We went celebrate a friends birthday on a Saturday evening. The place was full but service was very efficient. There is a very large menu to choose from but be aware the portions are huge, delicious but huge.

Tasty and plentiful. The food cannot be faulted. The price for a set three course meal is £27.95 and is great value for money. The choice is varied and they also have specials and an a la carte menu.

We had lasagne & spaghetti bolognaise with garlic pizza bread. It was delicious and the portions were large.

I have to take my hat off to the chef and staff who catered for a large group of us last night for my friend's 50th. We had a tight turnaround to be at our next venue within an hour and a half. The staff worked really hard to get our food out which was delicious. Excellent service.

Loved my pasta, not a massive fan of the garlic bread but the desserts are the seller. Massive, reasonable and delicious. Atmosphere really good.

Absolutely horrible food. My coke was flat. The beer was from a can and the coke was served from a 2 little bottle that had the lid open. The whole 2 hrs I was the the lid was off, so no wonder why mine was flat and horrible. The food was cold and no taste or flavours. Within hrs getting home I was throwing up. Clearly not gluten free either as it's made me ill. Would not recommend to anyone.

We were celebrating our son's birthday and visited on a quiet night, hence the slightly lower rating for the atmosphere. We hadn't visited Spaghetti Junction for some years and had forgotten how good the dining experience was! The food and service were great and we hope to return very soon 😀.

We were a table of 25 people, the service was incredible, the food was delicious. There are many options to suit everyone, the portions are large and they were happy to box up our leftovers. It’s really great value for money, I would highly recommend. Thank you to the staff for a lovely evening.

Amazing value for money, you can get a 3 course meal for £23! And the portion sizes are ample. Lovely staff, they were very helpful and surprised us with a birthday ice cream for our birthday girl. Loads of choices on the menu and we enjoyed everything we had. They are also happy to pack up leftover food for you to take home. I'm sure we will be back and my friends have gone here for years. I'm not sure if it says it on the menu, but you can have any pasta dish as a smaller portion as a starter.

Glad we booked place was buzzing! Good atmosphere. Service a little slow to start but understandable as all tables full. Once our drinks came and orders taken all fine. Food was delicious and throughly enjoyed.

This family business treats you as though you are part of their family. Excellent prices and service from people who care about their food and wines. You feel as though you are on holiday as you have time to relax with a bottle of wine whilst your food is being cooked. A must is to make room for a dessert. There is NO SERVICE CHARGE added to your bill you just pay for what you have ordered. We alkways leave a tip as a Thank. Book a table and ENJOY!!

It's gone down hill, but now thinking was it ever good. This may seem harsh but we went, ate, and felt like just getting a job done, no interest or satisfaction. Average, so waste of a evening that we don't get alot off. Shame

Starter was nice.Wife had baked brei and i had stuffed mushrooms with cheese. Maincourse here it went downhill. Steak was dry and over cooked. Steak was So thin i wonder why they ask how i wanted it cooked. Had onion rings on side order , bit into one and nearly sick as it was battered calamari. Called the waitress and she laughed, not saying sorry. Was replaced halfway through meal. but no apology on payment or discount the onion rings.

We have been so many times now and will continue to use this restaurant as the service is very good & attentive, food quality & portion size very generous too and so much to choose from on the wide & varied menu The only possible critique we have with this restaurant is they need to itemise the bill Please, as it’s not always one person paying the whole bill at the end, other than that Fabulous thank you ! So would we come here again, most definitely but does get busy on a Sat eve so book in advance to avoid disappointment, it’s situated on the main “old A13” running through Southend On Sea, easy to find, parking is ok and possible to use public transport if that’s your choice as it’s easy accessible for most. We would though possibly advise against taking younger children as it’s quite small & intimate & probably not a great idea until they are a little older. Service is very good and even a special treat if it’s “your special occasion” Just let the staff know when you arrive. We always find the 3 course set menu fabulous food & quality Thank you & hope this helps you make your choice.

3 plus a wheelchair user made very welcome on a packed Monday early evening. Massive portions - the starters were the size of mains. Beautiful food and friendly service.

I visited this establishment along with a few friends one evening in September. One of my friends along with myself chose squid as our starter. Oh dear- the squid wasn't cooked properly- it was chewy & still milky white-not very nice at all!. I made this remark to one of the waitresses who said it was the first time she had had a complaint about the dish. How ever, apart from that, My mains was spaghetti bolognese which was very tasty and the portion was so big I couldn't finish it. The Ice cream I had for dessert was delicious especially the chocolate one -so yummy. I had a couple of glasses of wine with my meal. The price charged was good value, but there was no offer of reduction in the bill for the under cooked squid , The staff were very pleasant & attentive.

Very nice Italian. Lovely food they have a very big vegan menu. There is lots of choice and well thought out dishes. The staff were very welcoming and a good atmosphere. Happy to have found this place we will be returning.

Have been visiting on and off for many years. Always come away happily full. I understand some of the reviews complaints about the pasta dishes some of them are quantity over quality but we choose carefully and are always pleased with our food. The baked camembert starter is splendid shared between two. Then I really love the trout in almonds with excellent saute potatoes. I always fancy the tiramisu for desert but to be honest that is being a bit of a pig. To wash it down a bottle of house red or white, either one I won't judge you, they pick some decent enough wines, tonight's red was lovely. Four large meals for just over £25 a head. Bargain. We will be back.

The restaurant itself is an unusually decorated place; random but sweet and comforting if not a little crowded. Our servers where lovely, but the food felt phoned in. Something that was suppose to be hearty Italian inspired cuisine had almost zero flavour to it- like it had been thrown together in a rush or was frozen from a batch cook, partly saved by being decently presented. Largely disappointed as we came with high recommendation.

We hadn't visited for ages, but my daughter wanted to eat at Spaghetti Junction over this, her 18th birthday weekend, as she loves pizza! Whenever we go, we always get a friendly welcome and everyone is very helpful. The menu is split into sections with either set prices, or the al a carte menu, and there's a blackboard on the wall with the chef's specials. We chose the 'starter and pizza or pasta' option, but you can also choose the 'main course and dessert ' option. Both these options are just under £16 per person and the portions are huge, so it's excellent value and of course you can still order dessert you want. The starters were delicious and I struggled to finish mine as the portion was so generous....Next time I will leave more room! My daughter and her boyfriend chose different pizzas so they could share...the chicken topping on one was especially impressive, lovely large pieces generously spread over the whole pizza! I chose a pasta dish and you can choose between spaghetti, penne or tagliatelle when you order. None of us had room to finish it all, but the staff offered to pack the leftovers, so we took the remaining pizza home for them to finish later. There's a good drinks menu that includes basic wine such as Liebfraumilch up to more expensive options of red, white and rose, several lagers and soft drinks, I had a pint of lager which was under a fiver which is a good price these days in a restaurant. Altogether, if you are on a budget but still want good quality freshly prepared food, this restaurant is a great choice, and if money is no object, there are lots of wonderful dishes to choose. We've decided to make it a regular treat so we can try the other dishes, I'm looking forward to it!!

Really cute little restaurant! Thankfully they had air con as we visited during the crazy heatwave and it was a welcome to be able to cool down. The service was fab, all of the servers were super friendly. The food was delicious, the only thing I wasn’t as keen on was the Chicken Formaggio I had for my main - it was meant to have a creamy sauce and it was just a mound of melted cheese that was a bit too much after a few mouthfuls. Apart from this it was all lovely!

Food was out off this world, WOW I was with my family and it was my Nephews 16th birthday, we were a group of 9 and they all loved what they had.....the staff were excellent and very polite and friendly So thanks for a brilliant night and we will be back x

Had wonderful Christmas Dinner. Food excellent and service very good as usual. There were eight in my party and they all loved it.

As always, great service, fabulous selection of food and great price. We had table for 4, Friday evening. All went for the 3 course set menu, must have been at least 15 starters and main courses to choose from. Just short of £20 a head can't be bad. Great selection of wines and even the house white (pinot) was good branded selection. Such a great shame week before Christmas that restaurant was practically empty, not alone of course. That said, all staff so upbeat and made our evening special.

Don't be put off by the exterior looking like just any other Café this is a really great restaurant fun atmosphere excellent choice of food which is lovingly cooked an the portions are welcome relief from the usual expensive dishes with not much on the plate! By the way everything is served a with a smile!

I brought the in-laws and husband here along with my infant daughter after not having been here for 18 years since I moved away. It is absolutely as good as I remembered. Huge portions and staff offer doggy bags . Children welcome and they have a smaller portion menu. Loads of savoury food choices from steak, fish and seafood to spaghetti bol. Desserts are mainly ice cream based but there are a lot to choose from. Prices are reasonable.

Amazing, we had our wedding reception here on the 2nd Sept 2021. At very short notice this family run business catered for 43 of us. The food, the service and the price you can not beat. We would like to thank isabel and her staff for a fantastic evening

A wonderful experience never been to this restaurant before, but will definitely return there. The portions of the Starters and Main meal even the desserts where ample. So much to choose from the menu and the desserts are delicious.

We had not been here for many years, but decided to give it a try with our grandchildren, well they chose ! Research first, this showed an extensive menu and two set price ones also. Being part fussy eaters the younger generation chose the pasta staples and although normally big eaters, were beaten on quantity, but approved of the quality. Pork steak with mushroom and mustard sauce was a good choice, if may be a little under done for me. A break for the (included) desserts was required, just as well noting the size of all four. We will definitely be returning, and, the youngsters will be asking us to take them back here.

Went with the family for a meal at this place for the first time ever and it won’t be our last! Service was fantastic, so much flavour in the starters and mains and the desserts........ the desserts were absolutely the cherry on the cake (if you pardon the pun). 100% recommend the Mango Enchantment ice cream.

The food was beautiful, just felt bad that we could not finish it all as the portions were huge. But no one could leave your restaurant hungry. Lovey and friendly too. And very good value. Extensive menu and adapted to fit a variety of budgets. The food, a lot of which can be gluten free, is served hot, is plentiful and just as described in the menu. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The only downside is that the walkways are a little tight when it is busy and therefore access to powder room is restricted and would not recommend if in a wheelchair.

Even though it was nearly empty took ages for less than average expensive tastless pizza/pasta to be served. Have been several times, doubt I'll return.
