UE Delivery driver delivered with pizza held upright in carrier bag.  Pizza was mushed to one side with the toppings all off the side and onto the lid That same Sloppy Giuseppe pizza was undercooked and doughy and had hardly any cheese. Just dough, tomato sauce and few toppings. Also ordered double American cheese.  There is hardly any cheese on the pizza (supposed to have extra cheese) just covered in dry pepperoni with no cheese even over the pepperoni. They were all just sitting on top. My partner drove the pizzas back to this shop to ask them to replace and they refused - said it had to be done through Uber Eats The lady also touched up the SG Pizza whilst trying to investigate it being undercooked Was just asking for them to recook properly was not asking for a refund but they said they would not - and we have to take it up with UE Therefore leaving a negative review as they could have just replaced the subpar items.... appalling customer service

Sunday afternoon visit and it wasn't too busy. We were served quite quickly but the service wasn't very attentive. When staff won't make eye contact and stay focused on their device the whole time I find it extremely rude. My daughters calzone was cold and needed to go back to the kitchen to be reheated. My other daughters doighballs were not served and we had to remind staff they were ordered as her starter. My daughters brownie was ice cold, not warmed up at all and rock hard. My chicken starter said it came with rocket, but I had one tiny sprig of wilted rocket. All in all not a great experience at all. Restaurant very cold. Could be warmer food and service needs major improvement. Edit* after writing this review we were left sitting in a completely empty restaurant for 15 minutes no one came to give us the bill. I made my way to the desk where the manager and a staff member were talking. I waited a few minutes more and they didnt even acknowledge me standing clearly waiting to make payment. Only when I then started to leave, they called after me to pay the bill. I explained to the manager how unhappy I was with the food and the service. The fact we had to return the calzone as it wasn't cooked etc. She huffed and said she will remove it from the bill. I continued to explain that my starter was disappointing and she had the audacity to accuse me of being "confrontational". At that point I said OK we are leaving, and we walked out. I advised her to call the police and she shouted "YOUR FACE WILL BE ALL OVER CCTV" To which I responded "Good luck" and we left. I have NEVER walked out of somewhere without paying. But this felt absolutely justified. I will be following up with an email to head office over this situation. I was happy to pay for drinks and the food that was satisfactory. But to be called confrontational for merely explaining the issues is diabolical. I hope they learn from this that you can't treat customers like this!! Absolutely disgraceful. Please avoid this establishment at all costs!

I love this restaurant. I often come here with my child. Excellent customer service, great atmosphere and delicious food. There is always someone paying attention to my child, which is very nice. Great combination Oat Latte Coffee with cheesecake. We were served by Patrick, really knowledgeable and friendly waiter, was very helpful throughout the visit. I sincerely recommend this restaurant

Ive visited this restaurant and been disappointed with the staff and service. Today I ordered ubereats and the portion was tiny compared to at the restaurant and the food was not only lacking in sauce (Pollo Pasta) it was also completely burnt on top and therefore the pasta was crunchy. Very disappointing

The staff were absolutely brilliant, the lady that served us was so friendly and the service was fast and the food was delicious , my favourite place to go. It was a perfect place to go with all of my friends.

Polenta chips were not as rigid as I thought but were really tasty so I really didn't care! Halloumi bites were great and the dip was lovely. Reine pizza was good, could do with a few more olives but all in all, very enjoyable.

Had lunch here the other day with family and had a great time. Food served very quickly and the new meatball pizza was fantastic 😋 there was a problem with the rewards app which caused a big delay in paying but Monika and Elvire were patient and professional throughout, solving the issue and not making it seem like we were causing them trouble. Fabulous team and will definitely visit again soon!

Had a quick meal dinner at Pizza express Bromley Widmore road and the restaurant looks very nice and cosy with very good Christmas lights decorated. I had Romana Padana with extra pepperoni and it was delicious 🤤. I will be back again!

The dough balls were like tiny hard tasteless bullets & the margarita pizza flat & tasteless. Not sure what happened but it wasn’t a Friday treat sadly & won’t be ordering again.

I came to this Pizza Express for dinner with my friends today and as we were ordering our food my friend was told that the pasta she wanted was out of stock, that was not a problem and the waiter helped her choose a new one. She does not eat meat and we clearly notified the waiter and he helped her choose a pasta without any. When he gave us our food everything was ok until my friend took a bite of the dish that the waiter said was her meat free pasta and realised that the waitor gave her the wrong dish and mixed up lasagna with the meat free pasta. My friends whos food had been mixed up swapped food with eachother and ate the rest of their correct meals. We then tried to get his Attention many times and he just looked at us then walked straight past us multiple times. When he finally did get him back to our table we confronted the waiter (i believe his name was Mohammed) in a polite way just letting him know of his mistake and not to do it in the future as dietary requirements should be taken seriously. He did not take us seriously and then accused us of lying just to get money off our meal. He then said to us that he has been working there for ages and knew the difference between the two pastas (which he clearly didn't) and this was a conversation that lasted a good few minutes. He then said to us there is cameras around so he could prove we were 'lying' and we said to him go ahead check the cameras so he could see her biting into the lasagna and that must have changed his mind as he gave up trying. Eventually he did give us 15% off our meal but we all believed that was an unacceptable way to speak to customers and instead of accusing us of lying he should have just done the right thing and admitted to his mistake. I hope something will be done about this terrible behavior.

I went into the restaurant this Tuesday lunchtime and asked for a table for one. The restaurant had two tables taken and a takeaway customer. I was asked if I had booked a table & on saying no, the staff member said no, he couldn’t give me a table. He didn’t offer a reason, didn’t offer a takeaway option & I actually thought he was joking. But he wasn’t. I’m unaware of a no walk-in service but if there is, you will lose business and I will not try going there again or recommending.

The cannelloni did not disappoint - comfort food at its best. Pizza Express dipped a few years ago but has upped it’s game. It was established 59 years ago and still going strong!

One of the worst cramped places to eat in Bromley. Poor service, window side of restaurant sometimes smells really bad. Not an ideal place for family dining.

My family and I enjoyed our med week dinner at pizza express as it’s our regular treat on Thursday evening. Our food was fantastic and delicious as always but the service was appalling. We had Patryk serving us and he came across as arrogant and rude. We felt uncomfortable and intimidated by him as we witnessed him arguing with a female colleague. He was dismissive and did not make eye contact when we were trying to order desserts and get his attention. we had to ask few times for the dessert menu and eventually he delivered the menus asking us what do we want not professional and extremely rude.

Vicky hosted a Brownies pizza party. She was patient helpful and friendly to everyone. The girls loved it. Thank you.

My recent visit to Pizza Express was great. The moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the friendly staff, setting a positive tone for the evening. The food was delightful; we enjoyed perfectly baked Dough Balls with garlic butter, a nice spicy calabrese with a nice portion of fresh toppings, and a flavorful Pollo ad Astra pizza loaded with chicken, sweet Peppadew peppers, and cajun spices. The meal was complemented by a well-chosen bottle of house red wine and capped off with a rich, gooey Chocolate Fondant for dessert. Amazing food, the server we had was lovely! Very attentive and very switched on, I didn’t get his name, however when the server we had gone we were left just sitting around waiting for 30 mins for anyone to come over, the manager on shift didn’t seem to be bothered to do anything just stood around, we were gonna have desert but we were waiting around so long we just wanted to get the bill and even then trying to get anyones attention to get the bill was near on impossible!

The order is recorded as delivered on the Just Eat app but didn't arrive. But Pizza Express - Widmore Road, Bromley- states it was prepared but not picked up by Just Eat. Neither could Pizza Express contact Just Eat to find out why.

Came here before the theater and had a lovely meal. Food tased very nice. Friendly and helpful staff and very quick service!

Visited this branch on good Friday, appreciate places are busy but as only two customers whilst out shopping we don't expect to be asked if we've booked a table! Bookings are for groups or special occasions, it's pizza express! Suggest you greet 'walk in' customers with the offer of a waiting list rather than obviously turn customers away, you know when you're not welcome.

Just some problem with the courier I assume, the order arrived 1,5 hours late (ordered at about 18:15, arrived 20:15) Called the restaurant at about 19:30, they said the order was ready long time ago, just waited to be picked up

I didn't go and eat here but I would like you aware that some of the cooks didn't wear a hair net and could get hair into someones food

We had originally booked Zizzi next door for a change but after waiting to get even a drink for 15 mins we left and went next door to Pizza Express. What a difference a next door makes. It was as busy but they got us a table for two at the back. Our fav area. Got the menus and after a couple of minutes the waitress came over and we ordered drinks, garlic bread with mozzarella and roasted tomatoes to start. Lovely. My husband had pizza but we were going on elsewhere so I wanted something lighter . Chicken Caesar salad. It was up there with one of the best I’ve had. Their menu has so much on it now. Why we even bothered walking through the door at Zizzi. Pizza Express all the way ! Lovely waitress , great food .

I’ve always loved pizza express and we haven’t visited for quite some time! The pizza is always beautiful, however when asking for an extra ingredient to find out there was only 3 of said ingredient on pizza which you pay £2.50 for is not acceptable! Stop being stingy with your ingredients that we pay for! When I asked the waiter for more he didn’t seem happy to say the least! Also the kids desserts seem to have gone downhill, a small very hard brownie on the worlds tiniest plate, no strawberries on the side as ‘ran out’ and had to ask multiple times for the baby chino which comes with it! Not great really, I feel most wouldn’t ask for it so they just think we’ll skip it and if they ask, make it! We used to be a frequent visitor of PE before Covid and COL hit! And things like this just make me not want to visit again!

Unfortunately this is one of those looks are deceiving. I ordered a pasta, which sounded amazing on the menu, looked amazing when I got it but the first bite let me down along with the rest of the dish. There was little to no flavour, it wasn’t cheesy as it said which was disappointing. However, on a positive note, the service was amazing! We had a baby with us, they were accomodating so friendly and that is a 10/10 but the food I would not recommend. Will be back but not for the same dish.

Pizzas completely lacking any flavour a lot of the pizza hand no topping at all. Dough balls came without the butter dip.

When ordering a takeaway they give out tiny amounts of garlic butter in pots which are listed as being 200 calories worth. They give like a teaspoon at most. Now they’ve recently jist changed their garlic butter to the supermarket version or something similar and it’s awful.

I coming here often. And every time I am happy with the quality of food and service. Every dish I tried is relish. I like the salads, lasagna, calamari, olives and pizza Padana.It makes such a difference a good and friendly atmosphere.

We absolutely love this Pizza Express branch. The restaurant is always clean and tidy, the staff are always friendly and welcoming we are always happy to dine here. The pizza is always fresh and delicious and grand portion. The lasagna is also perfect every time and I love the cheesecake . Food was nice , service was excellent

It was an hour late but you won’t even let us select that because every time we press it goes back to 5 minutes. The courier took their sweet time, and the food was just sitting there because of the driving doing up lateness. We called the restaurant and the lovely lady who works there was so lovely to keep us updated and I blame the driver. Pls what was sir doing?

1 hour and 45 mins late. Ordered at 12.41, delivered at 14:26. The delivery time kept beng updated on the Just Eat website, so I eventually called at 14:07. Nobody answered. I left a message & contact number (as stipulated by Pizza Express) for a call-back that never came. It's really shoddy service. Food's been good in the past, but dry today.

I come here quite regularly for a little shopping break with my mum. The food is top-notch every time I come and the service is always amazing. Waiters/ waitresses are always so polite and accommodating and the little outside area at the back is lovely on a sunny day. The toilets are always clean and I find that to be a good indicator of the quality of hygiene in the kitchen and the restaurant in general! It can be quite noisy at times but that’s to be expected with such a popular restaurant chain! :)
