An Unforgettable Event Night - Exceptional Service & Atmosphere! We recently attend an event night @ A-Mano, It was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. The ambience was perfect-elegant yet welcoming, with the perfect lighting and music to set the mood for the evening. The food was nothing short of spectacular! The drink selection was excellent, with unique cocktails and beers. They handled the large crowd with ease, ensuring everyone had a fantastic time. It was clear that the staff went above and beyond to make the event a success. I can’t wait to return for another special evening. Highly recommend this restaurant for any event or special occasion.

It is a nice place to visit on occasions, a good service and relaxed atmosphere, pizza and pasta are always good.

Always the best options Tasty Food

The waiter Micheal was a nice guy, the food was good. That’s where the positive feedback ends. The service was so poor, it became laughable. At least 5 staff members and no more than 5 tables to serve. Took over 10 minutes to ask if we wanted a drink and only asked, once I called them over. The food all came at different times, akin to going to a Wagamamas restaurant. No explanation or apology. It took over 10 minutes to clear the table, again only did so when prompted by us. Asked for the kids meal ice cream, but was then charged £6.95 x2 for adults ice cream. Ordered a tiramisu, told it wasn’t available. So ordered a different dessert. Told they had no vanilla ice cream, so would be served vanilla and raspberry. Back to a Wagamama service, the kids ice cream turned up, then had to wait for the rest of the tables desserts, only to be told after another 5 minutes waiting that the Panna cotta was frozen. After some more waiting the rest of the tables dessert arrived, not with the promised vanilla and raspberry ice cream, but with chocolate instead. No acknowledgment or explanation. We asked to remove the discretionary service, which they initially refused to do so. A litany of mistakes, slow service, intermittent food deliveries, an overall poor experience. We were stuck in there for 2 hours and 30 minutes for a 2 course meal. Unbelievable.

It was a music evening. The atomosphere was fantastic, we had a lovely food and a really lovely evening. Looking forward to going again.

Really disappointed in this restaurant, we used to order quite regularly and the food, customer service and time of delivery was on point - since several change of management the quality of pizza are either over cooked, too watery base and customer service is simply mediocre. Asked to add extra toppings such as red onions and got charged extra for about 4/5 finely cut onions which you couldn’t even taste! Prices keep on going up but quality keeps on going down - very doubtful that the amount of good reviews are genuine on here, since most people I know that live around Orpington do agree, that standards of this restaurant have drastically gone down. We won’t be going back there anytime soon!

Great service had wonderful cozy atmosphere and hot fresh foods.

Came down at 17:25 to order food and they said the kitchen was shut! Even though they had an hour and a half left of service (and online the kitchen says it closes at 19:00. The person we spoke to was very rude about it and rolled her eyes when we mentioned what it says on the website. Not good customer service at all, and should ideally change their information online.

The food was absolutely delicious, especially the Calzone, and the service was top-notch.

I live 1min walking from A mano, you can see my door from the restaurant (PLEASE SEE GOOGLE MAPS SCREENSHOTS FOR PROOF). Still, the pizzas were cold when delivered by the cook(?). The cook called because he got lost. He said he was at Wimpy's. I said we live in front of subway. His answer was "uh" and "I don't know where subway is" AGAIN, CHECK OUT MY PICTURES. I hope this made someone laugh because it sounds like a bad joke🤷‍♀️ Giving 2 stars because the manager came herself with a hot pizza to apologise, also because I couldn't get a refund 🤷‍♀️ something about "Just it" not working.

Had a wonderful meal here last night (sat 26th October) The service was fantastic. Very attentive without being over baring. The food was amazing!! Beautiful flavours and freshly cooked. We tried a couple of cocktails which were excellent quality and tasted lovely! Saturdays they have entertainment. We had a female singer who was really good fun. Fantastic atmosphere, gorgeous food, delicious cocktails and a great price. Will definitely be returning soon!

Good food and great service. We quite often pop in to this restaurant for a bite to eat. A starter each and chips to share works really well as a snack lunch. Plenty of larger plates to choose from if we are more hungry. The 241 pizza (Monday), burger (Tuesday) and pasta (Wednesday) are amazingly good value. Service is always friendly (Ellie served us with a smile today).

The waiters are extremely nice and attentive to detail. The food is ok, in my opinion it could be a little more seasoned but I would definitely come back because it’s clean, has a good service and food it’s acceptable

Since changing management, the food quality seems to have gone downhill (although the prices are the same), with the pizza base and cheese and toppings tasting worse than a few months ago. The loss of the deli in the restaurant is very sad. Please bring back the old recipes 😪

We are celebrating my wife birthday and the place was amazing the food was 100/10 but the girl serving was a little rude but the second girl was really nice. I recommend this place to all people and I will come back again 100%.

Nice little place. Went on a Wednesday, so not too busy. Staff were very nice and friendly. The pizzas were really good! We also tried their arancini, which was great - came with a nicely spiced salsa. Will definitely go again at some point.

My husband and I visited Mano Coffee Bar & Kitchen last night and tried the burgers, risotto and other dishes, They were absolutely amazing! The flavour were perfectly balanced, and the presentation was beautiful. I can’t wait to come back and try more dishes. Keep up the great work!"

I order the lasagne online. When it turned up to say I was disgusted is an understatement it looks like a bowl of slop and has clearly been reheated in the pot. I reported to Deliveroo immediately but I wanted the restaurant owners to see exactly what is being sent out of their kitchen. Very disappointed as I have had this a number of times before and has always been very good .

We have used you for many years eating in and take away with no problems. We ordered 5 pizza’s (ONE GLUTEN FREE) take away pizza and went to collect them thanks god (as we may not of seen what happened) as my son in a celiac and need gluten free pizza base (not cross contaminated with anything that contains gluten). The chef obviously doesn’t understand what this means as he was putting a gluten free pizza on a pan that had been unused for a gluten pizza base. The 2nd chef person a lady was trying to explain you have to use different pan for a gluten free one but the chef didn’t understand and started to get annoyed with the lady. Thank god the lady realised this was happening as the gluten could have made my son very unwell. My son also asked what was going on as they had been shouting about things, the lady reassured my son that she would start the pizza again from scratch and it would be another 10 minutes. We won’t be rushing back as this has made my son feel very uneasy about eating with you again! Also by the time we got home all the other pizza’s were cold and it was my son’s birthday we were celebrating, so it was a bit rubbish all round and not much of a celebration…

Went here last night… service was awful, girls could not find the red wine we had asked for, we had to select 3 different bottles, then were unable to open it. It took 40 mins for one pizza to arrive and when it came, it had a long hair in it that was not ours. Just really bad service and such a shame as this place used to be amazing. Even had the cheek to charge me service charge and no discount on my hairy pizza

I am a fan of this restaurant, recently the food quality has been so good. Definitely will recommend A-Mano Coffee Bar & Kitchen. Excited to come back soon to try their New BEERs 🍻 Cheers

Delicious food and quick service 10000/10

Got charged over £7 for a pint of beer here. Even in City of London you wouldn't pay that, and this is just little ol Orpington!. Obscene. They slapped a 'service charge' of god knows how much on for pouring the pint and walking a few yards to give it to me. The same happened a number of months later when I got stuck with nowhere else open for a late coffee so I came here and asked for a coffee - the menu said £3.50, but they wanted nearly £4 for a flat white, again because of that excessive 'service charge'! Those are the prices you'd pay in somewhere like Harrods, not Orpington high street. Unfortunately won't be returning here at these prices.

Always my favourite, Delicious Italian food, Great service. Very friendly place to be with friends and families. I have several visits to A-Mano @ Orpington and always spot on. Wonderful Evening.

I'm pretty sure the cook walked out, and the meal was something like a ready meal from tesco. It was so bad. My partner's risotto was made with white rice and the whole meal was watery, no flavour! The food on other tables was as bad. The pictures advertised surely aren't available and I would barely call this place an Italian restaurant. The prices are downright outrageous for the quality and portion.

We popped in for dinner on the way home from work (met the rest of the family at the highstreet). Nice and queit for a Thursday, so no issues getting a table for 4. I had the hole-y chicken pizza, which, when it arrived, had no hole with salad, but lettuce leaves with the chicken, avocado, and salad inside.. Saying all that, it was very nice.

Only the word “Lip smacking food” for their amazing, delectable food and menu! The food was fresh, properly prepared and great value for the price. Staff is also good towards every and each of the customers. I am looking forward to my next outing at A Mano!❤️

When the restaurant opened several years ago we had had many dinners at A Mano and was always happy with the food and service which is why we kept returning. But in the past year it has taken a nose dive. Tonight’s experience consisted of incorrect drinks to start off with. The wrong starter was brought out but said due to the mishap with the drinks and now this was said to be “complimentary” by one of the waiting staff and said they would bring out our correct starter which they did. This was then followed by our mains which were cold when served to us so we’re sent back. The pizza hadn’t even come out and we finally had enough so just asked for the bill and to not worry about the rest of the food. Service was slow and staff didn’t look very pleased to be there. When we got our bill we were charged for the drinks and starters we had (including the supposedly complimentary starter) but at this point we just wanted to get out so payed the bill and left. We would have expected some sort of reduction for the awful experience which is the least they could have done but to no avail. We won’t be returning and sad to see another once lovely restaurant go down hill.

We booked a table for 7pm, we got there 10 mins before, we waited over an hour for our starters, the restaurant wasn’t even busy, service was the slowest I have ever had in my life!!!!! My daughter and I had the same starter when I say it was bland it was tastless, no even garlic in the dish even though it states garlic,, but we were so hungry we just ate it,,, I have eaten in this restaurant so many times, and the food has always been good, what annoyed me the most is that the staff were just standing around the till and not looking up and around to see if anyone of the customers need anything, we had to get up 3 times I mean 3 times to ask for something, when we were leaving we over heard another un happy customer complaining about an hour and a half for pizza!! I mean pizza, I think they do too many take aways , and that’s where they are concentration on, !!!!

Food was great the service was so slow, took about an hour and a half to get any food. We nearly just walked out. The blonde lady in charge of service chose to ignore our complaints when it was time to pay. That’s fine I’ll pay the full bill but would never go back.

Every time I get within a few miles of Orpington I try and get to here for a meal. The place is lovely, food amazing and staff so friendly. Blood Orange Ice Cream should be a staple at every Italian 🙌🏽

It's such a amazing food and great vibe as well. I love sitting outside and eat the food, drink the beers.

Service very slow and a couple of my group didn't get their starters before they brought the mains! The staff were very helpful at that point and cooked our mains again while we ate the starters, and offered a complimentary bottle of prosecco for our inconvenience. Food was gorgeous, but a couple of us are coeliac and the staff seemed to be unaware of what they could and couldn't have - cross contamination practices even though there were gluten free options (using same water for normal and gluten free pasta, same oil for chips as breaded options, gluten free burger buns but burgers not gluten free). I would eat there again as the food was great, loads of choice and reasonable price, but double check if you have allergies!

If you have Coeliac Disease or need to eat a strict gluten free diet, do not eat here at A Mano. I rang in advance to check their would be food for me to eat and was told that gluten free pasta, gluten free pizza, and gluten free burgers were available alongside other options. However when I arrived, I was informed that the gluten free pizzas are cooked in the same oven as the regular ones not even on a separate tray or anything, so therefore would be contaminated. Furthermore, the gluten free pasta is cooked in the same water as the regular pasta, and no, they could not use other water?! There were gluten free buns available, however neither the meat or veggie burger were gluten free! As I was there for a friend's birthday, I couldn't really just walk out so ended up having to order the most expensive thing on the menu, steak and chips, I was assured that the chips were safe. This was later thrown into doubt by another member of staff, however I was later reassured. Altogether a disappointing and unsatisfactory experience, I will not be keen to return.

Family friendly. Nice food. Relaxed environment, expect to have time to chat while your meal is prepared but worth the wait!

Always visit here when I am in the area for work. The food is delicious and the hole-y pizza is especially nice. The atmosphere whenever I go is great and not loud, so I often take a book with me and relax while I eat. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. 10/10, would recommend.

Stunning little restaurant with some top quality food, the Tagliatelle Carbonara is to die for. Currently the best Italian food I have eaten in the UK. Would highly recommend everyone to come and try this restaurant.

Me and my mum visited last weekend and I can honestly say the food was the best I've had. We had the red onion and garlic and cheese focaccia and pepperoni pizzas. It was to die for. The staff were super friendly and welcoming also. What a great find!

As I walked in, i was greeted with a friendly welcome from a lovely member of staff called Camila, and was served by another lovely member staff called leah. The food was absolutely amazing and met all my standards. What an amazing and friendly experience. Would totally recommend!!

The pizza was very bad and not tasty at all. Materials without any care were thrown on top.

Just two of us decided to have a quick meal before heading out to town. We had bruschetta and salad to start with followed by fresh made pasta and simply pizza. All was freshly made full of flavours plus service was seamless, thank you to Kamila making our kick off night special. Will be back!

Hands down, we been served by Renata she was very professional and helpful and we have some of the best food I’ve had recently! They use the freshest ingredients and make sure each dish is done the right way. The calamari and arancini was especially memorable. Must try!

We went here 3 weeks ago and it was lovely, thats why we went back today. The starters was really but that was where it ended, my partner sent back he lasagna because it tasted like it had just come out of a microwave I hade a pizza it was all soggy and not cooked properly to top it all they charged us for food we never received. Overall it was a waste of £132.00 for a Sunday dinner we won’t be returning there again. Good luck to anybody that does try this place.

Went here for a date night with my boyfriend without a booking, we got a table for two straight away. The food was amazing & had so much flavour. The portions sizes were great, we got the bruschetta duo, polpette, cinghiale & gorgonzol pizza, n’duja piccante pizza, tiramisu & tortino miele & cannella. The pizzas were very filling that we ended up taking the rest home with us. The desserts were amazing especially the tortino miele & canella. The service was good & the waitresses were super friendly. We will be coming back to try the pasta!

I randomly walked in to this beautiful coffee and wine bar 🍷 and my immediate feeling was like COMFORTABLE and RELAXING.I had a pistachio cream filled mini crossiant and Camila offered me a delicious latte. Since I am from newyork I could tell the selection of their all Italian wine is so devine and delicious. Family get together Friday night. Food and service were very good. Everyone enjoyed what they had. Only downside was we were informed at 9.30 that the restaurant would be closing at 10 which seemed early on a Friday night. We would have liked to have stayed a little longer for drinks but sadly were not given the opportunity.

Very disappointed with the food. Only thing which we thought was made in house was the pizza which was very thick with some of the dough undercooked. Meatballs which were in my opinion from Tesco were a tenner - that’s taking the mick big time. Flat lager as well.

Food a bit too greasy for my liking. Nice menu and pleasant service. Pizza felt quite authentic but too much fat. Too much background music.

A 1st visit to A Mano for lunch with my daughter. The express lunch is excellent value and a good selection to choose from. I I had the insalata a mano.and she had a pizza with chicken and mushrooms. Salad was just OK, but no butter for bread had to ask, but the pizza was very good. Staff are nice and asked if things were OK. A very nice young man took our order. But please don't ask if you're finished while someone is still eating! Wait till we've both finished. And if you want to visit, take a torch as the loos are very dark : ) . Fix the lights!

Ordered takeaway via Deliveroo, all items delivered were cold. Had to reheat everything. A Mano not interested when I rung. Told me to take it up with deliveroo who were less than helpful.

Edit: the owner has replied ‘We have recognised that this review has been placed with malicious intentions to harm the business and has been flagged as inappropriate.’ Because they want to censor what they feel is a ‘bad review’. This was a genuine experience I had at this restaurant. I also emailed them about my experience in the restaurant before and got no response. Very poor. Really disappointed. Would give 0 stars if I could. Came here with two girlfriends from work tonight for an 8pm table on a Saturday. Found the restaurant maybe 2/3 full which seemed quiet compared to other times I have been. The waitress was very polite and helpful which was nice, and was good with my friends nut allergy. However it went downhill from there. One of my friends found a hair in her pizza, but wasn’t personally that offended by it and didn’t complain (I was quite horrified however). By 9 ish a woman who appeared to be the manager asked us if we wanted anything else (after mains, soft drinks, dessert and a tea) we said no we are ok thank you, and she pushed us to take the bill. We said ok and it was promptly split between the 3 of us (£90 total). About 915 we were one of 3 tables left seated and were just about to say goodbye when one of the staff burst out the bathroom and exclaimed ‘it happened again!!’ While holding an empty bottle of vodka. She took it straight to the manger I mentioned above and immediately they all started to glare at us. We thought perhaps they wanted us to leave as it was 920 but there were still another table left seated with full glasses of drink so we thought it was ok for us to have 5 mins to say goodbye (and I was still finishing my cup of tea!) and they are open until 11 apparently. Suddenly the manager comes over and barks at us ‘you have finished your meal and paid your bill. You have no reason to be here. Leave the premises’. We were absolutely shocked to be spoken to like this and gathered our things and left. I dropped my friend home and drove back past the restaurant 15/20 mins later to see the other table still seated in the restaurant and then I realised that they must have asked us to leave believing that we had drank the vodka in the bathroom (if they check the cctv they will see that only one of us popped into the loo for about a minute - without her handbag I might add). I feel absolutely offended and I think the way we were treated was appalling. I usually come to amano once or twice a month with various friends and family, and get takeaway. Seriously reconsider if you’re thinking of coming here. I won’t be returning!

We came for a birthday meal and both the service and the food was excellent. My favourite was the seafood pasta...the fish was delicious and fresh and the pasta was cooked to perfection. Well done A Mano, and thank you!
