Always a favourite! Excellent italian food, amazing attentive service by Jolanta this evening, and beautiful solid authentic interior and decor. I usually have the ragu pasta sauce but went for the seafood pasta with gluten free penne and it didn't disappoint. Other half had pizza with buffalo mozza and nduja ...fresh basil on top. Starter - had the GF DF octopus fennel salad. Not usually keen on octopus but this was so fresh and the dressing was lovely. Quality of food is really good, if you've not been - book a table and see for yourself. *(Would love it even more if they did GF pizza but appreciate that may require a seperate pizza oven....can't have it all lol! ;)

I have been here multiple times with my partner, we love it! We are always well looked after and made to feel like we are back in Italy. It’s a great places for a quiet/intimate nights. The bar staff are amazing especially Luca and Mattel they are also very funny and dish up the best cocktails I’ve had in Leigh on sea

Went for a birthday celebration, and we were looked after so well. Staff are very accommodating and happy in their work. The set menu, along with the great deal on their cocktails are worth the visit. My starter was the rice balls, and the accompanying sauce was bellissimo! I ordered the sea bass, which was cooked to perfection and very flavoursome. I have to confess I have been here a few times over the years, and it wasn't great. However, this was not the case on this particular day. I shall be returning!

Thoroughly enjoyed Felini's with a relaxing atmosphere and attentive team. Excellent menu and food was quality. Definitely recommend and will return.

Went for dinner with a friend. Honestly outstanding. Food was incredible, venue and vibe was amazing and the staff were so accommodating and attentive. We had the goats cheese salad and aranchini to start, lamb and the scallop risotto main and the tiramisu. All expertly cooked and throughly delicious, and some super tasty cocktails too. Absolute 5 star night out. Will definitely be returning. Thank you!

Have eaten here a few times now and we have loved it each time. The food is excellent and service is brilliant. Very friendly wait staff topping up our wine glasses and always ready to take a drinks order. We say out on the terrace on a warm summers evening and the place had a lovely ‘buzz’. Will ve returning many more times🩵

The online menu was different from the menu in the restaurant. The mixed olives - 3 bowls were put on the table. We didn't order them, so I assumed they were free. No, they were NOT. The house red and white wine was really good, but £25 per bottle. My skate was delicious but absolutely swimming in butter. The seafood linguine was excellent, apparently. Would I go back? Yes, I would. The staff were excellent and extremely helpful. No on street parking, though, until after 6 pm.

Visited Fallini’s this evening - The best sea bass i’ve ever eaten! Great presentation for all meals. Staff were all so lovely also. Thank you very much.

Not as great as we were led to believe. Went there once and, having taken a bite, my wife found here food was cold. The food was taken away, stuck in a microwave and brought back - the actual piece of fish with the bite taken out of it. It went downhill from there. Never going back there again which is a shame. However, there's always Cucina - now that IS class!!! 👍👊❤️

We have just moved to the area and came to Fellini’s for my birthday dinner. Food was gorgeous, the staff were super friendly. We were reminded of our honeymoon in Positano so feel like this restaurant will be a special place for us in the coming years! Very much looking forward to the warmer weather to enjoy the roof terrace 💕

Popped in for lunch. Didn’t book but got a nice table by the window. The food was so delicious and the chocolate brownie for dessert was the best I’ve had for a long time. The staff are very welcoming and polite. The service is brilliant and I would be happy to go here more often. It’s visually a lovely looking restaurant. I couldn’t ask for any more. Had a very disappointing visit to Fellinis. There were three of us, the squid in tempura batter was awful, it wasn't tempura just this white coating with the squid being the most toughest we had ever had, awful. Our mains consisted of a Carbonara which had such a thick sauce with a bitter taste, I couldn't eat much of, my friend had a pasta dish with beef, it was so salty, she only managed a few mouthfuls, her husband had the Capricciosa pizza, like the other meals, it was bland. It is quite expensive but we wouldn't have minded if it has been nice. To us it was a waste of money. We were given some liqueurs but it was too little too late. Would not return.

Lovely food, good sized portions and value for money. Staff were friendly and attentive but didn’t rush us. Asparagus and spinach and red pepper salad was a good size, and the grilled mackerel came as two (not one) fillets on braised fennel, whilst the cod on spinach was lovely and thick and all were nicely good. Tartiflette to share (potatoes, bacon and melted cheese yum), followed by pineapple panacotta and an affogato with a little jug of espresso and a little jug of either baileys or amaretto which was a nice touch. We parked in a car park in a nearby side road, and had a table in the window. There is also a bar and roof terrace. The loos were immaculately clean and nicely decorated with flowers and greenery galore.

Average food. Service too quick; 2 courses served and y within 4mins. Staff friendly. Decor lovely. Better Italians nearby.

What a wonderful lunch we all had. Having lived in Naples for many years we often crave an authentic Neopolitan pizza which is hard to find in the UK, how happy we were to stumble across an Italian restaurant in Essex that delivered just that! I only wish I lived locally so I could visit this restaurant regularly. The service was impeccable and the manager was delightful to chat with about Italy. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who appreciates authentic Italian cuisine, it really is a true slice of Italy. Thank you to the staff for a lovely experience.

As tourists we walked in off the Street for lunch as it looked clean and we read the menu. We wanted the set lunch menu but we were 3 minutes out of time but they did it for us. We absolutely loved it. Could not fault the food, staff or ambience. Anna & Christina were delightful. All the staff were so friendly. We've recommended it to our friends who we are staying with as they live nearby.

Hands down best Italian restaurant in Leigh. Quick and lovely service, superb food and a very flavourful atmosphere that results in an authentic and very enjoyable eating experience. 100% recommended!

Truly delicious food, generous portions and friendly and really helpful, lovely staff. We went for lunch on a Thursday, when the atmosphere was calm and gave us very welcome “slow time“ that allowed us to unwind. Highly recommended.

What a little gem of a restaurant! Visited there for the first time today for my birthday and the whole experience was amazing. Food delicious and plentiful, service amazing, friendly and lovely atmosphere. Had our 4 grandchildren with us, 3 of which required highchairs. They were catered for wonderfully. So child friendly. Lovely meal last night great staff & service

Visited the restaurant last Saturday for a organised birthday party. Found the atmosphere and service pleasant, and the food delicious! However, the experience was dampened by the astronomical charge of £9.00 for a simple latte, that was requested after the meal. A drinks menu wasn’t presented at the time, so was unable to gauge the price before ordering. If a second visit was to occur I wouldn’t order coffee again. Take heed those that visit…

I was a guest and did not know the area. Fellini's was easy to find. Staff were lovely, as was the decor. The food was delicious and I mean really lovely. So much we couldn't finish it all and was offered a box to take the rest home. We were so glad we did. the Tiramasu was home made, was the best I ever had. My only two regrets are that ...I didn't order an extra pudding to take home....I do not live nearby to make it my favourite and local restaurant.

This is an amazing restaurant with a great selection of food, the staff were so on the ball and a brilliant atmosphere. I had the steak which was so tender and tasty.

Have driven past this restaurant many times and always wanted to try it. Last night was that time and we were not disappointed. Food was delicious and very much home cooked. The meatball for starters were most excellet. Will definitely be returning

Great cocktails, delicious food, friendly staff and good service. We often go here for our date nights and this time we had an early sitting at 6pm which got busy very soon after! A popular spot with the locals and you can see why, with reliable service and quality of food (portions sizes decent too)set in a lovely environment certainly one of the best options for eating out in the area in my opinion and as close to London standards as we’ve come across since moving out here.

We brought our mother to this restaurant for a special birthday lunch today. When we booked we told the restaurant it was for a special birthday, on entering the restaurant we reminded the front of house staff about the birthday and could they bring out a desert for her birthday, during the meal we reminded them once again about the desert and it never came. As we were leaving and getting our coats we told the front of house staff we were disappointed the restaurant ignored our request and we were told the chef was just doing it now, we had already had after dinner coffee, settled the bill and stood by the front door putting our coats on! So we never did get the birthday desert for her. Most the table ordered the chicken escalope, every single one brought up was overcooked and burnt. Not once did any of the waiting staff when they took away the empty glasses ask would you like another drink, we had to call them over for service every single time. I really hate leaving negative reviews for local restaurants but for an expensive family birthday lunch this was a terribly poor experience both with the food and service.

Really nice place nice service. However packed so waited age's for the food and the noise from the people could not hold a conversation. However is Christmas, so will give it another try in the new year.

Haven't been here in a while and used to really rate it but after 3 years the menu hadn't even changed. The staff are brilliant and the service top notch but the food is super average. £300 for 3 people, I felt like walking to the kebab shop for a flavour satisfaction. Average beyond words. Scallops (so small) on some green slime with bacon bits and no ndjula crumb. Pasta so over cooked it was slimey. Lemon tart pastry soft and soggy. I won't be back. £100 per head ridiculous

Fabulous meal and experience on a Saturday for a Christmas get together with 21 people. The food was all well received...monkfish was out of hand! Would go back.

Went on a work Christmas do and was booked for a month, Food average. The worst part was the way we were put upstairs and 5 people to a tiny Booth with no lighting!!! (sooooo disappointing) I asked to be moved as I was claustrophobic with rude responses. Will never return , avoid at all costs !!!

Starters nice but mains were very average / bad. Cocktails were decent but not worth the visit just for the drinks. Service was not good - no explanation that the lamb main did not come with any potatoes so nothing extra was ordered. Staff were not helpful. Will not be returning.

Lovely authentic restaurant. Good service. Excellent and good value lunch time menu. My friend was happy with the vegetarian food. Food was very tasty. Enjoyed the goats cheese salad starter, sea bass main and home made panacotta for dessert all for £20. Would definitely go again.

Lovely time with family here we saw interesting pictures which made us laugh a little and amazingly friendly staff food was amazing and quite filling I would visit here again

We had fun identifying the Hollywood guys and gals adorning the walls sporting classic masks from Venice - Sophia Loren gone blond was a tricky one. Strolled in for a late lunch hence only a trickle of diners present - pasta and pizza both good slightly heavy on hot spices with the pasta, at £4.50 a liter the tap filtered water was expensive, would have expected a branded water at similar price point or close. Batter on calamari needed more seasoning for interest although nicely fresh. Ambience is provided by a plethora of vegetation - getting to be a norm in Italian eatery nowadays - good quality fittings and furniture always good to enjoy. Service prompt and helpful - 10% will be added to the total.

Lovely little restaurant with proper Italian vibe but that was the best bit. The food was poor. I ordered the seafood pizza which was sparse in seafood and very soggy. I have had better Pizza Hut pizzas. One of the waitresses was rude and needs a course in customer service. Overrated would not go back

What an amazing find this restaurant was on our day trip to sunny Leigh. We just popped in to enquire if the lunch deal was on as it was a bank holiday (it was!) and we were greeted by a lovely welcoming lady on reception. She mentioned there was a roof top terrace & offered to show it to us. Of course we fell in love with it & stayed! We weren’t rushed into ordering & just got ourselves a nice bottle of pinot blush to start. The lunch deal is such good value & we couldn’t resist 3 courses. Now I’m a hard foodie to please as I’ve worked as a chef - our dishes were presented well, tasted amazing & portion sizes good. The staff were friendly and in particular Anna who looked after us so well. Our bill was £71 - 3 courses, bottle of vino & 10% service included - absolute winner in my opinion - much better value than the busy sea front view restaurants! We will defo be returning - thank you everyone!

My wife and I fancied a bite to eat on Saturday night, but hadn’t booked anywhere. We did not expect to get a table as a last minute walk in, but neither did we think the chap at the front of the restaraunt would be so rude. We stood there for 20 seconds while we were ignored, bearing in mind at this point he was unaware we didn’t have a booking. When he eventually decided to “greet us”, and we asked if on the off chance they could squeeze us in, there was no “let me see what we can do” or go and have a drink somewhere and we’ll squeeze you in in half an hour”, moreover that it was almost beneath the restaurant that someone should turn up without a booking, like they were doing us a favour by even contemplating seating us. This isn’t the way to remain competitive, as regular customers only last for so long and the restaurant clearly isn’t bothered about attracting new ones.

We last visited this restaurant around 6 months ago and we had an OK experience. We returned last Friday night as we thought our first visit was just an off day for them. We were WRONG! the whole experience was just poor, on our arrival our table was not ready and we had to wait in their bar, even though it was not full (a ploy to get us to spend more money) the food was OK I had the steak and my partner had a fish dish, but the tiramisu for dessert was just poor at nearly 10.00 (with the service charge, it did not taste like tiramisu at all. Very expensive and I really did not feel the service charge should have been added on as we had to wait for our table. There are so many better restaurants nearby. Avoid!

Really bad. The tables are far too close together, when they give you a choice of joining the end of someone else’s table (they’ll say it’s a separate table- it really isn’t) or be crammed against their cutlery/ till drawers, then they probably should have just told you they were full and not booked you in. I know it’s hard to keep a restaurant going successfully but when you prioritise number of services in at one time over the customers experience to the degree that Fellinis do, it begins to look like greed. Also an unpleasant atmosphere as it seems to be largely full of groups of teenagers. The food is ok but when you have a backside in your face every minute as someone barges through the tiny gap between you and the next table to get to the kitchen, toilet, till, cutlery (that’s right under your arm) it’s a bit off putting. Won’t be going back and would never recommend.

Fantastic experience. Booked for a table of ten for my fathers 80th birthday and the staff really were amazing. From accommodating us with our frequent changes to the number of guests on the booking, to the service on the day, I couldn’t have asked for more. We went for the lunch menu which had a wide variety of dishes and is excellent value. The food arrived quickly, hot, well presented and amply portioned. Everything we had was delicious and authentically flavoured. Would have taken pictures but everyone tucked in before I got the chance. Highly recommended and we will certainly be back at the earliest opportunity. Update: On our second visit the food and service were just as excellent as the first time, and this time I managed to take some photos!

Went with friends on the fly. Really hospitable staff. Drinks area is rather small but a nice area and would go back. Cocktails are roughly £10 each and they add a service charge.

Disappointed in whole experience - felt there were too many tables squashed in for the guests to eat comfortably. Out of the 4 of us, only one was completely satisfied with his food. Me being GF, I have to be very careful where and what I eat and am well used to a much reduced list to choose from but to receive standard supermarket pasta in a bland sauce with 4 prawns (plus a langoustine-type big prawn across the top with a strange taste/texture) was very disappointing. The sauce lacked vibrancy in both taste and appearance. A bottle of screw top wine for £30 was also a let down. Perhaps we expected too much

Extremely disappointing experience. Menu was limited, food poorly cooked and tasteless. The quality of the food will have to improve drastically for this place to survive when there are so many fantastic Italian restaurants elsewhere in the town (with far more competitive prices). Not a chance I will ever bother returning.

What a lovely surprise. We came here Tuesday to celebrate my wife's birthday. My daughter booked this restaurant knowing what my feelings are regarding so called Italian restaurants in and around Leigh on sea. And being a trained chef and haveing some very poor experiences with so called Italian restaurants. I must say I was impressed from the moment we entered. To a lovely warm smile. Somebody takeing are coats and being seated at are table. The staff were very attentive. And helpful explaining the dishes to us. The food was very fresh and so tasty. The starters ie the meat balls were fabulous so tasty. Along with the spicey meat garlic bread and the selection of deep fried fish. ThumbsUp you have impressed me. The mains were very filling and very fresh my chicken Milanese was huge and tasty and my daughters pizza was large and fresh and tasty. While my wife had the Argentina prawns with pasta which she devoured. Desert was just as interesting and tasty. When I paid the bill. I asked the waitress if when paying the bill with a 15% service charge added did the staff actually receive it to which she said yes. That's good and nice to hear. So to sum up thank goodness there is a true Italian restaurant local to us. Food amazing. Service just as amazing. Ambience lovely did not feel rushed at any point. Prices on the higher end but you pay for what you receive and you receive alot at this restaurant. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

Food was ok but not much variety. The service was poor and to be told during your dessert you had to leave your table as there is a time limit is simply not ok……. Even the people next to us were shocked by the comment. Difficult to take when the bill was £200 for just two of us out celebrating a promotion…..Won’t be returning not recommending to friends and family

I’ve eaten here a couple of times before and it was always ok but nothing special. Decided to book a table for lunch yesterday and was so impressed I had to write a review.The service , ambiance and food were all excellent. Husband ordered the fried courgettes as a side dish and I was dubious to be honest but they were light , crispy and tasty. My slow cooked pork ragu was delicious and husband’s sea bream was really good too. The cheese plate was so generous we couldn’t manage it all. We will make a point of coming here more often after yesterdays great experience.

What did we like? Everything! Fellini's is a wonderful find. Great food, friendly staff and great atmosphere. Classic Italian dishes served with a smile, by our waiter Ludovico, and Eduardo the manager makes you feel at home with his warm greeting. The food is superb and the wine list is great and sensibly priced. We will be back very soon. If you haven't been to Fellini's and you do visit try the Arancini.

Was so looking forward to dinner, ended up waiting 40 minutes to be seated at our table which was fine as we had a drink. Once we were seated we waited another 25 minutes to get a menu. Food was OK, nothing to rave about. Very greasy.If you visit be sure to insist on a table downstairs. We were sat upstairs surrounded by noisy teenagers, totally different atmosphere to what we saw downstairs.Wouldn’t go back or recommend.

Fellini's Dolce vita is by far one of my favourite restaurants in England. The staff are excellent and I now consider them as friends 😀 The food is always sublime and atmosphere is so welcoming. We had the fried courgette to start which was a bit too greasy, and the fig tart- amazing, then shared the tomahawk between two of us which came with two sides and two sauces, it was absolutely delicious! We picked broccoli and rosemary fries. The service was great, drinks were lovely, food was fantastic! Highly recommend.

Went here yesterday for our office Christmas lunch and seated up stairs in an area with lots of plastic plants imbedded into the walls. A strange décor and really not sure what it was meant to represent. Also the seating was slightly odd with tables with narrow tables and lots of cushions. We were a group of 12 apart from a family with two very noisy children whom the parents failed to rain in at all.Onto the food. It was a large group and it is Christmas so expectations are never high. I had meatballs to start, well cooked and served in a tomato sauce. They were served in a vey small copper pot, which accommodated two very small meatballs. My main was a Capriccioso pizza which was cooked okay but lacked any real flavour and certainly not on a par with a certain Italian restaurant in Westcliff of a similar name. I left half of it. I opted for the cheese and biscuits and this was good. A fair selection of cheese served with bread infused with nuts and honey.Overall a distinctly average meal and definitely Décor over Substance. There are better restaurants in the area, perhaps not so glitzy but the food is the real star and for me that is always the most important aspect

First time visiting here last weekend and unfortunately it was a total disappointment. After waiting nearly 40 mins for our table in an over crowded bar area upstairs (definitely NOT covid safe) I went to ask what the wait was, to be physically laughed at by a waiter and told “you only got here 10 mins ago, what do you want me to do kick people off tables?” Honestly I was shocked that that was his response. I understand restaurants get busy on a Saturday night, but a simple apology would have be sufficient. instead he continued to argue with me. I can’t remember the last time (if there ever was one) that a waiter was that rude to me. And I wish I took his name so I could name and shame him, because unfortunately he spoiled the experience. Thank you to the manager who tried to patch things up, but it wasn’t enough I’m afraid. I won’t return again.
