goatie beard, think it was the manager walked straight past us no smile or greeting to say hi and welcome to capri. Then walked straight past us to the computer behind the desk felt like ages. Just looked at me blankly, so I said 'hi we have booked a table for 7pm'. His response was 'that doesn't help me!' In a sarcastic and somewhat rude tone. So I said my name and he then paused and made some sort of joke that there were 2 people of the same name booked tonight. Then escorted us to our table. Meal was fine, not perfect but waitress service really excellent no complaints for them. Just think they need to work on their greeting when someone first walks in, you expect to be welcomed and this is your first impression of the restaraunt. Then if the managers doing that he comes off as arrogant. Think he needs some lessons in customer service.

Friendly and attentive staff, fantastic food - light & fresh good quality ingredients. Lovely atmosphere. Well worth a visit, will be back again and again.

Great place, best swordfish dish special eaten since Cyprus. I don't mind the price for good food It worked out as £36 per person, I will come again hopefully sooner rather than later

We have been to Capri on multiple occasions and it never disappoints. The food is always absolutely spot on both dining in and home delivery. The staff are always very friendly and helpful. Beautiful venue absolutely perfect for special occasions or a little weekday treat.

It was okay but compared to Capri at the vine something was missing. It was mid afternoon so the atmosphere was quiet, but the food was not up to scratch. It was quite cold on arrival and as much as we love garlic we found it quite overpowering. The garlic bread was swimming in oil which wasn't great.

After being delayed by traffic we were welcomed with open arms by wonderful Sergio & his fantastic team Izzy Gina & Brooke were just excellent. Top drinks as always by Oliver . The food was absolute perfection. My husband & daughter said they were the best fillet steaks ever taster . Nice as always to say hello to Radu Thanks to this brilliant team ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Came for a birthday meal, front of house man Sergio was rude immediately, youngest in the party didn’t meet his standards for the dress code, we apologised & asked how we can resolve, no customer service resolution told we “should go eat elsewhere” and he commented “who’d bring their son out dressed like this” completely unprofessional, he was smirking/laughing while going on seemed to enjoy the situation & basically tried to ruin our evening, we’ve enjoyed many nights here but won’t be returning when that’s the welcome you receive, very disappointed never had any similar issues at any other Capri

Absolutely beautiful restaurant, however the food was overpriced for the quality. The starters were poor and the mains were expensive for the quality and the amount. This came highly recommended so it was a disappointment. Unfortunately, won't be returning.

Only called in for coffee but very nice, excellent service as always.

Excellent Service from Oliver. Service: The bartender, Oliver, made this experience to be excellent. He was very quick on carrying out orders but also his finesse/technique and attention to detail when serving food and drinks was one of the best I’ve seen. Politeness was outstanding and a great team member to have. Food: The food from starters to main were amazing. Full of flavour and of good portion sizes. The creamier plates were not too heavy which was great. I would definitely be back when I return from the US. Thank you.

I have given 5 stars for the food with the proviso that I have been here only once and not had the opportunity to try various options from the menu. The food is ofcourse italian, consistent with the restaurant name. The ingrediants are fresh and the flavours will depend upon your chosen dish. The ambience is warm and the patrons tend to be groups of friends or family. Everything is very clean and the cooking area is open as in a dining kitchen. They have their own unpaid car park and access for wheel chairs is well catered for as everything is at ground level. Prices will depend upon how many courses you take and typically range from £15-30 and whether you add in alcoholc drinks.

We were seated in an excellent restaurant which has beautiful decorations and atmosphere. The menu has a good range of Italian dishes which are well presented and cooked. The staff are friendly and professional. You have to pay a bit more than a typical Italian restaurant but it's worth it.

First time dining in last night after having a few take out meals which have mostly been nice. We was in a a group for a family birthday and was seated near the bar which is also near the exit. Every time someone left the restaurant or went into the smoking area it was absolutely freezing so spent most of the night with my coat on. The noise level is quite loud but the restaurant was only half full so can imagine if it was at full capacity it would get significantly louder. After been sat down over 10 minutes we had to flag a waitress down to ask for drinks, then when the drinks arrived the order was mixed up and some forgotten. Then again we had to flag a waitress down after another 15 minutes to try order our starters. You definitely don’t get service with a smile. The lady who was serving us had a face of thunder and looked like she’d had enough of life .Food came out relatively quick but once again food was wrong and had to be sent back so some of the table had finished a lot earlier than others. I would suggest if you order a garlic bread .. don’t unless you love extreme levels of garlic. I could only eat one slice as the garlic was so overpowering. We never saw the waitress again for drinks and ended up just going to the bar ourselves, the man serving behind the bar was lovely though, only person in the place who cracked a smile 😃. Mains arrived and in all honesty mine was lovely but some of the others said they had eaten better. some of us also ended up with the wrong order as when they brought the calzones out they didn’t differentiate which was which so some had started eating before realising they had the wrong one but we sorted that ourselves. Then came the time for the bill… In really small writing at the bottom they add 10% optional service charge which we didn’t notice till we got home as we just equally split the bill between us. We always tip when we eat out but as we didn’t see it and it’s squeezed in between 2 totals, you think it’s Vat added on, we tipped again and the server never said anything to us so they ended up with quite a substantial tip as the bill for food alone was over £300. I would of happily paid if the service had been great but having to flag someone down to take your order which then comes out wrong repeatedly and in the end you dare not ask again so have to go to the bar yourself is not great service . I’m not sure I’d go again to eat in, the food itself was just okay and the service definitely let it down.

Enjoyed the meal and beautiful restaurant.One annoying thing was happy birthday song coming over loud speaker for peoples birthdays at least 5 times in the period we were in there. Did get a bit annoying 😂

right me and me bestfriend went for brunch at ya propa fancy restaurant ye but paymen karimi didnt pop out at my party, he was no where to be seen. this guy made me write 700 words in business like do you know how much pain ive gone through and you cant even show up. i wanted a happy meal and u didnt even bring me anything, absoloutely disgusting do not recomend thbis place !!!!!!!!!!

Got the chicken kebab, absolutely lovely, only problem is, just not enough chicken in the kebab and having to put chips in the kebab to fill it, p.s chips are lovely too 😋

This is a fairly new restaurant we went on a Sunday evening although the restaurant was busy however service was quick the food was of good quality and well presented The staff were all polite and efficient .we enjoyed our vist and would book there again

Beautifully clean and stylish restaurant with very friendly and professional staff! We just had a very reasonably priced 2 course meal and it was absolutely delicious! I cannot recommend this place highly enough. We will be back!

Great restaurant, visit for second time now , We love it ,definitely going back again

Pizzas are beautiful, desserts are sweet and a good portion size. We order takeout and it arrives hot and within a good time period. The only improvement I could suggest would be to not have the stalks in the mushroom risotto as they are chewy but otherwise creamy and delicious.

I ordered a chicken Calzone, plates were cold got 1/3 of it eaten with no contents within, eventually a couple of pieces chicken within, not even half a chicken breast, a little cheese & spinach. Complained to the waiter who collected our plates & all he did was grin NO NO!!. Went to see the manager & all he did was to try & fob me of with (if you had told us about it we could have made you another one NO!!!) You should not have to have another one made in a restaurent of this quality, if this is the quality you provide for every calzone then it is a NO NO it is a rip off. The manager did take the price of the meal off the bill but that is not the point,. Do not visit this place at all!!

A lovely meal with another couple. Not a cheap meal out but we did choose expensive dishes. The food was of excellent standard. Very popular for birthdays as we heard the ‘Happy birthday’ sang about eight times while we there

Been a few times for Sunday lunch. Nice and service good. Always got a suitable table apart from Xmas day which is disappointing as they can’t accommodate us, not many places can turn down a table of 8 people at 68.00 a head plus drinks

It was like a school canteen, although we had a tab on the table the staff were not able to count. And the cap it all I had my car keyed in the car park. What fun.( Not).

Lunchtime meal on 29th Sept for my wife's birthday everything on menu canbe gluten free which is a medical requirement for her excellent food excellent service would highly recommend especially if you have food intolerance or allergies. no idea why I've never been here before, great food and there was plenty to the antipasti, I need to run in to my pudding stomach just to finish the main course. Nom.

So so noisy, why do you put small groups next to large parties when there is so much available space? Food was bang average and pricey.

We've been eating at Capri every couple of weeks since it first opened. The food is consistently well presented and always tasty. The staff are friendly, good humoured, and above all professional. Nothing is ever too much trouble and we have never been disappointed - well done Capri. See you again soon!

So having seen rave reviews the family decided we should give it a go Really glad we did booked a table for 7.15 and the place was absolutely packed Shown to table and this bit let it down sat for 20 mins nobody came to see about our drink order so eventually we managed to grab someone's attention and order drinks and finally given menus by a really abrupt waitress Finally we managed to order food and when it arrived it was delicious although didn't think the scallop starter was worth 12.50 3 tiny scallops on what tasted like tinned mushy peas everybody else enjoyed there starters 2 calamari and fried mozzarella Didn't wait long for mains 2×rib eye steaks cooked to perfection one lasagne and one calzone pizza all agreed very good Only one had dessert tirramisu which looked and apparently tasted very good rest of us just had coffee All in all a very enjoyable meal out but just let down by staff who seemed that they didn't want to be there That's the reason for the 4 stars

Wonderful Italian resteraunt nestled in the middle of Mirfield. Modern styling with open kitchen and fantastic food and drink.

Food was very poor to be hones. Went with a massive group of people. We had to wait ages for a table, apparently because the prior table wouldnt leave, so ended up being there super late. When we finally got sat down, the food came quickly but it was pretty bland and tasteless. I believe they offered the birthday girl something, which is great but we all experienced the same terrible service.

The food and the service are always amazing, the team are so attentive and the team in the kitchen are equally fantastic. Capri will always be our first choice of restaurant for a night out. If you haven’t been, I highly recommend the lobster linguini!

We have been visiting Capri Mirfield consistently for over two years. The food and atmosphere is consistently good. My daughter had her wedding at Capri and we couldn’t have chosen anywhere better. Sergio and Will, JP, Michaela and staff are so attentive to every detail, they cannot be faulted, such lovely people ❤️ Would highly recommend to anyone wishing to visit 🥂🍾🍻

Really disappointed tonight. Been loads of time and had various dishes and one in particular - tagliatelle alla cream - but this time it had no cream at all. 2 of 7 of us had this and left it and complained. Nothing was done and charged in full. Really disappointing after spending so much money here in the past.

After a warm & enthusiastic welcome from Vicky the wonderful hostess ,we checked the menu whilst having the best cocktails I have ever had . We were looked after by this A team including Will , Radu ,Izzy ,Gina & Oliver ( the cocktail king )They are always enthusiastic friendly & so happy to look after us. The service is attentive but not intrusive. We enjoyed starters , mains & delicious puddings .All cooked to perfection. I love that everyone is smart , it’s a restaurant not a sports bar . Capri Mirfield has the best atmosphere & I can’t wait to return 🥂

We were looking forward to visiting Capri on Saturday evening. I wish we hadn't now. What a waste of money. The noise in there was unbearable. You had to really talk loudly just so you could hear each other. Even the waitress asked me twice when I ordered as she could not hear what I wanted. The whole dining area is open plan and the noise of many diners trying to over talk each other was unbearable. The dining area reminded me of a 1970's works canteen where everyone has to shout to be heard. The food is nothing to tempt you back for. I have eaten at many local restaurants around Mirfield and they are far better. Seriously disappointed. I informed the manager of our experience at Capri and he said they were addressing the noise. Ear defenders on arrival would be a start. I would give it no stars if it were possible on the options. Never again Capri.

Shocking behaviour from the front of house man. How dare you speak to my daughter like you did. You need sacking or training on how to speak to customers. When I worked in the industry we were told that customers were always right. With your attitude you’re going to loose a lot of customers. Horrible horrible man! Avoid at all costs.

Very disappointing experience after weeks of planning all went to pot as soon as we arrived we were left hanging for 30 min after our booking time for a surprise 50th bday while they appeased a party that had been there for 3hr then the food arrived sporadically some starters were finished before the last ones arrived tbh was a terrible experience considering it was a allegedly high end location please consider this if you are planning to have a large gathering there don't assume that it's all organised

Extremely rude front of house meeet and greet man/ about 3 ft you probly know who he is , would totally not disrespect the place but that man should be fired immediately he was rude , disrespectful lost the company over well over 1000s of pounds his attitude to my daughter in law was disgusting and to everyone who entered in the party group, he single handely ruined my son and neices birthday get together and 19 others in the family group which had traveled to attend in my opion as I work in the hospitality business was an absolute disgrace we was all smartly dressed and have eaten in numerous capri restaurants and not had this problem , we will be taking this further and would apprfeed back on how this has been handled . 24th August . 8pm table for 19 . Very disappointed. Loud music & atmosphere, very smokey and hot from the open kitchen and left smelling like I'd been cooking the food myself. The food itself was bland and tasteless, I got a seafood platter with salsa Verde and I could barely taste any fresh green sauce, the fish had no flavour. I will not be going back here.

Booked to eat at Mirfield with my family which we have done on many occasions. Arrived to see a notice taped to the door stating that “no sports wear” was allowed. My husband and son we wearing cotton T-shirts and shorts with designer fashion logos....

Lovely food and good menu More than a budget restaurant. Can be noisy, but so are many Italian. Might be limited lunch menu..check
