My wife and I had an excellent lunch. We were given a very friendly and polite welcome, and then we were quickly escorted to our table. The menus were presented almost immediately when we sat down, as were the wine lists. Our starters and main courses were delicious, well presented, and hot. The staff were impeccably smart and good-natured - indeed, throughout our dining experience, the staff were very pro - active in the sense they were always very attentive. I would certainly recommend Quattordici as a very good dining venue.

Delicious dinner, excellent service and sensible bill. Had the wild boar ravioli followed by a tagliatelle al frutti di mare and enjoyed every bit Definitely recommend

Wow what can I say the food was absolutely delicious and stunning. We came here for my son’s birthday. The surf and turf was the best steak I have ever tasted in my life. The staff were very attentive and explained all the specials in full. They also did the Happy Birthday song with a cake which we brought with us. Five star food and five star service. I cannot wait to return.

The place was buzzing for a Thursday night, and full. Which was a plus and a minus - great atmosphere, but difficult to hear much. 🤣 As we walked through the restaurant, we were greeted cheerfully by literally all the staff. Impressive. A big group of 12 is very difficult for waiting staff, but they did well in the end. The food was beautifully presented and extremely tasty, with just the right sized portions. Only slight downside was trying to get the waiting staff to provide good old plain tap water in addition to drinks. Eventually got it after 15 minutes+ asking. All in all, highly recommended.

Love this place. Atmosphere amazing as is the food. Service excellent. Staff work really hard to make each diner feel special. Book well in advance.

Atmosphere upon entering, i was greeted by soft jazz melodies and the warm glow of flickering candlelight, creating an intimate and romantic ambiance. Service:the stsff of quattordici provided impeccable service throughout my meal. From the moment i was seated they were attentive courteous and knowledgeable about the menu offering insightful recommendations

First time trying this Italian Restaurant and it won’t be the last. All i can say is Wonderful.Everything about it;food,service and atmosphere was wonderful.Would come again!

I was there for Mother’s Day on Sunday 6 of us All had staters and mains I had the beef carpaccio and for main course i had the roast chicken Which was very flavourful it has to be on the top 5 roast for me overall excellent experience and staff was 10/10

It was an incredible experience after having been let down immensely by fish union they went out of their way to accommodate us and our 2 babies in the pram for our fust mother day. So service 10/5 food had great presentation and exceptional tast3 maintaining Italian character and combining it with British element. The manager Christos and all the staff made our experience amazing helping before we even asked. A nice selection of Italian wines as well!! Would definitely recommend!!!

Really enjoyed it here tonight. The staff were very attentive and polite. My starter was tasty, I ordered the cannelloni which I thought I’d like, but it wasn’t to my taste, the waiter realized I wasn’t enjoying it and changed it straight away (I never send food back so was a bit embarrassed) but they handled it very well. The dessert was lovely also. 10/10 service. They put a smiley face on my friends plate which made us all smile 🙂. Will be returning!

Poor service as soon as we walked in. We had 3 different waiters/waitresses approach asking whether we would like to order a drink, no communication between the staff. Two of us ate the fish special which was tasteless and smelly, definitely not fresh. A few of the waiters/waitresses were friendly and kind but unfortunately most were not. One point of the evening, the front of house man/waiter whatever his role was, begun angrily throwing the heavy menus against the wall making a loud banging sound, customers were so uncomfortable that they pretended it never happened. Very embarrassing to watch, we didn’t have dessert, paid and left. Very expensive also, the standard is low and not suited for Chislehurst.

The food was delicious and the portions were very generous. The service was very good as well, with staff checking in on us regularly and bringing food out quickly. For starters we had the mussels which were a big portion and the squid rings which were nice and spicy. For mains we had the veal liver which was very well cooked and the carbonara which was delicious as well.

Food was average. The noise level.was ridiculous. There was no personal service. The drinks list that had about 200 drinks on *only had 1 Alcohol free alternative* And no I do not want to drink coke with my meal. There was No Alcohol Free gin, rum or seedlip or Lyres or CleanCo or AF wine all are easily available in a Supermarket. Most restaurants at the very least have a choice of AF beers and AF Guiness and 3 choices of AF spirits. The food was average at best and the worst course was the choclate mousse that was grainy and very coco.powdery. And every 10.mins there was a LOUD chorus of happy birthday that was really irating. Do not get me wrong it's great for people to celebrate their birthday but just deliver the cake with a classy smile. The over kill re it being someone's birthday along with the overcrowded extremely noisy restaurant, average food and myself as a non drinker not being catered for would make us give this restaurant a swerve. If you want good food with a personal service, with a quiet classy atmosphere this place is not the place for you. And no.i would not come again.

Overcrowded restaurant with no AF drinks like AF gin etc. Food was ordinary..chocolate dessert was grainy. Restaurant was super noisy with happy birthday chorus sung literally every 5mins. I would not visit again.

Saturday night - it was a lively one. Atmosphere is good, just a little loud as noise travels. Was disappointed that our starters arrived before our drinks (they were ordered beforehand). When asking for tap water it took 3 requests before we finally received some. That aside the meal was tasty, it’s a popular venue. Just wish you could book online - come on guys you can afford the fees.

We called them up and with in 20 minutes we were seated and ordering. The food is real authentic Italian cuisine 👌🏻10 out of 10 for food, service and hospitality.

Very friendly staff, pleasant ambiance , (if a little noisy) and competent cooking. Our melanzanes were flavoursome, well-seasoned and the tomato sauce was excellent. Our saltimboca alla Madeira again were well-cooked, although the sauce was a little puzzling with an odd after taste which we couldn’t identify. Sauté potatoes were delicious and vegetables perfect. Main course portions are very generous and we wondered whether we’d have room for dessert, but we managed it! Wines are well-priced and there’s a good selection - a nice place.

What an awful restaurant. I booked the table at 18.00pm and was told that we would have to leave at 19.45pm which was fine as there were only two of us. *Upon arrival we sat down and almost immediately they asked if we wanted a drink (one drinks menu was provided) we said “no please give us a few moments”. * Circa 4 minutes later we were asked what we wanted to drink and what we would like to eat - we order our drinks and asked for more time while we were looking at the menu. * Circa 2 minutes later (I kid you not) again the waiter came over and asked what we wanted to eat. * We rushed looking through the menu and settled on the steak (in the menu it said medium rare) I ordered it as medium rare which I would have ordered it that way anyway * Steak arrived, looked huge and presented well (only bit of praise I can give this restaurant!) I was asked to check the steak to see if it was cooked OK - I have had steak in multiple restaurants, here and abroad and never once been asked to check if it was cooked OK as soon as it was placed on the table - I found that very strange. * Continued to eat the outside of the steak, which was fine, got into to the middle bit of the steak (it was a round piece) and it was rare boarding on blue. * When the waiter came over to check that the steak was OK, I said it was too rare for my liking and not really medium rare, this proceeded in having a further 2 waiters congregate around the table asking what was wrong and "did I want it put back on the grill to cook it for longer"; I was a bit perplexed by this all as a) I didn't want to have my half eaten steak chucked onto the grill and b) the chips and spinach would have got cold and my friend was in the middle of her food and c) it felt like a mob of waiters were talking at me all at once. * I ate some of the chips and not the rest of the steak. When the bill came, I told the waiter that I was not going to pay for the steak as I had not eaten it and it was too rare. I was told that the waiter had originally asked if I wanted to have another steak cooked for me or did I want something else. The only option I was given was to have it put back on the grill! Another waiter / assistant manager came over and said that they had asked me at the beginning of my meal for me to check the steak and see if it was OK? I countered with "I do not expect to sit there and dissect my steak in front of my guest/ fellow guests / waiters to check that it was fine. * Eventually after toing and froing they took 30% off the bill. I paid and we were out at 18.35pm.......... * Conclusion - we felt rushed, as if we were an inconvenience of being there. If you do decide to go, and have the steak, I would advise you to a) ask for it burnt b) when the waiter asks you to check the steak, make sure you cut your steak into multiple pieces to see if it is cooked to your liking and if you find that it is not after having a couple of mouthfuls, be prepared to have it ‘chucked’ back on the grill and c) check the menu before you arrive and know what you want as when you sit down expect a waiter to hover over your shoulder after two minutes! On a positive note, the non-alcohol bottled beer was cold!

Really liked this place, really personable service. I tried the specials and loved them all. Very reasonably priced.

We had a delightful pre Birthday dinner and 3 month celebration. The service was over and above, Thankyou Aimin and Claudia, whose service was faultless yet with so much character and attention to detail, making this evening so memorable- our dinner was delicious - compliments to the chef ! We look forward to returning !! Xx

I'll say it right out: the sardine bruschetta starter I had at around 1250 hrs today in Quattordici restaurant in Chislehurst was by a country mile the worst plate of food I have had in 102 trip adviser reviews. One of those rare moments when, as you start munching, you mumble to yourself: "boy is Trip Adviser gonna have to hear about this."A steaming pile of orange and yellow sludge. The boniest most flavourless sardines I've ever tasted. All on top of two soaked through slices of toast that bear no relation to something called bruschetta. Absolutely no flavour or structure to the plate. And they sold this as a "special." Guys, take my advice: remove it from the menu prontissimo. It's not funny. It's not edible. It's certainly not Italian. Other than that: my veal escalope main was ok. My 89 year old mother in law hated her rump of lamb repeating again and again through lunch that it was overdone. My wife liked her spaghetti in meatballs. My sister in law liked her Sunday beef slow roast which flaked away well (and the whole dish looked well presented - not piled on the plate) . The desserts -cheesecake and orange sorbet - were too sugary, too gooey, too big and were left unfinished. Wine was £27 a bottle. I feel bad writing this because one very good thing about this restaurant is that service is extremely good, staff are charming and there are plenty of them (something you don't see in many restaurants these days). Tables are well spaced out and the atmosphere in this busy restaurant on Sunday lunchtime was warm. But the kitchen needs to up its game. If you offer a special starter it's got to be good, not just chucked together any old how. My feeling is there's too much on the menu. I'm afraid Due Amici and Otto (both in Chislehurst parade) were - for now - superior experiences. This one was: Quattordici su Cento.

Dined here but my daughter became ill during starters, tried to explain to be told we had to pay for the full meal and take out away, apparently mains were being made even though starters were not finished and one not even started. Couldn’t comment on food was all cold by time we got home. Starters one order was taken incorrectly even though i repeated it back.

Always enjoy this restaurant, nice food. BUT never allow the staff to take your jacket, my son had just bought his for £190 and we never saw it again. So keep your jackets with you at all times

Went for Christmas dinner - it couldn't have been any better!

I was recommended by friends to try this place and I can honestly say the food, the atmosphere and the staff were all 5star. Trust me you will not be disappointed. They even surprised me with a birthday cheesecake with a candle and sung to me which was a lovely personal touch. Thanks guys 💜

A group booking for 15 people at 6pm The the food was excellent standard and large portions are given, the service was excellent although rushed due to the 2 hour sitting, timings between courses could have Been staggered better, the only criticism I would point out is the staff are over Zealous when topping up Champagne and wine glasses and in fact over spilled our champagne, so to much attention on upselling of beverages. But good overall attentive service. Considering we were a large group the food came nice and hot. Good value restaurant, excellent food

Over charged us for the bill.when pointed to this out, several waiters frowning at the table. Went £350 for table of 4, unfortunately there should be more sympathy on this correction, as oppose to spotting an error and penalising the customer. Would not return - waiters to be trained. Food was average/ decent.

Nice looking restaurant,until u sit down and they serve u Tesco Rolls in a basket. Service was good up until we told the manager to turn off the wall heaters that were facing our faces ,from there on we were totally ignored all night even by all the waiters.We waited over an hour for our mains to arrive. Food looked and tasted bland , please take our review serious and hopefully u will be more professional with your food and your customers .

As a family we enjoy sharing everything and the vegetarian options all lend themselves well to that. A very tasty meal!

Had Saturday lunch here. The atmosphere was relaxing and modern, the staff attentive, the food excellent. For main I had the Piatto Quattrodici (without the lemon sauce, as it contains butter) it was very tasty and the portion was big, slightly too big for me so I couldn't fit in a dessert 😅. I would recommend it!

The staff and food are unrivaled in Chislehurst and the surrounding areas. Best Italian I have had outside of Italy and even then it gives Italy a run for its money! The staff really couldn't do more though, they're incredibly friendly and help create a perfect atmosphere for a nice meal.

Our favourite place to eat in Royal Parade! We've been 3 or 4 times now and it's always been consistent. Yesterday Sunday early dinner was just the same. Ate here for first time in March and was superb all round. Great value for the quality of service and food. Unfortunately and recently, second time round was not so good in that the seafood risotto I ordered was very bland and had a broken clam shell in it. I managed to pick out the 2 larger pieces of shell but kept biting on much smaller pieces in my food which was like biting on grit. The garlic mushrooms and zucchini for starters were excellent though, particularly the mushrooms. Broken shell won’t stop me from going again but that just shouldn’t be finding it’s way into a dish in a restaurant of this general quality

The food was excellent throughout, tasty and good portion sizes. There is a lively buzz in the restaurant, which I prefer to quiet places. I have a couple of issues with the service though. Specials are offered but no prices are given, unless you ask. They are a fair bit more than other menu items so don’t be embarrassed to ask! Secondly, they were too keen to top up wine glasses and it all felt a bit rushed until we asked them for a break after the starters (which came very quickly after ordering). Address these issues and it would be 5 stars as the food was top class, with a wide choice on the menu.

The service was first class. The food was very bland, but I may have just selected the wrong item from the specials menu. The restaurant was very crowded and consequently very noisy and we had trouble speaking to each other on our own table. I also thought the meal was expensive for what we got, although this may just be London prices.

Amazing lunch with my Sister - we were slightly late for our table but we were not rushed out of the door, as they close for dinner. Last orders are 2:30 for lunch. Food was amazing and service was excellent. Really look forward to returning again very soon :)

Not a bad Italian restaurant, service are good, but a bit pushy to get you drink more, it's business I guess.

Service was outstanding, they gave great suggestions on food and were super nice. Food was really good too and the interior of the place has a great modern twist style. It’s close to a 5 star, but for me (an Italian) I feel that Italian restaurants sometimes stray too far away from traditional Italian that it loses its authenticity. For example, the Tiramisu is delicious - but chocolate sauce does not belong on a Tiramisu.

Huge selection of food and roast on a Sunday. Staff are brilliant and helpful.

6 of us went to this restaurant at lunchtime, the staff are friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and specials. There's a lovely garden area at the back that has a sliding roof. It's a great place to eat

Humourus service. Child friendly.( we had a toddler go walkabout and staff walked round her with a smile). When we needed more water, I held the bottle up and a waiter was there..

Fantastic service. We went last night and the restaurant was totally packed. We anticipated a long wait but the service was faultless. We didn’t feel rushed and the waiting staff were professional and friendly. The owner Chris was totally in control of the whole restaurant....

Definitely a hidden gem. Incredible food and service very reasonably priced.

I’ve visited twice this weekend. First time was Friday evening and it was heaving. The service on Friday night was excellent but the noise was too much. Me and my friend could barely hear one another, which was a shame. I visited again for Sunday lunch with another friend. We were asked seven times during the meal if everything was ok. It was too much - hence why I rated the service 3 stars. We found the food to be very tasty. I wouldn’t go here on a busy evening because it’s too noisy but would for lunch at weekends. I’d definitely visit again.

Busy; waiting staff friendly and made sure we were ok. Only criticism is that the fresh tomatoes had no taste at all. Quality tomatoes would make a big difference as they feature highly in many dishes and make the tricolore disappointing.

Fantastic food but why the rush? In and out within the hour because when we asked if we could have the starters and then choose our mains the answer was "no" which meant no break between the 2 courses.

Excellent service — the waiters actually have a goal to make sure you have the best experience - it is obvious. They’re not just there to past the time and earn money; they also care about doing the best job they can. Food was excellent, portion size was huge, and prices were literally below the average price in this day and age. £12 for a huge lasagna. Very proud of this place, I wish them all the best. The only thing I would say to improve on , is to have more vegan options. I know it is not in line with Italian traditional dishes, but it would be nice to slowly adjust to those who want to eat plant based but still enjoy this great restaurant. Best wishes

No idea why this restaurant has 4.5 stars. Anyone who's eaten good Italian food won't rate it and rave that their food is nice. Fishcake special was so dry it fell apart whilst trying to eat it, risotto main course was bland and tasteless and apple pie dessert tasted like pure alcohol. Service was good hence 2 stars. Won't be returning.

Fantastic food, best Italian in the area. Pasta dishes are very tasty and filling. Best not have a starter and a main, there is loads of food! The steaks are just superb!

The food was incredibly bland and needed further seasoning. The service was really rushed and we were told we couldn’t have a 15 min break between courses as they were busy and the food arrives in order of the orders being taken. 1 hour and...

Extremely noisy restaurant. Couple walking out behind me said exactly the same thing. Think it was the conservatory area nearby and the hard floors but in a party of ten could hardly hear the person next to me let alone those opposite or nearby. Went for pasta dishes and was very underwhelmed. Seasoning was hit and miss. One mouthfuls very salty and next one not. Had ravioli starter but butter totally overwhelming. Was like having ravioli in a butter soup. Main had salmon tagliatelle. Salmon superb but cream and caper sauce almost non existent. My wife's lamb was superb. Service attentive. If I want decent pasta dishes I will go elsewhere. If I want a quiet family meal I will go elsewhere. If I am here again I will have non pasta dishes.

Had lunch recently. Food was average and expensive, what shocked us was witnessing abusive behaviour and swearing by a group of men towards other customers; the staff seemed to not know how to deal with the incident. Not what we expect from a so called...

Saturday lunch for 5 was excellent and will definitely be returning despite us being told to quieten down for being too loud.
