Very friendly staff Good food. Great with children

Great food and the gentleman that served us was super friendly

I came here with a friend for dinner a week ago. The staff were friendly and we were seated quickly. They had the front all opened as it was warm which was a nice effect. We had their set menu which was a very good price.We tried some of their new dishes however we were a little disappointed. The nduja bombe was a lot more spicy than expected and there was not really any sausage in there. In-between our starter and main we let a staff member know we were heading out as my friend wanted to vape. When we arrived back shortly after, our mains were already on the table, and only half hot. I personally think it should have been kept in the kitchen until we were back at our table. We were also not offered any parmesan topping as they did to other tables. The crispy prosciutto carbonara was ok. My friend had the beef & chianti Ragu, she was unfortunately not impressed and thought it tasted like a leftover beef roast. The dessert, a baked lemon cheesecake and brownie we both enjoyed a lot. We have had better experiences here before and we will come again, I just feel the service this time could've been better.

Having visited last year, thought it would be nice to invite 10 friends. Considering it was only us at 1.00pm Saturday 10/08/24..the service was abysmal..slow, took ages, the service wasn't great either. Then, they messed up with the final bill. I won't be going there again anytime soon. The only thing I enjoyed was the Skewered king Prawn starter and the cheesecake. The pizza was very bland sadly. Then halfway through, they decided to offer salt and pepper. Not a great service I'm sad to say.

All delivery services are bad, and everyone is ignoring delivery drivers.

My wife was attracted to your restaurant because of the advertising material outside your restaurant and we had a lovely meal. But then I went to pay and I was surprised to discover that your don't accept CASH. I'm afraid we wont be back.

Zizzi Beckenham had top class service. Nice ambience. Shame about the flys. But our service was top notch.

Food was tasteless, insipid, needed lots of salt, pepper and cheese. Could've done better at home. Our server was sweet but hardly any attention as she was run off her feet. Need more staff. Won't be coming back.

Visited for lunch, good food options, including low calorie options, I don’t really think the portion size/quality of the food was fully representative of the price (or staffing levels) but it was a pleasant enough lunch. However, really felt sorry for the waitress as she was the only member of staff there, with about 10 tables of people. This made us reluctant to order anything else as we could see how busy she was and how hard she was working, (I don’t know how these big companies would expect 1 person to do so much? - shame on them). She was very polite and kind, I hope she doesn’t have to share her tips because she was the one putting all the work in (I would’ve given 5 stars for service if our waitress had another member of staff to share the work load with, because we would’ve ordered more and stayed longer).

Came here after a long day at the park. Everything was great, minus having to wait for the kids food after the adults had arrived.

Came here for lunch on a weekday and it was empty. Plenty of seats in the heart of Beckenham High street. The service was quick and the waitress was friendly. The Margherita pizza was nice and a good size. Similar to Pizza express in regard to prices being moderate. All in all a nice lunch/dinner place

I visited today and Ben was our waiter and he was really nice. Very welcoming and friendly to my son. It's makes such a difference when eating out with a child. Unfortunately the food wasn't very nice. I ordered a zucca salad. It was missing loads of ingredients that were listed and it didnt look anything like the picture. Very disappointed. The person I was with was disappointed with their meal too. The children's menu is nice with lots of small things to keep your child interested.

Waiter was very welcoming and attentive. He made my young grandson very welcome. The chicken milanese appeared and tasted overprocessed. The zucca salad was very basic & did not contain all the ingredients listed on the menu.

Personally I wouldn't go back. The restaurant was empty you would expect quick service not the case, we waited ages and when our meal came it wasn't hot. 2 dishes had to be sent back. The mocktails weren't much better we had to add lemonade to give them any tasted. While the charge was taken off the bill, I would have preferred not having to wait for the food to be done over. Chief get your act together!!

Of course it’s a chain but the Bowie decor, the nice atmosphere and the very good welcome make you want to come back

Pleasantly surprised by our first visit to Zizzi Beckenham restaurant. Outside seating slightly higher than street level to catch the evening sun was warming. Lovely welcome, good food (actually served hot). Service was fast and our waitress Kenny was polite and attentive. Would go again and recommend.

Went in for a quick meal, thought you couldn’t go wrong with Zizzi. Not expecting much, just hope it would be decent. Staff was nice. I sat down and ordered. 15 minutes later it arrived. Good speed I thought. Quick enough to satisfy my hunger, but not too quick to show they were just heating it up. As my anticipation grows, a plate of watery, sad and bland pseudo carbonara was placed in front of me. I didn’t know what to make of it. I was confused, was this made by someone who hasn’t had pasta before, or are they just sad? Do they hate food? I digged in, hoping my hunger will mask some of the unpleasant hints that this plate is suggesting to me. It didn’t help. I could see a shallow pond of watery soup lingering between the soft spaghetti. No sign of the standard eggyness. The saltiness and oil aroma that was meant to be provided by the meat (in this Zizzi version, Chorizo) is non existent. The waitress brought over a slice of parmagiano. What a save. I was determined to finish it off. I succeeded. With the sad situation we are facing with high street retail, I hope a bit more attention can be put back into the food. Otherwise more will be closed down.

Came in tonight with my boyfriend, and Ben was an absolutely amazing waiter!! Very attentive, recommended the passion fruitini (and it was delicious) and a funny guy. Will definitely come back for his service!

We visited for Sunday lunch. The food was mainly mediocre - bland and lacking in any real taste. Except that is for the courgette fritti which was mainly lumps of batter. We ate a few but didn’t finish them and mentioned this to the waitress who seemed unbothered by this. Disappointing to see this inedible item still added to our bill. The service was uneven - items were forgotten or the incorrect item was delivered. Overpriced for the quality of the food.

Like most chains, you can see that they put profit before quality. This Zizzi has rapidly gone downhill.

Had a great quick lunch at Zizzi Beckenham. Was greeted at the door and shown to a table straight away with our drink order taken. When our drinks were brought over we were able to get our food ordered quickly too. I had a great bruschetta (plenty of tomatoes and pesto!) with a lentil ragu.

I have left some good reviews over the years for zizzis but now sadly I just wouldn’t bother.It seems a new staff have taken over and are disinterested to say the least. After a 15 minute wait in a deserted restaurant 530 pm ( not hard to see why) we actually walked out. I used to love this place when it had a largely Romanian workforce who seemed to care about service and customer care. Such a shame we won’t revisit after going for 15 years. We have up and went to Branded for superior food and service.

Staff were really friendly but really slow. Pizzas were really nice however the Wagyu Meatball Arrabbiata was really dry.

Food was amazing! Good size portions and reasonably priced! Would have been an awesome experience all round however - we found our waitress was in no way warm or courteous towards us. Now, we're not looking for a full blown conversation or, for all of her attention to be on us, but witnessing her demeanour change from friendly to other guest and then rather cold to us, left us feeling like we had done something or said something wrong. We were never asked if everything was okay; we were never asked if we wanted any more drinks; we had to ask for if we could order dessert and be given a menu, despite our son being on the set course kids meal. The desserts came whilst my wife had taken my son to the toilet - which is of course fine, however I do take issue with the way the waitress put the Ice cream for my son on the table and left abruptly, without even a look, or waiting to hear if I had any other requests, or even just for me to say thank you. At the end of the meal we had not asked for the bill but, the waitress came over with the payment terminal and asked for our vouchers. We were never told how much the meal was or given a paper copy of the bill. We were also never given the chococino that should have been part of the set kids meal. When paying, the waitress took the terminal away twice too quickly which resulted in failed payments. When she did finally leave the terminal in position long enough for the payment to go through, she again left abruptly not waiting for us to say thank or even say goodbye. We didn't even get a final receipt nor were we asked if we wanted one. As I said, food was amazing! Great vegan and non vegan options. The rainbow lasagne was incredible! But, it is sad to say that the whole experience was marred by the service of this waitress, whom we feel seemed to take issue with us, although I hope that this is not the case. Other staff members appear to be friendly towards us, so it really left us baffled. Such a shame as we usually go to another restaurant down the road from here and fancied a change. Unfortunately we won't be coming back anytime soon.

The food seemed like it had just come out of the microwave. The sort of pre-made meal from a supermarket. Service was good very attentive. Desert and coffee were the only nice things about the place.

Been here couple of times, always nice. Today, all sorts of trouble. Pasta really dry, almost no sauce on it at all, without proper taste. My husband’s pizza only had shades of chicken. The calamari starter not well done, they were still raw. Kids pizza not the usual size, really small. Poor customer service. Careless, not taking care of the table. Making mistakes with order. Not happy. Won’t come back.

I went to this restaurant for my birthday. I was very disappointed with the service and their food. It was tasteless and the service was terribly slow. I had to ask repeatedly for water after eating chilli cheese garlic bread which was way too spicy (and I am Indian so that’s says it all!). Finally water came but no glasses so I had to wait another 15 minutes just for the glasses. Cocktails are overpriced and watered down. You are paying £10 just for a shot. All you have to do is go to the bar and ask for a cocktail without ice and wait for their response. Just ask them, how small the drink would be without ice. Food is definitely frozen not fresh. I had the bruschetta which was awful. Just dry bread with tomatoes and balsamic glaze which was too sweet. They didn’t even rub the extra virgin olive oil or garlic on the bread like they are suppose to. The chef needs to watch you tube videos to see how it’s really done. I had to send the rainbow lasagne back. as it came in a bowl floating with oil. The staff don’t know anything about the menu and the chef clearly don’t taste their food otherwise they would not bother sending that junk out to the customers. The worst birthday meal ever and I can honestly say that Zizzi Beckenham is the worst restaurant ever I have been to in my entire life sadly. Help! Please get Gordon Ramsey down to Zizzi’s immediately.😂

Had a lovely lunch,6 adults and a 1yr old, very attentive to the baby, food really good, maybe a little bit pricey but,all in all, excellent

Decent to dine in but not worth delivery. Got to say the zucchini fritters are always lovely. Thin and Crispy and not too oily. Actually taste nice everytime even when cold but can be sickly. Great portion size. Pizza when fresh is lovely and had good pasta when dining in. However ordering pasta dishes isn't good. Pizza can be reheated but pasta comes dry with gritty hard bits and chewy inedible pasta. Sauces aren't mixed. Hot and cold spots and taste is off. Even if u mix yourself. Personal advice is dine in. Ordering online then be careful. Not really worth ordering unless a deal is on and you'll have to reheat yourself anyway.

Only gave 1 star because I ave to or it would have been 0 … went in with a party of 9 friends birthday we decided to pick from set menu waited AGES for the waitress who had Slapped 😠A**e look on her face to take our order starter was nice “Calamari” then waited AGES AGAIN for main not good very thin base pizza some of the girls had burnt food…. Then was told by miserable waitress they shut at 10pm but we still wanted our desserts as we ordered from set menu…. Again took ages absolutely disgusting the way we were treated tried not to let it ruin friends birthday who had brought her own cake in … Erm even paying the bill was a nightmare Didn’t leave a tip and will NEVER come back to this one Bromley is much nicer …..

We had an amazing time at Zizzi's on Sunday evening...we didn't book but we still we were given a great spot. We were greeted with a smile and shown to our table as well as offered a drink right away! We had the rustica piccante and a pasta dish. The food was hot and delicious...definitely will be back 🙂

I love zizis my favourite ordered last night, what the he’ll have they done to the bruschetta????!!!! Very disappointed vinegar sauce all over absolutely drowned in it couldn’t believe it since when was this added! Never will order this again! So so sad

Disappointing meal for a celebration. The staff were rude and inattentive, and the food well I’ve eaten a lot better at other zizzi’s. They did have some gf options but no menu so had to cross reference with their allergen book. Lovely interior but would not return.

Absolute rubbish, possibly the worst meal I have ever had. Our waitress twice, yes twice, dropped drinks behind and on us. I ordered a Mezzo Manzo. Possibly the thinest base I have seen and the quantity of topping would fit into an egg cup with room to spare. Glass of red Merlot was ....... very poor. I woukd have complained but given we were with a group, just soaked it up. AVOID......

I had an exceptional dining experience the other day thanks to Ticiana serving us. Her attentiveness, genuine warmth, and impeccable service elevated our meal. She anticipated me and my husbands needs and made us feel truly welcomed. A standout professional who significantly enhanced our overall enjoyment. We ordered 2 pizzas and few drinks and the food was super tasty and well cooked, kudos to the chefs at Zizzi Beckenham. Kind regards, Alketa

I’ve been to Zizzi’s quite a few times in Bluewater and always had a lovely meal to decided to go to the Beckenham one before the cinema for a quick meal . The restaurant was quiet , it was midweek and awful weather . The service time was ok and the waitress was helpful . One of us had a Bruchetta and I had the ragu . The bread of the Bruchetta was cold and as I took a fork full of ragu from the middle of the bowl mine was also like warm in the middle . Both were sent back and the waitress very apologetic and embarrassed ( it wasn’t her fault ) . The new dish seemed hotter but that was more at one end , I’m not sure if this is heated in a microwave and not evenly heated . The Ragu wasn’t made with the normal wider pasta but with tortellini shaped pasta . The dish had no flavour at all luckily I had Clubcard vouchers to pay with as I’d of been reluctant to pay for what we had . The manager was apologetic when she could see what had happened but I can honestly say this was the worst meal I’ve ever had in a Zizzis and won’t go back there again

The food on this occasion was a little bland, the calamari slightly overcooked and the smoked salmon risotto was way too al dente for our liking. But I must commend the excellent customer service we received from our waitress Tatiyana, she asked if we enjoyed our meal, as she could see my husband had left most of the risotto. We commented about the risotto and with no fuss, automatically asked if he'd like to choose another dish. My husband ordered a Prawn pasta dish which he enjoyed and Tatiyana came to check that everything was OK. A credit to her it's been such a long time that we've recieved such professional no fuss customer service from waiting staff. Well done and thank you Tatiyana!

Food was tasty, portions were small, my lasagne was burnt at the bottom and was not enough for me... drink were a bit pricey. The service was very lovely and child friendly 😊

We visited here this evening for food and it was perfect. The service was spot on - everyone was so friendly and efficient with us - and the food was spot on - we had pasta (pomadoro and rainbow lasagne) and sides and we couldn’t fault any of it. The chefs did a fantastic job - whilst making so many meals at once. We are sorry to not remember our servers name but she was brilliant (we were sat in the middle left behind the bar). Thank you so much for making our visit so enjoyable and we will definitely be back soon!

I love Zizzi. I always go back to Beckenham one as it has a nice vibe. Food is always delicious and servixe is quick. Staff is very nice and always making sure ww have everything we need.

Lovely restaurant, in a lovely setting! Have been multiple times and the staff are always lovely and good with discussing allergens. The food is always good quality and they’re always adding new lovely dishes to the menu! I miss their Pina Colada Sundae, and Piccante cocktail, but they’re now doing a gorgeous Triple Chocolate and Marshmallows Sundae and a smoky Pinapple Spritz. Everything is always wonderful here, thank you Zizzi.

I used to be a regular client but for the past two years I had a feeling the quality of the food has been going down. Calamari were tasteless with an artificial dip, a plain mayo would do the work seriously. Pasta was warm only in the middle the edges were lukewarm. Nothing special. Can’t blame the service but the food is average.

Discusting service, I ordered seabass and arrive mini size half baby seabass filleted fish like kids size. (£17+) When I asked to the waitress why is a soo small portion , started talk about the time is tough and that what l they serve and told me that I can go to another place that they get served better then them . As even restaurant was almost empty by 7pm she was forced us toorder every other minute even we asked for time to see the menu. She also mentioned unfortunately she still work for the business, and never happy, soo how can unhappy staff serve customers and could make happy. Completely unprofessional team where I used to love to go . Lady supposed to be manager always behind the bar and having funny chat and laughing together with stuff and customer trying to dine on tables looking for waitresses to order or ask anything. What an amatory environment managed by careless people whchnmust be one of the biggest restaurants chain brushes. I have now understood why restaurant was empty. Never again waste my money at a olace like this

Had a voucher for Zizzi's for Christmas used it here, and so glad I did. The gluten free food was so clearly marked and so well presented. The waitress Klea was amazing so attentive but never imposing, her experience shone through and her accent was a beautiful compliment to the meal. We were given a pre meal snack, and the waitress assured me they were gluten free. It was so nice to feel so welcomed. A lovely meal and fairly priced. We'll done all of the staff here. Not all the food in the photos are gluten free. I can recommend the brownies absolutely marvellous. 100%

Pooped into the restaurant after 9pm but the staff still welcomed us Even though they shut at 10. As always an attentive fast service ,great food and decent size portions. Joanna the manager is great and the staff reflect her levels of service and customer care. Madeline our server who was helped by Romina we weren’t rushed and enjoyed our ,flying visit as much if it was a 2 hour one. We will visit again before xmas Great place and so glad it’s local

Hard to give a lower rating as we didn’t actually get to eat anything so being generous with an average rating. Arrived at 7:30 and had booked a table for three , we were shoved at the back of the restaurant next to 2 long tables with children running around Which obviously isn’t zizzi fault , it seems to have too many tables crammed in together. Waited 30 minutes to even be acknowledged and offered a drink , after being served We waited another 15 minutes and decided that as a lot of the food coming out looked cold we would take our chances and go and find someone else so we left. Waitress couldn’t find the gluten free menu so we had to look on our phones , would never return here.

Alot of parking right outside the store( pay -bays) huge restaurant and i would recommend this place ! I would also return gladly ! My recommendations for starters are too hard because they were all nice ( check the pics ) , mains: skinny pizza diavola with avacado ceasar saled 🤤 ( comes together). Fantastic ! I spent the Easter lunch with my parents here at Zizzi and I had a good experience. Food was good, we get a couple of starters and then I get the cannelloni crab and ricotta cheese if I remember correctly but unfortunately the main taste was lemon. Good service and staff!

Disgusting, staff come in sick and handle the food like this. Unsurprisingly all 5 of us are now sick as well. The waitress shouldn’t have been working and handling people’s food (and touching the pizza whilst cutting!) whilst ill.
