This is a long-established bar in Soho. It's actually a cafe, but I called it a bar because it's an Italian-style restaurant. They serve sweets, including cannoli. The interior has a retro feel, exuding the atmosphere of a restaurant you'd find in Naples. Perhaps because of its location, models and people in the fashion industry are prominent here.

We arrived at 6.30 and had a table booked for 6 adults and 5 children. Staff were friendly but the service was slow and they were not attentive. When we needed drinks I had to walk to the bar as we were not being asked and then I had to ask again as they still did not arrive. After an hour the manager asked if we had eaten and we said we had only had starters. She said she would get the kitchen to make the food. The food was poor quality (the garlic bread with cheese was mostly without cheese) and two of the pasta dishes didn’t have the extra chillies asked for. When I went to the bar, staff were standing there on their phones whilst people were complaining all over the restaurant. We were not kept up to date with what was happening or informed of any delay. When asked we were told they were short staffed and had a lot of walk in customer. The whole experience was poor. Food was not great. Communication was nonexistent. Staff were friendly but not doing their job or providing a good service. I won’t be going back.

Don’t order using the website, apparently the restaurant get different order to what you submit. Ordered Cheese burger with salad no onions and got onions no salad, simple mistake but was told by the staff the ordering system doesn't work. Not to mention the £4 cold mushrooms.

I went there after a friend recommended it for the spaghetti bottarga. He told me it is the best but it was not although it was good. The spaghetti was too creamy and not al Dente, the bottarga not enough and the plate was served lukewarm. The staff were fun and I would go there again.

Local Sardinian restaurant that's been there a long time. Very good food, not cheap though. 2 course meal £32+ and no 1 course available. Do serve Pizzas at set times, contact to check. Was there on Valentine's Day so difficult to judge service as they were very busy. Good selection of wines, including Sardinian. Again not cheap.

I think people have convinced themselves this restaurant is a great neighbourhood choice because it’s been there forever, and perhaps it was good once upon a time, however it fails on all fronts. The food is fine (I mean highly highly average) but very expensive for what it is - a very standard veal “nugget” served with a tiny bit of pretty plain pasta (a hint of garlic and chilli), meant the dish resembled a very large kids meal at the princely sum of £43. I don’t take photos of my food but other reviewers have posted photos of this dish and that is exactly what it looks like - a sea of beige (which from other photos seems to be the case for most of their dishes)! My friend asked for some matchstick fries (on the menu as accompanying side to the steak) and he was told he couldn’t have any because the chef’s fryer was only small - a confusing response! The wine was nice (but they didn’t make that)…the restaurant also lacks ambiance, it feels like your sitting in someone’s house for dinner but they haven’t renovated in about 60 years (and not in a quaint way), and being charged a small fortune for the privilege. The staff were perfectly nice but lacking warmth and charisma, and we couldn’t tell if they were impressed with our wine consumption or disapproving. So to conclude don’t be fooled by this “institution” that is supposedly Stanley Tucci’s favourite local eatery, you’ll come away feeling disappointed and much poorer.
