Went for the first time tonight loved it

Whatever you’re doing with the chicken wings keep doing it. Got 14’’ pizza chips, pasta and all the sides and was amazing

First time here but would definately go back, the food is lovely very hot and tasty. The young gentleman server was lovely, very efficient and easy to speak to. Compliments to the chefs, thank you for a lovely lunch.

We only ordered this as a takeaway and haven't been to the actual restaurant so this review is purely based on the takeout service. The vegetarian pizza arrived as a cheese pizza with a few olives, sweetcorn, and chunky slices of onion. Personally, a vegetarian pizza should have more than three veggies on it but hey, perhaps they ran out of peppers. This stuff happens. I get it. The Buffalo cheese and Parma ham pizza, however, was SENSATIONAL (though moist, but it's buffalo mozzarella so that's the gig you get with this kind of cheese). Absolute banger. The calamari was as skinny and basic as your typical Victoria's Secret model but, to our delight, still tasty. Order arrived in an hour's time. Warm and tasty. Bosh!

We called on a Thursday night we have been here many times before and thoroughly enjoyed it. Last night I ordered Penne Arrabiatta without the Spicy sauce as I am a pescatarian. When it arrived there were little chunks of meat in the meal.

A fantastic cosy Italian restaurant. A true hidden gem. The food has always been of a great quality. The serving staff are friendly and really pleasant. The new ‘special’ menu items are superb. The ‘Frito Misto’, is a seafood lovers’ dream. An excellent selection, beautifully coated and not greasy at all. Served on shredded butter leaves which compliments the beautiful sweetness of the excellent seafood selection. The food is competitively priced and great value for money. A great experience, so good, we have booked again to take friend's. Thank you so very much to Vito and the Team.

We ordered some ‘gluten free’ pizzas here. 2 x pizzas. 2 x gluten free garlic breads and 1 x gf pasta. It was the worst pizza take away we have ever had. We ate about 1/4 of the food and we are not fussy at all. The base was so dry and chewy and ridiculously crispy it could have taken a filling out. The topping was not even decent. I ordered 1 x tomato and 1 x cheese garlic bread and we got 2 x cheese just to top it all off. The pasta was watery and tasteless. If you are a coeliac avoid here like the plague. They have absolutely no idea at all. They didn’t even want to try to isolate the food. I was told upon ordering that the pizzas would be in a shared oven which is fine. I understand that. We get that everywhere but I asked the girl are they put on a tray and I was told yes. Then I turned up and they were literally put in with the normal pizzas on the oven floor! Absolutely no concept of wheat cross contamination at all. I asked could they be put on trays and I was told no they were already in! I was met with attitude about how the whole oven will have wheat in the air. We are aware of that but at least TRY not to have the underneath of the pizzas where cross contamination mainly takes place isolated from where the wheat pizzas have been. Had the food at least been enjoyable I wouldn’t have gone out my way to write a review but it was awful. I can think of better ways to waste £35. We couldn’t even get half way through. It was terrible. I ended up making my partner egg and chips for tea it was that bad. They seriously need to just not even get involved in the gluten free pizza game. It is not their forte. The normal pizzas look good but their GF offering is inedible. Don’t lure people in under the impression you can do it. Take it off the menu and stick to what you know or buy in the bases like dominos and put them on trays!!

Yesterday Stuffed mushrooms 🍄 with garlic Parmesan crumbs. Loin of pork pepperoni / grilled marinated pork, garlic, mix peppers 🫑 & chilli sauce. Latte & Bottle of Peroni

Amazing food! Service was great and it was very welcoming I had the fish mixed grill to share with my boyfriend and it was very tasty I would 100% recommend we loved it. The calamari was especially delishous. I would recommend going on a Friday night if you a fish lover as they have special fish meals. We will be definitely be retuning!

Very nice restaurant, lovely food with stone baked oven, I had the 14” pollo pizza which was just perfect! All friendly staff and very hospitable can’t wait to be back😁!

used to be really good, however the last couple of times have not been up to the same standards, one time they sent us the wrong pizza and called me a liar, even though my receipt stated what i had ordered, This time portions are abysmal, pizza was cooked on one side and had to put my pasta in the microwave to warm it up as it arrived cold Will Not Be Going Back Again !

This is a little hidden gem, since going for the first time last year, I have been again several times, food, staff brilliant, portion sizes are big, and they even offer takeaway, which I have had several. This place is small, around 8 tables, so I recommend you book, the menu is not overly big, but all cooked fresh, definitely one to try

Ordered goats cheese salad for 1st course no dressing offered had to go to counter to ask,aranchini, passable not brilliant. Salmon Rigatoni, horrible, Polo rigatoni awful, all for the bargain price of £74 . Ok including 4 drinks, got 2 espresso for free when I paid the bill and expressed my opinion. Best adviceDON’T GO THERE . Authentic Italian food my arse🤬. p.s been to Italy many many times.

Ordered food from gusto my wife ordered chips with her meal, no chips with order I had to put our food in oven keep warm (whats the point of getting a takeaway if you have to use your own oven)while my wife went back to get some chips. The food was of a good standard.

Got a pizza uncooked picantee stingy toppings horrible taste and a garlic bread over cooked £19.45 give the driver a tip of 60pence never again stay away.

Waited a little time to be served, but once served the food was excellent. We would definitely recommend this restaurant and look forward to returning.

A little hidden gem in Bamber Bridge typical Italian/Sicilian fayre with authentic flavours, huge menu with many dishes available on special boards.

This was in the Bamber Bridge restaurant last week. I ordered the salmon which came with pasta, rice or chips priced £16.95 I asked if I could have it with salad instead of pasta, rice or chips but was told this wasn’t possible and I would have to order salad as an extra side dish at £3.95 Since a side of chips was the same price I don’t understand why I couldn’t just swap one for the other! I decided not to pay an extra £3.95 and received a piece of salmon on my plate for £16.95 which, although quite tasty, was not worth that amount. This affected my enjoyment of the evening but I didn’t want to make a fuss and ruin the evening for the rest of my friends. However, I won’t be returning and nor will they.

I came for dinner with 3 of my friends. We all had a starter and a main. I am keto and coeliac and explained this to the waitress and asked could I please swap the chips/rice/pasta that came with my meal for salad instead. She said no but I could buy a mixed salad at £3.95 to go with it. I actually feel robbed. Terrible service. Unfriendly staff. Such a shame as it used to be brilliant.

This is the second time in a month I have tried Gusto and I have to say the food was amazing, I had Delivery both times and the Food was as ordered and still very hot, this is definitely one to try, will be ordering again when my Daughter is back from uni in Feb and I can’t wait.

First time going here, we went for a take away. Food was amazing and fresh, especially with being a wood fire pizza oven. Also seems like a cosy vibe to eat if eating in!

We had been wanting to try this place for a while, so I ordered some takeaway pizzas. I have to say we were very disappointed with them. My wife specifically asked for very little cheese, which they wrote down on the order. When we began eating them, her pizza was absolutely full of cheese, the cheap cheese rather than mozzarella. She pulled most of the cheese off, unfortunately taking most of the topping off in the process, but gave up and threw it away. Mine was no much better, too much cheese which, as it cooled, congealed into a rubbery slab. Would we return? No. We can make much better at home.

Had delivery. Food was cold and order was wrong. Gone down hill. I don’t think I’ll be back, need a new Italian.

Disappointing sums it up. Really wanted to try their pizzas but wish I hadn’t. Toppings were minimal, and the cheese used was most likely the ‘cheap bulk’ mozzarella cheese from a cash and carry as it just tasted rubbery. All in all the pizza was very bland.

The lunch offer is a very good deal and the pizza was also very tasty.

I enjoyed a delicious meal last night. Both my starter and main where perfect! Calamari was fresh, crispy and tasty and my lobster ravioli was the best I'd had! Anita the lady who served us was professional yet friendly, made me feel very welcome and was attentive and noticed when I needed something, 5 star review from me and I can't wait to go again. Thank you for a lovely evening.

Another wonderful evening with delicious food. We were lucky enough to be served by the lovely Anita, she made our night. We can't wait to go back next weekend.

I was looking forward to my large Picante pizza all night. Ordered it and walked over, then ran home excitedly, only to find out that I'd been given a hawaiian with salami... Very disappointed.

Gusto D'Italia is a go to. A great sit down family meal venue. Food is excellent and up there with the best. It raises the profile of Bamber Bridge and deserves high praise

Went for my birthday and the food was excellent. We ordered a mixture of items pizza, pasta, salad, chicken wings and chips. All perfectly cooked and served quickly. The waitress was very attentive. Cost less than £40 a big thumbs up.

Really lovely lunch, truly authentic and great value. I will be back.

Me and my husband tried it for the first time on the back of the reviews we knew it was more of a casual restaurant but we are more interested in good food… Please don’t waste your time or money. We have tried lots of restaurants we like coming out for meals to unwind and have an evening off cooking. We’re new to the area we love the med tapas and love saga but this place we will never return. Starter we had half cheese half tomato garlic bread which i’m not sure where the garlic was but it wasn’t on the bread. We also had bruschetta which i didn’t know could go so wrong. Dry bread dry tomato’s (who knew this was a thing) bland starters to say the least. Mains i had to go for carbonara as the menu was limited which isn’t always a bad thing! This usually means the chef is good at the limited items. Sorry no it tasted like packet powder and milk and again no flavour. My husband got the chicken in mushroom sauce and again no flavour. Honestly we have never had to write a bad review about italian restaurants we have visited but the food is really not worth the visit.

By far the most tasteless food I've eaten! It was shocking. No meet and great. We stood inside the restaurant for around 2/3 minutes then the "waitress" shouted across the room.... Yeah? I said table for 2 please she said in the corner near the window. At this point we started to laugh to each other we try to find the positives. But there was none. They sent over the wrong wine. We had no cutlery. I had to grab my own fro the next table. Who new you could get tomatoes on toast (bruschetta) so wrong 😂. The garlic bread. Was just bread. My chicken mushroom sauce was just a small teeny tinie dry chicken. In flavourless sauce. When we asked for the bill. The " waiter" just brought the card machine and asked for £55 no bill shown until we asked! Just found out from the local pub the head chef had left not long ago. This explains the 4 star maybe. Please don't go. Go med tapas or Sagar!

I wasn't disappointed the food was very good and the potions were plentiful. I recommend this place the staff are very helpful and friendly and the food was lovely. Will definitely be returning

I shall list my issues with the experience because this deserves no more of my time nor my writing skills - pizza fell apart (all toppings fell off) - could’ve cut my pizza with my car and it would’ve been more geometric - pizza was originally delivered somehow to the wrong house so it was over an hour late - whoever was on the phone tonight (31/5/23 at around 6) clearly couldn’t hear or retain information as the pizza was at the wrong house - wasn’t told about all of the ingredients on the veg pizza (possibly life endangering if you consider allergies) - we were given a £6 bottle of wine as a peace offering even though the order was over £40 Appalled

I booked this for my son and his girlfriend, for her 16th birthday meal. Both said they received great service and that the food was beautiful. Furthermore my son forgot to ask for the cake, so later that evening we passed by to collect it and the waitress was fabulous she came to our car and wish her a happy 16th birthday 🥳 she definitely went that extra mile and made our day xxx

Called in at the last moment, cozy table for two, bresaola, & crispy duck Salad followed by 2 grilled sword fish and zucchini with a bottle of pino grigio- You could easily believe you are in a classic family Italian restaurant in Milano or Turin - great food, atmosphere and service - good value too 👍

Have ordered from gusto many.times and always been spot on ,but tonight's was a bit if a let down, order to be told it would be 45 mins then after 25 mins it arrived and then pizzas weren't as good as we have always had bit disappointed, please dont rush the food we would rather wait an hour for good food as always . Will try again not will ask you to not.rush. and not all veggies like olives !!

Booked a table for 2 a few days prior , arrived a few minutes prior to booking and no tables available for 45-60 minutes and yet a unbooked table for 4 gets a table straight off. Greed !!

Booked a table for 2 for 7pm , arrived at just before 7pm and no tables for 45mins -1 hour .. although a table for 4 walks in (unbooked) and gets a table !! Shocking customer service.

Serious lack of customer skills. I’ve just called three times. The first time it diverted to a mobile - fine. Second time straight through to a mobile answerphone. Third time rings and goes to said mobile answerphone. I have just had a returned call - I answered ‘is that Gusto’ yes was the reply the person on the other end of the phone, who then asked - have you just called about a delivery? to which I answered - “no, but I have just called to place an order” the lady on the other end of the phone then informed me I had the wrong number and hung up! Great way to lose long standing customers.

Honestly this is the worst pizza I've ever had. It seemed like it was thrown together in 2 seconds with no care. Absolutely no flavour, the buffalo pizza just tasted bland and overly of mixed herbs. Garlic bread was undercooked and had way way too much garlic, chips were soggy, spaghetti Meatballs tasted of nothing, didn't seem. Like they were fresh either. Not sure where all these 5 stars came from, but wouldn't be ordering from here again.

Absolutely amazing food, got a table last minute on a Saturday night and couldn’t have been more impressed!! The food was absolutely unreal and the service was amazing. Super friendly staff and amazing at what they do, thoroughly recommend this restaurant and will definitely go back!!!

Popped in for some takeaway, not pre-booked. Food was prepared in front of us and perfectly cooked. 2 pizzas and some chips. Staff were good, friendly and efficient. Pizza's were brilliant, really tasty and plenty of toppings. Loads of chips, could hardly eat them all. Have been a few times before and has always been good, can recommend

Lovely little authentic Italian restaurant...a bit of a hidden gem to be honest. We went for a early Friday night dinner with the kids. Lovely fresh calamari and a steak with beautiful gorgonzola sauce for me, we also had a beautiful lasagne and the kids had delicious looking fresh cooked pizza. I m sure the gelato and tiramisu was lovely too, I just couldn't fit it in. :) the service was great too...very busy for take away too, although not disruptive.

Our umpteenth visit and another nice meal with garlic mushrooms to start, Capitan pizza and Carbonara.

Really enjoyable experience. Great service and great food. Nothing else you need really.

Small but well laid out. My daughter went for a build your own pizza party and she loved it. I tried a slice of pizza and it was lovely. They ended with ice-cream cones and they had a large variety of flavours/sauces.
