Casa Mia in Elmbridge

This is a really fantastic restaurant which we've visited on a number of occasions now. The food is always fabulous - especially the penne alla Adolfo - and Giuseppe is a wonderful host. Can't wait to go back.

Splendid evening at Cas Mia with fantastic atmosphere!! Ray Lowe provided live tribute songs of Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett & Dean Martin, just had to get up and dance. The set menu provided good value for money and a great choice. Thank you for a really memorable evening!!!

Excellent service and delicious food

This is a great "old fashioned" Italian restaurant with a large menu that suits every taste. I had the best liver that I have ever tasted here - thinly sliced and almost melt in the mouth. My friend had the same and her husband had pasta. The green figs were superb and I was told that the tiramisu was excellent as was the lemon cheesecake. They have a good wine menu and my Pinot Grigio Blush was perfect. It is in a lovely location just a few hundred yards from Hampton Court bridge.

Outstanding luncheon - we ate here on Thursday 22nd August, a recommendation from a nearby shop- what a great choice. Service was prompt, friendly and Francesco (manager/owner) was a perfect host. Food was delicious, a very varied menu, and good value for money. We ate 3 courses, and every plate was tempting, well presented and tasted even better. House wine was perfect also. A lovely atmosphere inside, and reasonably full for lunch, I reckon this was a locals secret gem. We would certainly recommend Casa Mia, and will return again when in the area. This lovely Restaurant, situated opposite from where we have lived in East Molesey, Surrey for over 32 years, offers the greatest and best delicious menu in the most comfortable of surroundings. Giuseppe and his hard-working team offer the most marvellous service as well. This is THE place to be particularly for Sunday lunch.

It's a breath of fresh air for this area. It's been a long time since we've had such excellent service and food. Would highly recommend this restaurant

We had a lovely meal and enjoyed the really reasonably priced set menu dinner. Three courses! The highlights however were the starters (pasta portion was massive! See image where my wife skimmed a bit off for me 😁 And white baite was excellent), the main courses were just OK, especially for the price. Desert, the ice cream was also just OK. Would definitely return to try the main a la carte menu 👍 Lovely staff looking after us too.

What a fantastic night with Ray Lowe. Entertainment first class food and service amazing. We all really enjoyed the night. Never had a bad meal here Guiseppi looks after everyone so well and his lovely son was helping too on Friday. A great family run restaurant for lunch or dinner🥳👍

Lovely restaurant. Our food was delicious and well presented. Parking can be an issue if you need to park very close by...but don't let that put you off.

My Wife Pamela and I have lived opposite ‘Cash Mia’ (formerly ‘Vecchio Roma') the ‘sweetest’ and ‘greatest’ Restaurant in the whole area of East Molesey, Surrey, for over 31 (thirty one years). We love meeting ‘delightful’ Owner Giuseppe Borrotzu and his ‘gang’ including ‘Ferrari' and we really enjoy his ’sumptuous ‘ selection of Menus. For Sunday lunch, especially, thIs is THE place to be. We look forward to the joy of crossing Bridge Road to join him yet again today (Sunday, 17/03/2024).

Love this place! Been a local favourite of mine for years, great independent Italian restaurant. Staff are very friendly and the food is always delicious.

Not sure if they changed the chef? Food quality and taste had definitely gone down. Boring set menu and buffet. Lots of regulars, golden oldies visit this place and just sit there and stare! Creepy! This place lacks atmosphere. Outdated decor, bathrooms.

We were treating friends to lunch and they suggested Casa Mia as they had eaten there before and recommended it. Our reservation was for one o’clock and we were there on time. We were seated and our coats were taken - so far so good. The food was excellent throughout the three courses however we felt rushed throughout the entire meal as the waiter was constantly standing a few feet from our table and started clearing the plates etc. before we had finished each course - it constantly made us feeling that we should hurry up and leave ! If the restaurant had been busy it would have been understandable but we were almost the only customers - and we spent over £150 on the food and alcohol ! I’m sad to say that we won’t be returning to Casa Mia which is a pity as the food was delicious.

This is true restaurant dining, which is a real pleasure. In almost 50 years, I've never even had an okay meal, let alone a bad one. Your custom is appreciated and rewarded with great food and service to match. Every guest I've ever taken there loves it too.

It's like going back to the 1980's. Food was ok- it didn't feel that fresh. Nothing amazing- atmosphere inside is a bit odd.

Delicious food, friendly service, have been wanting to dine here for a while but never got round to it and I wish I had visited sooner, authentic food will definitely be returning.

Went with husband enjoyed our food very much. Choose from Al la carte menu (note on their website states sat eve a fixed price menu available) this is incorrect) only week days enjoyed pasta starter,chicken in cream mushrooms asparagus. Lovely sweet. Husband had haddock cheese starter carves liver would recommend nice service too.

This was a spontaneous lunch visit on a lovely sunny day so we opted for one of the outside tables. The service, food and wine were excellent and very good value for money. We live in Molesey and have visited this restaurant for many years and it’s still one of our favorites. Thank you, we will be back.

This was third visit to Casa Mia after a day out at Hampton Court. Food was excellent value. We had the three course meal for £19.95. Pasta starter delicious and followed it by very tender calves liver with tasty veggies. Was really too full for pud but couldn't say no. It was all washed down with a very reasonable rose. Service was friendly and I'd say most diners were regulars from the surrounding area.

Second visit, after a gap of 3 years, on way back from Wimbledon. Very welcoming staff and good to see the same team still in place. The restaurant has a lovely ambiance and several tables of obvious regulars came in during the course of our meal adding to the convivial atmosphere. Food was excellent and can particularly recommend the lasagne and the veal chop in sage. The French beans were beautifully cooked too and the garlic bread is fantastic. We’ll be going again for sure

As usual had a fabulous Sunday lunch. Moules to start best ever very large. Then skate wing in black butter and capers. Very varied menu exc house wine and great service. This is definitely the very best restaurant around. Casa Mia also have an excellent Sunday toast if you want traditional 🥳

Was staying in the area for a few nights and after looking at reviews we decided to try casa Mia, we had a great welcome and our needs we very much taken care of, as we asked to change one of our dishes to suit our taste, this was no problem. Food and service was lovely. My only fault that was after spending nearly £100 for 2 of us there was no offer of a limoncello or other complimentary drink, this was very disappointing and actually stopped me from giving 5*.

Don't order your coffee and dessert at the same time. It's not permitted!!!

Only 4 stars because when i got the first bite of the food it wasnt like "oh my God" or "oh wow" it was good food. But like 4 star good

This is a good option if you want to pop out somewhere local for food one evening. The Tortellini was delicious, starters a little underwhelming (Caprese salad and Prawns).

Good food for a great price. Authentic Italian hidden around the corner of the high street. Chicken liver starter was v good, Tiramisu a bit disappointing.

Myself and partner visited the restuarant as I know it for years but not been there for years. Anyway, the restuarant was clean and nice. However can I say the food did taste satisfactory like home cooked. we chose the set menu and asked for bread with olive oil and basalico. 1. The waiter gave us "french bread stick baguette" cut up which was charged at £2.00. This was completely the wrong bread for it- not sour dough bread which is for this pre starter which is what one should get a shame on this establishment and so cheap! 2. First plate : I ordered the pasta with sausage and tomato which was very good, however my partner has the liver pate' which when brought looked terrible and incredibly poorly presented with 'cheap' sandwich toasted cut bread. No presentation 3. Second plate : Chicken with cream tomato sauce was ok but the vegetables where again poorly presented and just boiled. Lacked complete imagination and presentation 4. The head waiter /owner has dirty trousers on serving customers! 5. Coffee: coffee after meal was poor compared and was not kimbo or lavazza 6. The bill including 2 × set menus, only one large of sparking water, 2 small coffees and bread plus 12.5 % service charge was **£50 for two people** no alcohol or desert 7. Coffee cups were dirty and not washed properly and had been missed Summary Casa mia served us ‘Hospital standard’ cooked food that is satisfactory but lacked imagination in presentation to almost over cooked, non any kind atmosphere, not even italian music was played!! Come on?? Staff presentation was satisfactory and food passable to be edible. Honestly there are better places in east Moseley village to eat for that money and we won't go back there.

Our first visit to this restaurant and from the moment we arrived we felt welcome. The friendly staff and small details like taking your coat and giving you a choice of tables is refreshing. The food was excellent great choice of Pasta and Main dishes perfectly cooked and presented didn’t have a dessert as we often don’t but what we saw being served to other parties looked amazing. Good value for money, the wonderful house wine for £16 a bottle is excellent value and the set menu (although we didn’t have it was very good choice and value) We will Definitely return to this restaurant again very soon.

Big thank you to Giuseppe and team at Casa Mia who helped me celebrate my 60th birthday party on Saturday with a large group of family and friends. It ticked every box excellent food and wine and a couple of minutes from hampton court station. Maggie

Nice place for an Italian meal.

10 of us went for lunch on Saturday to celebrate our 50th anniversary ..good friendly staff. We all enjoyed the three course set meal. I had crayfish starter and veal in wine mushroom sauce plus lemon cheese cake. My husband had calves liver , the pork was also good. Would go again for set menu.

We chose to spend our wedding anniversary at Casa Mia, especially when we found out there would be a Rat Pack tribute act. We had THE best time. Such a great atmosphere. There was singing and dancing as well as fabulous food and service. A special and memorable wedding anniversary. We'll definitely be back.

5 of us had a lovely meal here. Nice round table with white table cloth, lovely cutlery and air conditioning on a baking hot day was very welcome. We went for the set menu and it was great with good portions especially the deserts. Someone had sardines off the specials menu which she said were very nice, House white wine was lovely we had two bottles and coffee to finish. The service was excellent and the bill was £31 per head which was very reasonable for the area. Will definitely come again.

Yes this is old school but all really well cooked and at a very reasonable price backed up by friendly and attentive service. I’ve knocked off a star as first impressions count so they should repair the broken glass that shows the menu at entrance (been like that for ages) and also give out nicer looking menus than the smeared ones we had which look like something from a cross channel ferry. But overall really like this place, thanks for nice evening.

Booked this after reading reviews on Tripadvisor as we live in Scotland and were attending the Hampton Court music festival. What a fantastic find this authentic Italian restaurant was …….from the very start we received a very professional, courteous welcome and shown to a great table with good old fashioned starched white table cloths and napkins. Proper traditional menu with a great selection of food and wine and great value for money. Service was excellent and when the food arrived it was also excellent . Nothing flash or minimalist but a great authentic ,traditional Italian restaurant as it should be.

Fantastic!!! Absolutely amazing. The decor is traditional and some may say a little old fashioned. We all think it’s just authentic. The food was faultless. Fantastic selection on the menu and specials. Catered for vegetarians too. Great atmosphere, friendly staff and great manager/owner and to top it off very reasonably priced. If only we lived nearer it would certainly be a regular haunt for us. We can’t recommend it enough. Thank you casa mia we will certainly be back when in the area.

We had a meal here. The food was very 70s. Classic meat or fish with carrots, potatoes and beans. Food was plentiful and we'll prepared but just lacked a bit of imagination.

Basic Italian joint in Hampton Court village with an 80s vibe to it (in a good way). Good food (apart from the stale bread and week chili oil) - go for the zucchini friti, keen staff, quick service and reasonable price. Will be back again but no rush.

Casa Mia hasn't changed cosmetically from the last time I visited (deco wise). It's bright with lots of well spaced tables. The food was served quickly and was tasty. However, I thought the service was a bit too attentive.

Very attentive staff. Menu varied for meat eaters. A couple of pasta dishes suitable for vegetarians but sadly the pasta dish was quite bland. On a positive note they were happy to provide gluten free pasta.

Nice place, we went in for a snack and a drink. Service was quite slow but pleasant.

Incredible food. Particularly the kids menu - which in other restaurants is often missing or an afterthought. My kids loved the chicken goujons. A good selection of classic desserts with generous portions. I enjoyed my steak; it was perfectly cooked with a delicious side of vegetables.
