I went in for the Takeout, the staff messed up the whole order being vegetarian they weren’t sensitive about it. If you’re a vegetarian you should never go to this restaurant for sure definitely.

The Mushrooms were swimming in grease, badly overcooked. The Red Pesto and Aubergine was tasteless. Aubergine was overcooked and soggy with the most awful Pesto pasta. Pesto is supposed to be vibrant and Fragrant this was everything but. The poor waitress didn't even know the dishes she was serving, asking us if we knew what they were. Really poor, never again, Avoid is my Advice 😱😱😱

Not that great considering this is a proper restaurant, carbonara was mostly spaghetti and not much meat, and for the price I expected it to be much better, iv actually made better at home, very disappointed if I’m honest

Food was nice but the the rigatoni pollo was shy of chicken, the linguine with king prawns had 6 king prawns, which was just enough. Portion size was adequate. Service was not as good as it should be. Ordered diet coke, no ice, diet coke with ice came out. Asked to see desert menu, got the menu du.ped on the table no one ever came back to take an order. Black amerucano coffee was nothing special. Overall the atmosphere was interesting the background music went from loud to quiet to overbearing.

As ladies that lunch weekly we were delighted to find an actual restaurant open at lunchtime rather than having to eat at pubs that serve food. What a pleasurable experience eating there was. The menu was both varied and extensive. Any pasta or pizza at £6 95 at lunchtime was amazing value. The staff were so friendly and the food and service superb. The decor was bright, light and full of Italian touches even including the background music. The only downside to this terrific venue is a lack of nearby parking. We will be back to work our way through the menu. A jewel of a restaurant!

Had an impromptu lunch for 10 teenagers - was the only restaurant in the area after Laser Tag - everywhere else is takeaway only so we had no choice but to book here I’m so glad we did, the food was lovely and the staff were brilliant - the party was so much fun. We recently made our second visit, having had such a great experience first time around but the friends with whom we went have been on several more occasions. The staff are friendly and attentive and the food is very reasonably priced with sizeable portions. A definite go-to among our friends when we're in town

We ordered take away from here with 2 x gluten free pizzas and 2 x garlic breads plus a pasta. We are not fussy eaters and it was revolting. The dough was dry and powdery and so hard and crispy you could barely bite into it. Even the toppings were poor. The pasta was watery and tasteless. They also did not even remotely try and keep the pizzas gluten free. They didn’t put them on trays at all! Just put them in with the wheat pizzas. Yes I’m well aware it all goes in the same oven but at least try to not cross contaminate it underneath! That’s where you would get the most cross contamination!! Where it directly touches the wheat pizzas. What also irritated me is the girl on the phone told me it would be on a tray. I wouldn’t have bothered had I known that. Just to top it off I ordered 1 x tomato and 1 cheese garlic bread and I got 2 cheese ones. Not that they were edible . I think this place just needs to not advertise gluten free food as it’s inedible. The staff also need education on allergens. They have all the signage but no idea at all. I can think of better ways to waste £35!

Used to be our favourite pizza place but last few times hasn’t been nice at all hard burnt hardly any toppings doesn’t taste nice at all like been sat there all day and chips are not edible disappointing

Food normally really good here but last order took a lot longer than normal to come and was delivered cold, complained to just eat and they have issued me £12 just eat credit off a £35 order, not really good enough, won’t be reordering for take away however will return to the restaurant as the food is good, just not for delivery.

I order from Gusto Italia fairly regularly - Their pizzas, garlic breads are fantastic… (I can’t comment on the rest of their food range, as I haven’t tried it all) Their wines and beer are also great, for the price point they are at - And the delivery service is fantastic, especially based on other service providers on Just Eat - Gusto Italia always stick to their time slot for delivery and more than often it arrives early…. All in all, fantastic homemade food, great drinks and spot on delivery

This was my first time ordering from here and it won't be the last, my food was lovely. My Pasta Arrabiata was perfect, as were the mushrooms. Delicious food and reasonably priced, really enjoyed my dinner.

Delivery was over an hour from ordering, was notified of it leaving the restaurant and didn’t arrive for a further 45 mins, delivery status was updated by the restaurant to “delivered” when in fact it was not and waited further. No apology, cold food

Lovely meal. The seafood casserole was delicious. Husband had a pizza & garlic bread & enjoyed it. Second meal we’ve had delivered & wasn’t disappointed.

We were late for our booking and the place was packed- but the staff were amzing and immdediately made us feel welcome. Food was alao amazing, served promptly and was piping hot. Generous portions- all in all a wonderful experience. We will return. Thanks All.

This is the best Italian restaurant I've been to by far. I've been to several Italian restaurants and the food here was authentic and the best I've had in a long time. The staff were really friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend a visit here.

Class food, the garlic bread with tomato was class and also thankyou too who let the chef know to leave the chilli's and mushrooms out the arrabbiata pasta, was brilliant, thankyou, 😀

Both our pizza’s were delivered on time, still very warm and tasted great as always.

I order every week ( takeaway) and every week the dish ( spaghetti pescatora) gets worse. My last one was Thursday. Clam shells - empty. Mussel shells - half empty NO prawns at all NO King Prawns when usually there are at least three decent sized half shelled. Burnt & cold Tomatoe garlic bread. Really poor quality seafood. I ordered one the week before which was below average, gave it one more shot on Thursday. No Thanks. Im done. Delivery always prompt & staff nice but the standard of food really has dropped Cheesecake ordered two weeks ago -all I can say is never again. Won't be coming back again for a meal or takeaway.

We popped in here thinking it was a quick pizza on our way out for a night out. We were so pleasantly surprised- it was a fantastic experience! Once inside it became apparent this is a first class experience with a fantastic menu, service and food. We will definitely be back!

We had a lovely evening celebrating a friend's 60th birthday. We had lovely food, the staff were very friendly and we were at the restaurant for quite a while, so not rushed out like you are at some restaurants where they are waiting for your table. They even went beyond the call of duty in helping us celebrate our friend's birthday when they brought the cake out that I had taken as a surprise, by how this was done (music, singing, clapping and cheering at the table). We have not been there for a while but hope to be back soon.

Picante Pizza was amazing, best pizza ive had in a long time, ingredients were fresh and oven baked. Will definitely be going back again and the price was reasonable.. excellent 10/10

Partner had spaghetti and meatballs and he said it was nice but could have had a few more meatballs as there was only 4 and then mentioned one of them was a bit hard. All the other food was nice :) and delivery driver respected being quiet coming to the house due to baby sleep so thank you :)

Spent nearly £100 on my order, for it to be delivered squashed with all the pizza toppings all over the box. Called the restaurant to inform them, they said they’d come and collect it, take it back to the restaurant to check, and re-send new food out. This whole process took far too long. Delivery driver turned up 2hrs later. The owner was so rude on the phone. The delivery driver however was really lovely and understood our frustration. Lovely restaurant but wouldn’t order to my home again.

Italian with a little English twist, with Italian chefs and waiters. Quality of ingredients is supreme, had a nice steak with Mediterranean veg, and as starter great chicken livers. Wine is from the north east of Italy. Definitely recommended by an Italian, I will be back soon!

Went with a friend over the weekend , I have been before last year and the food was good, this time though it was pretty awful.It had really gone downhill. I ordered spaghetti bolognaise and it was watery with hardly any meat, not what i expected. Service was just ok at best, also, full of loud uncouth families who let their brats run all over the place.. I wont go again.

I always order a pizza and dessert from here and they're consistently excellent. Easily as good as you could get in a restaurant and miles better and more authentic than the offerings from the big three international pizzeria chains.

Whilst I don't expect " fine dining", this "restaurant" is the worst place I have ever eaten in. From the outset the service was unbelievably slow even though the place was quiet. I ordered mushrooms as a starter, they arrived and looked very dry and overcooked and had clearly been keeping warm under a grill or in the oven. Waited almost an hour for the main course to arrive - salmon in a cream/prawn sauce. The salmon, again, was overcooked and dry. The rice was a pile of stodge and inedible. On expressing my dissatisfaction with the waiter, I was met with total disinterest and in fact he was rude and condescending. He advised me that is what real Italian rice should be.....I don't think so. I was going to ask for a doggy bag but even my two labradors would have turned their noses up. There are several excellent Italian restaurants around Preston, this is certainly not one of them. Good food, customer service, a friendly manner and a pleasant persona is something you will not find here, Avoid !

Read a few reviews before going. Didn't read thoroughly. Awful service, and dire food. Menu said 2 courses for 17.95, but questioned the waiter and he provided different menu. First red flag. Ordered king prawns, said served with garlic, lemon and chili Jam - when the dish arrived, the prawns were swimming in some kind of soup, tasted like sugar had been added, the prawns were overcooked and mushy, couldn't eat. Asked about the steak pizzaola and ordered, after waiter assured, was steak with a tomato sauce. An hour later, a dish arrived that was lukewarm and looked nothing like any steak pizzaola it had little taste was lukewarm the meat was in strips and it was tough as old boots. About 10 roast potatoes sat aside the food, they looked like they had been dipped in a fryer. Would not go near again.

Absolutely amazing lasagna £7 too. Excellent. And pizza was great. All was piping hot. Can’t recommend this place enough 5 stars.

A tad too much cheese on my Margarita pizza plus also lacked oregano/basil? Not as good as the one I ordered last week but I guess they can’t get it right every time! Profiterole was yummy!

A delightful, welcoming Italian family-run restaurant where I always receive an attentive and professional service. The prices are very good value and most importantly the food is consistently of a high standard. A wide variety of Italian meals are on offer, the highlight for me being the fish casserole, which is a wonderful, nourishing and delicious dining experience. They also stock a first rate red wine “Amicale” which scores 4.1 on the Vivino wine app and is something I always look forward to. All in all, a cracking restaurant. Well done guys.
