The best restaurants serving Italian food in South West

Staff amazing. I visited tonight at 8.00 PM and our server was very kind and courteous. When food was delayed, Tash offered to discount our items then comped our meal.

Great service,lovely meal the chicken liver was so good. Really good portion for a roast dinner!

The spot is an usual for us to grab a coffee as the views are great. Unfortunately the outside cafe was closed so we went to the nearby inside cafe. The two female staff were very unfriendly no manners and looked like they did not want to be there. The drinks were lovely shame they did not dry the seats outside as it was lovely and sunny and we did not want to inside, had to sit on coats. Hopefully the outside cafe is open in the future where the friendly staff seem to be.

Nice atmosphere but the coffee was weak, water and a bit overpriced.

Been to Lucianos (Luccios? Carluccios??) a couple of times in the last year and it's a decent place for Italian. The food has been great, with a decent pizza, fantastic beef ragu, and the best carbonara I've graced my tastebuds with the second time. I cannot stress enough, the food is FANTASTIC. Portions could do with a little more, but what I've got thus far has tasted lovely. Both times I've come in the place has been eerily quiet, so either something's up with my timing or the place is just... quiet? Regardless, the service has been timely, albeit mild-mannered, both times which isn't an issue at all. There is a 12.5% service charge stuck on as a heads-up, which you'll find in tiny text at the bottom of the menu. Not a fan of that trend as a whole, as I'd much rather tip good service and good food where it's due. My only complaints are the pricing (which is *STEEP*, especially for Dorset at £50+ for dinner for two) and the fact they took beef ragu off the menu - it was a fantastic dish and taking it off the menu is a crime against humanity. Bring it back! Either way, Luciano's food is fantastic, on the proviso that you aren't the person paying for it... But I don't know if that says more about myself or the restaurant. If the staff were a bit chattier and the British economy wasn't doing an impression of the Titanic (or things were a bit cheaper), I'd give five stars.

Allows you to book online but they’re closed You receive a booking confirmation email so you’re falsely led to believe that everything is ok, until you arrive to locked doors., lights off, and disappointment. McDonald’s to the rescue.

We went to celebrate my son’s birthday, the restaurant was full and the waiting staff were run off their feet! But that did not stop Susana from being extremely attentive and helpful. The food was hot and delicious, it was a fantastic meal. 10/10

The lateness not too much of a problem, but the pizza was stone cold, with excessively floppy/undercooked base, greasy, and not at all crispy apart from the heavily blackened edges.

A lovely spot right on the beach. The terrace was lovely a a great spot for a drink and an ice cream. The staff were friendly and the prices were reasonable too considering the location. I’ll definitely be back when next in Bournemouth.

Sergios is one of my very favourite restaurants in Bristol, it's a bit pricey for more so I save my visits for special occasions, but every visit has been wonderful. The staff are always welcoming and helpful. The food is incredible, with quite a few vegan options too.

Totally disappointed with the service👎. The staff member was disrespectful. Ice creams were delicious but the iced coffee was disgusting. We had a group of 10 and all were extremely unsatisfied with her reactions.

We came here for an evening out with colleagues. A brief breakdown: - service was slow and it did take quite a while for the food to come out - the place itself was really quite something and atmosphere very very nice - service was slow and the time taken between ordering drinks, and ordering food was slow. - we were charged a service charge for what was slow service, and then made to feel it was wholly inappropriate when we asked for service to be removed. A lovely experience let down by service which could have been much much better. My dinner was nice. A solid 6/10 however my starter was an absolute 10/10.
