The best restaurants serving Italian food in North West

Always excellent here, never lets us down

Staying in Marple for a wedding and discovered this little gem buzzing on a Friday night. we were offered a table n the rear of the restaurant and couldn’t but notice it was full of older clientele clearly locals. Our meal was delicious partly enjoyed the swordfish ravioli and of course tiramisu. If local I’d be back but it’s quite a drive from Hampshire . Excellent service

I have been here a couple of times with my family. We would visit more but the prices are a little hight, however the food is fantastic. The staff made us feel welcome and were very friendly. My son enjoyed watching his pizza being made in the main room and what he didn't manage to eat was placed in a box for him to take home. I had a stake with mash potatoes, my stake was cooked perfectly however there were a lot of lumps in the mash potatoes but they still tasted really good. When we went again I got stake and chips and I enjoyed every mouthful. There is a small play area outside but it could do with a little TLC. We will definitely revisit this restaurant and I would recommend it to anyone.

Went with my 2 daughters as 1 fancied pasta on our weekly daddy daughters time. First impressions as we walked in was its very clean then we spoke to the chap at the bar area and was shown to our table (we hadn't reserved 1) so far staff was friendly. Cutlery on the table was spotless table was clean with a menu on each of the place settings. Our waiter came across took our drinks orders then our food orders. The food and drinks arrived in a very timely. manner. We had ordered 2 spaghetti carbanara and 1 pizza trust me people when I say the food was absolutely delicious the chef should give himself a big pat on the back. Our server/waiter was excellent very friendly. We really enjoyed our visit and will definitely go back again (sorry I couldn't leave a tip I was down to my last pennies but next visit I will leave a tip). If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would.

The pizza is fine. They put ham in a vegetarian pasta. However they were apologetic and happy to remake it. A little bit on the pricey side for a takeaway.

Went tonight on a Friday. Waited an hour and a half for food. Was told by numerous lovely staff that they are sorry for the wait. After the third time of asking the manager told me I don’t know what’s it’s like working in the food sector and he said “what do you want me to do?”. Serve us our food please! We were not made aware of this during our time at the restaurant until we asked to leave.

Fabulous surroundings Fabulous food Fabulous staff .. need i say more. From walking in to walking our the whole experience was amazing.. why have I never been before????

No como esperábamos... en primer lugar para un sábado por la noche esperábamos que el lugar estuviera ocupado pero tenían una balsa de mesas vacías, cuando nos acomodaron a nuestra mesa nos dieron los menús. Otra alarma sonó ya que tenían tantos platos para elegir. Nunca una buena señal Optamos por compartir un pan de ajo y tomate. Era insípido, sin ajo, una capa extremadamente delgada de puré de tomate y poco cocido. La mitad se remonta. Plato principal - optó por un favorito italiano aparentemente - Spaghetti Bolognese. Promedio en el mejor de los casos. Sin condimento, espaguetis al lado del denti, de nuevo la mayor parte quedó. El restaurante necesita un cambio completo. Pierde el 80 % de los platos para que tu chef pueda concentrarse en un menú más pequeño y apetitoso. Decoración muy anticuada, mesas a las que se adhieren sus brazos, demasiado personal de menú para tan pocos clientes. No volveremos a visitar. Decepcionado.

Made to feel welcome drone the moment we set foot through the door. Very attentive and friendly. Children’s meals are a smaller version of the main menu . Which makes a pleasant change .

The garlic bread was ok. The two mains were inedible and not eaten. We think the cream used on the risotto and carbonara was off. Absolutely tasteless and minging. Probably the worst meal we have had in a restaurant. Not a good way to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. Seriously wish we had gone elsewhere!!! Never again.

Stay near by when here for work and have to be honest the food is always lovely. Service is also great as well. Defo go back.

On arrival we were shown to our table. A server came to take our order. It all arrived at the same time, starters and mains, which was strange to me? Through out our whole time sat there, not one server came over to ask wether our food was ok or if we needed more drinks etc? The food itself wasn't great, The chicken served looked an tasted horrible, chips were tasteless, coleslaw was just shredded veg and salad was poor. They may have had a busy day with it being Mothers day but that's no excuse for poor service!! We went after 5pm an it wasn't overly busy? I certainly won't be going back and won't be recommending it to anyone!!
