Beautiful location and atmosphere. Our waitress, Raluca, was very attentive. Could not have asked for better service.

I was looking forward to meeting a friend I hadn't seen for a long time and treating her to a delicious lunch, in London. We had a lovely catchup. The meal was awful and cost in excess of £100. Overfried chicken pieces, pasta swimming in oil, an untidy handful of vegetables stuck in what I now realise was hummus, the risotto had a few shrivelled pepperoni pieces. I enjoyed the peach desert.

Wonderful evening supper with friends sharing the small plates style menu before theatre, sitting out alfresco / fab cocktails and the food was so tasty - every single dish delicious. Lovely staff and the wine list spot on too. A great evening enjoyed by all and excellent value for London given quality experience

My family and friends (total of 7 persons) decided to have drinks at La Goccia. We were told we had to consume snacks as well, which we did. Yet we were more than once pushed to consume more drinks and snacks, reminded by the waitress that “this is not too much”. Snacks were just ok but in tiny quantities for their price. Later on I with friends stayed on (another booking and table for 6) to celebrate a birthday. Knowing the portions are small, I asked how many “signature” dough balls are on each portion. The answer was, 5 or 6. When I asked why 5 or 6, the answer from the bothered waiter was “we judge according to the size” (the cook must have a really good eye for those things...) Unsurprisingly, when the order came it had only five, and when I asked why not six (even) smaller ones -as obviously we would be happy with 6 smaller ones because we ARE 6 persons- the unpleasant waiter very rudely repeated that they had decided so according to the size and that was it. At the end of the meal, we asked to eat the cake brought by the friend having her birthday at the restaurant. They asked us to pay 5 pounds per person for that (meaning the price to pay for consuming the cake on the spot would be higher than the cake itself). We left with the cake for elsewhere, however with a bill of 350 pounds (over 500 if I count the first bill with my family, including 13.5% service charge for this lovely experience). We will never set foot at this restaurant again that serves little portions of mediocre food, has indifferent to rude staff, is unable for the smallest gesture towards the client and to my eyes is yet another over-expensive tourist trap around Covent Garden.

Have been here a few times now and really enjoyed the experience. The setting is a little oasis away from the hustle and bustle of the surrounding streets . I love the look of the courtyard and inside the restaurant. Last trip I was with a teenage family member and we sat at the high stools in front of the chef station which was fun! I’ve really enjoyed all the dishes I’ve tried here and I can’t believe that another reviewer described the food as bland as far from it in my experience- we had some amazing bean/feta dish and mackerel as well as the meaty stuff . Packed with flavour. Cocktails are good too . A bit on the pricey side but that’s London for you now! Will certainly be back.

I would have given 5 stars except they forgot to deliver our wine which we had to prompt them for. Other than that, this is a great spot for a meal. Lovely courtyard setting. Unusual Italian style tapas menu. The food was really nice as was the wine when it eventually arrived.

Attractive restaurant with attentive staff. We were a large group and had a good evening overall. Things were let down by the fact that everyone in the group thought the food was well cooked and presentable but lacked any flavour. In my case, I made a request for the food to have lots of garlic and chilli and it came out with none at all. It was sadly, extremely bland.

Getting there was a bit difficult as Google maps did not lead us there directly. Reached there after asking directions from other shops nearby. Lovely courtyard with seating available outside so that we could enjoy our lunch in perfect summer weather. The choice of the venue was applauded by all as the food and service were very good. We enjoyed toasted Sicilian almonds, Broad beans and Pecorino, La Goccia signature chicken, Zucchini Frito, Foraged mushrooms, Fennel risotto, Tortino di carcioffi, Vermentino, Pale ale, Kumquat cheesecake and Gelato. Everything was delicious and the service was top class. Would certainly recommend this.

Me and my boyfriend attended the pasta making class and then had a reservation afterwards for dinner. The pasta making class was great, very informative, you got to eat what the class made at the end and also received a goody bag with the ingredients to make pasta, which was a nice surprise. The food in the restaurant was amazing, well cooked, flavoursome and great to share. The service was great and everyone was super friendly and helpful an all round lovely restaurant and an absolutely hidden gem. Would highly recommend.

We called in here on route to the Lyceum Theatre as it’s right next door, they promptly seated up, took our order then waited for our food & drinks. We chose spaghetti Bol & carbonara with a side of garlic bread. All was delicious and served promptly. Then we had lemon cheesecake for dessert! This is probably the best I’ve tasted, and I’ve eaten a lot of lemon cheesecake in my time. The staff were just lovely, very attentive & friendly. We would probably just come back because of the lovely staff. Definitely a great experience which wasn’t with a stupid price tag. We will definitely be returning.

Walking I noticed this small pizzeria characterized by a wood oven. The furniture is typical of an Italian trattoria. The staff is friendly, rapid and attentive to the customer just as you expect in Italy. The pizza is exceptional. The dough is well leavened and, therefore, light. The condiments are of excellent quality. Cooking is perfect. Excellent beer and ice cream also fully satisfies the palate. The account is adequate.

Five of us called in while in London nearby for a business lunch. Very different as you have to do down into an underground area. The decor is modern but with an industrial/classic feel. I am not a fan of pizza but we all ordered pizza as recommended by one of our group and I am glad we did as it was very good - as far as pizza goes. The atmosphere was great and the service was excellent. Highly recommend for somewhere interesting and quirky. The only down side was it was a bit pricey but I suppose we were in London!
