Jolly Hangman Tavern in Cornwall, Isles of Scilly

Ordered simple order Expected to pay up front Pasty, salad and chips Salad delivered no salad no chips! Had to request a refund for the missing items

Weird - the resturant was neatly empty and I asked for a table . The waiter made a weird joke about “it all being fully booked” . Which wasn’t funny just annoying as we were hungry . The food is very overpriced and you don’t get any decent sides with it. They had no cake st 1pm on a weekday , the food was average at best and not worth the price . We drove s little way to a nearby village and had a much better meal later on for half the price.

OMG although the menu is limited the food was amazing. Great service and price. 2 had the ploughman's and 2 had the pie Our server was very friendly and super efficient. Only downside they don't offer starters or desserts , which is a shame as hubby lives a starter and I love a dessert....be great to add a few to the menu

We went to this restaurant as we were staying in the hotel. The only option was a 3 course meal for £50pp the food was below par and very very small. We saw one couple walk out and another complain of portion size. We came here a year ago and there was a normal menu but this was very disappointing. Will not visit again.

Menu very limited and not the choices it had before. No chips or burgers or sandwiches. We were the only ones in there and we watched at least 10 people come in and walk out because of the menu. One of the team told a person it’s the owner’s decision and what he wants he gets. Obviously wants to run at a loss.
