Just moved to Lytham & was recommended Bosco. Poor first course of Calamari (chewy) & mushrooms (like bullets) put us on the back foot, but main courses? Wow, stunning. Maitre D also reduced bill as a gesture of goodwill. Good experience.

Went for dinner before lytham festival, we hadn’t booked but they managed to squeeze us in, food was lovely with great service.

It might be because I've never eaten a calzone with a knife and fork, or it might be the seaside town setting, but this was one of, if not the best, calzone I've ever eaten. Huge, and stuffed full of veg and cheese, without being too heavy. Fully delicious, and lovely staff too! 10/10 I'll deffo be back!

Came last night for my friends 30th, we’ve been coming here for years and it never disappoints! Food always consistent, good quality and tastes fab… plus the staff are always incredibly lovely and attentive!

Been coming for years, menu hasn't changed much in that time. Food good, not fab but good. Haven't been for awhile so due a visit. Staff attentive, service abit rushed, food still good but portion size no where near, size wise, as it was even a year ago, yet prices have risen! suppose a sign of the times but it was disappointing to pay more money for what seemed like half the portion we used to receive...

Having eaten at Boscos several times in the past I have to say things have gone downhill since my last visit four years ago. My son , who is a chef and had also previously eaten there decided to take me for lunch the day before Mother’s Day. What a disappointment. The first thing we noticed was the rip off drinks menu compared with the food menu. The same drinks that were cheaper on the initial menu were ALL more expensive! Then our food arrived, as I mentioned earlier my son is a chef, he chose the lasagne with a tomato garlic bread. I ordered a pizza with chicken sweetcorn and jalapeños. Let’s start with the meat lasagne shall we, there was no meat virtually! Just lots of tasteless tomato sauce, when the waitress asked if we were enjoying it so far he decided to be truthful. They did offer him something else but he declined. My pizza was awful, tasteless with picked vinegar jalapeños! The cheese was tasteless and the base was not up to an Italian restaurant standard. Probably one of the worst meals I’ve had in a long time. The price didn’t match the quality! But hey that’s Lytham for you! Fur coat and no nickers! Don’t waste your money!

On arrival, the door was opened for us which was a nice touch. We had creamy garlic mushrooms which were so tasty. We both had a vegetarian pizza, it was very nice on the whole, probably could just benefit from a few extra roasted / chargrilled veg. Very pleasant service from all who served us. I would go again.

Varied pizza, pasta and risotto menu. Attentive staff. All the food was delicious. Very good value bambino menu for children up to age of 12 - the portion sizes from this menu are huge!

This place doesn’t listen to its customers. The pizzas have little taste and I’m sure the chef isn’t tasting what he serves. I went here because others wanted to try it and I was curious if they got better. They haven’t. Food and service still substandard.

We booked a table for six and we’re not disappointed with anything, the food was very good and the service was excellent, would recommend and will definitely return, thanks for a wonderful evening

Love Bosco. Staff friendly and attentive. The food is amazing. We had the calazone and it is so full of flavour ans fillings. My children had the children's meal which is super value for money. I recommended it to a family from Ormskirk who was in the area as it is by far the best. Advisable to book at busy times as popular. Well done Bosco team!

Awful Again! This place disappoints again. Bad tasting food and where the chef clearly still is not tasting what he sends out. I have been here before and it’s been bad but had to go again as it was a friends birthday and they like it. However, they also thought it was bad and will not be going back. I expect an inappropriate reply from the owner as they like to blame the reviewer rather than accept they may be serving cr&p.

Sadly this was definitely not the same place we used to visit regularly when we lived in the area. Service was very good but the food was not good to say the least. The pizza was nothing special & to be honest I have had better from a supermarket & not costing £16 ! The two pasta dishes that were supposed to contain chicken had literally 3/4 small cubes in the dish. Expensive £99 for just 1 pizza & 3 pasta dishes that where poor

Love Boscos always have, we visited on a Sunday with friends and the food was as per usual very good, the main reason it only gets a four star this time is the price of there wines which I do enjoy but with prices between £25/30 a bottle or £9 a glass I won’t be buying any wines from here again it’s beers for me, sad cause I love this place, to be fair to Boscos I would add this seems to be the same in some other Lytham restaurants at the moment.

Great Italian food and good service. Central location means always busy and food is freshly prepared, little pricey but well worth it.

Visited Bosch for lunch this weekend, they have a lovely seating area in the square. Very good menu choices. I had the chicken and mushroom risotto and my fellow diners had pizzas. We all enjoyed our meals.

2nd time here since lockdown ended. First was a lunchtime. Staff couldn't do enough for us after wanting to move to a table outside in the sun. The food was simple but delicious. 2nd time was a family of 5 evening meal. Starters mains and dessert were all served in s timely manner. Food was lovely and even with our eclectic food requirements, Bosco could appease all. Keep up the good work guys.

Many people now are vegans.Yes theres still more meat eaters and fish.But many buisness are giving vegans a choice.Large chains etc.And travel to places like manchester . Vegan choice huge!Lytham st annes is on a small scale but if your a vegan beware youll struggle.

I came with my cousins recently and had the best afternoon. The service was fantastic, very friendly and professional. We had a table outside close to the restaurant and there was music in the square - it was like being abroad! We had a delicious garlic bread and calamari to share and then pizzas and pasta for main. I’ve been several times before for different occasions for coffees, drinks and food. We will definitely be returning for the outdoor experience.

Fabulous meal !! First meal out since lockdown was lifted for outside dining. Lovely to sit in The Square in the sunshine listening to live music. Can thoroughly recommend the Calzone Picante.

Bosco has been one of my wife and I’s favourite places to eat since moving to the area. Not to miss out on our annual birthday treat we ordered take away this time around (as sad as we were that we can’t visit in person) and it didn’t disappoint. The food arrived quickly, piping hot and was as good as if we had been able to eat in. We can’t wait to visit again when you reopen, keep up all the great work!!
