The best restaurants serving Italian food in South West

The spot is an usual for us to grab a coffee as the views are great. Unfortunately the outside cafe was closed so we went to the nearby inside cafe. The two female staff were very unfriendly no manners and looked like they did not want to be there. The drinks were lovely shame they did not dry the seats outside as it was lovely and sunny and we did not want to inside, had to sit on coats. Hopefully the outside cafe is open in the future where the friendly staff seem to be.

Excelente comida y un menú amplio, un servicio de vergüenza era tan lento! Reservamos una mesa y tuvimos que esperar a la llegada para que se despejara, tardó mucho en ser servido para pedir pero cuando finalmente lo hicimos, la comida salió rápido de la cocina.

Been to Lucianos (Luccios? Carluccios??) a couple of times in the last year and it's a decent place for Italian. The food has been great, with a decent pizza, fantastic beef ragu, and the best carbonara I've graced my tastebuds with the second time. I cannot stress enough, the food is FANTASTIC. Portions could do with a little more, but what I've got thus far has tasted lovely. Both times I've come in the place has been eerily quiet, so either something's up with my timing or the place is just... quiet? Regardless, the service has been timely, albeit mild-mannered, both times which isn't an issue at all. There is a 12.5% service charge stuck on as a heads-up, which you'll find in tiny text at the bottom of the menu. Not a fan of that trend as a whole, as I'd much rather tip good service and good food where it's due. My only complaints are the pricing (which is *STEEP*, especially for Dorset at £50+ for dinner for two) and the fact they took beef ragu off the menu - it was a fantastic dish and taking it off the menu is a crime against humanity. Bring it back! Either way, Luciano's food is fantastic, on the proviso that you aren't the person paying for it... But I don't know if that says more about myself or the restaurant. If the staff were a bit chattier and the British economy wasn't doing an impression of the Titanic (or things were a bit cheaper), I'd give five stars.

If you're ever in weymouth then visit prezzos Clean, food fab, lovely atmosphere and wonderful staff.

Popped in here for lunch. Got seated outside, shady side, which was fine. Food, drink and service was all good and prices not awful given it's a tourist trap. Great little play area or the back for kids if you have them.

visited here yesterday (27/1/2025) as an impromptu dinner with my best friend… it was lovely!!! food was incredible and sergio made us feel incredibly welcome, the seafood was DELICIOUS and so was there spaghetti bolognaise… decor was so sweet and really wholesome, we got chatting to sergio and he told us all about his family, just a brilliant man to talk to in experience… we will absolutely be returning!!

I ordered a medium pizza at £7.99 got charged £10.99 I was expecting better not very good never go there again

Allows you to book online but they’re closed You receive a booking confirmation email so you’re falsely led to believe that everything is ok, until you arrive to locked doors., lights off, and disappointment. McDonald’s to the rescue.

I have to say that this is only the second time that we have visited this restaurant as we don't live in Bristol. We were greeted and shown to our table within 10 minutes, we were a little early. The food was wonderful my wife had veal and I had chicken. Desserts were gorgeous and wine really good too. We finnished with two lenoncellos toround off a great meal. Staff were all friendly and checked if our food was ok. Atmosphere was really good busy and lively. Yes it's not cheap but we felt it was a really worthwhile and enjoyable. Couldn't fault anything and a big thank you to everyone there

Quite possibly the worst breakfast I have ever had. Ordered the Traditional Breakfast and safe to say it was a mistake. Even 6 years in the armed forces, 4 years in the Middle East and 4 years in the Indian ocean couldn’t prepare my intestines for the awful excuse for “food”. Don’t waste your time, money or toilet paper. Try the bins in the car park instead!
