No complaints from me! The food was delicious and importantly it was nice and hot. I used to be a chef in a 5* Marriott hotel and I enjoyed the meal. These are just some constructive comments for you to consider: * Just a tiny little bit of greenery in the form of some salad leaves etc, served with the calamari would be a beautiful touch. The calamari itself was wonderful but… Very ”same-ish” and repetitive. Just break it up a bit with something else (a tiny amount) on the plate. It’s an £8 starter approx and you can do that without massively denting your £ margins. * the seabass main dish that we both had… We thought was fantastic… So well done to chef Luke! Personally, I also appreciate the generous touch of providing me with a few more potatoes. I am a one diabetic and I know when I looked at the plate having injected, the very small amount of potatoes that were originally provided would not be enough for me…. So again I appreciate our lovely waitress Liga and Chef Luke combining to bring a more normal portion of the same potato dish so that I could eat it with my meal. * Finally we were first seated in a booth… But unfortunately this was right underneath one of the speakers that played music. I asked the first waitress that had seated us if the music could be turned down. She told me that unfortunately she had no control over the music level. I think this needs to be changed as in the end we had to be moved… Music should be distinctly in the background and not invading your meal experience.It was too loud and also in my opinion not gentle but way too lively… We had come for a meal not to a nightclub! These are just constructive feedback points that I hope you will take in the spirit that they are intended. Our waitress was Liga. Now she is an absolute asset to your company… she went out of her way to accommodate us helped us to move tables when the music was too loud and sourced the extra potatoes for me for my main course. What I liked about Lea was that she treated us like individuals… Not just a number. She was personable and professional throughout a great ambassador for Zizzi And she deserves to be recognised for this. She made the meal experience the best it could be. Thanks Liga from Latvia 😂 The food tasted great. I’ve only given three stars rating to the atmosphere as the music didn’t help and there was I think only two other tables in the whole restaurant with us so it was a neutral atmosphere during that time. One word - poor . WeTurn up and there were no more than 4 tables in the whole restaurant that had people on . Was told only taking people who have booked today so we go on the app and book a table for 15 mins later . After some eye rolling between the staff they said that we could sit down but there would be a long wait for food . The way this was handled was extremely poor. You may have well just shut the restaurant as you def were not making any money that day . This zizzi used to be so good ! Really gone down hill .

Kacper was a delightful young man with impressive manners and respect, we were only having a look but decided to stay!

We had a lovely lunch with two young and quite tired children in tow - the staff were really helpful and friendly. Thank you to Steffy for such great service!

Pizza was soggy and not cooked enough

I just received the pizza Primavera take away, but tomatoes and peppers are missing. Plus all the ingredients are on one side maybe because of the transport.

Zizzis Romford is lovely. We were sat immediately and Liga our waitress was exceptional and she made sure we were looked after. Her service was outstanding and she recommended some delicious dishes for us to try. Food was hot and came quickly. I would definitely come again thanks to the service.

Absolutely stunning place in all aspects, The staff, especially our waiter, Liga, we're an absolute joy whilst our food was being prepared and did a stunning job to ensure our stay was as welcoming as possible. After receiving our food we we're delighted at just how fresh and delicious it was. The "Rustica Black Mushroom and Salami" was our choice for the day and it sure delivered, the crust was so thin and crispy you'd be crazy to not include it in every bite. Not to mention the atmosphere of the restraunt was just as great. I highly recommend the Zizzi at Romford for families, couples or even on your own as it is very welcoming and comforting.

0 stars, I advise you never ever go there. No service whatsoever, had to leave after waiting for almost half an hour for someone to come and take our order, although others were served even though they came way after us. A useless manager and a useless waiter who looked like she didn’t want to be there. No wonder their restaurants are always almost empty😆 good reviews are from paid local guides or people who have very low expectations of hospitality service 🤡

Had a really lovely meal at Zizzi’s yesterday evening. Our waitress Keri went above and beyond for us. I’m gluten free and she catered for me perfectly and was clued up on allergens and what I could and couldn’t eat. Even reassured me that the chef was ensuring everything was safe before he prepared my meal. The food was great. We can’t wait to return. Thanks Keri!

I recently visited Zizzi in Romford with my family, and I must say, it was a delightful experience. The menu at Zizzi offers a wide variety of dishes, catering to different tastes and dietary preferences. We started with the garlic bread and bruschetta, both of which were delicious and perfectly cooked. For our main courses, I had the risotto with mushrooms and my husband opted for the pizza with prosciutto and rocket. The risotto was creamy and flavorful, while the pizza was cooked to perfection with a thin, crispy crust and generous portions of toppings. The service at Zizzi was attentive and friendly, with our server checking in on us regularly to ensure that we had everything we needed. The waiting time for our food was reasonable, and our dishes were served hot and fresh. One thing that stood out about Zizzi was their commitment to using fresh, quality ingredients in their dishes. This was evident in the taste and presentation of our meals. After our first visit to Zizzi, we raised some suggestions to the management and to our surprise, the management was responsive and did exceptionally well to make reasonable adjustments and excellent customer service. Much kudos to the manager for talking to us during our second visit. Overall, I would highly recommend Zizzi in Romford to anyone looking for a delicious meal in a warm, inviting atmosphere. The food, service, and ambiance all contributed to a memorable dining experience that I would definitely repeat in the future.

Horrendous! Ignored by staff, 20 min wait for starter, then hour wait for main of which one came up cold - after complaining they then guess what did it again. 30 min wait for dessert! Whole restaurant complaining Manager should be sacked!

Came this evening around 6:30pm, we were one of two tables when we arrived. Took ages before we were actually served. Then starters and drinks arrived promptly. Then waited a bit longer and our mains came out whilst we still had starter plates not cleared. They forgot half of our order and only when prompt did they question if we actually received it before realising it was their fault. My daughter had finished her pizza before her chips had come out and they was burning hot and we weren’t warned about it either, they were just given straight to her (she has multiple additional needs and wouldn’t have known herself either!). We ended up cancelling one of our sides as they forgot them AGAIN after the other two had come. Both FOH staff had disappeared whilst we sat for almost 30 minutes with no one collecting our plates, asking if we wanted desserts, or anything else. Chef was on his phone for the duration of this and was calling for service with no one coming out. Considering in the end we was one of four tables - these complaints shouldn’t of needed to be shared as there was excuse to not be more attentive to customers.

Unfortunately, The past two visits ive experienced very long waits. As we sat to order we wasnt informed of what wasnt available from the menu. After making a decision on what to order i was then informed that the salmon wasnt available. When i ordered the arancini it the server apparently heard cheese and onion...nothing on the menu says cheese and onion. we watched diners sit to order only to walk out because of the wait. We did consider doing the same because of the wait last time. Arancini balls x3... 1 was overcooked and didnt have much filling at all. Its a real shame 😔 The manageress deserves a medal, she worked so hard bless her

Wasn’t a great greeting on arrival. Obviously short staffed but waitress was unfriendly and not that professional until it came to paying the bill! Food wasn’t its usual tasty self

When i came in there was just one chef and one person on the floor, and they both did an amazing job, food lovely, quick service and good atmosphere. The lady who served us was called Louise, i didnt get the chefs name.

Food was very tasty and our waitress Keri was amazing, she was very helpful and worked very well under pressure taking care of all of our needs. A big shout out to the chef fatjoua prawns with garlic sause was amazing and so were our Pizzas.

Probably one of the best waitresses we got to be served by - a young, lovely girl (Keri) with a genuine smile who made sure we were not missing anything . We were promptly seated despite the Father’s Day crowd and limited number of tables left. The food was delicious (as it always is :) ) . Great food today in Zizzis for lunch with the Mrs and great service from Steffy. 10/10 all round.

Very short staffed and busy today being fathers day, stuffy was attentive trying to serve so many tables well done to all that was working.

Booked a table for dinner for Father’s day .. we usually going to zizzi in st Katherine docks and we love food and service there .. but because we live in Romford decided to book table here as is local , And that was my biggest mistake ever ! We have been waiting 22 minutes for someone to actually come to us and take an order . Let me mention that restaurant wasn’t busy at all . Half full. Starter arrived after 20 min . Main course arrived after 40 min we finished our starter . Starter was ok , but main food was extremely disgusting . My daughters spaghetti was watery and tasteless , my husbands lasagne was burned and my chicken pasta was swimming inside oil ! This is our usually food we order in different zizzi and always is perfect . This food today was horrible ! Also we tried to order more drinks but been ignored 3 times . Till I finally stoped another waitress and ask her for a drinks . Such a horrible experience for my husband ! We tried to have a good time in that special day but let’s be honest with that kind of experience it’s so hard to have a good time . I definitely DO NOT recommend this place and will never come back here . I learn my lesson and just gonna continue go to zizzi in different area .

The amazing chef Fatjona cooks the most delicious pizza 🍕 I would definitely recommend going to Zizzi when she's working 10/10

We went to eat on a busy Wednesday night - was welcomed and assisted by Keri who was very pleasant and accomodating. We had the food quite later than expected but understandable since there were only 2 chefs to work on a busy dinner rush. Food was great and great work on Chefs Ridvan and Faljona! Just expecting more from the the wagyu meatball dish. But we enjoyed the food in general! Will comeback

I had a fantastic time at Zizzi Romford with my family. Lisa, our server, truly elevated our experience with her exceptional service. Her politeness and excellent hospitality were truly commendable. Farjona and Ridvan crafted the most delicious pizza and pasta for my family. Their hard work and dedication made our dining experience incredibly enjoyable, and we are already looking forward to returning soon. A big thank you to all of you for your outstanding efforts.

On Saturday 8th June, my boyfriend and I went for dinner and decided on Zizzi's. It was an amazing choice. The service was quick and friendly. The lady, Fatjona (I hope I spelt that correctly), who made my Calzone Pollo Spinaci did an absolutely beautiful job. I had a horrible day at work and her food truly made my day. We will definitely be coming back.

My boyfriend and I came here for a casual dinner after work. We were met at the door instantly and sat down, and the waiter was very friendly and attentive. I decided on the Calzone Pollo Spinaci. The lady making the food called Fatjona, did an amazing job. It tasted even better than I imagined it would when seeing it on the menu, and her hard work truly showed itself in her food. She completely made my day :)

A lovely visit, tasty food and drinks, wonderful service as always! We came along at a nice quiet time and were seen to really well, thank you so much Liga!.

The worst place i have ever been to. They made us wait for so long even with no rush, not just us but there were others we could see who were waiting at the door after we sat down and no one attended them. Tables were literally empty. Only 1 chef working, service was extremely slow next to no service at all. We waited nearly an hour for our order and it still didn’t come so eventually we decided to leave as it was taking them too long. Really disappointed specially as this was our first time at zizi’s. Never coming back to this restaurant again. No wonder they are losing customers when the service is this bad.

i think the waitress we had (keri) was so fun and lovely to us and made the wait less long but it was kind of long in the end but it didnt take away from the taste of the food xx

Ordered on just eat, waited for 2 hours and only to be told order was cancelled almost at 9pm. If you can't find a driver or too busy to fulfill the order, why don't you cancel ASAP? Will never go back again.

Had a great time with my son's 3rd birthday at this Zizzi. Allergy questions were dealt with professionally & they catered well for him. We had a lot of space for our 20 guests & Keri did a lot to help keep everything running smoothly. Would recommend for a future party.

Massively understaffed for lunch which spoiled the experience. Looking at other reviews the wait times seem a common problem, so will avoid in future. 1 server working, 1 person working in the kitchen - 3 other staff were there but they sat in the corner on their laptops the entire time we were there (managers presumably, but either way not a good look when the restaurant is clearly struggling to keep up). Shared starter was good but then we waited 30+ mins for this to be taken away and our mains arrived just under 2 hours after we had arrived, which were both poor. Careful if coming for lunch as we ended up leaving approaching 4pm.

So after our second visit - first time we can we didn’t dine because we were waiting for 25 minutes to be approached and a lot of the people had empty tables. So not sure why I went for a second time. I’m a regular customer at Hornchurch and other branches around central London but never experiences such poor service and inedible food! Kerry the assistant manager offered me a refund I didn’t think she meant it but thank box we received our refund! She did promise me once over the phone too after their staff got my online order wrong 2 times! new manager doesn’t want to change or swap anything because of stock inventory but only gets rid of an item. All the tables again were waiting for food with many people walking out. I had to approach the young girl/waitress for crayons who has absolutely no manners and calls me “oh my lovely” and was trying to teach me and test me - when I said oh I’m a regular customer I know about your kids meals and the baby/toddler meals. She didn’t want to believe me? Honestly I feel sorry for 5he person who owns this zizzi they also seem to prioritise take away more.

Never Go here! Don’t even dine in! I would give no stars if u could. Seriously and this waitress Kerry always promises people of refunds via head office she’s a liar and the service is horrible you way 20minutes to be seated! No one approaches you and then another 15 minutes for someone to take your order and then the starters come so late another 1 hour! After another hour food came she should have just left! So many people leaving food is terrible too! They also focus on takeaway biggest mistake ebener and a terrible Sunday we didn’t finish our food and it was cold !!!left outside we could see our food from far!!!!

Food was not bad quality....when it finally arrived! Waited 45 minutes for our starter, had to rush mains to get to film we booked. Waitress seemed overwhelmed even though restaurant was half empty, may have been her first day as seemed to get lots wrong for other customers around us and took ages to put orders through on the system! Also had to ask to move tables as sat in the middle section and door constantly left open so sat in freezing cold draft! Not returning anytime soon.

Such poor service and very understaffed. A prawn skewer took 50 minutes and was standing on the counter for ten minutes until someone decided to bring it over to us. Waited for a chicken salad and pasta for 1 hour. Don’t recommend coming here. Very overpriced food for the Kitchen staff touches food with bare hands such as pasta and salad and no untensils. Ridiculous place sort it out !!!!

Just wanna take a moment to explain how wonderful my experience was. Wasn’t expecting much, just a quick bit of grub before a film bit blimey! The service alone was exceptional, let alone the food being cooked to perfection. We were served by a lovely lady named Kerri who I can honestly say, is the best waitress I’ve ever been served by in all my 54 years no wonder she’s assistant manager! I had a beef ragu, wasn’t thinking it’ll be all that but it was lovely. Will definitely be going back.
