Excellent cappuccino and flat white - but the state of the toilet is disgusting! It looks as though it is never cleaned. Wouldn't go there again...

The staff at this location was kinda mean and unwelcoming. I was waiting in line and the staff member was trying to let other people who hadnt been waiting as long go ahead of me even after I brought it to their attention. I suspect had I been white or asian this would not have happened.

Flat white was good, but was over crowded and it's a pain that you need a code for the toilets. Would be worth having a sign at the top of the stairs, so you can get the code before you go down and find it locked.

Cassandra was delightful, attentive and kind. Service was quick affective and the cookies to die for. Good location for working if in Oxford Circus.

Something about this place keeps making me go back. Remind me of uni days, when I’d spend my time here. Most of their drinks and sandwiches are alright to me, but it’s a cozy place with a nice book collection, so that’s a plus for them. I recommend if you’re near Oxford circus!

Good cortado makers . Busy and tidy shop . Friendly staff. Nero coffee is my fave of the high street coffee shops.

An ideal location to serve a coffee or something sweet.

Disappointing chai latte—just milk with syrup, nothing like an authentic chai. If you're going to offer it, at least make it properly. Feels like a lazy menu filler. Try a real one elsewhere, and you'll see the difference.

Coffee is fine but their vibe is good. I love the book collection there and how it ads to the aesthetics and overall ambiance of the place. It’s really busy though.

I wouldn’t recommend they close downstairs early for no reason whatsoever leaving people to crowd around upstairs.I asked the staff and they gave no reason. Joe and the Juice are a much better option, nicer drinks and they keep all their seating open till closing time.

There are homeless all the time in store, I feel very uncomfortable with them. You should have security guards as this is a central area.

Rude and immature employees who don't understand what you are saying and then tease you and make fun of you for making a simple mistake. Don't recommend.

While this Café is at a convenient location and the atmosphere inside is lovely, the customer service is not great. The baristas are still very rude most of the time. One of them swore at me following a simple question. I avoid this shop whenever I can.

I used to work for Caffè Nero, when respect for the guest was the priority. And the golden rules were actually followed. Customer is the king, it’s true but is doesn’t mean the customers is always right but the way I saw some customers were treated by the staff its unbelievable. There’s no more respect and passion for this job. I waited 10 mins at the counter before paving my order even if the guy working looked at me several times, I had to ask many times if I could place the order, and got it wrong. Couldn’t get bother to tell the cause had an argument with another guest in front of me.

Café Nero is a great choice for coffee lovers! They always offer good coffee at a really competitive price compared to the green mermaid. I love their warm and friendly atmosphere. It’s a perfect place to relax or work. If you're looking for a good coffee without breaking the bank, I highly recommend Café Nero!

Inedible un-baked cookie served on a polystyrene plate and average coffee served in a paper cup — and yes, I was eating in. Cafe Nero used to be a perfectly OK chain. Every one I go into these days seems to be worse than the previous one. Today’s was the nadir. Never again.

I have tried their Skinny White Cappuccino. It was better than some the coffee shop around that area. I have served by one the Asian girl who was wearing black hijab. She was very friendly and polite. Thank You For Your Service

Great place to chill, foods not great I never eat it as the vegan options are limited and too pricey for a toastie or fruits so I just order a decaf tea with soya milk, the service is great and the staff are amazing 😍..they need more vegan options at reasonable pricing.

I visited this store today and was warmly greeted by a friendly young woman, but as I was placing my order, her colleague who was of East Asian descent abruptly interrupted me in a rude and dismissive manner and insisted to take my order. When I received my drink, it was handed to me carelessly and the way he looked at me made me feel uncomfortable and upset. I come to this store often and had visited just the day before, when the service and staff were welcoming and friendly. I’d suggest management have a word or even better have him trained on how to greet customers .

Toilets are extremely inadequate and lacking in cleanliness.

Was great to be back near the Uni I studied 9 years ago. Staff was friendly. We had the Sicilian lemon spritz. It tastes good on a warm summer day and after the ice melts. It was quite annoying to sit between people who smoke constantly. But I guess that’s normal in Britain. Every time someone left a waiter came to clean the table and adjust the chairs who were placed almost on top of each other. Perhaps they should remove two chairs so people can sit comfortably.

One of the most wonderful cafes in London. The outdoor seating is very elegant and their coffee is excellent. In fact, I am tired of finding good coffee in London.

Baked leavened products are not good. Coffee is a sacrilege. The rudeness of the cashier on 25.07.2024 at 2pm was unique! I don't understand how they work!

Amazing coffee and delicious muffins. They don't have a great variety but what they have is of very good quality.

Coffee is good quality but gave only two stars because the outside sitting area is left unattended. There is rubbish on the tables, plus always random people sitting, not customers and you purchase your drink but there is no spot left empty to enjoy. They only have the sign for the use of toilets that it's for customers only and you need the code and no indication for the outside sitting area.

My go to Caffe Nero, wonderful design and I always order a caramel and espresso frappe creme then I ask for it to be thicker and this one lady she always make it the best. No other location makes the drink how I like it like this place does

I saw employees throwing the garbage in the garbage room at the side of the store using a key attached to a milk pot used in making the drinks!! Not just once but many times!! This is gross people! 🤮🤢

Worst Nero ever visited! Filthy & shabby: takeout cups strewn all over payment, dirty tables, no lock on toilet door, missing mirror, chipped sink..list goes on…

Good coffee and friendly staff. Less busy than other places, for this reason you can sit inside, or at the tables outside, and drink a coffee far from the confusion of Oxford Street.

Food and drink is good, just like any other cafe but more expensive that others. I'd prefer having the same things at a cheaper price.

Friendly and helpful staff, but in a very busy tourist area, so paper cups only (even if dining in) when I visited, and very little space. Standard Caffe Nero drinks and food, but not very relaxing unfortunately.

Typically a positive reviewer but Cafe Nero was poor. Coffee was burnt and food tasted so strongly of baking soda it went in the bin. Tried to tell the staff but they were run off their feet. A real pity - Farmer J a few blocks down is a good alternative :)

I really loved the ambience of the place, which is why I gave this place a try. On contrary, they were careless with the requests. I asked the guy at the counter to add soya milk to my caffe mocha because I'm lactose intolerant however, he still made it with the whole milk. I could say that because I've been having soya milk coffee since ages as a solution to my lactose intolerance. This time, I had to visit their toilet twice because it occurred that the reaction was caused by the usage of whole milk in mocha. He seemed absent minded at that time as well. As he confirmed thrice about the addition of soya milk in mocha and I inquired as well after he handed over the coffee and he had to look back to reconfirm although there was no soya milk behind him. Anyway, my birthday was ruined very well because of them. So, thanks alot.

Diese Filiale war sehr sauber. Mitarbeiter waren stets freundlich. Heiße Schokolade hat ganz gut geschmeckt. Preise sind hier auch gut.

Goed kopje koffie gedronken. Was een sterk bakje en een beetje extra warme melk in de Machiato was geen probleem.

Try the luxury caramel latte. It's fab! Didn't have marshmallows on the day I went though :(

Bit crowded and the seating area downstairs was mostly filled with people sitting,no cups just using the space.No crockery when having a drink, just disposable cups which is a waste? The staff serving me wasn't very attentive or a good listener.

Went here yesterday and ordered 2 flat whites. They came out and both had milk that had clearly gone off. The smell and taste was terrible. We took them back and the server tasted the coffees himself and agreed the milk was off. He duly did two replacement flat whites and unbelievably these were also done with off milk. We go to many Nero branches and have never had this problem before. Absolutely awful. Avoid.

What's the point of having a click and collect station if the orders are never ready and the staff just ignore you and will only serve those in the queue. The whole point of buying your drinks in advance is for them to be ready for collection. I always shave to wait around 10 minutes to get served even though I'm waiting at the till. Next to the click and collect point.

Best coffee, Best service always

I recently stopped by Cafe Nero for a quick coffee fix, and while the coffee itself was quite nice, I couldn't help but notice a few drawbacks. First, the coffee cups, although stylish, were a bit tricky to handle. Unless you have extremely skinny fingers, you might find them a tad cumbersome. Also, there's not much room for milk, which can be a downside if you like to customise your coffee. Moving on to the pastries, I was a bit disappointed. They seemed a bit on the cold side and not as fresh as I had hoped for. Perhaps they could improve the pastry display. Now, regarding the service, it was a bit lackluster. No thank yous or smiles, and items were just left on the counter without much interaction. Also, there were no trays provided, which made it a bit challenging to carry everything to my table. Speaking of seating, the cafe can get pretty crowded, especially during peak hours, which can make finding a spot upstairs a bit of a challenge. The basement seating is an option, but it lacks the cozy ambiance you might expect. In summary, Cafe Nero is a great place for a quick takeaway coffee, but it can get crowded and noisy quickly, which can take away from the overall experience, especially when seating upstairs is limited. Still, if you're in a hurry and just need a caffeine boost, it's worth a stop.

I love this place because it's always open till 10pm! Even on Sundays. Bless you guys!

A little slow but very friendly, helpful service

Caffe Nero is always been one of my place to have a drink or coffee, but this store was one of the busiest comparing to the other locations. Service and team were good, the store was filled with customers so I had to try with the paper cups. The mocha was so delicious as always.

about 2 weeks ago i stepped in the shop with a can of coffee drink of my own property and a guy [don't know if security or what] spoke to me very aggressively to say i couldn't get any cans inside! no cans! he repeated. i used to get there almost everyday, but definitely i don't want to deal with psychopaths anymore
