Amico Mio in Ribble Valley

We stumbled upon this restaurant during a weekend away. Staff were very friendly and accommodating, we were served quickly and the food was absolutely lovely. Thoroughly enjoyed our experience there and would go again if in the area.

We went on a Tuesday night, restaurant was quiet. Staff were all lovely and friendly. Garlic bread with cheese to start was lovely, drinks were nice. For mains, my husband ordered a pizza which looked lovely and he enjoyed. I got the monkfish, it was okay but very expensive (£26ish) for what it was. The fish was rubbery and devoid of much flavour. The sauce was really salty and dripping with oil. We asked for the bill, waited 10-15 mins but no one came so we ended up having to go downstairs. As it was sunny, we sat on the rooftop terrace but the furniture is cheap metal chair/table which weren’t very comfortable and the table was a bit wobbly. It is nice but expensive for what it is.

On arrival it felt very chaotic and extremely loud and had to almost push our way through a seating arrangement that saw multiple people blocking the walkway with their chairs. We were very grateful to be taken upstairs as downstairs sounded like a kids cafeteria with everyone having to shout to be heard above the extremely loud music. It honestly felt like if you shut your eyes you could have been in a nightclub. We felt stressed out before we'd even sat down and both just looked at each other wondering what in earth we'd walked into. We were seated and asked immediately what we wanted to drink despite not having been given a second to even look at a drinks menu. We placed our food order and the starters came out in a reasonable amount of time which was all good. The ribs were a bit salty but otherwise nice. The garlic bread was excellent and prawns were also good. The issues slowly began as we were asked if we wanted more drinks and ordered them but no old glasses were removed from the table. I even put my empty can on a plate to emphasise it was to be taken but the waitress picked it up, felt it was empty and then put it back down on the table and walked off. For the entirety of our meal not a single can, bottle or glass was removed and our table ended up looking like the end of a bar. Our mains eventually came and were enjoyed. The monkfish was a bit overlooked but otherwise nice. After the mains we sat for well over 45 minutes without seeing a waitress again. 3 tables had left and were not cleared. 3 other tables were sat upstairs with us and all were getting annoyed having been left with starter plates uncollected and not asked for drinks etc. It was like the whole upstairs had just been forgotten about. I'd wanted a dessert but waited so long to see a server that I just gave up and sacked it off. Got the bill and then noone came to take payment so we just got up and went downstairs to pay. Overall the whole experience was ruined by terrible service and stupidly loud music. On the back of that, despite overall decent food we won't be back. There are many better options in the area.

fabulous family run Italian place in heart of Whalley. we went last night for family meal and although we waited a while for our food to come, which wasn't a problem. The service was great but it was extremely busy and staff we're run off there feet. Overall we all enjoyed the food and vino 🍷

Went tonight on a Friday. Waited an hour and a half for food. Was told by numerous lovely staff that they are sorry for the wait. After the third time of asking the manager told me I don’t know what’s it’s like working in the food sector and he said “what do you want me to do?”. Serve us our food please! We were not made aware of this during our time at the restaurant until we asked to leave.

Absolutely fantastic Italian cuisine as always here. This is mine and my wife's favourite place to go. All the staff are welcoming and very well mannered. Service is quick and efficient even when the restaurant is busy. Me and my wife have had the pleasure of visiting here many times and look forward to coming again. Thank you to all the staff for another fantastic evening, you are the best.

What a great night out at Amico Mia in Whalley. The place was packed when we arrived but we were soon seated. The food was very good and topped off with a delicious Tiramisu.

Fantastic service on Saturday, table of 5, we all enjoyed the garlic pizza and main dishes; the desserts are also very delicious. Highly recommended.

Recently moved into the area, and it has become my go to place. Everything about it is 5 star, been with different family members and always look forward to the next time!!

Having being a frequent customer of the previous owners, my expectations and standards of Amico Mios is very high. Unfortunately, I will not be returning. It is such shame to see such an authentic Italian restaurant demise at the hands of inexperienced staff/management of this once lovely restaurant. I could not fault the food, however during the entire dining experience, the waitresses and staff seemed confused at any given time we had asked for something. It took 3 times to ask for a glass of water, when desserts arrived, the only 1 out of 2 came, and it took a further 15 minutes after reminding the waitress that we are missing a dish, which was only ice cream, to arrive. This experience is not one I would recommend, nor condone for such an established name in the centre of whalley. When we voiced our dissatisfaction, we received a blank response, no reassurance of our displeasures and nothing off the bill. It was only when the card machine came out, with the option of a tip did we hear a muffed “sorry” for a response. The food was great, had a delicious dish, and obviously kitchen staff are well trained, but are highly let down by the floor staff and managerial rolls. Even the toilets where at an awful standard, bins overflowing with dirty roll, empty toilet rolls all over the floor with no fresh toilet roll. Unfortunately, I will never return to this once beloved establishment. Maybe the floor staff and managerial rolls are more suited for Burger King customer service. I’d go next door to the Tapas next time!

The food was delicious, I had salmon farfalle and rosemary garlic bread, all really tasty and well cooked. They also do the best affogato that I've come across. The restaurant is a little cramped and felt a little chaotic in that it didn't feel like a relaxing environment. We got a warm welcome from the owner(?) But after that it felt as if we were forgotten about. We found the service lacking from the two ladies: no eye contact, no smile, no please or thank you's, no parmesan or black pepper, not one person asked us how we enjoyed our food and we had to stop people in their tracks in order to get another drink. Our conclusion was great food but poor service

Went with 4 friends to celebrate our Anniversary... Booked table for 7pm. Waited in a crammed doorway for 20 minutes. 6 of us seated at a table for 4..drinks arrived after 45 minutes.... We had almost no conversation due to the overpowering volume of music. Food was OK. Cannaloni was minute. After asking twice for music to be turned down a couple of notches we decided to leave without sweet or coffees. Ruined what should have been a pleasant evening out with friends.. Wouldn't recommend or return..

Tables crammed into every available space, no room for people or staff to get past without bumping into your chair. Long wait for everything, from being shown to your table, drink and food orders being taken, food arriving, plates being taken away. Excessively loud music being played to the point you could not talk to each other, resulting in everyone shouting at each other to be heard. Food very average (ridiculously small portions on the Canneloni). After the main course our party of 6 decided we had had enough and left without having a dessert and coffee. This was not a pleasant or relaxing experience and I’ve seen cattle treated with more respect. This restaurant needs to go back to the drawing board and learn what the restaurant trade is all about as they haven’t got a clue, and they should be ashamed to be taking money from people for this pathetic excuse for a restaurant.

Service all over the place. Food missing. Drinks paid for and still added to the bill. People didn't get food. Drinks took forever to arrive. Very bad night

Working in Accrington for a few days and stayed in the hotel across the road, the Swan. Strangely, after receiving a welcome email from the Swan offering dinner which I accepted, when I arrived they had decided not to open the kitchen… so I was forced to look elsewhere. Thank goodness I did because it was lovely and I’ll be back tonight again… The welcome was grand, we got a small table near the door (it was a tight squeeze but minor issue), we ordered a pizza and I had the Pollo Al Peppe, chicken with green peppers and brandy sauce. It was lovely, the peppers were perfect. The staff were very professional and the price was not overly high so yes, I’ll be back there again. Cheers 🍻

Visited on a Saturday night. It took 15 minutes after our booking to be seated and there was several groups crowding the entrance waiting for tables. The staff were very friendly but the service was quite chaotic. Food was tasty and fresh. Music was very loud and it had the ambience of a Benidorm restaurant

Was really looking forward to this restaurant I had pre booked it for the 31st December 2024 dinner for family after the panto. Unfortunately today I received an email at 1.55am that the booking was cancelled. Having reviewed past emails, I don’t see any attempt to email me to ask for a deposit/reconfirmation. I then phoned to understand why it had been cancelled and tried to rebook but now fully booked. Truly upset and disappointed.

Was really looking forward to a New Year’s Eve of panto then meal at Amicos with the family only to get back from holiday today and have the pre booking cancelled at 1.55am via email today. Then I phone up to understand and they confirm they are all booked up. Really disappointed having only just moved back to the area. Now left with no restaurant reserved on New Yes Eve.

In all this time no refreshments were offered let alone an apology. After waiting a further 5 minutes for the menus to be given we were still waiting to be asked what we wanted to drink. We couldn't believe it when one of the waiters brought out takeaway food that had been ordered for someone else. My only conclusion is that either the establishment is extremely poorly managed or their focus is on profit and not the customer; I leave you to make your own conclusions. Suffice it to say we voted with our feet and walked out. My advice, avoid this place when there are plenty of other decent places to eat in Whalley.

Celebratory meal for myself & my son. Very friendly, cheerful & attentive staff. Good choice of food on the menu. The meat cannelloni was delicious - obviously excellent quality of steak used. Other members of the party enjoyed their choices, such as paté, lasagne, Biscoff cheesecake & afffogato. The Calzone however was a little disappointing. Atmosphere was good, if a little raucous when a large party arrived - but it was Christmas!

Went with a party of 8 from work were advised the Xmas set price menu would be available on the night only to find it wasn’t causing the bill to be far more than expected . The place was packed when we arrived and waited 15 mins for booked table. Service was very slow and often missing items and I felt like I spent the whole night asking the waitresses for missing food or drinks . . Food when it finally arrived was delicious but the whole experience was overshadowed by the very loud music and the poor service .

Food was excellent, service for the food was fast. The drinks however were a total disaster, we were a party of six and were at the restaurant for 45 minutes before the drinks arrived and only 2 turned up, 10 minutes later after pushing the waitress she told us that they had sold out of the drinks we ordered, we tried again with different brand of beer and shortly after we finally got the drinks. The other problem was the background music, it wasn't in the background! I've been in quiter nightclubs. we had to shout over the music all night long, not pleasant.

Always serving the best food, everytime. Top chef's cooking up amazingly good food. Waiting staff are super nice and friendly. I even ordered a main from an image I saw online and they done it - now that's service. As usual 10/10 😁

Simply avoid unless you have no choice! Only given a two-star due to the service. Not too sure if It's trying to be a restaurant or a bar... As the music was so loud, you couldn't have a conversation without shouting. For the price and somewhat a decent reputation the food was plain and tasteless.. like you'd get at a under par bar. Honestly, it was so bad and bland. Added bonus... there's No aircon so on a slightly warm day you will be uncomfortable. A real shame!

Wow, talk about disappointment! Booked this for my birthday at 7pm. Absolute poor service from the start. Didn’t get seated till 7.10pm after being squashed at the main reception. A waitress didn’t try to take our order till 7.35pm after being knocked into several times where we were sat. When asked to move was told they’d try but was very rude about it. Finally left without food by choice and the manager didn’t care and expected us to pay for our coke and lemonade. Definitely won’t be back and my friend said she won’t return either.

Reading through an online report last week of Amico Mio`s most recently achieved award reminded us that we were long overdue a visit ..... so we went last night and enjoyed two courses each, plus a really delicious garlic bread with oregano and a great bottle of red - all for just over £35 each. As always, the restaurant was warm and welcoming and the food amazing !! It`s great to have an exceptionally well-run Italian restaurant in the centre of Whalley and we`re looking forward now to our next visit !!! :-) x

Uncomfortably hot in the restaurant. Pizza base uncooked, t bone steak only came with rocket, bill was incorrect and I had to point this out only to be told refund could only be give in cash. To top it off, I asked for a slice of cake to wish my son a happy 16th birthday and was charged £7.95 for this - without being prewarned. Very very disappointed.

Some relatives were visiting from Ireland and wanted to go to a Italian restaurant, couldn't have picked a better place than Amico Mio's, its local to me so it was easy to get there. Despite a car trying to re-arrange the next door shop front 2 days earlier when we arrived it was quite busy and noisy but what do you expect from an Italian restaurant? The service was 1st class and a very efficient and helpful Maitr De? showed us to our table, it was a bit cramped but we managed. All courses were faultless(we all had different things). My relatives thought this was the best Italian restaurant they had been too., it made there night after an arduous journey fro m Ireland earlier in the day

My partner had the mozzarella bruschetta to start and I had the caprese, both of which were incredibly fresh and delicious. For mains, he had the calzone and I had the tagliatelle alla amico mio (with courgette, prawns, garlic, white cream sauce and a little bit of lemon). You can always tell when people enjoy the food because they don’t speak as they’re too busy eating - we were silent for the mains as we both loved them! Overall, a really pleasant experience which was well priced, the atmosphere of the restaurant was welcoming and relaxed and the staff were friendly and attentive. We’ll definitely be making regular visits here and advise that everyone else does as well!

Recently we had ordered a large takeaway order and arrived to collect at the time given, most of the order came out after being 15 mins late (no apology) but we had to wait 5 mins longer for another pizza (while our food was sat with us going cold!!!!), the paper bag we had was loaded too heavy with x3 pasta lasagne dishes and x1 chips, which had all been sat for over 5 mins at this stage waiting for the final pizza, the handles obviously came loose with the heat and steam from the food, when walking to the car the handles snapped clean off the bag and the 4 containers spilled all over the floor (over £50 worth of food including my sons birthday meal who my family were gathering for). Plenty of people saw this happen and commented how ridiculous this was. The owner and manager was extremely rude and said it was our fault, we lied the bag broke and we must have dropped it, his bags would never break apparently (see attached photo to show in fact it did plus plenty of witnesses) and refused a refund or replacement food. Rang to complain (had to quickly move car before getting a ticker across the road due to lengthy wait) and he hung up on me. Will never visit again and unfortunately will be telling others not to go either. What a shame someone runs their business like this.

Lovely little place, but does seem a tad cramped and because the space us limited and full the ambient chatter can get a little much but the service and food is spot on. We'll worth a visit. Friendly and speedy staff offer great service.

Hubby and I had a meal at the weekend, and oh my, we haven't been for a while but it was so good. I had the spaghetti bolognes and he had a pasta dish. It was so full of flavour and portion sizes were just right. The staff were very friendly and atmosphere good. Will definitely return with friends next time.

Great service from two of the staff. Great atmosphere. The food was good, but it didn't live up to expectations, perhaps because it was busy. Pizzas needed a little extra cooking, and pasta was nice, home-cooked, etc, but expected more flavour and distinction for the cost.

Had a very good time with friends pre birthday celebrations. Great atmosphere, delicious food and very friendly and attentive service. I would Highly recommend this lovely friendly place.

1st time in. Food great value and loads on the plate. Very busy so popular. Low ceilings made the noise hard for hearing but that's the joys of an old building. Will certainly be back.

It was good, but we were up on balcony outside and feel we were forgotten about really, we asked for a few things and it took ages and we had to re request sometimes, but I will say the food was good.

Another great pizza with excellent base. Superb gelato to die for. Take advantage of the early bird offer 5 -6 pm for pizza and pasta. Great friendly service. However the staff uniform is a little embarrassing. When bending over the waitresses showed all their bottom as the ‘ skirts’ are far too short

My 80th birthday and as Amico Mio's is local what a great place to go too with its prize winning reputation. Some of the things were missing that we wanted from the menu(sold out) but I had an excellent starter, large prawns in a beautiful tasting sauce. My main, what a disappointment, I had Sea Bass and just that came on a plate with a very plain salad(no dressing) and for nearly £20, that definetly is not good value. We had a wonderful bottle of wine but when it was brought to us it was just plonked in front of the table with two glasses and the waiter just walked off, I thought it was customary to pour a little drop to taste of the wine.

Totally disappointed by our experience at Amico Mio! We have just moved to the area and as a family were looking forward to visiting the restaurant. We booked for dinner for the happy hour menu deal and I requested the seafood pasta (specifically stating happy hour menu when I ordered). Our food was tasty when it arrived and we were happy with the service + busy atmosphere! The problem was when the bill came they charged us £17.90 for my pasta which we were expecting to be £9.90; when I queried this with the manager he simply said this plate wasn't on the happy hour menu. It was clearly a mistake from their end and they'd served me the seafood linguine from the other menu but he did not acknowledge or apologise for this at all, on the contrary he was very rude to us and gave us no option but to pay! Unfortunately its left a bad taste for us, we will not be returning. It's a shame as we were looking forward to making this one of our regular eateries, but service is everything when you are out for a nice meal. It ruined our evening

We arrived in Whalley late evening after a long day. (Much of it’s spent in traffic!) Everywhere was closed and the staff at Amico Mio were just about to leave. They went back inside, switched everything back on and made us two delicious pizzas. Another couple ( looking like they’d had a similar day) followed us in and got the sane wonderful treatment. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you so much.

After trying this for the first time this evening , I am very disappointed. I ordered a large amount of food which consisted of pizzas , garlic breads and spaghetti bol potions. The pizzas were very undercooked to the point they were so doughy and literally luke warm like they’d only cooked for minutes. The spaghetti Bol portions had no meat and I’ve genuinely had better ready meals . The most frustrating thing is the prices are expensive for the quality of the food. Overall resulted in throwing 60% of the food away! Did not enjoy this at all , the last thing I wanted to do was have to cut my own pizza up too.

Food is always really good and the staff are lovely but the Manager is extremely rude and unapologetic! He needs educating in personal and management skills - this is the second time that bookings haven’t been upheld and pretty much told to leave if we didn’t like it ! He knows he has the monopoly at the moment in Whalley but it really doesn’t warrant his arrogance and rudeness !

Having booked a table for 5:45 to be told that it wasn’t available when I had specifically rung and asked for a table downstairs Then we were told that there was no draft beer Then my starter came after everyone’s else’s The food was as good as ever however the Manager was extremely rude and unprofessional !!

We did not get the table on time as booked...we waited 40 minutes...when we complained the manager was very rude and obnoxious and couldn't care less! He is greedy and money orientated and a very embarrassed excuse of a man. Don't expect anything more. It spoilt the whole evening

What a nightmare we had at this road side cafe type restaurant we booked a table for two and got a table for six didn't know the other two couples there must have been less then 2 inches between the 3 tables I had the mushrooms to start defenatly out of a tin cod for main course glad I had my glasses or I wouldn't have found it hiding on my plate and the source was so salty I couldn't eat it my first lager drink was just right nice and cold my second was there warm it made me feel sick then through out the whole meal they where playing music so loud that my wife couldn't hear me and I couldn't hear anything at all pretty much a very overpriced waste of time avoid at all costs there is much better out there

Food was standard . Music was so loud we couldn't have a conversation. I have a hearing impairment and had to leave before having a desert as it was getting painful. My ear rang all night will not be going again . Use to be a lovely restaurant but has turned into a fast food diner

My parents booked for my birthday. We were a party of 7. The food choices and standard was excellent. Everyone loved their meals. The service was fantastic too. The prices very reasonable and excellent value for money. A great family restaurant with a fantastic atmosphere. Thank you we will be back soon.

Food was so delicious! Had the squid ink pasta with king prawns and a pizza. Both perfect. Fast and friendly service, good atmosphere and fair prices. Would recommend and will be back when next in the area.

Pretty poor. Booked online for 6.45pm, arrived on time but didn’t get seated until 7.15pm. In fairness an obviously busy Tuesday but no apology for delay. Very noisy & cramped restaurant. Chicken livers & ribs for starters very nice. Lasagna & Chicken contaldini for mains. Lasagna average, nothing special, chicken dish very bland & obviously done in a microwave, chips were oven chips & badly cooked at that. Advised waitress & manager? came to verify but just said, ok, I’ll pass it on. £85 later………will definitely not be returning, poor, very poor

Came here on a recommendation. It was a fair distance to get to, so thought it better be worth it. The place isn't massive but does have an upstairs. We were seated at a table in the corner, which was next to the kitchen hatch. This wasn't much if an issue but what I didn't like was the waiter (or owner) stood behind me all the time telling the chef's to hurry up with orders and running the kitchen from this side of the restaurant, as I felt I couldn't lean back and relax without getting an elbow to the head. We had a laugh about it, though, and I think he's aware of the issue. The toilets are up two flights of stairs, so I dont know if theres a disabled one as i wouldn't want to give someone a piggy back up there if they were desperate. Anyway, these are the only issues. The food was really good, better than some i regularly go to, and the portions were good too. The staff were all really friendly and helpful. The prices are about right and the menu has a big choice which is good. I would recommend going here, but it's a bit far for us to go regularly. Will definitely go again, though. Oh, we went at 5pm and it was pretty busy and was still busy when we left so it looks like a popular place.

Tried this for the first time this evening, 1 bad point I didn't like was the waiters swooping in for plates whilst still eating did not like this at all. Other then that the food was absolutely spot really enjoyed the food!

Good italian food, we order pasta, brusquetta, prawns...some drinks. Amazing place and diversive menu. Good for vegtarian.

Ground floor restaurant a little small but attention to de tail great. Excellent staff and even better food. Good value.

Had a fantastic meal here yesterday ( Mother’s Day ), very busy but not a problem. We got seated within 5 minutes, the waitress took our drinks order within minutes and our food order when the drinks arrived. My wife and I ordered the Bruschetta Tradizionale to share, our Granddaughter had the gluten free garlic pizza for her main meal, my wife and daughter had the Pollo volcano with salad and I had the Spaghetti Amatriciana. We all said the was very good and mine was probably the best spaghetti I’ve ever eaten. Thank you all.

Everything was great, didn't wait too long to be seated, plenty of choice on the menu, staff helpful and friendly. Will be visiting again.

Absolutely highly recommended! The staff, the food, the ambience- all perfect! I visited for the first time with my two ( boisterous and not easy to please) kids. Staff went out of their way to make us feel welcomed and food was fantastic!

Have not visited for years and so thought we would come here in our monthly girls night, what a great place, from walking in ALL the staff was very friendly, polite and very attentive. The food was spot on, no long wait for food and when it did arrive was lovely, price was very reasonable would definitely recommend. It’s not very often you see all staff members so attentive and friendly would definitely recommend. 10 out of 10

As always… . Friendly service . Yummy food. Very accommodating with gluten free diets, my daughter is celiac and was spoilt for choice. Looking forward to returning.

First and most likely the last time I will be visiting Amico Mio! From reading other reviews it seems like the poor management & overbooking isn’t a new problem, but also one they don’t seem to keen on changing. Tables packed in, to the point we would have had to disturb a full table of 3 to even access the toilet. Very loud music so we were shouting at each other. Took half an hour to even take a food or drinks order, we only ordered mains & were being told we had to leave our table after an hour & a half so we wouldn’t have had time to have starters or desserts according to their system. Difficult to complain & ask to stay when you can visibly see the squashed in people at the entrance waiting for a table. Food was nice but very difficult to see past poor service & management as it really ruined our experience.

Food average, service good, unfortunately packed in like sardines, no space between tables, extremely hard to have any kind of conversation due to noise levels, definitely not the place to go for a romantic meal.

Stumbled upon this restaurant while staying nearby. What a find! Cannot recommend this place highly enough…superb food, superb service and a wonderful atmosphere! Will definitely come here again if in the area.

**Terrible experience overall** We booked a table for 6:30 last night, we arrived on time but the table wasn’t ready. We waited in the cramped doorway with 2 other couples who had also booked but their table wasn’t ready. After waiting 10 min we asked if we could be seated upstairs as the tables downstairs were that squashed together, we was happy to be seated upstairs with a little more room to move. We had a garlic bread starter which was very greasy & undercooked. My wife ordered a chicken dish & I ordered the bolognese. Probably the worst bolognese I’ve ever had, the chicken dish came with thick cut chips,they was undercooked. As soon as we left the restaurant I needed the toilet. We had plans last night but I had to drive home to use the toilet, I’ve been on the toilet all through the night, it’s 10.17 on Sunday morning & I’m still having to go to the toilet. I don’t normally leave reviews but on this occasion I've had to create an account & leave one. I’ve had better bolognese in turkey all inclusive hotels….shocking!!

Menu's looking a bit worn otherwise excellent

A very busy Saturday night with the hustle and bustle of a popular restaurant didn’t detract from our enjoyment although it was quite squashed in the bar area whilst waiting for our table. Food was excellent, I would definitely recommend the garlic bread with goats cheese and caramelised onion. Service exceptional- I need to mention Emilia and Louis . Emilia for her friendly personality and exceptional customer service and Louis for working behind the bar as he kept on top of the drinks orders with a smile on his face! We will be back.

Really nice restaurant with a lovely atmosphere, very good food & service, the staff are excellent. We were a party of around 25 to celebrate my twin daughters 18th Birthday, we were easily accommodated upstairs and everyone had a great night. It's easy to understand why it's so popular here so probably best to book as early as possible, especially for larger parties.

We live locally and have eaten here before and no complaints. We went for Steak Night - Date Night. The steaks were amazing I could not have cooked them better myself and the sauce with them. You are treated like family.

On Saturday 21st January ate with a friend, service from all the waiters and management was great and food was brilliant, will definitely be attending again!

Really poor... food has plummeted dowh hill. No customer service skills, too busy squashed in and muaic baring out....clearly greedt and overbooking as people were qued waiting for their tables... over charged on wine and food missed off the plate. Accused of leaving without paying...
