Perfect place for a children's party. They book you a 10-12 slot before it opens, for £14.50/child, they all get to make their own pizza and get drinks, doughballs and ice cream too. Steph had a great rapport with the kids, the whole team was lovely and conscientious throughout. Highly recommended.

this place is dreadful! toilets are disgustingly filthy. the food is okay but was cold. drinks were nice. the waiters are rude and blunt.

We recently placed a large takeaway order from Pizza Express in Beckenham for our pupils during half-term, and we couldn't have been happier! Every pizza was perfectly tailored to accommodate the children's various dietary requirements and allergies—no detail was overlooked. From start to finish, the service was absolutely phenomenal. A special shout-out goes to the manager, Erjona, who went above and beyond to make everything run smoothly and was an absolute pleasure throughout the entire process. Most importantly, the pizzas were delicious and loved by all! Highly recommend this Pizza Express location for outstanding food, impeccable customer service, and genuine care for their customers’ needs.

Good service, karis was very helpfull

We experienced extremely slow service yesterday; my boyfriend and I waited over an hour for a Romana Sloppy Guiseppe and a Classic La-Raine. I approached the chef's area to see what the issue was, but I didn’t observe any urgency in getting the pizzas out. I then spoke to the manager on duty and requested that we have to leave and asked if our pizzas could be made for takeout. This was very disappointing and felt like a waste of both time and money. Finally when we thought it couldn’t be more worse, then just received the wrong food by chef. What a nightmare!!! Just ruined our Wednesday evening.

Was waiting 20 minutes to be served in which case the waitress was abrupt and rude when trying to order. Not a single smile and was told I'll be over soon with a a tone. Would not return to the Beckenham pizza express.

We love this branch we always go there as they always provide us with the best customer service . especially Nessy she’s very helpful, super quick , really good at what she’s doing , she makes sure we get the best service possible.

Popped by for a Caffè Reale and an espresso martini this afternoon and had a lovely time in Pizza Express Beckenham. Service was spot on, the dining room is surprisingly large and stylish. Can’t go wrong with a Pizza Express!

A big group of us had an adult pizza party here recently and Miss Emily made it so fun. We had a great time. Definitely worth the money. Would recommend. Only slight minor was that there was no background music in the restaurant but everything else was good. Thanks Miss Emily for being our pizza instructor and camera operator!

The place is very calming and beautiful. The view and food is just amazing!

Absolutely lovely experience. My daughter had her birthday party here and the staff were absolutely amazing in particular the manager who had the pleasure of wrangling Ten year olds. They take care of everything and engage with the children and get them very involved in the pizza making.

the restaurant didn't send one item. the driver was extremely kind and went back to get it. He was really kind and friendly and went out of his way to help.

The customer service was absolutely horrible it felt as if I was a dog waiting for loathed food. There was nothing in the name of customer service . The pizza took 40 minutes to arrive and my mum got upset because I got home very late . The waitress was nice but the service was just bad because the restaurant owner is a filthy rich individual who can’t employ more people . Overall bad service with good effort from the waitress but what a waste of money and time .

The food was good. The pizza base a bit chewy, but otherwise good. There were only 2 staff and they were great, but two staff across all those tables means slower service.

Used the January offer of a 2nd pizza for £1. Great selection, good service and enough space for two of us to eat lunch with large buggies nearby

The food was lovely, had a vegan pizza and really enjoyed it. My family also enjoyed their pizzas. Unfortunately the restaurant was quite cold, very drafty by the door. Also, the service was slow. To have 3 pizzas and one drink that was not tap water, we were here for an hour. Only wanted to stay for a short period of time. The restaurant was so loud and at one point we could not hear each other. Despite the issues we really enjoyed the food

They were really attentive and provided exceptional service and lovely staff.

Delivery took 2 hours to arrive - entirely resturants fault. Management rude and unhelpful. Was told by management and courier they actively prioritise eat in orders meaning deliveries go unmade for hours. No not touch with a bargepole.

Busy Friday night. It was always going to be slow. But the food was still hot on a freezing cold 🥶 evening, so fair play to the courier. We tipped them!

Hardly any cheese on cheesy garlic bread no cheese on Mac dbd cheese and pasta burnt on edges no butter provided for garlic bites

Dirty, dirty, dirty!!! Their parties are disgusting!!! Flies in the corner where the party is kept and the tables were absolutely dirty with hair, dirt and sauce. I was over charged at the end and she accepted a generous tip after refusing it because she knew that she already over charged me with a smirk. It was the business of the child ren that made me pay without realising until all the children were collected. I called in and nothing was done to rectify it.

We were a group of 13, mixture of children and adults. There was another group of about 10 and then some twos and fours dotted about the venue. Only appeared four staff attending to customers on the floor. Had to ask several times for jug of water and glasses and a plate was wrongly made up. Food was delicious though and with all the various things discounted on the app the price was very reasonable. Be aware that a service charge automatically is added to large groups

I reside in Beckenham for the last 5 years and have never been to pizza express till December 22nd December 2024. I was pleasantly surprised with the establishment, light, modern clean, functional and practical layout. The staff are welcoming and friendly, well spoken, clean attire and act with professionalism. The food menu has plenty to choose from. I ordered a bbq chicken pizza to take away. Wow, wow, wow, wowzers. Worthy of every penny. Succulent flavours, perfect portion and extremely delicious. Waiting time is short for your food to be freshly made & on the spot. Overall great experience.

My beer was put in the same bag as my calamari, and was apparently picked up from the restaurant about 45mins before it was delivered, so the food was cold and the beer was lukewarm.

The foodvwas cold and inedible. The order had left the restaurant 1 hour before it was delivered so not the fault of Pizza Express.

Quite simple one of the best pizza express restaurants I've visited and I like pizza express! Visited Beckenham branch this afternoon and had an amazing pizza and experience. Had the pleasure of meeting the manager who was so friendly and helpful in my opinion above and beyond duties. Well done jona I will be back again soon. Thankyou. Oh and a heads up the burnt brisket burnt ends pizza is the bomb! Loved it. Thanks again Beckenham!!

Terrible service!!!! Was approached by a waiter who said they’ll be back with a notepad to write down our order. Never saw her again. Food then took approximately 56 minutes to make by Mario and Luigi working in the kitchen. Asked if I was going cinema when I mentioned about waiting for my food

Ordered over £40 worth of takeaway from this Pizza Express. The pizzas arrived stone cold, stale bread base, and not even cut. One of the pizzas was wrong. Asked for a refund and was refused. The £7 dough ball blankets were stale, hard, overpriced and o lying 4 in the box. How could I recommend this place when that's £40 down the drain. Rubbish.

My local Pizza Express is so good… the best service pizzas always spot on( I Love the classic Neptune) and the music is good too. The Manageress is always very warm and welcoming and Liwia couldn’t be any more engaging and helpful… always smiling.

Pizza Express are the pits, especially the one in Beckenham. The staff are rude, the food is below standard. I received better service at the Bromley branch near the Vue cinema. The toilets in Beckneham STINKS and full of flies, big fat ones flying around. The drainage system needs sorting out. I noticed how my family was treated compared to others, could be that I'm of a darker shade, who knows. What I do know is I wont be back. Not all pizza express are bad but this one was awful!

Wonderful experience, Pizza are taste delicious, restaurant it is in a very hight standard, clean and tidy. If you like Pizza I highly recommend the Beckenham branch

One item was missing One item was open. Called restraunt and they said they couldnt replace.. call just eat for a refund. They charged 10% service charge with no service. Not ordering again and i suggest no one else does too.

Had a lovely evening here yesterday, and whilst I don't usually leave many reviews, I had to make a mention to the person who made the evening special. Karis was brilliant. She was attentive, detailed, and incredibly friendly. It was a small birthday meal for my eldest, which we didn't mention, but she realised the occasion and brought out a birthday sized slice of cake for my daughter, which was really thoughtful.

Pizza Express Beckenham, led by the fantastic manager Erjona, is truly a gem in the community! Their generosity in providing delicious pizzas to the children at Harris Primary Academy Beckenham Green for half-term was an incredible gesture. The quality of the food and the exceptional service exceeded all expectations, making the kids’ day extra special. It’s rare to find a restaurant so deeply involved in giving back, and Pizza Express Beckenham has certainly made a lasting impression. Stone cold when it arrived, which was a shame (they are only like 2 minutes walk away!). Just think when you order anymore than 4 pizzas, they struggle. Question of capacity really.

The meal was a pasta Meatball, it was poorly packaged, it came sideways in the bag, so all the wet sauce leaked out and the pasta was dry and not saucy. The sauce had leaked into the bag/packaging and when I removed the contents, sauce went everywhere. Overall dry and tasteless, very disappointed

Just had a really lovely meal with my hubby. Pizza was excellent but must say so was Karis, our waitress. How lovely is she. So friendly and professional, she explained the app to us (we’re getting on a bit now ☺️) and nothing was too much. Will definitely be returning.

We had a wonderful dining experience, thanks to our waitress, Liz. We were having dinner with our family, and Liz truly made the evening special. She was attentive without being intrusive. Liz had a warm and friendly demeanor that made us feel right at home, and she was fantastic with our kids, making sure they had everything they needed. Her service was prompt and professional, and she even offered great recommendations from the menu. Liz's exceptional service really enhanced our dining experience, and we look forward to coming back!

Karis was very, very helpful. She invited my 8 year old son to watch her prepare his dessert on the counter. She was very kind, bubbly and friendly, and even bypassed the West Wickham branch to come back to Beckenham for her assistance.

The order placed at 12:00, the driver arrived at the rest at 12:15,I called at 12:30 and the rest said the food had left at 12:25..the pizza did not arrive till 12:47, so 23 min after the pizza left the rest so cold!

Service from our server was great. Manager somewhat churlish and unwelcoming wanted us to pay our bill while we were still eating as he wanted to catch his bus home! This was only at about 10.20pm. Food rather took a back seat on this occasion.

The carbonara tasted like a microwave meal and was cold and smelt awful

Food was freezing cold, paid for delivery and took 20+ minutes to deliver my food after leaving restaurant.

A 90 minute wait for a couple of simple pizzas when trying to feed young children wasn’t ideal. Also, they tried to charge me for olives that we didn’t receive. Feeling generous, so not going to give them 1 star. Probably will come back to Pizza Express, just not this particular restaurant.

Place was a bit dirty ( lots of spider webs), food was delicious!

Disappointing late night dinner. I have always liked pizza express and the menu looked good but as we came late after clearly several tables had already dined the restaurant was extremely dirty. Our table had food stains on it, a knife was on the floor by my husband's feet, the surrounding tables were dirty and cutlery and used plates remained on them throughout our dinner. I also remembered why I stopped going to Pizza Express. While the pizzas when they arrived were tasty within about 10 minutes they were cold. I am not sure why Pizza Express doesn't serve their food on heated plates.

Nothing wrong with delivery timing, however the food was on the cold side. I ordered the Dream Team meal that came without the 2 small Peroni drinks, not impressed with that!!! I have had to reach out to Just Eat and wait for their response.

I have never had such an amazing experience at a Pizza Express restaurant! Nessi the lovely lady who served us went above and beyond during our entire dining experience. We wasn't sure what we wanted to eat because it got to the point where we wanted to try the entire menu but nessi also helped us with some recommendations which most definitely did not disappoint. The food was delicious and cooked very well. The chilli prawns starter I could eat non-stop. I would highly recommend this place and will be visiting again soon.

I called the restaurant and they said a driver didn’t come to deliver the food. I go on the JustEat app and it says order delivered. This is awful service. I was waiting 2 hours and nobody updated me or did anything helpful to resolve the issue.
