I got the bacon cheeseburger with fries yesterday and I am still thinking about it now, think it’s the best burger I’ve ever had! Also really liked the fries that were served with the burger and the mock tail I got. Would definitely come back here again!

Nos reunimos con familiares del noroeste de Inglaterra que estuvieron en Londres durante unos días. Dos comidas llegaron bastante rápido, aunque ninguno estaba particularmente caliente. Las otras dos comidas vinieron algún tiempo después y la comida de pasta era solo tibia. Fue enviado de vuelta para ser recalentado y el resto de nosotros comimos el nuestro antes de que ellos también estuvieran fríos. Encontré la pizza muy grasienta con pollo seco encima. Aquí se requiere algo de capacitación del personal ya que el camarero que trajo el café se inclinó por los otros dos comensales en lugar de caminar unos pasos más.

I really, really enjoyed it. I think it was the most delicious steak I've ever had. The pork ribs I ate together were also excellent. What I would like to thank and recommend more than this is the employee named Patrick who recommended the menu and the doneness of the steak to us. They treated us kindly without losing a smile from beginning to end, and of course the other employees were friendly as well, but they recognized us as Koreans and talked to us about various things. They also asked us if we had any inconveniences and tried to give us the best experience. I really appreciated this. Next time I visit London again, I would definitely go and eat there again.

Went with friends visiting from Spain - so high expectations! Couldn't be happier with my decision of going there. We all loved it. Nice settings, friendly staff, good service, and most importantly, good food at a reasonable price. Will definitely go back!

This restaurant was alright, however I only came here due to the fact it is close to Waterloo station. It isn't the best restaurant, however it is alright if you want a family meal of up to 3/4 people. Prices are hefty, with a can of sprite being £4, but the food was decent. I ordered the chicken with bacon, chips, cheese and house salad (I believe) and it was £21. The house salad started it would come with croutons, however it came with walnuts instead. Walnuts are alright, however I would've much preferred croutons on my salad.

For a restaurant built under the Waterloo East railway line to Charing Cross, we were very surprised to find a venue that could be anywhere in London. Ideally located 40m from the Waterloo main entrance, it offers a fixed price menu offering 2 courses for £26. The Cocktail and wine list is well stocked, and prices are reasonable for London. Perfect if you need a value meal with good service before taking your long-distance train journey. I wish I'd found it earlier!

The chicken didn't really have any flavor, it would have needed a sauce. The service was good.

As a family of 5, we arrived with no booking, and although busy, we were seated within 5 min. Service was friendly and attentive and food was delicious.

Right outside Waterloo station, for cheeky diner. Staff were very accommodating and helpful. Standard Pork ribs but well presented and piping hot, with fresh salad. Also had fish and chips, which was also large portion and piping hot. Deserts were 5*

The steaks were lovely and so were the ribs. The chicken wings to start were also lovely. The portion sizes were good. The chocolate fondant brownie was nice although not exactly what I expected. Overall the service and atmosphere were great.

One of the waiters who served us was very friendly, but we did not think the food was of high quality. Services not very clean.

I wouldn’t recommend the food here. The fish and chips were disappointing—the greasiest I’ve had in London, and the chips were the worst I’ve ever had in a restaurant. The quality felt low, and soaked in oil. The ribs were just okay, but nothing special. Service was decent.

We popped in for evening food. We hadn’t booked, but this was not a problem, we were shown to a lovely window seat. The welcome was warm. The service was very swift. The food was absolutely delicious! The prices are very reasonable indeed. The toilets need some attention. I can’t wait for my next trip to London. I know exactly where I’m going to eat!

Absolutely fantastic. Me and my partner were walk-ins. We had a booth and felt very cosy. We ordered our meal and the food was delivered very quickly. It was hot, well cooked and tasted super. The lady who took our order had a big smile all the time and made us feel special. Nothing was too much trouble. We shall return again as soos as possible. Highly recommended.

Very good experience. We can start with the intimate atmosphere and modern decoration. The person who served us was surely the most welcoming, warm and entertaining person I met during my entire vacation in London. And finally, the food was divine. The cooking point of the meat was simply perfect, the sauce contrasted very well with the meat and finally the shrimp with the garlic butter sauce was the icing on the cake. I highly recommend. Great hotel with helpful and friendly staff. This hotel is a 10-minute walk from a metro station and a 15-20 minute walk from Big Ben, the London Eye and Parliament. The hotel has a restaurant with a terrace on the 8th floor with a view of the London Eye. They have blankets against the cold.

Di italiano il none e qualche particolare ma nulla di piú. QUI solo perchè di passaggio temporaneo prima di un trasfer, servizio buono cibo da 6- , ho sfruttato il 2 for 1 della National Rail su pasta o pizza, quindi lagato poco.

We arrived and were immediately greeted by an employee. They were fast and friendly in terms of service. The food was superb and the atmosphere was great. You often hear a train passing by, but this can be ignored.

I understand why the British high street is in trouble when I visit here. Chaotic staff delivering extremely average food at absorbent prices. Starters (chicken skewers) and prawns were beyond average, and the steak main was a disaster. Cold mash, extremely salt sauces and a steak that was somehow tasted burnt but also undercooked. Service was efficient and cheerful, it the slop dished up ruined it. Don’t bother coming here.

Very nice place, great service, delicious food. Pepper and tomato soup is a real treat. Clean toilet, wheelchair accessible. I highly recommend it.

Completely inedible. Funghi bruschetta was meant to be “white wine garlic mozerella and thyme” and was stale mushrooms with zero of these things. I suppose maybe a sprinkling of cardboard disguised to look like mozerella on old ciabatta. Minging.

This is a great place to go if you are missing the taste of real American food. Ate there twice during our stay in London.

This was my first time at Black and Bliue Waterloo and I was not disappointed. The food was amazing that atmosphere was fun, but what made the evening really truly wonderful with our server Patrick. He was accommodating, friendly l, funny, and made our whole experience wonderful. Highly recommend!

Absolutely disgusted by the behaviour of the staff here, the mannerism are awful and nothing worse than a person sounding like a strained cat whining in front of customers. Clearly in the wrong profession and should treat customers with consideration and respect. This sadly was not the case. Avoid here unless you want to be paying for being treated like dirt!!!!!

We come from Nebraska in the U.S. where we are known for our steak and my daughter says this was the best steak she has ever had! Order the 22 oz steak - it is enough for two people unless you are a steak fed Nebraska girl with an appetite. LOL

Was looking for somewhere to eat, with 2 under 5's. And just walked in. Service was 10/10 and the steak and ribs full of flavour.....definitely a must visit. Would come again 100%.

Fine environment, alright service, but overpriced low quality food

Loud restaurant but nice hostess. Drink are decent but for a restaurant with a bull out front the burgers were badly overcooked and had zero flavor. Worse than McDonald’s, ribeye steak looked good but lacked seasoning. We also ordered 2 of the pork ribs and they too were badly overcooked. Dry and burned ribs with little BBQ sauce on the ribs meant this was a very expensive meal that was poorly prepared. Only good thing was we had a party of 11 that was seated immediately, but now we know why this place across from the Waterloo train station was empty.

I recently attended Azzuro, Waterloo after a matinee visit to Young Vic Theatre and was very surprised and greatly pleased by the experience. Over the years I have walked past the venue probably 100's of times, mainly on my way to or from South Bank, and have always seen it as an establishment where people 'hang out' in large groups outside the restaurant or seated at outdoor tables, looking as though they are uncomfortably and impatiently waiting to be attended to. Well, I needed to make use of my Tastecard in the Waterloo area on 5 June and came across a '2 for 1’ deal at ‘Azzuro’. I didn't realise that it was actually the place that I had passed so many times over the years, so was very surprised when I arrived. I was ushered in by Evalina, who I had spoken to on the phone to make my booking, and I was absolutely stunned by the massive interior, the very spacious and welcoming layout, the number of staff, and....... just everything! Once inside and seated, I found that the food menu options were plentiful, and the staff were engaging, warm, and friendly. I attended with my adult daughter and we were both very happy with our food choices and, of course, the potential Tastecard discount. We had starters, a main meal, and several non-alcoholic drinks. We didn't have dessert as we were too full from our starters and mains but the dessert options all looked pretty good. It's a shame that I had misjudged this venue for so many years, having only seen it from the outside. I had got it totally wrong. And, interestingly enough, when I left the venue at around 7 pm there were lots of people gathered outside, which is what I had become used to seeing over the years, but I had previously misjudged the scenario and had failed to appreciate what the restaurant had to offer on the inside. Well, NOW I KNOW!!

Tasteful and modern furnishings. The quality of the food and the service were impeccable. As almost always, we stayed true to the beef fillet.

Visited this restaurant with my family. We were greeted by a lovely staff member, who took us to our table and proceeded with our order. Food and drinks were of a good standard, however, it was the post meal service that was dreadful. As soon as finishing our meal, our plates were taken away (what I would expect), by a waiter (if I could call him that, who seemed to just walk around the restaurant and check the till). He failed to lift any empty glasses, we were not asked if we wanted to see the dessert menu, if we would like any further drinks/coffee. We tried to get his attention, on a number of occasions, but he still carried on ignoring us. Having a child in our company. She always liked pudding, but this didn’t happen. I decided enough was enough, and paid the bill, on leaving I made my point known, that this was unacceptable and very poor customer service. As I said on leaving, my bill would have been more, if the customer service was better. Instead it wasn’t. I won’t be returning to this restaurant again, and I hope the management takes these comments constructively. There is a clear training need here.

Our family looked up a restaurant in Waterloo and picked Black and Blue. Our server Patrick was amazing. He was so friendly and kind! Every time he left our table we all smiled and said how awesome he was. Thank you Patrick for making our meal such a great experience. Oh, and the food was the best meal we had in London!

In a two week holiday this was easily the worst food we were served. Tasted microwaved and at the speed it came out there is absolutely no way any of it was fresh cooked as the restaurant states. This is a pass for us.

I was pleasantly surprised with the food and the service. Reason to give less stars is that my medium cooked steak was raw on the sides and they have no draught beers.

Sharing steak was so tasty, cooked as requested. We asked for medium which it was, as my friend is always afraid to ask for nore rare, however could have done medium rare. Staff were so friendly and welcoming. Quiet because it wasnt busy but still nice chilled atmosphere

I ordered a fillet steak medium rare, it arrived still mooing. As I had already asked to change the vegetables which were swimming in butter to be changed, I didn't have the heart to ask them to cook my steak as requested. Very expensive for mediocre food. Won't be going back. Staff are very pleasant though.

Went for dinner after work, convenient for commuters. Very nice cocktails, I had a caesar salad which good, no less or more than I expected. Shame I couldn't try any of the burgers as I was not too hungry on the day. Will definitely be going back
