I recently had the pleasure of dining at Pierluigi's, and I must say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The ambiance of the restaurant was elegant and inviting, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that truly made me feel at home. The staff were attentive and friendly, providing top-notch service throughout the evening. But the real highlight of the evening was the food. Every dish was beautifully presented and bursting with amazing flavors. From the perfectly cooked pasta dishes to the succulent seafood, each bite was a delight for the taste buds. I must give a special mention to the wine selection at Pierluigi's. The sommelier was extremely knowledgeable and helped us select the perfect wine to complement our meal. Overall, I cannot recommend Pierluigi's enough. It is truly a gem of a restaurant that offers a dining experience that is second to none. I will definitely be returning soon for another unforgettable meal.

It's my new coffee pit stop . The staff is all top class this is a fine dining party place it's definitely also family orientated. This place is just the absolute best words can't describe it they only way is u have to try it to experience it . The food it amazing proper Italian food

Incredible food, amazing friendly staff and always a great atmosphere. Couldn't ask for anything else

Had our work party here, half the food didnt show up (what showed up was very nice). Set menu, no desert, bill was very expensive and told printer wasnt working so pay and we will email you a receipt, loads of drinks added at least £500 extra on our bill, questioned it and was told we had (and loved) our deserts. Asked for CCTV proof of any desert or shots (charged for alot of them), they refused. After doing abit of research this seems to be a regular trick they do. Please check your bills in detail, shame as its a lovely restaurant and food is very good normally.

went with three other friends for dinner and stayed for the DJ in the evening, food was amazing atmosphere and dancers was great. Service was a little slow to begin with but picked up once the restraunt got a bit busier. Only thing I would say is girls bathroom is small and with only two toilets you will be waiting a while if your going on a busy saturday eveving. The menu in the restraunt was also smaller than what is online, I had pretty much decided on what I was going to eat before I got there and it wasnt on the actual menu when we arrived.

What a Con this Place really is!!! The owners sells this Restaurant as a Fine Dine Restaurant??? This is an absolute JOKE!! By using fancy plates and offering what is assumed as fine dine Service! The public in the local area have No idea! A menu that has been used in London for over 40 years that is no better than a Trattoria. This venue is Polished up with a few fancy Cocktails and loud house Music! Tired looking Restaurant that is stuck in the 80s selling Apple Pie that is purchased from Makro Supermarket that you will get from any greesy spoon Cafe. However having said all the above if you love house music and a fake cheesy atmosphere and an abundance of money too throw in the bin this place certainly is for you! FINE DINE IT'S NOT A VERY EXPENSIVE TRATTORIA IT IS

Was with a party at this restaurant and was so crammed in you could hardly move. Paid £65 upfront for a 3 course meal. The starter was a sharing platter (between 4) but there wasn't enough of it. The main course (Ravioli) was very good. Did not receive a desert. The toilet facilities were shocking, with only two female toilets, no toilet paper and filthy dirty. Overall, very disappointing and far from value for money.

Fantastic Restaurant very Top Class we had a wonderful Evening. The lamb was to die for and the cocktails Wow 👌. The Staff are all on point and very Attentive they do not have a children's menu but they are more than happy to make the meals smaller for children which was very helpful. I will definitely be visiting again we enjoyed everything about Pierluigi's

I chose this restaurant based on positive reviews, but unfortunately, it fell short of expectations. Upon arrival, we were seated, only to be relocated to another table shortly after. The cocktail selection was limited and disappointing, and the food lacked flavour and excitement. To make matters worse, our bill amounted to nearly £200 for a main meal and three drinks each, which felt unjustifiably steep. Overall, the experience was overpriced and underwhelming.

We have been here quite a lot but I have never reviewed it. The food is exquisite, service impeccable and a great, buzzy place to eat. The wine selection is really varied and has some fabulous options (for red go for the Amarone!). This is a restaurant for a special occasion and it never fails to deliver. It is our favourite restaurant by far.

Came here today for the lunch special for my husband's birthday they couldn't do enough and went that extra mile with a candle when you think of the service the table cloths that have to be washed etc the quality you get for the price you pay it's worth it yes it's not the cheapest place but you are getting the very best fine dining in Beckenham high street drove 16 miles for this give it a whirl

This is a place that cares more about the atmosphere than the food. I visited here with a big group over the weekend and we were all extremely disappointed with how mediocre yet overpriced the food was. The only good thing on the menu was the cocktails (which took anything between 20-40mins to turn up). They need to go back to basics and focus more on the product than the makeshift Mayfair service. I don’t need to you to take my coat or pull out my chair but if I spend £100 on a meal for one then I expect to at least enjoy it a little bit and quite frankly it was below average. To make matters worse, half of the group I attended with, including myself, have been extremely sick since our visit which is clearly no coincidence and it’s the only time we’ve all met up recently. Don’t even get me started on the cokeheads in the tiny toilet who made it very difficult to use the toilet and at one point decided to attack a friend of mine and much to our surprise the restaurant refused to eject the attackers and instead, our night was cut short and the coked up idiots were protected. Maybe they’re regulars? I’ve given 1* because it is the lowest option but truthfully they don’t even deserve that, all things considered it’s the worst restaurant experience I have ever had the displeasure of enduring.

First time visit with partner being young they sat us at the worst table right by the bar and kinda of left us Drinks over priced got charged for the starters that didn’t arrive, and an etc beer that wasn’t ordered I basically paid £100 for two bowls of pasta that were tiny and not overly great. Last visit from me!!!my parents recommended but it has obviously gone down hill Service is key bit of advice I know it has that wannabe celeb feel to it but you have to bring the A game I felt like I got treated like a kid And like I had no money and no effort was made for my visit How do they know who I am or what I have it shouldn’t matter In fact the younger crowd have higher disposable income more friends to recommend I just have no idea why we would be treated like that It’s a big fat zero sorry

I visited on a Friday night with 3 friends. The atmosphere in the restaurant was fun, very busy but also a good vibe for a Friday night. The restaurant was buzzing in a great way. The staff were attentive to start with, taking our coats and show us to our table. Our waiter recommended the specials to start- asparagus cooked in butter with Parmesan and a poached egg and ravioli with burrata. There was nothing special about the specials. The portion sizes were recommended to share, however were not appropriate sizes to share. The asparagus was over boiled and bland, the poached egg was over cooked and I couldn’t taste any Parmesan. The ravioli was bland and dull. I would not recommend the “specials”. Over priced and boring. Moving onto main, I ordered Cacio e Pepe and it was overpriced, and again, boring. My friends also ordered pasta dishes that were over cooked and over priced. Hugely disappointing. The wine was also overpriced, the cheapest bottle was £47 and it was nothing special. I also had to top our own wine up after our waiter forgot about us for a while. The cocktails were my favourite part of the experience. I ordered a Pierluigi Mule and it was great. The toilets were covered in someone vomit and was left in that way for a while. The Dj was good- however not really the vibe I want to eat my pasta in. Overall, I felt I was robbed on Friday. We paid nearly £400 for a mediocre meal. It was badly cooked and extremely overpriced. If you’re thinking to go here, I wouldn’t bother. There’s lots of other restaurants on the high street that have great food for a quarter of the price. Disappointed.

This place may be expensive, but if you want a real Italian-style star restaurant, I don't know a better place with my own 15+ years of work in the catering industry. Service was top notch and everything was taken care of down to the last detail. If you don't want to spend anything while traveling, this is definitely a must-go.

Loved the food...service was good, very attentive staff. The only thing I would suggest is to lower the volume of the music as it's difficult to have a conversation. Have to say though the DJ did play some bangers :)

I visited last night with 10 friends for dinner and drinks. This place is so overrated it's a joke. It was packed to the brim and so crammed, hot and clammy. The food is very average and you'll pay on average £30 for a pasta,.£20 for a starter and £15 per drink or cocktail. The worst part of it all is the service, horrendous, honestly better service in Macdonald's. We were waiting 1-130 hr for drinks and when they come were all wrong. Staff have no idea who ordered what, the systems they use take orders clearly is not working. We were sat talking with no drinks or food for a long time. Don't waste your money go somewhere else like Eately In Liverpool st. This place has a decent atmosphere and music. It appears it's more like a club or the in place to be for the vibe rather than food. I am a foodie and love eating out but this is honestly the worst service I've ever seen and definitely is not an authentic Italian restaurant.

Lovely setting, found the food average. Went for a catch-up with friends, ould barely hear my friends as the music was so so loud.

Had our 50th anniversary lunch here, us and all our guests were very impressed with the food and service. The staff are all lovely and very accommodating as we had several last minute changes to the number of people coming and the table plan. Would highly recommend this restaurant.

Just had a very expensive night out at this Italian restaurant in Beckenham. When we got there we were welcomed and taken to our table by a very friendly restaurant manager. We had the Christmas menu and to say it was disappointing was an understatement. They had this weird concept where you order what you want for each course but then it gets served as some kind of sharing experience. We had chewy squid, a salad with soggy croutons and 2 mozzarella balls with arma ham between 6 of us. The main course was even worse. For the ones of us that chose the crab ravioli we were given 4 pieces of ravioli with no sides and a bit of creamy lemon sauce. The flavour was ok but a tiny portion. For the desserts we had the same concept as the starter where you choose what you want and then get it as a sharing platter. 3 people in our group chose profiteroles and a platter turned up with 2 profiteroles on it. We did complain and got given another plate with a couple more on it. Just poor quality and stingy portions. We ended up paying £100 each for a very mediocre meal. Will not be returning. Shame as it was a lovely restaurant before.

A really overrated / overpriced and yet underdelivering place! Took 20-30 minutes to get focaccia bread out to the table. Focaccia bread that was worse than what the M&S and Waitrose next door sell en masse. It looked/tasted like they cut up a hamburger bun, spread some butter and sprinkled some salt on it and slung it out on a wooden slab. The food then took another long time to come, when it finally arrived it was tasteless and unthought out. Tasted like food out of a tin. Dessert followed in the same vein. The service was substandard. Three or four people served us, each knowing less than the next person and then finally a Milanese gentleman started overhauling it, but this was about 3/4s through the night. I can't deny the experience of other people, but my experience was not good. I had to chase the wait staff to serve food, clear the table etc. The only thing that was punctual and meticulous was the bill.

I arrived at this restaurant to a warm friendly welcome. The staff are so friendly and accommodating, we felt like VIP’s. The food was delicious and took me back to family holidays in Italy. The decor was warm, cosy, smart and clean. I will be returning to celebrate my birthday in November with family and friends. Keep up the excellent work you deliver to your customers.

From the minute you walk in, you feel like you have walked into a restaurant in Italy. They staff are so friendly and attentive, you are looked after the minute you step into the door The decor is very smart and clean. The food was excellent, I will be returning and bringing friends and family.

Mmmm....I'm torn. I loved the servers. The place looks lovely and the music is great I liked the flavours of the food. Would I come here again? I'm not sure! We landed at 8, orders taken at 8.30, starter arrives close to 8.45 and mains at 9.15. For 2 hungry people, we dove straight into the overcooked and soggy Scicilian Squid. The Rigatoni with Ragu was lovely. The seafood risotto was quite literal. When they say King prawn, they mean business! One king prawn, lots of overcooked squid, and lots of muddy mussels, with a few clams. Flavours? Nice! Overall, the food is overpriced for really average quality, which came in so late. It's my personal opinion and maybe I just really shouldn't have ordered 2 sea food dishes. But in my defence, I hoped a minimum of 2 seafood dishes would be good to tell the quality of cooking.

Well all i can say is wow!" We went for a company meal on Friday night and the night was impeccable. We were a large group but were looked after very well by the staff especially Maria, the food was delicious and the drinks even better we will definitely be retuning.

If you’re looking to eat your meal with a DJ blasting out scratch music then this is the place for you. No chance of having a normal conversation. We were there on a Saturday night and the place was full of young people partying. If this is your scene then fine but as an older group of friends we picked the wrong place. .Food was quite nice but top prices and remarkably small portions. My husband came home and made a sandwich. Do your research before booking.

First visit here. The interaction with the team, which included one of the owners, was great. They were all so attentive and always helping each other so that customers always benefitted. The food was very, very tasty and beautifully presented. We had calamari and prawn avocado to start and seafood risotto and mushroom risotto as main dishes. Nicely laid out restaurant, too. We shall definitely be revisting.

This was always my favourite restaurant when I lived in beckenham , so it lovely to be back. I was not disappointed, the food is still superb and service is first class and very friendly. It made for a lovely afternoon and will try and visit again soon.

First and foremost-ladies and gents toilet In need of a deep clean. As is often the case in restaurants like this, the front of house staff very competent . Food. Calamari fritti over cooked and chewy. Sauce served with it bland. Bruschetta pomodoro completely tasteless. Hard chunks of garlic unpleasant to taste . Lack of seasoning. Capesante almost certainly frozen and tasteless. Gamberoni bianco . Prawns tasted frozen, they were served in a sauce that boarded on being unpleasant Tiramisu light weight with far too much cream. Profiteroles slightly wet and soggy Cappuccino served warm . What love for great simple Italian food this restaurant had, has long ago left this kitchen. Overall food experience 4/10 Value for money 3/10 Shame, great location, pleasant atmosphere .

AVOID this restaurant, the music is way too loud, the food is overpriced for what it is and they added extra drinks to bill in the hope that we wouldn't notice. They didn't even take an order for my main course but still charged me...

We had dinner here. The food was nice but we sat outside and had two “security” guys standing over us all evening which was very disconcerting. In the end we had to ask to move tables.

Visited a few months ago on a Saturday evening. I believe I booked over a week in advance however availability was limited and the latest slot I could get was 6:30pm. The staff at the restaurant were very pleasant from the door men to the waiters. (Door men made it feel very west end, Mayfair to be specific and I believe that’s the feel they are going for) Shout out to Maria. This place has been on my list for a few years. I actually recommend the place to several people before I went myself. I really enjoyed my food, I got the sea bass! So delicious and I think about it quite often lol. I WILL BE RETURNING.

Came to this place for a Bday office dinner. The restaurant is well known for the quality of the food and that was right ✅️. For the service & atmosphere I had different expectations. I found some clumsiness & rudness from the staff, combined with gentelmeny-ish behaviour... The atmosphere & design of the restaurant I would call it "basic". The back terrace looked way better than the inside of the restaurant. The 5 🌟 is given for the food as it was delicious. Probably was not the best night for the staff, but I will definitely be returning in the summer.

After living in the town for 15 years, I’d never ventured into this restaurant. In recent years, the ‘IT’ crowd of wannabe footballer’s wives has descended from Thursday night onwards has been rather off putting. However, my friend and I ventured in on a Saturday afternoon and we were pleasantly surprised. Busy enough but not hectic meant there was a lovely atmosphere. The staff were attentive and not too pushy. The menu is quite vast and I wish I could’ve sampled a few more things! Fabulous time and will definitely be back.

I absolutely love coming here, this is the most fantastic restaurant to come to for food and atmosphere. I am over on a visit to see my mum and my sister, my mum is in a wheelchair and I am so grateful for the help that they give us getting in and out, nothing is too much trouble. It's just a shame that I haven't seen Marco this time..but ill be back

The pasta is very good. Seafood is fresh. Every time I come to UK I will come here. The size of the soup is big, I never seen this soup bowl before in other restaurants. Forgot to take photo of the soup. Size of pasta is also huge enough for two ladies.

Really awful service and rude staff. We preordered and didn’t get half the desserts instead they tried to give us one profiterole each and were very rude and unhelpful. When we mentioned reducing the service which was extortionate was told we were unfair and out of order by a member of staff shouting in our face. Very unprofessional and would never return. Tables around us also had the same experience

Lamb cutlets were soo nice. I loved every bite The steamed veg was nice aswell. My only criticism is the sauce it came with. My partner loved it .. but I didn't. It was a vinegary type of sauce which is definitely not for me 🙅🏽‍♀️

Good Italian food but the service could be better. We waited 1 hour for the mains after we had the starters

Massively over rated and so over priced. Don't recommend. Waitress was lovley shame about everything else.

Ridiculously overpriced for very average food. Very oily and none of the dishes I tried had that good a flavour.

The prices are insane! This is an Italian restaurant in Beckenham, not Knightsbridge. To be charging £22 for ravioli and £30 for cotoletta is ridiculous. The shared antipasti 'Pierluigi' was £22 and included one small piece of cheese and four cured meats which lacked taste and quality. Very disappointing. It's never been a cheap place but now it's beyond my budget.
