Prezzo - Weymouth in Weymouth and Portland

Good service and good food/drink. Quite pricey for a pizza/pasta dinner. Decided to book for an early dinner but really didn’t need to as it was fairly empty when we arrived. They did move some tables around for large parties arriving after we’d departed.

We had a problem with the bill on our last visit so had a discount voucher. The lovely lady who sorted out the last problem remembered us and Carlos the Manager was also very helpful. The food was really good and we love this place so will definitely be going back. Sorry I can’t remember the lady’s name but she had blonde hair in a ponytail and I remember her saying she was from Poland. She was also great with other people there. Give this woman a pay rise!

Food was cooked to prefection. The staff are lovely, especially Milena lovely waitress. Thank you from us both x

Even on a busy Saturday night, the service was great, my table of 15 were very happy with everything. The staff were brilliant, very understanding and accommodating to our needs. The food was delicious, the menu had plenty to choose from, we’ll definitely be back! Thanks for a great evening!

So Me and the Mrs popped in for a reservation as we are currently staying in Weymouth, wasn't very busy at all and the atmosphere was decent but basing our experience as a whole is the reason for 3 stars... We went ahead and ordered drinks which I was shocked by when I looked at the bill and saw that 300ml came to £4.20! On the website it states that it's typically between £30-£40 for a meal. The starter (which made us ferrocisly ill the next day) and two mains with two drinks to came to £75 which is just ridiculous. If you're posh and you've got loads of money then go ahead if you are a regular old joe then I would say to avoid at all costs. Food really was not worth £17 per meal... Safe to say we were very disappointed.

We came here for a business meal today and everything was amazing. Our waitress Marzena was really accommodating and made us fell at home.

Quiet lunchtime in March. Had Chicken, bacon and avocado salad and Sea bass. Good service.

DIsappointing, PIZZA magaretta was like rubber with minimal topping. Salad was lovely. Would not normally use this chain and luckily had tesco vouchers to soften the blow.

Went as a family group of 12 to celebrate a birthday. Waitress was very friendly but we found the delays between courses exceptionally long especially when we had small children getting bored. Children's meal did not include a drink (£2 for a fruit shoot) and drinks generally were expensive. The food when it did come was very good. Will not be rushing back soon.

Food was OK. Waitress was pleasant but we felt rushed. It wasn't only us, staff were coming to tables, including ours before were had finished our starters saying that our mains were ready, we were still eating. We were asked did we want our mains brought our while we were still eating our starters.Staff were embarrassed but I feel that they had been told to rush costumers. Not a good experience tonight, we have always enjoyed Prezzo before

Went yesterday with a friend. We had a voucher for 2 for 1 main courses, so our mains cost about £8 each. There quite good. We ordered a glass of prosecco each. The glass was barely half full . When the bill came, it was £ 8 a glass, so basically £16 for a 125ml glass. We should have complained at the time but were too busy talking.

Despite being busy and understaffed, the whole team were amazing! Thankyou Shannon who looked after us, the young man whizzing around, the girl with two shades of hair and the manager! You clearly pulled together this evening as a team and we enjoyed our meal!

Lovely welcome from friendly staff. These guys were attentive and warm really made us feel welcome. We were served promptly. The good all came out hot well presented and tssty. The hummus and flatbread were the nicest we have had. They then were kind enough to bring out our daughters birthday cake and sing happy birthday with us. They provided plates napkins and cutlery for our cake. The lady that took the payment handled out tesco vouchers efficiently and with out any fuss. Some places will be less friendly when you attempt to use them. Thankyou all for an enjoyable evening and exceptional service.xxx

The guy who served was probably one of the best waiters we have ever been served by so efficient so pleasant lovely nature if he hadnt have been working would have asked him to join us for a glass at least, the food was fabulous I had crab and lobster ravioli in a lobster bisque sauce hubby had calamari and bloody loved it we will definately be back so good thank you x

4 people for lunch, mains and a nice bottle of wine, other drinks and coffee, £175 inc service. I was very pleased with the gluten free pasta option, very nice indeed. Our waitress was very good, lovely girl and very helpful. The other 3 all enjoyed the food. Nice views, plenty of space, a little quiet when we were there. Good experience

Lovely restaurant, the food, service and wine were all excellent. Good menu choices and lovely fresh feel to the restaurant. Would definitely recommend this place.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful the food was some of the best I've ever had, the spaghetti carbonara was delicious and I'll be sure to come back and try some more of their many other options.

Took them up on their 2for1 offer, didn't book but they found us a table (for 2). Pretty busy but the staff were very good, food arrived after about 15 minutes and piping hot. A very pleasant evening. Vegetarian, children, wheelchair all catered for. Council car park, free after 6pm, is about 5 minutes walk along the harbour.

Called in for a meal and drinks, the place was quiet, seated straight away, staff were polite and friendly, the food was great, would recommend this restaurant 👍

In my opinion Prezzo is one of the top three restaurants in Weymouth, give them a go I'm sure you'll enjoy their Italian meals.

Well… it was ok but not as good as we had hoped. My main course choice wasn’t available , garlic mozzarella bread came without cheese, our dessert choice not available , our bill couldn’t be split apparently ( although I did ask on ordering and not at the end of the meal)…and they couldn’t accept cash … 🤷‍♀️ Too many negatives

A fantastic meal, served by friendly staff. Perfect for families and couples. Something on the menu for everyone, irrespective of any allergies or dietary requirements.

The setting overlooks the harbour and is in a very good position. We were having difficulty finding anywhere open that provided more than one choice of a vegetarian food needed for one of our group so ended up eating here and we were glad we did. We were having a late lunch and the restaurant was very quiet. The service was excellent as was our meals.

Family meal with 4 grandchildren. Very impressed with the service. Our waitress, Ella, was absolutely on the ball…attentive, polite, efficient and yet we didn’t feel rushed. Watched her on other tables and she was right up there with top service and a smile for all. Nothing too much trouble. A staff member worth her weight….look after her Prezzo.!! The food was very good and served well and our lobster ravioli was delicious. The children ate everything. All most enjoyable. Thank you for a nice evening out. My one criticism was that you do not take cash payments and this is very short sighted. You should take and encourage the use of cash. People like choice and for you to not take cash will definitely stop me from coming again. By only taking card payments, you are shooting yourself in the foot for the future, when Bank charges for your transactions will be more and out of your control. Careful what you wish for. Please take cash, as I would like to visit again.

The pizza we had was pretty mid, supermarket quality if I'm being honest, does not justify the above market prices they are charging. Service was pretty terrible. There was one poor guy trying to do the jobs of 4 people while all the other staff faffed around at the back of the establishment. The fact we had to wait over 20 mins to pay after being presented with the bill says it all. (The staff were not busy they were all in a circle at the back chatting amongst them themselves)

As the title suggest, really great quality food but very slow service indeed. Tres Gusti pizza, calzone, lasagna along with the kids pizza were all quality food which you cannot fault but the really slow service will let this place down. We had to ask twice how long the mains will be and then we had to chase up puddings. Great location and good food but the service is that bad that people may not return.

Food not up to Prezzo standards. What I wanted wasn't available. The sea bass was over cooked. However I didn't complain. Came to pay and gave them cash. Coin of the realm wasn't accepted, we had missed a sign outside saying cashless. I didn't have debit cards with me. My wife did. So one wonders what would have happened if we couldn't have paid cashless. Prezzo will never get business from us again; no wonder they are closing restaurants.

Service awful Waited an hour to be told the server hadn’t put our food through. Won’t be visiting there again

29/08/23 7pm-10pm Quite disappointed, the food came out from the kitchen to our table of 10 one plate at a time I’m assuming as that was due to the kitchen not being ready, not the servers fault as only one plate on the pass with time in between each one. One meal short also that can be forgiven it’s not the end of the world, but not great as we wanted to eat together not have one person waiting and then eating alone. Server said she would sort something out for the missing meal, we assumed possibly having that meal cost removed? Once again not servers fault assuming kitchens mistake? When asking to pay we queried what was being done about the bill for the missing meal? Asked are we paying the service charge or are we paying for the missing late meal? The young manager on told us we have to leave a tip in cash or pay the service charge as it’s not their fault if the kitchen made a mistake! As a manager yes it is your responsibility to be on top of the kitchen’s service actually and to take responsibility for correcting the issue to customers satisfaction. But instead the manager was very hostile, argumentative to my queries and walked away shaking her head… this I found quite disrespectful and very unprofessional? I then heard this manager complaining about us at the till so I approached and asked her if she thought her attitude towards us was professional and necessary? Manager denying her actions once again being very hostile in her time of voice with a terrible attitude…although she had seen I had arrived at the till to witness her being rude about us. At this point I realised there was no professionalism from her at all and I decided to just walk away from it, the manage then unbelievably pulled a face to my back pushing her tongue into her bottom lip like a child would do to another child and screwed her face up! This was witnessed by our entire table. Could this be any more unreal? Shocking, never again.

Visited on a Monday night, I recommend booking a table as the restaurant did fill up quick. Service was fast and the waitresses were friendly. The Strawberry Lemonade was absolutely gorgeous!! I definitely recommend! Both the Garlic Bread and Spaghetti Carbonara were delicious. The only thing I would say is that the main courses arrived whilst we were still eating our starters, we would have perhaps liked some time in between. Overall, we had a lovely meal!

Absolutely fantastic. We arrived at Prezzo after our booking elsewhere had been messed up leaving us hungry and tired in an unfamiliar town. The manager, after hearing our tale of woe, rearranged their "schedule" of tables and bookings to squeeze us in. I've not been to a Prezzo in years, but it was certainly far better than I remember. The sharing starter of a garlic bread with red onions and balsamic was perfect. The rigatoni arrabiatta had a nice kick, the spaghetti bolognese was a hit with a 13yo who has high pasta standards, and the chicken salad went down very well. The portions were tasty and generous enough that none of us could even consider a dessert. The Poretti lager is a new favourite that I've not come across previously and will be looking out for in the future. Service was exceptional. Our waitress seemed to have a radar 6th sense, and I could see her dashing across the restaurant with a replacement fork for a dropped one at another table, getting there almost before it hit the floor - she was something special.

If there was a zero I would have used that ! Can't rate food as did not get a chance to eat as the service from a call made regards to Tesco Reward vouchers was so poor we didn't get a chance ! Just glad we checked before wasting our time travelling to find out from a rude abrupt person who answered the phone that Weymouth dont accept Reward Vouchers ? Think they have made a local decision as not on the Terms ! When checking with Tesco they should be accepting Tesco reward vouchers ! so would advice checking before wasting time going there ! 🤔

My experience at Prezzo was underwhelming. The service was slow, and the prices didn't match the quality of the food. On top of that, our drinks took forever to arrive and were added to the bill even after we returned them. Overall, it's safe to say I won't be returning anytime soon.

Way too expensive, no need to charge £7 for one Doombar or £20 for pasta. Rip off

No longer accepting tesco vouchers. We specifically ordered tesco vouchers to use here. At the time, Weymouth was not included on the exclusion list, but now it is. Everyone was really disappointed.

My first time in Prezzo, what can I say great food and friendly staff. The Tre Gusti Pizza is awesome

On holiday in Weymouth and booked a family meal in prezzo. Food was OK, service not so great, seemed very disorganised and had to wait over 20 minutes to have our order taken. Biggest shock was seeing a small bottle of red berry cider charged at over £7!!! How do they justify this!? Absolute rip off!

Food is really good, but service is terrible. Forgotten orders, slow, need to keep reminding the staff that we are still here. I would rather go somewhere else than battle to get an order.

Unfortunately the service was poor. Almost an hour to get starters and then with no cutlery. Staff explained they were short of waiters and chefs. Despite this bookings were taken therefore the Restaurant was busy with some customers sitting at uncleared tables! Further more we weren’t given any information on our arrival re delays & timing to assist our decision making. Can’t blame staff but the responsibility sits firmly with the manager and senior managers who have failed to handle the situation .

Prezzo Weymouth have stopped accepting Tesco club card vouchers. We had saved these this year for a birthday meal whilst on holiday as we have done many times before but saw a sign on the door when attending our booking. Staff confirmed that terms and conditions have recently changed. We ate elsewhere but put a real downer on my birthday plans. Prezzo was empty so no need to book anymore despite it being peak season, unlike last year when we booked and still queued. Sad to see the end of the partnership and angry as we did check the terms and conditions when exchanging the vouchers, with Weymouth not listed as an exception at the time and vouchers showing as valid to June 2024, hopefully Tesco will refund to our account.

My daughter is dairy intolerant, so we were drawn by the vegan pizza. The location is pretty good with windows overlooking the marina, but the place is tired, with the seat detached from the toilet, and 2 of the waitresses unable to hide their dislike of the job, one getting our order of 2 drinks wrong, they managed to walk around avoiding eye contact with diners. The kid's garlic bread and pizza were just ok, a banana on a plate for dessert raised a laugh. At a little over £15, the chicken Caesar salad was starter sized and below average, not even up to supermarket quality, drinks overpriced, all in all an underwhelming experience, not to be repeated.

Excellent friendly attentive staff!! Food delicious. Catered for all requests and requirements. Food served quickly. Price very reasonable. We had a wonderful experience and stayed all night. Highly recommend!

Last minute decision to go here for lunch, but it wasn't busy and we had a lovely table by the window overlooking the harbour. Service was good and well timed. Great kids menu - £7.50 for three courses and a drink, good portion sizes. We had pizzas and they were nice. Used 25% off meerkat meals offer. Would definitely eat here again.

A fantastic Prezzo restaurant located in a lovely location in Weymouth. It was extremely busy and the restaurant appeared to be understaffed. Staff did an excellent job given how busy they were. Food was good and I would visit again.

My family and I (10 adults and two children) visited this Prezzo in Weymouth last year and again this year. The food was excellent, the service was brilliant, all in all a very enjoyable night out.

Been many times to prezzo in weymouth but this was the last one.we had the 2 smallest bolgnaise ever , garlic bread was so small , side order of vegetables was only peas and broccoli , we're was the green beans?...not only have the prices gone up , the meals have shrunk..lived prezzo for many years but will not be returning..

We decided we wanted pizza before we went to the theatre. On arrival we weren't sure if we were to just sit or wait to be seated as it took a while for someone to come to us, the restaurant was not busy. We ordered...

Such a disappointment. Following a fantastic lunch visit I suggested it to a group of friends for a Friday night visit. We waited over 20 mins for a drink on arrival and the food review was somewhat of a mixed bag. Any of us that had grilled chicken found it to be overdone, dry and tough to eat. Fries were also overdone. It was quite a wait for food and difficult to catch anyone's attention for further drinks. It was a busy night but there were a number of staff visible so I was surprised they were not more attentive. I am a strong believer in leaving a tip in recognition of good service but on this occasion not one of the group felt it warranted. If you want the best of Prezzo's I would recommend avoiding busy periods.

Worth going if you enjoy Italian food bit pricey though for what it is . Great service friendly staff

Booked a large table as there were a lot of us for a double birthday celebration, all our orders were pre-ordered to save hassle. Staff were great, very pleasant, friendly and welcoming but we had to remind them a couple of times chasing up parmesan...

We couldn’t fault the staff. Excellent customer service but Prezzo have priced themselves out of my custom now. 3 average mains, 1 pudding to share, bottle of house wine… £110! Sorry Prezzo, it’s been great over the years but that’s that’s me done at those...

Although the restaurant was half empty and there was one an half hour to the closing time, they didn’t accept us to dine. Terrible customer service and management!

02 deal £7:50 lunch is about right. Pizza should be about that price and it's funny to see it's £18:25 normally. Service was great. Friendly chatty and helpful Good lunch spot.

the food was alright. we waited 45 minutes for the bill to arrive, and asked 3 different waiters. one of the waiters had walked out which they apologised for. the food was being left on the ‘hot plate’ for 20 minutes until it got handed...

I would have love to dine in the place but I was told that the restaurant was fully booked as we walked in. I looked at the reservation website and there was many tables slot available for us to dine if a booking was necessary to get in why was not told to make a booking. My partner was really upset about the situation as it felt that we were refused due to our diversity rather than paying customers. I am disappointed about the whole experience as I would have love tasting the food from a such well known restaurant.

The food here was absolutely superb. Great range of cocktails but slightly on the steep side price wise however its totally worth it if your wanting to treat yourself. The lady that served us was extremely helpful. The place itself was beautifully decorated with a great atmosphere. It was heaving with customers which is obviously is a very positive sign regarding the quality of the restaurant. Thank you very much to all the staff at prezzo 😊

Less than 1 star. Definitely involved in a Justeat scam. Avoid, singularly unhelpful. Ordered twice, no show either time.

The Coeliac Blogger: One of the best restaurants in Weymouth and a fantastic selection of gluten free food. I have a GF pizza and was delicious with a thin crust which is my favourite. A separate gluten free menu with a really wide selection to choose from, non of this allergy folder being thrown at you in some outdated approach to gluten. Very reasonably priced and friendly service. I go to many restaurants in the UK and see what they really have to offer, especially for Coeliac's like myself and compare the options available and always leave reviews based on my experience. Prezzo's has helpful & Friendly staff! 10/10 all-round ~ Highly recommend!

The tomato sauce and mozarella on my pizza were so watery that they had slid down off the pizza, onto the plate, where it sat like a soup. On top of that, the waittress simply continued her conversation with another waittress for several minutes after the cook had rang the bell to indicate my pizza was done. It just sat there on the counter while they kept chatting until I called over and asked if I could have my food. Mind, it was 3pm and the place was empty apart from 1 couple who were eating. When I then saw the state of my pizza, I got up and left. I've never done that before in a restaurant, but this was awful service and food.

Best beef burger and fries I ever had

Sat in prezzo, have just had a really lovely meal... The staff were absolutely rushed off their feet but this did not affect service at all... Everything was served with a smile and constant check ins to see that we were OK... Good job to all staff members.. All to often people jump to trip advisor for negativity... But this is definately an all positive frome me 😁

We went with family and had two young children with us, and were looked after and treated very well. The staff were fantastic - so friendly and efficient, and the food was excellent, and it was a nice buzzy atmosphere. Will definitely return.

Had a great valentines 3 course meal with friends! Mike who served us throughout was fantastic, attentive, friendly and funny, he definitely got our sense of humour and made our night so much better ! The food is overpriced for what you get. 2 drinks, 2 starters and 2 mains will cost you n about £70. The food was just ok. When I go to a restaurant I want food that I can't make at home, but I can make better tomato sauce and use more flavourful cheese than what Prezzo serves. I had dinner here in February 2023 and this will be the last time I go here. The pumpkin, sage and cheese filled ravioli had zero pumpkin and sage. It was just filled with dry cheese. The truffle macaroni and cheese tasted like chemicals. I recently had a Ginsters mac and cheese filled pasty that was better than the £16.50 mac and cheese here. The staff were very nice. They were friendly and efficient :-)

Service was really rushed like they didn't want anyone else in there. Also food was average at best. Prezzo used to be a lot more reliable than this. Now hit and miss
