Da Vinci’s has been a long standing favourite of ours and our visit on Sunday did nothing but enhance this. It even had a massive thumbs up from our michelin star Italian friend. Owner / chef Craig cooks very good Italian food from a menu consisting of starters , pizza , pasta , grills , desserts and a small selection of dishes on the specials board. Giovanni manages the restaurant with ease and is always glad to interact with all the guests. We arrived on Sunday and the usual warm welcome from Giovanni awaited us before taking our seat at the table. The menu stays the same and there were some delights on the specials board that were actually going to go down a treat. To accompany our starters of Arancini , Polpette and the Carpaccio of Beef we chose Anno Domini Falanghina. There was then a nice surprise as Craig had made for us a special Gnocchi dish that was delicious. For the mains we all enjoyed the specials which were a Pan Fried Fillet of John Dory with clams , white wine and potatoes as well as the Pappardelle with veal and button onions. All washed down with a delightful Valpolicella. For dessert Craig had made a fabulous Chocolate Torte. A cocktail followed by a coffee brought an end to a fantastic afternoon. Da Vinci’s really is a credit to not only my hometown of Hornchurch but the Essex dining scene. Have been here a few times and it is always a nice evening. Food is always good and the service is excellent with friendly staff and you never feel rushed. Live music helped make a perfect atmosphere which everyone seemed to enjoy.

I had my wedding here and have been more than a few times for dinner and lunch. I couldn't rate them enough, service and food is fantastic and the staff couldn't do more to help.

My wife has been there with friends and so we went there with family on 27 January. Venue had a very nice ambiance and staff very friendly. Good choice of menu. We had Italian bread, olive oil and balsamic vinegar to start nice helping and then the main was lasagna- very hot ( heat) and a very large portion and we had a very nice mixed salad ( plenty of olives) for dessert tiramisu. All in all a very nice and reasonable priced3 course meal with drinks ( albeit nonalcoholic)

Food was excellent, drinks very expensive but the evening was absolutely ruined by the "live" music singer which incidently wasn't advertised or mentioned when we booked. Website says live music on Friday we went on a Saturday. As a group of friends catching up we were unable to hear ourselves speak or have a decent conversation the entire evening. Several times we had to ask for the music to be turned down but the volume soon crept up again. Check before booking here if you are expecting a pleasant evening socialising with friends or a noisy party atmosphere. Wouldn't go here again on principle as despite the good food the evening was very uncomfortable

Had a lovely meal with wine and an enjoyable Italian lesson. The service was good and friendly and I would thoroughly recommend paying this restaurant a visit.

We had a brilliant night with our family, 10 of us in all, everyone said it was a lovely meal with great entertainment, the staff couldn’t do enough for us. All of our party said they couldn’t wait to go back. Keep it up davinci

Went last night , just amazing!!!! Didn’t know it was Elvis night he was brilliant everyone was up dancing, I had lasagne think it was actually the best one I have ever had , massive portions too !!! Very attentive staff everyone friendly will definitely be back …. I fancy trying the brunch

We had meatball starter and calamari beautiful warm bread with balsamic vinegar really tasty then we had steak chips my other half said the steak was so good linguini with prawns squid muscles in Tomato sauce so so good we ended with floater coffee expresso martini and ice cream would highly recommend

We ate as a family in Da Vinci's today. The food was all fresh and delicious. The owner was friendly and made me some fabulous cocktails. I have to say, this is the best restaurant in Hornchurch by a mile. The price for a three course meal and drinks was very good, especially at a time of rising costs. We will be back.

Had a lovely evening with a group of friends, everyone was very happy with not only the service from Giovani but also the quality and taste of their food. It was a really relaxed environment which is highly recommended you may also want to check out a cocktail or two!!!

We took our daughter there for her 22nd birthday on 5th Feb. The only trouble was trying what to decide as the menu is mouth watering! I usually go for the linguine VoIgoli but went for the roast and wasn’t disappointed and was as close to home as you can get. One went for the Special, (Rabbit) which he said was amazing and other daughter is gluten free and she had a tasty Spag Boll. The two others had Lasagne which also looked delicious !! I’m going to introduce my two oldest friends there on 24Feb for our 60th birthdays which will be even better as has live entertainment !! Best restaurant in Hornchurch!!

We’ve just had a fantastic afternoon at Da Vinci’s Restaurant, couldn’t fault it. There was a great atmosphere, food was amazing, and even though we were a large group of 17 and the rest of the restaurant was also busy the service was spot on. Can’t wait to go back. Xx

Fantastic authentic family run restaurant. They do cocktails, extensive menu and specials. What makes this is the entertainment while eating. Such a treat to find. Definitely recommended

This is one of our regular and favourite restaurants to visit not just in our hometown of Hornchurch but in the whole of Essex. We always enjoy great food from chef / owner Craig as well as excellent service from manager Giovanni. But I have to say that our latest visit on sunday was easily one of the best. We arrived to the usual friendly welcome from Giovanni before being seated at our table. We ordered an aperitif to give us a chance to look at the menu. It was when Giovanni came back not only with our drinks but also the specials that we would be in for a little surprise. Unknown to us Craig offered us an opportunity to have a charcuterie board and a beef carpaccio as starter options to which we gladly accepted. We then ordered a bottle of Montepulciano D’Abruzzo to pair with the food. So now to those starters of a Charcuterie Board and Beef Carpaccio which were both absolutely fabulous. The carpaccio was accompanied with mushrooms , nuts & parmesan while alongside the fabulous selection of meats were olives , sun dried tomatoes , stuffed pepper , burrata & salad. To be honest every mouthful was an absolute delight. After a nice little break it was time for the main course where my wife enjoyed her favourite Spaghetti Vongole. For myself I was in for a real treat as from the specials board I chose the Braised Beef with broccoli & creamy mash that was absolutely fantastic and without doubt one of the best dishes ever eaten at Da Vinci’s. Now it was time for desserts where from the specials my wife chose the Cherry & Almond Bomb whereas I had the classic Tiramisu. Accompanying these Craig sent out a heavenly Lemon & Lime Posset. We finished with a coffee to bring a fabulous lunch to an end. The food created by Craig was amazing and the service was nothing more than you expect from Giovanni and his team. This really is a restaurant that I would recommend and is also a great credit not only to my hometown of Hornchurch but to the county of Essex as well. When we asked for the bill a complimentary glass of bailey’s and port were sent to our table as a final delightful personal touch. Thank You Craig & Giovanni for an excellent lunch and look forward to many more visits in the future.

Average restaurant, average price, average food below average waitress service. This restaurant always less than half empty when I drive past could do so well with a bit of tlc

My sister and her family come here alit but this is my first visit. I was very impressed by the service and food.The restaurant can get a little noisy as the acoustics aren’t great, especially when it was as busy as last night, but generally the atmosphere was very good. I’d definitely go back and try the dishes that I was debating over!

A warm welcome and attentive staff. The food and service were great and at a very reasonable price. We were able to have a good catch up without it being too noisy and we would all visit again.

A refined and delicious menu with all the classics. The food at this restaurant is consistently impeccable but even more important than that is the fantastic team who work here. Craig and the guys are professional, accommodating and SO hard working. There are a lot of options in Hornchurch and Upminster but if you are looking for the best Italian it is here. It’s the perfect mix of quality and value, see you all in a week or two! PS I couldn’t find a decent picture from last night so I’ve included one of my cat hoping to be painted like one of the French girls.

Excellent service and food . I went for my birthday lunch in November and a Christmas night out with friends. The food was excellent. Especially the steak , pizza and pastas. We had a singer on the Friday night for Christmas which added to the atmosphere. The service was great and I will 100%return

Da Vinci's have got it just right. Traditional Italian dishes done properly, a personable front of house led by the enthusiastic Giovanni, and great background music. I strongly recommend trying the homemade limoncello! Grazie mille

This Italian is a little gem in the heart of hornchurch. I visited for my birthday in November for lunch .I have the meatballs for starters and my partner the squid.For mains I had the vongole that was delicious and my pater had the steak that was melt in the mouth experience. For afters was a tiramisu home made and the best I've tasted. I would 100% recommend and will definitely return .

We dined here with friends for the first time and had cocktails to start then starters, mains and dessert. Hospitality was great, I had the chicken in breadcrumbs which was beautifully cooked and my friends had pasta dishes which they couldn't fault. The ambience didn't feel rushed, and the limoncello shots were a nice touch. Overall, a great evening here to catch up with friends. Will be back.

It was great to be back and support one of my favourite local restaurants Da Vinci’s and enjoy a fabulous lunch. The food from chef/owner Craig is always cooked to a high standard and is matched by good friendly service. We arrived on sunday and received a friendly welcome before being shown to our table. Once seated it was nice of Craig to come over for a quick chat and welcome us back to the restaurant. We then looked at the menus where there was a choice of the main menu , sunday roasts & specials.Starters. We started with the Calamari and the Gnocchi. With these came a nice surprise from Craig who sent out a complimentary Beef Carpaccio with rocket & parmesan.Mains We then moved on to our mains which both came from the specials board. The first was a Prawn & Lobster Linguine and the other a Pan Roasted Halibut with a clam veloute. These were two absolutely fabulous dishes. We accompanied the dishes with side orders of spinach and chunky chips.Desserts Now it was time to finish with desserts. We chose the Tiramisu and the Torte della Nonna which were both an absolute delight.We finished with a coffee to bring to an end a fantastic lunch. This is a fabulous local restaurant serving good honest Italian food with friendly service. I would highly recommend if your local to the area to pay them a visit and I for one am looking forward to many more visits in the future.Thank You Craig for a great lunch and looking forward to seeing you all again soon

Had a lovely meal delivered. The starters were amazing and the mains even better. Eaten at the restaurant before the lockdowns and The home delivery is just as good and restaurant quality. Would highly recommend the food delivered and once the restuarant is open. It is definity worth a visit

Me and my partner have visited Da Vinci's numerous times and each time we have had an incredible experience. The food is cooked fresh and tastes absolutely fantastic!The take away option during lockdown has been brilliant. Food always arrives piping hot, it tastes amazing, delivery is free and is always on time! Couldn't recommend this restaurant enough, it is hands down the best restaurant in Hornchurch and Havering!!

Had our first 3 meat roast delivered from Da Vinci’s today!! We’d heard good things about it and it didn’t disappoint! It arrived on time and was piping hot and so well presented! Plenty (and I mean plenty!) of food - beef, turkey, pork, 3 veg, tons of roast potatoes, stuffing, pigs in blankets, Yorkshire puddings, gravy & sauces!! All fantastically cooked and obviously fantastic quality food!! We all massively enjoyed our Sunday meal and will be back (when we wake from our food coma ). Thanks so much!!!

We as a family should have been sitting in Da Vinci's today enjoying a Christmas Eve meal, but due to being in tier 4 was not able to! Instead we enjoyed a takeaway which was delivered piping hot and ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. This is 2and takeaway during lockdown and again was not disappointed. We will definitely be ordering again and highly recommend this restaurant ... service and food SUPERB. We can't wait to visit again when allowed to reopen, in the meantime will be enjoying a few takeaways. Thank you and wishing all at Da Vinci's a well deserved relaxing Christmas.

This is the best restaurant I've been to in a very long time. The meal was delicious, the portion size was generous, would have loved to have finished it all, but regrettably couldn't, and very reasonably priced! The service was good and we didn't feel rushed, and matched the atmosphere perfectly, suitable for most occasions; a romantic meal for two, or for the whole family. Nothing was too much to ask for, and even happily catered to our awkward dietary requirements without hesitation. Would HIGHLY recommend this restaurant, can't say enough good things about it. Everyone should give it a try. Can't wait to go back!

This is most definitely the restaurant to make being in tier 3 or lockdown a little easier! The food is delicious and doesn’t lose its restaurant quality in transit. We have ordered numerous of different dishes during these terrible times and each one has been delicious and piping hot. We also tried a Sunday roast last weekend and I’m very fussy with a roast as you’re often left disappointed as nothing is quite like a home cooked roast, but this was amazing!!! We have spread the word to friends about how amazing this restaurant is and they have not been disappointed when they tried it!! Obviously when the restaurant was/is allowed to open it’s also a fabulous place to go.

Went on Monday night for my birthday meal and was fabulous as always. Staff are always friendly and attentive. The food is piping hot, tasty and portions are huge. Gnocchi and meatballs to start were delicious and my main of carbonara was so tasty. They have an extensive gluten free menu too - most things on menu can be made gluten free which is great. Finished off the evening with cocktails. Brilliant local restaurant that deserve support in these difficult times.

Nice authentic feel inside, very tasty food and good service especially the young girl greeting customers, so happy and friendly. We will return.

Ordered a takeaway Sunday evening. Ready when we arrive, though they do do home deliveries I believe. Got it home and it hot piping hot. The Spaghetti meat balls was excellent and my wife steak was just as she likes it. The chips were chunky one as there were so many she could not finish them all. The garlic bread was just as good. All in all an excellent meal for the price. Have had issues in the past however new owner Craig has made us want to return keep up the good work..

Visited this restaurant last night and I can't even comment on the food as we didn't stay that long. My partner and I didn't have a reservation but went in on the off chance, The waiter came over asked if we had a reservation and we said no he instantly looked irritated and said I can give you a table but you can only have it for an hour. He then tried to put us on a table that was so close to another party there was no social distance gping on, whilst the other half of the restaurant was empty. So we asked if we could sit at another table and that we'd be less than an hour. He sat us down as he was bringing over the menus seriously, if looks could kill!! He put the menus down ong with A track and trace form and said fill this in and walked off. At that point we got up and walked. I don't have to pay to be treated like that, he could have said they were full he didn't need to fit us in .. extrmely rude and bad customer service!!

We haven’t been for a meal at Da Vinci’s (our favourite restaurant in Hornchurch) since lockdown due to corona virus epidemic. We finally plucked up the courage and went for a meal there on Thursday. We weren’t disappointed, we had a lovely meal, and felt very relaxed. We would like to thank Craig, Giovanni and Veronica for a most enjoyable evening. Hope to see you all again soon.

We are new to the area, all love Italian food and wanted to celebrate our daughters birthday. The staff were so polite, attentive and professional. The food was faultless, well presented and very tasty. Fabulous atmosphere and can't wait to return. Thank you ☺️

We booked here to try somewhere different and make the most of the Eat Out to Help Out. We weren't dissapointed!Lovely buzzing atmosphere and a nice setting. We all had different mains and all thought the food was divine (including a perfectly cooked steak). Certainly good value for money, especially with the deal.The only thing I would say is the service was a little slow - we waited 45 minutes for our dessert to come (3 slices of cake) and had to chase a couple of times. However all the staff were very friendly and you could see they were rushed off their feet during such a busy period which was no doubt caused by the Eat Out scheme.A really nice place to go for a chilled evening with great food if you're not in any hurry.Will certainly be back!

Great to see the place open and fully functional following COViD. My wife and I are eating there on a weekly basis now as the food is so good. So glad this little restaurant has picked up, if you read reviews. I personally have never had a bad meal or service. And my last visit was no exception. The service from start to finish was personable, polite and friendly. Interactive without being intrusive. The food was superb throughout, with plenty of time between courses, and no sense of rushing at all. You felt safe and looked after whilst in this crappy pandemic. Which was also reassuring. The wine was perfect, and reasonable price for a restaurant. We had gnocchi, calamari and tomat with mozzella to start, lamb, bream, pork belly and vegetarian pasta dish, with tiramisu, black forest torte and pecan tart to end. Each course was great with sides of Freshly made FAT chips, potatoes with olives and Ratatouille. The total cost with two bottles of wine was 170 between two couples. Great value, great food, great atmosphere, great service. Well-done and thank you... Dean

Myself and my friend made a late reservation in Da Vinci's. The service is fantastic. The servers couldn't have been more helpful and attentive. The owner gave some excellent recommendations.I ordered the calamari and spaghetti carborana. The portions were generous and it was very tasty. Couldn't recommend Da Vinci's enough if you are looking for some high-quality, fresh, authentic Italian.

This is one of my favourite restaurants. The food is amazing along with the service. Atmosphere is really relaxed and it feels like you in an authentic Italian restaurant. Cocktails are brilliant, especially expresso martinis. Would definitely recommend.

It was so good to be in a restaurant again and there was no better way to start than by staying in my hometown of Hornchurch and continue to Support Local businesses by having an Italian sunday lunch at Da Vinci's. This restaurant really has got its feet but on the ground in the last year which is due to owner Craig and his team. They serve really good Italian food and along with the very friendly service makes this restaurant a great place to visit. Our dining experience this time was equally as good as our previous visits. When we arrived we were given the usual friendly welcome before we were shown to our table. It was also at this time that owner and chef Craig come over to personally thank us for coming back before continuing to have a chat about how things have been during these tough times that we've all been going through. We ordered a bottle of Verdicchio while we looked at the menu. We started with some bread and olives before moving on to our first course. These were the Tomato , Basil & Mozzarella Arancini with a chilli tomato sauce and the Polpette which are Italian meatballs. We then moved on to our mains where we enjoyed the Pollo Alla Milanese which is chicken covered in breadcrumbs then fried and placed on to of a tomato based spaghetti. We also chose the Calves Liver & Bacon with onion gravy and creamy mash. Both dishes were absolutely delicious. After a little rest it was time to finish with dessert. For this we chose the Lemon Sorbet and also the Pecan Tart with Chocolate Sauce and where I'm happy to say that both were a delight. We finished with a coffee and a quick chat with Craig who came out to ask if everything was good to which we were very happy to say that it was. I would highly recommend a visit to this restaurant and look forward to many more visits myself in the future

I love dining at Da Vinci’s and have really missed it being open due to Covid-19. But they are now offering takeaways so I took my own dish down to the restaurant and they prepared a lasagne for me to take home and cook in my oven which was really quick and easy! Thank you ! :)

We had a delicious and very reasonably priced meal here, we would highly recommend and definitely worth trying and bypassing the local chain restaurants. Delicious Italian food served well with excellent service.

My mum and I visited on a Tuesday evening. The atmosphere was nice and relaxed. The gentleman serving was lovely and the food was simple but very nice. We will definitely return.

I know saturday night in any restaurant is busy but an hour for a starter and 45 mins after for a main is pushing it, though the waiting staff didn't seem to think it's a problem.Food and atmosphere was great but if they can't sort the slow service out, I for one won't be going back

Have never been disappointed coming here. The staff are polite, and the food is amazing. Have tried a fair few dishes on the menu now and brought my family to celebrate my nans birthday. She has a gluten allergy and was accomodated for with no fuss. Will deffinately be coming back here.

Friendly staff, decent Sunday Roast with a nice atmosphere.Been there before it was re-branded and I'm slightly baffled why t seems less popular than other local competitors, as always had a decent meal with nice staff, perhaps speed of drinks service could be improved upon, but that is only a minor gripe and I will return.

I visited this restaurant as I had seen it before and was going out for drinks in hornchurch, so it seemed ideal. I was worried due to it being christmas eve that I would not get a booking. Surprisingly it was not busy at all, which I'm not sure why because its lovely! From the Christmas decorations, the staff and the food I can not make any complaints. We ordered some breads to share and calamari to start, but when ordering the waiter suggested the arancini (check the menu), which I thought it was cheeky he was up selling us, but I'm so glad he did, they were to die for. Then for mains I had the sea bream, the fish was cooked to perfection, although it does just come on a bed of spinach so just as a heads up, order a side. I will definitely be returning.

Nice meal, the foundations for a great restaurant are there. Good food combined with friendly and attentive - but not that knowledgeable - waiting staff. A decent Italian restaurant in Hornchurch, hurrah! I will be back.A starter of bruschetta was fine, did what it said on the menu. My date declared her calamari the best she has had in years. Light batter and not chewy.A main of sea bream on spinach was well cooked. Crispy skin and firm, succulent fish. Nicely seasoned with just the right amount of salt and garlic. A side of potatoes in a tomato sauce showed potential, in terms of the sauce that is. In my humble opinion it could be enhanced by sauteeing the spuds first though and making the sauce a little richer through olive oil, herbs and even a touch of worcestershire sauce and sugar(sorry I know this isn't very Italian )My date's vongole was well received. Al dente pasta (perfect), lots of clams, but a splash more white wine would help balance off the rich garlic essence that ran through it. Onto dessert. My sticky toffee pudding was awesome. Soft, springy, sweet and rich. Oh yes! Custard was good but a thinner creme anglaise would have smashed it out of the park. My date's toffee apple crumble wasn't so good. Needed more toffee in the appl and crunch in the crumble. Wine selection was decent and well priced. The menu isn't extensive but I do think that's a good thing, and they do daily specials (none on when we went though).

We chose DaVinci for our work Christmas party. We had pre ordered our food as we were a large (12) party. The quality of the food was superb and the portion size was very generous. All the staff were friendly and efficient.

Had a reasonable meal here. Perfectly acceptable but a bit pricey, we paid nearly £80 for two starters, one lasagne and two mains. Only had water to drink. The manager was very polite but the place lacked atmosphere. More suited for a quick lunch than an evening out.

I dined here recently and there have definitely been some improvements. The food was excellent. Just a few Improvements that, in my opinion, should be made, in order to make this restaurant even better, if not perfect!

The last time we visited this establishment was about four years ago under the old name of Fratelli's which used to be a fantastic Italian restaurant. Then one day things changed and the restaurant was never the same. Recently we saw that the name had changed to Da Vinci and upon reading the reviews which the majority were pretty good we wanted to visit at our earliest opportunity. This as it happens turned out to be on Sunday as we were in the mood for Italian. The thing was when we arrived when we was told that they now only serve a Sunday Roast menu until five o'clock when the full menu is available. We dithered for a minute which gave manager Giovanni the chance to tell us how good the roasts were so we decided to put him to the test and stayed. This as you'll see turned out to be a good decision. There was actually quite a nice selection with a choice of five starters , three choices of roasts , one fish and one vegetarian dish. There were only two desserts on the menu but they did have other choices if you asked. We also thought the price of 3 Courses for £20.95 was very good value and as it turned out it was excellent value for money.
We started with the Classic Prawn Cocktail and the Fried Calamari with Garlic Mayonnaise. Both dishes were very good and a great way to star. It was then time to finish with dessert and chose the two that were on the menu. These were Toffee Apple Crumble with custard and the Sticky Toffee Pudding. Both were an absolute treat. We finished with a coffee to bring to an end a fabulous Sunday Lunch where the food was very good and matched with nice friendly service. It's so nice to have a place in my hometown of Hornchurch where you can enjoy a great roast dinner in a nice relaxed atmosphere. We will definitely be back to enjoy another delightful roast and will now also look to visit so we can try their full menu

We enjoyed our starter, but were both unhappy with our mains, mine was a trio of mediteranian veg, but only included 2 of the 3 veg listed on the menu. He went for a lasagne thinking it was a safe bet being Italian but found it covered in too much sickly cheese sauce. When I asked about my main with the veg, I was told there’s a small bit in the middle - there wasn’t!

Been here a few times and the food is always very good. It's a relaxed atmosphere and it's fast becoming my favourite place. We had sunday roast this time and my party had pork, beef and turkey. All cooked to perfection. During the week they serve traditional Italian cuisine and I recommend the orange polenta cake! It's to die for x

Great food and service.. waiters were very helpful and friendly. After this Restuarant ( under different names/owners ) having gone through a few difficult years... it really good to see it’s now back to producing great Italian food again. Back to one of our favourite restaurants in Hornchurch this time for a cosy candlelit dinner for two. We love the fresh ingredients that are cooked to perfection. We love the atmosphere & we love the service.

Lovely food. Reasonable price. Pleasant staff. Good atmosphere. Love the music too. Didn’t have one but cocktails looked good.

Was able to get a table for 3 on Saturday evening without booking in advance. Food was absolutely lovely. We all enjoyed our pasta meals. Although the restaurant was very busy the service was very good. Definitely go back again.

Second time we have been and second tome o felt compelled to write another review. We took our Nan this time and in her words “it was the best lasagna she had ever eaten.” This place doesn’t get enough recognition. The staff are amazing, the food is amazing and we will definitely be coming back again. A real gem in Hornchurch.

We were really lucky that space could be found for the 3 of us because they were really busy and we hasn't booked a table.

I was recommended by my son to come here as he is a regular! So glad I did the service and food was excellent Giovanni was so so attentive to our needs, I have been to some high end restaurants in my time this was amazing! I would definitely recommend the sea bream will be going back again soon.

My friends and I had a really lovely lunch here - the food was honestly incredible, the service excellent and the price fair. Super lovely host. So glad I know about this place on my doorstep now! So nice to have somewhere independent amongst the sea of chains.

Went here with a group of friends for a birthday party, about 15 in total. The food was great, not been to an Italian for a while and they did not disappoint. All round good, the service was friendly and polite and food came ou in good time and not rushed, we sent about 3 hours there. would go back again.

We booked Da Vinci's for a family 60th birthday celebration. The venue isn't massive but they managed to seat our large gathering very comfortably. The food was out of this world delicious! I can especially recommend the pork belly. Absolutely mouth-watering. A children's menu is also available for small tummies. The bar is also well stocked, with a good range of wines and cocktails.

This was our first visit to this restaurant, the food was excellent and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. I will definitely visit again

We did a walk in on a Sunday whilst walking through town. There was 7 of us, service was good. Food was so lovely and much better than the chains opposite. Price was very reasonable with drinks. Will definitely return.

We had to wait 45mins for our starters to arrive and it was only after initially waiting 30 mins that we were told it’s coming.

My boyfriend and I came in here a few weeks ago and it was wonderful. The service was kind and attentive. The food was also brilliant particularly the duck cassoulet admittedly not very Italian. My one qualm was that the calamari batter had been over salted

My Husband & I visted Da Vinci's with my parents for the first time since the new owners took over, great restaurant with friendly & knowledgeable staff. Superb quality authentic Italian food all freshly cooked & served piping hot. Great service & very good value for money.

4 of us just had a great lunch here. The food was delicious and well presented. The prices were very reasonable too. We would certainly come back again.

The food here is very good, the ambiance nice and the service second to none. The pizzas are all fresh and delicious and the price is reasonable. The restaurant has a nice authentic old charm. I would recommend this restaurant.

This was our first time at the new Da Vinci's and we were very impressed. We ordered lasagna and it was delicious! Very rich and high quality (a lot of the chain restaurants cheapen out on ingredients and produce watered down versions).The staff were so friendly and went beyond what was expected. We were given free starter of olives and a free salad with our mains. A lovely restaurant!

A traditional family run restaurant, with a great atmosphere. Some of the best Italian food I have tasted for a while . Fresh, cooked with real passion, a good choice from the menu, not forgetting the specials of the day. The staff are friendly and welcoming what more could you ask for. Last night was our 7th visit to the restaurant in the heart of Hornchurch and we are very much looking forward to returning

We visited Da Vinci's today for the first time since the change of owners and were really impressed. Giovanni and Veronica were lovely hosts and made us feel very welcome. Our meals were delicious and came out piping hot, you could tell that all the ingredients were freshly sourced. We will definitely be returning and wouldn't hesitate to recommed to anyone.

Da Vinci's is the reincarnation of Osteria Du Frattelli which I was extremely fond of during its glory days! In recent years it went down hill with a change in management & owner but I can fortunately say it is now very much on the up!

I love Italian food and this really exceeded my expectations. I really can’t fault this restaurant. The menu is small, which I think is good as the standard of food is very high. I ordered a dish off the menu and asked for chicken to be added. Which they did for me. Generous portions, amazing flavour and perfect service. This will be my new favourite place to eat at. Please try it you will not be disappointed.

We have been to Da Vinci's several times now and it has never disappointed. This restaurant has changed hands but is struggling to shake the poor reputation of its predecessor which many of the reviews on here refer to-ignore them and go here!! So much nicer than all the chains taking over hornchurch.

The Restaurant managed very well as there was about 20 of us in the party. We did not have to wait long and the food was lovely and hot. The portions were generous. The desserts were lovely especially the meringue. I would recommend this Restaurant.

Four of us had a great meal, didn’t have to wait too long between courses. The only negative was that on asking for another bottle of red wine, the waiter just dumped it on our table in passing, didn’t open or pour it! Everything was well presented and hot.

We were a party of 6, the service was amazing. The staff are very attentive to their guests they take time to get to know you and make sure everything is perfect. This restaurant has had a dramatic positive change. The menu is simple and effective. Each of us commented on the superb presentation and taste of the food. The side orders are plentiful and fresh and delicious.

Third visit under new management. Relaxed and cosy. Food fantastic. Pasta and calamari as starters and pizza and duck for main with a couple of side dishes. Best potatoes I have ever tasted. Pizza crispy and delicious. Will definitely go again.

After an initial meal for two we returned for a family meal this month. Da Vinci has a great atmosphere and the waiters are very attentive. We love the roasted pork on a bed of fennel & highly recommend it.

Fairly regular visitors who had established a good relationship with Giovanni.Cant put a finger on it but this visit not so enjoyable as previous.Italian background music had me singing all the old favourites but, as with other restaurants there comes a time when you have tried all your favourite dishes and struggle to find something new.Getting rather tired of the standard three veg offering which accompanies most dishes and would welcome a change.

This was a delightful restaurant to spend an evening for two. The menu has a good variety of food to choose from, there are some particularly good wines to accompany meals, and the owner/waiting staff are straightforward and friendly.
