We would TOTALLY agree with the One review. A gem of a find. It has been a very long time since we have enjoyed such finger-licking (yes, we had the tiger prawns; exceptional, as were the samosas!) unpretentious, tasty, expertly prepared, top quality food, for a very reasonable price. All freshly prepared, as we waited. Met with a warm welcome, with an abundance of enthusiasm to check we were enjoying our flavoursome Portuguese fayre. Our taste buds had a full workout! Our hosts are rightfully proud of their mama’s culinary skills and the evident love and care she lavishes on her creations. The menu is simple, but powerful. We will definitely be back for more. Forty5 is hidden away in the outskirts of Cheltenham but by far the best restaurant I have eaten in. The food was perfection, cooked by the very talented Gareth who came to talk us through his menu. The restaurant is in peaceful surroundings, and was lovely and quiet, for those of us who like to chat while we eat. Cocktails in the bar beforehand were also delightful. Highly recommended!

I love it here. Ian and Theresa always make you feel very welcome, and I beleive pets are welcome, too. If you've not been here yet, shame on you, you don't know what you're missing. You will want to come back again and again. Enjoy !

Absolutely outstanding fish and chips! Crispy yet fluffy chips cooked to perfection, beautiful fresh fish with the lightest batter. We also had pineapple fritters, which were the best we've ever tasted. We found Charlie's by chance after reading a blog recommendation as a last-minute dinner, we were so impressed we went back again on our holiday. Huge thank you to the staff for being so kind and friendly. You are really great ambassadors for Truro and your business.

The best burger I have eaten, all the smash burgers and chicken burger were delicious, seasoned and served with a smile. What a view as well, a visit here can’t be missed!

Very quaint and quirky cafe with a lovely atmosphere. We had the most amazing afternoon tea, simply delicious 😋 the staff are very friendly and engaging. Don't worry if you can't manage it all, as you get a dinky box to take home everything you can't manage. Thank you for a super afternoon! Loved it 💖

Lovely independent family bakery right on the marina. Lots of varieties of bread in different shapes, flours and methodology. Plus flavoured baked items whether chocolate, fruit or cinnamon and the like. Eggs and coffee available too. Super friendly and a great example of the variety of high quality independent businesses in Torbay if you look beyond the mundane national chains. Chapeau! Update: now relocated (again). The baking continues to impress. Loving the croissant both normal and almond. And now offering patisserie from another local independent in Paignton.

Although it was empty for a Saturday night (strange) the decor was very youthful with a very fresh vibe. The staff were very friendly and couldn’t do enough. They had a large range of sharing plates, pizzas and drinks! Having ordered the pizzas they arrived so quickly and oh my word they were to die for!! The other half said it was the best pizza he’s ever had! (Hot and spicy) - he’s not easy to please! If we’re ever visiting Bodmin again we will be back!

Lovely coffee, great place to catch up! It's the first time coming here but can definitely recommend it, especially the chocolate!

My mum is a regular customer here and the food, service and atmosphere is exceptional. She booked the café for her 90th birthday get together with a group of friends. Her description of what an absolutely incredible time she had has made my heart sing! Ashley, the owner, went all out to make this an occasion to remember. Unfortunately none of the elderly ladies took photos but the room was decorated with a banner and balloons, the food selection and quality was fabulous.. mum could not believe the effort that Ashley went to; he even presented her with a cake.. that she took home as all were too full to eat it. Thank you so much for making this such a joyous occasion for mum. We have a massive family get together next weekend, we're going to have to make it special to compete! Eek!

I've been to several award- winning fish and chip shops and this is better than any of them.... The cod and chips was perfectly cooked, service was friendly and efficient and prices are excellent value. Strongly recommended. Thank you both.

Wild bake wood fire pizzas are delicious this s the 2nd year we have tried them they are just as good each time we all try there specials which are very exciting service is really good place your order and you get a time slot and then just pick up perfect 😀👍

The portion size has dramatically reduced and the price has gone up which is a shame. It's fast becoming a luxury
